Cherry Dance

Positive experience: Cherry Dance......our "first dance" saviour! Neither of us had ever danced before and apart from religiously watching strictly, had ever had any experience of Ballroom dancing, so we approached the question of what to do for our first dance at our wedding with some nervousness. The instruction we had at Cherry Dance was amazing. It was tailored to our skill level (not very high) and was suited to what we wanted. The result........fantastic! Neither of us went wrong, and there were no damaged toes, a wonderful success, and a great sense of achievement. Thank you so much Cherry Dance.

Fantastic experience: I recently went to see Cherry Dance's Moulin Rouge Experience with some girlfriends, and it blew me away! I've known Cheryl for years, and seeing her onstage was a revelation. She transformed from a quiet character into this confident, powerful presence, leading a team of equally talented performers. You could feel the passion and hard work that went into the show. I'm definitely going to more of these; they're just amazing!

Fantastic experience: Literally love the body conditioning class I do here. I went in so unfit and am seeing so many improvements in myself. Emma is a fantastic teacher and so supportive. I can’t recommend it highly enough! I haven’t done any other classes yet, but will in the future.

Fantastic experience: Lovely environment with friendly teachers/instructors. No bullying policy and fun classes Felt welcomed and beginners are always welcomed warmly. Gaining confidence each class done. Soooo much fun to be had as you learn!! Lots of different things to suit all people and lots of giggles had!

Fantastic experience: It's a great friendly atmosphere for learning basic and advanced Aerial hoop, pole, silks, yoga, and burlesque. The tutor is really lovely and encouraging. Would recommend for all ages.

Fantastic experience: There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Cherry Dance has been for me. I joined the burlesque class 4 and a half years ago, and it’s been the most wonderful experience. I’ve found a new confidence in myself and an absolute love of performing, as well as finding a group of supportive and loving people who are now friends for life. Cheryl is an incredible teacher and has supported me hugely on a personal basis too. I’m very lucky to count Cheryl as one of my best friends now. Cherry Dance really is my happy place. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s just the best! ♥️

Fantastic experience: I started going to dance, street dance classes, at cherry Dance some 4 years ago. My daughter loved it so I thought I would give it a go. I got fitter, was made to feel so welcome by everyone, including Cheryl, I was never pushed but over time did a few of the public performances which was great fun and good for the confidence. I started to do more variety of classes, burlesque was one, even though I’m now 50 I was made to feel amazing. Never pushed to do things I wasn’t comfortable with but always encouraged. I have thrived with confidence, fitness and friends and amazing opportunities to be part of the performance team. Thank you. I can’t recommend this dance school enough

Especially going to Burlesque class with the girls Cherry Long Stockings troupe, always fun and sexy. Highly recommended and do all the time, love, love, ❤️ ❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: Joined Cherry Dance with the view of meeting new people when I moved to Eastbourne for a fresh start. Had no idea how welcome and supported I would feel. I joined the Burlesque class and its been incredible the women that I have met, all shapes, ages and background. Its a safe place to by myself. Great Chorography, great people and Cheryl is beyond wonderful. I wont miss a class with her every week and its become a highlight and a huge enjoyment in my life. Thanks Cherry Dance and Cheryl! Can't recommend them enough. Gave me a safe place when I was new to Eastbourne and given me friends for life! xx

Fantastic experience: The Burlesque classes are what originally drew me in during lock down and I haven't looked back! I absolutely love the studios, the choreography and how Cheryl both teaches us and treats us is an absolute dream. Cheryl is so friendly, down to earth and easy to talk to. She makes sure everyone is included at whatever level they're comfortable at and creates incredible routines. I've never felt sexier since joing the Burlesque troupe, and can only thank her and the team for all the opportunities I've been given through dancing at Cherry Dance. Plus the people I've met there have become my closest friends, it truly is a family vibe with the beat sense of humour! Cannot recommend enough ❤️❤️
