Fantastic experience: I have been attending Marks Active Seniors class for some years now and really enjoy it, he is an experienced instructor who adjusts the exercises to suit the individual abilities within the class. The music is great and the other attendees friendly. An excellent fun way to keep fit.

Fantastic experience: Joined the tai chi class with my husband about 9 months ago and we both thoroughly enjoy each session. Mark is a wonderful teacher, well qualified and with a fun sense of humour. Great class for calmness, balance and a lovely sociable atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I attend Mark's modern pilates class and always look forward to it. Mark changes through routine every month which keeps things fresh and interesting. The music is always great and really helps set the tome. What stands out most is how much Mark genuinely cares about the class, he takes time to demonstrate each part of the routine clearly and always offers different levels of difficulty to suit everyone. It's a fun supportive environment and a great class.

Fantastic experience: We are now coming up to two years of yoga classes with Mark & most in his class have been coming alot longer which can only confirm what a great teacher he is. Positive experience: Mark’s Pilates class is always a great time! He creates a warm, welcoming vibe and gives clear, easy-to-follow instructions. He’s super helpful and makes everyone feel comfortable. If I had one (very petty) complaint — it’s that he somehow makes planks feel twice as long. I swear his seconds aren’t the same as everyone else’s! Highly recommend!

During planks, I will ensure that I have a ready supply of dad jokes to make the time go faster. Furthermore, so you can see that I am being honest, I will ensure that the stopwatch on my phone is in your view.
Fantastic experience: Excellent classes for mobile seniors, routines are explained well and changed monthly. Music is great especially 50s, 60s, and 70s! Members are very welcoming too. Mark is very understanding if you cannot attend for whatever reason and a great teacher using exercises to increase mobility for seniors!

Fantastic experience: Recently joined Mark's fitness yogalates class after not practising yoga for a few years and I love it! The class is pacy enough for a good workout but with step by step instructions. Great atmosphere too - so pleased I found this class.

Fantastic experience: I've recently joined the tai chi class and found it has really helped my stress levels. Mark is a great teacher and has a good sense of humour. A really lovely way to spend a hour and with so many benefits to health and wellbeing.

Fantastic experience: Mark’s classes have been important to my health/life balance for the past 2-3 years, and as a 68-year-old, I need to keep on top of it. I rarely miss a class, and I feel much better because of it. Mark varies his classes from month to month, so there is variety, but also, each variation challenges different muscle groups, which are fundamental to core strength and central to Pilates. Mark has a good sense of humour, and as an experienced multi-faceted trainer, he offers advice as and when needed. The pilates class on Monday mornings is mixed-ability, friendly and open to both men and women. Good job, Mark, keep up the great work you do. Thanks Steve Parsons.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Mark's Active Seniors' class since January and have found it very beneficial and enjoyable. Low impact aerobics is pitched just right to get you slightly out of breath, followed by exercises or circuits to help with strength, balance and co-ordination. He chooses music from the 1950s and ..60s for us to sing along with and there is lots of laughter. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: A brilliant yoga class, I joined a few months ago & I think my balance is improving, the routines are changed every month which means several yoga moves are learnt, Mark is a very good & patient teacher, he explains everything very clearly & he gives many alternative moves if some are a bit difficult, the group are very friendly & make everyone welcome

Fantastic experience: In my 50's I had to give up previously much loved exercise classes due to medical issues. I was overjoyed to find a class with Mark that I could do! He gives various alternatives so everyone can take part, and is very knowledgeable. He also makes it fun, there's plenty of laughter involved.

Fantastic experience: After a long battle with my inner demons, I finally decided to do something for my own well-being before it's too late. As a life-long couch potato, I figured that slow motion Tai Chi could be the right starting point for me. It felt a bit odd to start with, but the welcoming atmosphere of the group convinced me to carry on. Six month later, the weekly class has become the highlight of my week. Mark is an excellent teacher with a lot of patience and a good sense of humour, making the classes an utterly enjoyable event. I can honestly say that my mental and physical well-being have considerably improved. As an added bonus, since I have learned how to 'repulse the monkey', I have never been attacked by one in the park ever since. Well done Mark, keep up the good work!

Pleased also that you are now better equipped to deal with monkeys in the park, but be careful that the squirrels don't have your nuts away! Fantastic experience: I went to Mark's active seniors group on a Thursday for several months. The group was welcoming and the routines were fun with different levels. Unfortunately since being in hospital in April I haven't been able to attend but it is my goal to return as soon as I can.

