Fantastic experience: Carol is very knowledgeable and for the last year has been helping me to get stronger. I have chronic health conditions but due to her years of experience she can adapt a session depending on how I’m feeling on the day. We do something different every week and always have fun. I also appreciate the privacy of her studio, I don’t think I’d have started if it was at a communal gym. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: Exercise has been part of my daily life and wellness for the last 20 years plus, I started training with Carol about 5 years ago and haven’t looked anywhere else, not only is she my trainer, she has become a friend. Carol has a vested interest in my personal goal and makes working out enjoyable. Carol and I enjoy cooking and often discuss healthy dishes and I particularly appreciate her advice on healthy alternatives as I journey through perimenopause. I highly recommend Carol.

Fantastic experience: In my case I wanted to improve my overall fitness and help with dealing with an arthritic knee joint. Carol has been patient, understanding and has helped enormously with me gaining better use of my failing knee joint while I wait for a possible knee replacement operation. She makes exercising enjoyable and I appreciate the quietness and seclusion of her private gym. She knows when to push me beyond my comfort zone and encourages my efforts even when I don't feel as if I've achieved enough. I even have a helping hand from one of her two beautiful cats who seems to have taken a liking to me. I can highly recommend Carol to anyone wanting to start out on that journey to achieving a healthier mind and body.

Fantastic experience: Personal. Private. Progress. I've known Carol for many years and when my nutritionist suggested strength training would help with the trauma I was still carrying from a car accident, she was the perfect choice. She gives one-to-one personal training, tailoring the training to suit my health, diet and lifestyle. She has a studio which is private. So it is just me and her, which I appreciate, as we go at my pace and pushed to stretch my capabilities. I'm delighted with the progress I make every week and look forward to my next session.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Carol highly enough! Her knowledge and experience shine through. She has helped me to find a love of exercise that I didn’t ever think I would have and has changed my health, outlook and life as a result. I leave the sessions feeling accomplished and strong. She has a fantastic attitude and demeanour and helps me through challenging exercises that I never would have been able to do before seeing her. I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting sessions with Carol and I feel stronger and fitter than ever. Carol is a fantastic PT, but she’s also a lovely person who makes the sessions fun, encouraging and enjoyable. Fantastic experience: I signed up with Carol in order to improve my flexibility, strength and balance as I progress through my 60s. I have had about 20 weekly sessions now and can honestly say it has worked beyond my expectations. Carol has a good positive attitude, is extremely knowledgeable and tailors her proposition to my needs and capability. I look forward to and enjoy my weekly session. I have created a list of about 50 exercises broken down by upper body, core, lower body and split further by flexibility vs strength. I have my own collection of bands, bricks and balls that I use now, 5-7 times a week and am enjoying the benefits of improved physical fitness. No need to join a gym. Recommend highly.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with Carol for just over a year and the changes we have achieved through working together have been outstanding... I have lost in the region of 15 Kilos in weight; improved my body shape significantly; changed my diet; stopped smoking; enhanced my flexibility and strength; worked hard to effectively increase my balance and consistenly strengthen my core! Carol is one of those people that you trust to get a “job done”. Fun, fitness and focussed - all in one session... and no two sessions are the same. Fantastic experience: I went to Carol looking to fix my posture.She created an exercise routine catered towards my body and really helped me to get fit in a safe and structured way.I started to see good results, for example my right shoulder was dropped, but now sits even with my left :) Highly recommend Carol, really knowleageable and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Carol, she is a great personal trainer with lots of knowledge. Sessions are hard work but fun, and never boring with lots of variety in the workouts.

Fantastic experience: I spent 3 months training with Carol and would highly recommend her to anyone. I have always been nervous of personal training due to a spinal injury and two surgeries resulting in some limited mobility and flexibility in my back. However Carol has so much experience of working with clients with post surgical issues and she was able to tailor my training around my back and also (and most importantly to me) help me strengthen other parts of my body to protect and support my lower spine. I stopped being nervous of exercise and have felt the benefits in my strength and flexibility. Carol is a warm and encouraging trainer but will also guide you out of your comfort zone and show you what you are capable of. I can’t wait to start my next block of sessions!

Fantastic experience: Before I met Carol I was under-fit and overweight, she has helped me address both! I had tried a public gym in the past but found it intimidating and the promised assistance sporadic and non-specific. I did less and less and eventually stopped going. My gym sessions with Carol in her well-appointed private gym are varied but strenuous and closely tailored to my goals and health circumstances. Carol makes the sessions fun, which helps with motivation, and she has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in fitness and diet that underpins her work. Would recommend Live for Fitness to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Carol to help improve my fitness to play tennis. She was very friendly and helpful from the outset and I was surprised how strenuous her sessions felt afterwards but always fun. I was also very impressed by her knowledge of diet and foods. In writing this, I think I had better get back there and book another few sessions !!!

Fantastic experience: I've been doing personal training with Carol for just over six months now and am really noticing a difference in my overall fitness. She is really friendly and supportive, but also knows when to push me further to achieve my objectives. The set-up is great, very private, and with a lot of different options for training, so each session is unique and fun. I very highly recommend Carol's personal training services.

Fantastic experience: Carol is the perfect mix of motivation, drive and friendly support. Going in I was worried about being bullied into pushing myself beyond my capabilities but sessions with Carol are the complete opposite. My sessions are completed through laughter and encouragement. I have always come out smiling and exhausted. After breaking my toe randomly, Carol was flexible with types of exercises to suit my abilities and pain threshold. Originally I planned for 6 sessions... 6 months down the line and I still look forward to being pushed to achieve my personal goals.
