Fantastic experience: Best one on one boxing sessions I've found in Bristol by far. Feel welcome there and look forward to going every week. My partner has also started going, and although she does a completely different style of training from me, she is really enjoying it. Alan is the man for intense powerful padwork sessions!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending bootcamps and PTs with Al for a number of years - even via zoom during lockdown Al is a great trainer and what sets him apart is the way that he gets to know his clients, how how far he can push you and help you get out of your comfort zone and push your fitness beyond what you think you can achieve. I have experienced a massive change in my fitness levels since having sessions with Al and regularly see other bootcampers have amazing changes in their fitness levels too. I won’t lie it is tough and you do need to push yourself but the change is so worth it Al is a great guy!

Fantastic experience: Well...where to start! I have trained with Al for the last few years and wish I had found the gym sooner. This is no 'normal' gym, there is no half hearted workouts whilst watching TV on the treadmill, no bodybuilders posing in the mirror, no more lacking in confidence or not knowing what to do. When you join you're not on your own, you are joining a community that all support each other, there are all ages, abilities and sizes and everyone encourages each other. The second you walk in the gym Al makes you feel welcome and at ease. His banter is second to none and he will have you smiling from the minute you walk in to the minute you leave. Don't wait until you've 'lost a bit of weight" or 'got a bit fitter' first, Al can help you whatever your fitness level, every session will be different and challenging in different ways, never boring and you never know whats coming next. Al isn't just about the physical, but the mental side of training too, learning to push yourself to your true ability. Al sets a true example in his own training and sets the bar high, after losing his eye to cancer he still showed that mentality training on SAS. And yes, if you join his bootcamp you will get to experience some of what he learnt! Al and Meg inspired me so much that I trained as a PT myself and even though he doesn't have to Al gives up his time to train me every week and help me progress with my own training cause that's the type of guy that he is! So if you've read this far, get booking in and you will never look back.
Fantastic experience: Amazing gym for people of all levels of fitness. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and encouraging. Bootcamps are the best! Feel like part of a team aiming for same goal (to get fitter). Shocked at improvement made and even more shocked that I happily got up at 530 to attend 6am sessions (a new for me!)
Fantastic experience: Completed 2 of Alan's boot camps and a couple of training sessions and whilst the training is hard (I am not a terribly fit person - yet) he caters well for all ranges of fitness in each class. The emphasis is on doing it all and doing it right, everyone's different and everyone is accepted. The classes have all been very welcoming, supportive and encouraging. As someone who hasn't have the drive or confidence to easily step into a gym - this is the place to go. Even motivated enough to look at other aspects of my life and diet to help improve my fitness as challenged mental to be stronger. Great training, great banter and team ethos.
Fantastic experience: I have done several boot camps now with Al and you couldn’t ask for a better trainer. He is inspirational, motivational and patient knowing exactly how far to push you to get the best result for you. He keeps it challenging and interesting and you will always leave feeling proud of what you have achieved!
Fantastic experience: I’ve done a lot of boot camps with al each one has been hard physically and mentally demanding, but al is an amazing trainer who help you to focus on your mindset and keep pushing to achieve your goals. every session is different with amazing banter to keep you laughing and enjoy each session. Alan also is able to adapt to each of our individual needs,, and support us emotionally too couldn’t ask for anyone better really x
Fantastic experience: I've just finished one of Alan's 10 week bootcamps. It was one of the most challenging exercise challenges that I have ever undertaken, both physically and mentally. Alan isn't like any other PTs that I know - he trains mindset as well as the physical side. He isn't afraid to really challenge you and push you to your limits. Training with Al can be tough but it's definitely so rewarding after you've completed a challenging session! Otherwise I'd just like to say that Alan is a top bloke - friendly, approachable, professional, but also a laugh. He's also a brilliant mental health champion and he's there for anybody that needs support. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him!
Fantastic experience: If Carlsberg did bootcamps it would be run by Alan Knight! After 2 bootcamps, 1 to 1 personal training sessions and his technical boxing classes he is a 1st class trainer. If you are bored of not achieving anything and in a rut of making excuses for the lack of motivation then the hardest thing you will have to do is walk in the door and introduce yourself. Nobody cares about the way you look your age or ability. All Alan cares about is making sure you become a better version of yourself. Prepare to be pushed past your limits but i assure you that you will look back and smile. Good luck!

Fantastic experience: I have done a couple of the boot camps and a few of the classes and some 121 sessions, and can honestly say that it has helped massively with my own personal goals and fitness but also mentally. If you want to challenge yourself and you want to reach your goals then trust me you won't be disappointed .