If you are not up to attending Active Seniors at the moment, but do want to attend group exercise classes, do get in touch as I know a couple of people that teach gentler exercise classes in the area. Fantastic experience: I always enjoy my Active Seniors Class with Mark! A great group of people - super, and fitting, music - aerobics and other fun exercises! Mark tempers the class to cover all levels and explains less or more strenuous ways of carrying out the different exercises! He has a great sense of humour too! Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Excellent classes with a fine tutor. Mark is patient, explains things well and always gives several alternatives of an exercise . He delivers a varied class and this changes regularly with different approaches and equipment. The modern Pilates has been perfect for me over the last three years or so, and it is taught with humour, a gentle leadership and much knowledge. Highly recommended.our class members are a real variety of people, all with different ages and fitness levels, and he manages to include us all, my core strength and fitness have really improved since I joined the class.

Fantastic experience: Mark runs excellent exercise courses within the Wyre Forest area. They are tailored to your needs and can be gentle or energetic depending on your abilities and preferences. The Tai Chi classes that I attended were friendly and well structured and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Mark’s flow yoga/pilates classes for almost a year now. The benefits to my core strength & balance are noticeable. There’s still room for improvement so I will continue with Mark which is great because I find the classes are most enjoyable. It’s a nice group of people and Mark brings a dose of humour to the classes so it’s not only a healthy thing to do but also fun. Thanks Mark

Fantastic experience: I have been attending the Active Seniors Classes for many years and found them to be very good. Mark is an excellent teacher and varies the class each month so it never get boring. As we get older Its the old adage 'use it or loose it'

Fantastic experience: I joined Tai Chi for Beginners with Mark in early 2023 and thoroughly enjoy it. Mark is very professional, but also relaxed and the session is always fun. There is no pressure and participants can go at their own pace. Since taking Tai Chi, my balance has improved as well as general well being. I would highly recommend Mark's class as a wonderful way to relax while gently working your muscles.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending the Active over 60's exercise class at Holy Innocents church, Kidderminster, for nearly a year. The exercises are varied but a routine will probably last 1 month, so it easy for us to remember. They are designed for our age group, but stretch our minds as well as our bodies. I feel I have definitely benefitted from attending this class, and Mark is an excellent teacher.

Fantastic experience: I have enjoyed Mark’s classes, initially Tai Chi and also Pilates for several years. Having completed Tai Chi Yang 8 & 24 I am now progressing(slowly) with Yang 40 and Mark is always patient as I come to grips with new forms and sequences. With Pilates I appreciate how the routine changes each month and of course the equipment used is great especially gliding discs!

Fantastic experience: Mark is a very experienced instructor and has great enthusiasm for all that he teaches in the classes. I have attended tai chi for around 18 months and yoga for 9 months which have helped with balance and flexibility. Mark conducts the classes professionally but also makes them fun. Very enjoyable and thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We go to modern Pilates on a Wednesday. Mark changes the routine every 4 weeks and makes the lesson as easy or as difficult for each persons abilities. He’s very knowledgeable and is more than happy to offer advice and exercise for any ongoing physical problems. Only downside to Marks lesson is ……….. he tells terrible jokes

Fantastic experience: I attend two of Marks classes the tai chi for beginners and yoga. He has a very good teaching manner which is inclusive for all abilities. He is very patient and there is no pressure to go at anymore than your own pace/ability. I always feel so much better for going. I recommend these classes for anyone.

Fantastic experience: A great tai chi class for beginners - well paced, clear instruction and a sense of humour throughout. A real sense of relaxation at the end and always enough of a challenge to keep it interesting.

Fantastic experience: On the advice of my Consultant Spinal Surgeon I commenced Gentle Yoga classes with some trepidation -12 months ago - , I need not have worried as Mark is an excellent instructor, tailoring exercises to individual needs. I started off sitting on a chair and now take part in all aspects of Gentle Yoga. I highly recommend anyone with back problems to try Gentle Yoga you will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: I’m a newcomer to Mark’s Pilates classes and within a short time I have seen an improvement in my strength and balance. Especially after having surgery last December. Mark is an excellent tutor, he runs the class with ease, he demonstrates each exercise at different levels to match your own ability. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Marks classes, I've been attending Yoga/Pilates classes for a few months now and they tread the right balance for me between physical difficulty and mental de-stressing. He teaches the movements thoroughly, making them easy to follow whether you are rather advanced or just starting out, and caters for each individual's ability or injuries... with the odd humorous comment here and there. The people in our classes are all ages and abilities, with the usual friendly faces :) If you're thinking of trying them out, I'd certainly recommend emailing him, and he can guide you as to which sessions would suit you the best. He is responsive with his messages, and always friendly.

