Fantastic experience: Starting at Strength and Mind was the best decision I made in terms of my fitness. Chris has been amazing since the start. I was initially anxious given my low fitness level but Chris tailored the workouts and encouraged me every session. 3 months later and I’m really happy with my progress; the changes I’ve noticed have been incredible. I’m definitely now in the best shape I’ve ever been in, I have more energy, and I’ve changed my eating habits for the best. When I began, I couldn’t even do a press up, now I’m comfortably doing 15+ every session. My advice for anyone considering starting out is to just go for it. The first session won’t be easy but as soon as you start seeing real improvements you will be so motivated to keep going.
Fantastic experience: Guys in the studio are awesome, make you feel comfortable and build confidence in doing things you dont think you can do in a mainstream busy gym, for both myself and my son they create a great and welcoming atmosphere
Fantastic experience: Lorna and Chris are outstanding trainers who dedicate themselves to helping each client achieve their goals. When I began a new training discipline, I felt overwhelmed, but after just one session with Lorna, my anxiety faded away. She not only instilled confidence in me but also created a variety of fun routines that made my training enjoyable. In a short time working together, I have improved my strength and learned many new skills. I’m excited to see what more we can accomplish together!
Fantastic experience: Chris has really changed my outlook both on my mind and strength. ♀️ After a very tough time I am now in a better place. His encouragement has been FABULOUS. He has been BRILLIANT with me even through my moaning days. Things don't change overnight but looking back I cannot believe the difference from starting my P/T with Chris. I still have a way to go but I am getting there slowly. Thank you Chris.

Fantastic experience: Chris is very responsive to what I can do and easily adapts to help me get the most out of my training. The studio is kitted out for a variety of functional fitness training which is ideal for my goals and wouldn't be available in gyms. Chris and Lorna have created a really supportive environment where I look forward to every single training session.
Fantastic experience: Shoutout to Lorna & Chris, what an amazing pair! I've been with Strength and Mind Fitness Studio since they took over Breeze and what can I say?! Not only are the classes (Mon&Wed)phenomenal but Lorna is there every step of the way to make sure you are doing it correctly (and with the correct weight lol) Started PT with Chris a few months ago and I'm already blown away with the changes with weight, measurements and my fitness levels. But not only that but I've learnt so much. No more crash diets just easy small changes which over time will become sustainable and routine. I can't wait to see what 2024 brings!
Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Chris & Lorna since they took over the studio. Lorna makes the classes fun but pushes you & I can definitely feel my fitness levels improving. Chris is a fabulous trainer & I'm achieving things I had never dreamt of doing. I can't wait to see where the journey goes. And Christine's yoga classes are warm, welcoming & a great way to unwind. Fantastic experience: I've been training with Chris and attending classes with Lorna for two months and it's a decision I couldn't be happier about. Both of them have shown extreme dedication, bringing their skills and infectious energy to every single session. The fast and incredible changes I've seen in myself speak volumes about their amazing work. I've not only managed to get noticeably stronger, but I've also drastically improved my fitness level. They've helped me to push my boundaries and reach workout goals I never thought possible, helping me feel better both inside and out. I see a huge difference in the way I look and, more importantly, in the way I feel about myself. To say the sessions are fun is an understatement, they're not just interesting, they're thoroughly engaging and entertaining. I’m always looking forward to every session! If you're looking for trainers who are skilled, patient, motivating, and capable of delivering results look no further. Chris and Lorna come highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: I started training with Chris 2 months ago and he's helped me find the joy in exercise that I've never been able to find by myself. He has taken the time to understand my motivations, my strengths and weaknesses and he makes every training session enjoyable. I've seen and felt some excellent progress in the last few months and I can't wait to see what lies ahead. Chris is an absolute gentleman so he'll not accept any praise for what he does, but without his calm nature and positive encouragement there's no way I'd have been able to make the steps I've made so far. I can't recommend this studio enough. Any trepidation I had about entering a gym disappeared as soon I met Chris, so for anyone looking to take their first steps then you're in very safe hands here.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Lorna and Chris for the last couple of months after they took over their new gym space. Lorna and Chris have both really listened to what I hope to gain from training, including a space to focus on my own well-being. Sessions are always enjoyable while taking me out of my comfort zone, challenging me to improve my strength and fitness and work towards my goals. The atmosphere in the gym is welcoming, encouraging and there’s always a bit of craic to be had. I would definitely recommend joining the community Lorna and Chris are building.
