Fantastic experience: Matt & the coaches at SWC are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in your progress. The club has a super encouraging atmosphere, no matter your experience level, you'll feel welcomed and part of the team from day one. Highly recommend both the Beginners and Improvers Courses!
Fantastic experience: I did the beginners course in October last year, and highly recommend it if you're new to weightlifting - Matt and Pennie couldn't be more helpful, and the course will have you confident in the snatch + clean and jerk, with proper form, by the end of the 8 weeks. The course is a lot of fun, and the gym is a welcoming environment with great people and a real sense of community.

Fantastic experience: I have just done the beginners weightlifting course with my daughter. The information, detailed explanations and focus on technique was excellent. Over the 8 week course we both felt confident and comfortable to lift with weight, knowing that we were doing so safely with the learnt technique. Matt is so knowledgeable and passionate about teaching these Olympic lifts. I would encourage anyone to do the course. 10/10
Fantastic experience: I started the beginner's Olympic weightlifting course having never lifted a bar before. Matt and Rooni's coaching has given me the skills and confidence to lift with proper form and technique. It's also one of the most supportive and welcoming gym environments I've ever been in, so would absolutely recommend!