Fantastic experience: I have attended Gentle Yoga classes at Holy Innocents for around 2 years. Always delivered with good humour, Mark offers us carefully planned moves which include stretches, twists, balances ,together with breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation. He includes music to good effect, also props. Every 4 weeks or so the set of exercises change so there is always variety. He clearly demonstrates the moves whilst giving different options to suit individual needs. I find the classes relaxed, enjoyable and very beneficial. Fantastic experience: I have attend both Active Seniors and Tai Chi for the last 2 years. Mark is an excellent teacher. The Active Senior sessions are always fun and the activities change on a regular basis but are always carefully chosen to improve flexibility, strength and balance. Mark adapts all the activités to cater for varying levels of fitness. I thoroughly enjoy the Tai Chi classes. Mark is able to teach beginners and a more experienced group in the same session which is an indication of his ability to focus on the needs of all his clients. Tai Chi is great for inducing a sense of calm and wellbeing.

Fantastic experience: Wed evening Tai Chi Holy Innocents Kidderminster class I’ve been attending Mark’s Wed Eve Class for about 2 years he’s a very patient teacher, with a sense of humour which keeps the class from being too serious and there is no ‘spiritual’ content which suits me. The people are very friendly and the payment scheme is very generous you pay for 10 sessions which are valid for 6 months (I think) so missing the odd class is not a problem. I confess that I only do Tai Chi in class, because life is busy and I’m useless at remembering sequences, so I’m not getting the most from the muscle strengthening potential of the exercise but that’s OK - the movements are slow and easy to follow, unlike aerobics or Zumba. It’s still good for balance, coordination, my brain and it’s a point in my week where I slow down. I still have a ‘good intention’ to incorporate the sequences into daily life and I’m still attending which says a lot. Thank you Mark.

Fantastic experience: Joined the class at Astley Village Hall some 10 weeks ago, the lessons are relaxed, very easy to follow and increasing my level of fitness. Enjoy the therapeutic effects of slow movements and relaxing music which accompanies the sessions. Mark is very encouraging and never makes you feel bad if you get it wrong, just helps you get the move right. Really enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Mark is an exceptionally patient Tai Chi teacher, and runs each class really well - not making anyone feel stupid, he repeats the moves carefully, ensuring everyone in the group understands the moves, and that they take care of their balance when doing the moves so that they are aware of how one movement flows into the next. 100% recommend his classes.

Fantastic experience: Active Seniors has definitely kept me more active! The routines change every month, which can cause confusion and hilarity amongst some of us, but all adds to the fun! Mark always explains the benefits of particular exercise, and music brings an added enjoyment. Fantastic experience: I've only been going to Mark's Tai Chi classes for 7 months but I really love it. Wished I started long ago. It's a really welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I always leave the sessions feeling much better physically and mentally than when I arrived. I would recommend any one of any ability to give it a go.

Fantastic experience: We have been attending Tai Chi classes in Areley Kings for a few months now. I have two hip replacements and have found the gentle exercises have improved my posture and balance. Mark is a very patient tutor, hence the classes are very relaxing.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Mark's gentle Yoga classses for several years. I have a problem with my left knee and have found his exercises most helpful. The group is very friendly and the majority of us have retired. Mark allows us to work at our own level. He gets to know his group well and designs his workouts to cater for their needs. Fantastic experience: I have been attending Mark's yoga classes for a number of years now and find them to be extremely beneficial in many areas including core strength, flexibility and balance. Mark fully understands the individual needs of his classes and provides a range of options for each pose depending on your ability. The routine is changed every month so you get the chance to familiarise yourself with it & practice it before moving on to a new one. He is extremely knowledgeable about what effect & benefit the poses & exercises have on each muscle group & parts of the body so you know exactly why you are doing it. I would highly recommend his classes where you made to feel welcome and at ease.

Fantastic experience: Mark runs a very good class for seniors. His classes help with strength and balance. We exercise to music. Routines are changed monthly and Mark makes every session enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Mark is very professional in his approach and understands the needs of his class members and their individual abilities. He has a relaxed but firm manner and is willing to explain, demonstrate and encourage till you are adept. As an added bonus to attending these classes not only do you feel fitter and more mobile you do so as part of a group of people who are friendly, like to sing and share a communal sense of humour...often at their own expense.! If you are unsure just give it a go you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Have been attending Mark's yoga classes at Holy Innocents Community Hall, earlier this year. Have now switched to Yang Style Tai Chi, which I am finding quite challenging, but also enjoying. Mark is a very patient teacher, and I am enjoying the classes. Would recommend to anybody to give it a go.