Fantastic experience: I have trained with Lorna for a long time and always look forward to our sessions. She keeps it fresh and makes a real effort to tailor each session to suit my interests and fitness goals. Both Chris and Lorna are easy to get along with and made me feel comfortable from the get go. The new gym is amazing and I would persuade anybody thinking of joining/messaging to go for it! You wont regret it.
Fantastic experience: I started training with Lorna over two years ago & it has been great to see my strength and mental health improve after years of not being consistent with my training and health, not to mention my confidence in my body improve. Every week we do new and different excercises so it never gets boring. Lorna has such a lovely way about her and is always so encouraging but also so knowledgeable about nutrition and other aspects of health and fitness. I have learnt so much and made lots of positive changes to my lifestyle. I always look forward to our sessions every week. Highly recommend Lorna and Chris and their new gym is just fab!
Fantastic experience: Been training with Chris for 2 years and lost over 35lbs in weight as well as learning loads of new training methods. Training always enjoyable as well. Would recommend to anyone thinking about it.
Fantastic experience: I have been training with Chis for just under a year now and it has had a hugely positive impact on my fitness, confidence and sense of well-being. Sessions are tailored to me and have been getting progressively more challenging as my strength and fitness have improved. The new premises are a very pleasant and welcoming place to train, especially for those who are new to a gym environment or returning after a long time. Sessions are challenging but there is always good banter and a great sense of achievement at the end. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: I have been training with Chris for over 4 years now, losing 3 stone within the first year, and going from someone who couldn’t even do a press-up on my knees or running the length of myself to being able to run a marathon. The training has been tailored to my needs and abilities, with my training at S+M complimenting the work I’ve done to becoming a regular runner. Highly recommend if you’re someone at the start of a fitness journey, or even if you just want to maintain the fitness you have.
Fantastic experience: I am a self proclaimed hater of exercise who has tried a few coaches over the years. I can verify Chris won’t be asking you to consumer two boiled eggs as soon as you open your eyes and run 5k a day. He has a realistic perception of people lives whilst still guiding and coaching you to get into shape. I now have twice weekly one to one sessions and even look forward to it. A lovely gym with lovely staff, who genuinely care. Give it a try.
Fantastic experience: I've been with Chris for 3 years and have no plans of stopping! At first my goal was weight lose - which was achieved as I lost 3 stone! Now i realise your goals are always changing. I saw that at Strength and Mind Fitness they offer Calisthenics training, which inspried me to get stronger so I could adapt this training style. Since then I have learned so many new skills on the rings, and continue to improve every week! Chris and Lorna are both very knowledgable - he has had to get creative with my training while recovering from an injury, and also offering nutritional advice that suits my lifestyle (no eat chicken and rice for the rest of your life in this gym!). I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an educated PT who will be invested in your success 100%
Fantastic experience: Chris and the rest of the team have done a smashing job with this new studio. First class facilities for my 1-1 PT sessions with Chris. Perfect place for anyone looking tailored training away from a traditional gym. Chris figured a programme that helped me through an old knee injury and I’m now feeling better and stronger than ever. Choice of music helps too ;).
Fantastic experience: I started with Chris in April this year, I had lost my enthusiasm for training and I was looking for some direction and something new. Chris began tailoring my training to help me get stronger and achieve some new goals. Fast forward to today and I am stronger than I've ever been, I'm in the best shape of my life and my confidence has soared. I'm also super excited about training again and what I can still learn. If you are looking for 1-2-1 training or just hoping to join up for group training I can't recommend these guys highly enough. The studio is bright, well equipped and a super fun place to train.
Fantastic experience: Lovely studio and the best PTs in the game. I have trained with Chris for 9 months and his approach to functional fitness has drastically improved my confidence in my abilities. If you are looking for classes or some personal training in a well equipped, friendly and encouraging environment, Strength and Mind Fitness Studio is the one.