Fantastic experience: I moved over to Kidderminster nearly two years ago, and shortly after I moved into my cottage a leaflet dropped through my door advertising a variety of exercise classes in the area. My eye caught the Tai Chi for Beginners class, Wednesday evenings at Trimpley Village Hall. I had wanted to do Tai Chi for many years but never found a class local enough. This class is very local and Mark is an excellent teacher, I've been attending the class for coming up to two years. He has a great deal of patience and works through the movements gently and makes sure everyone understands properly. He then repeats the exercises so everyone can learn and practice them at home. I highly recommend Mark Wrench Exercise classes. He also does Pilates and Yoga.

Fantastic experience: I have been going for several years to the classes for strength and balance. I have noticed a difference in my own strength. The routine is changed every 4 weeks. Mark let's you move according to your ability holding on to a chair if necessary. He makes it enjoyable and fun.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Mark's classes for several years now, both yoga and now modern pilates. I am a horse rider and core strength is very important for me and the classes have really helped. The venues are convenient and Mark's dry sense of humour keeps us smiling. The routines change monthly to keep things interesting and work different parts of our bodies. There is no need to bring any equipment, Mark provides everything necessary and he demonstrates different levels of difficulty for each exercise so that no-one feels left out. Very friendly classes.

Fantastic experience: I started 'Tai Chi' with Mark Wrench last month,he is a wonderfully calm instructor who makes all newcomers welcome. Although I still have a lot to learn,I do feel that 'Tai Chi' with Mark is the best form of exercise/movement/balance/breathing mindfulness that I've ever done.....just wish i had started sooner! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I attend Pilates on a Wednesday evening. This is a great class if you want to exercise but don’t want to be running and jumping around. It is more about moving and stretching. It is a friendly group and Mark is a very good teacher who gives different levels for each exercise so you do what your comfortable with. I would highly recommend this class .

Positive experience: I've been attending Mark's classes in Tai Chi and 'Active Seniors' for about 8 years - they're relaxed and sociable and you can work at the level which best suits your capability. I usually come away feeling as though I've had a positive benefit from the exercise and some laughs in the process. Why only 4 stars out of 5? Only because Mark is continually extending his skill set and teaching knowledge - he's always improving the classes, and I wouldn't want him think there's no point in continuing to push for even higher standards!
Fantastic experience: I have been doing yoga with mark for about 5 years. I gave it up for about 12 months to do tai chi but started going again as I missed the exercises which help to keep you in trim and give you more flex ability. I also continued to do tai chi with mark as this is a different type of exercise which helps with memory and coordination. He is very patient with us and will keep going over the moves with us till we get them right and can do it on our own. I enjoy both classes.

Mark is a fantastic teacher and I have gained so much confidence, fitness and enjoyment from his classes. Fantastic experience: Have been attending Pilates classes since January 2018 and couldn't find the words to express how my fitness and concentration have improved. The stiffness in my spine and joints has simply disappeared. It is a sheer pleasure to attend as Mark is very dedicated to his members, his instructions are clear and precise, he ensures everyone gets the maximum benefit from each exercise and correct our posture in a tactful manner. The venue is ideal with ample parking area, plenty of room for everyone, comfortable indoor temperature and pleasant relaxed environment. I cannot recommend Mark Wrench strongly enough as a fitness instructor.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending yoga classes for the last three years with Kidderminster exercise classes, Mark is a excellent teacher is friendly and patient and will show you different moves depending on your fitness which is great as know one feels left out, they are a great price compared to other yoga classes and I thoroughly enjoy them and never been fitter.

Fantastic experience: Mom and I started Marks' Pilates class 2 weeks ago, Mom having Rheumatoid Arthritis and I have Fybromyalgia and I can not praise Mark highly enough. Fully supportive throughout the class and providing alternative exercises if we are unable to manage. We both already feel the benefits. Fantastic experience: I have attended Mark's classes for several years now and i really enjoy going each week. Mark is friendly and pleasant and always helpful, he does different ability levels for each routine and he changes the routines each month to make it interesting and up to date. The classes are friendly and you get to meet lots of different people so socially it is great too. Mark is very approachable and he will answer any questions you may have willingly. I would highly recommend Mark's classes.

Fantastic experience: Two years ago I started Mark's Active Seniors class to help me recover fitness after a stroke. They have been an enormous aid on my recovery journey. Mark thinks everything through with great care and encourages us to work to our ability. His exercises are geared for our age group and aim to improve our strength, balance and all round fitness. I am 75 and find classes enjoyable and relaxing. We are a friendly sociable lot and Mark is an excellent teacher. I now go to three classes a week
