Fantastic experience: This morning I trained with the wonderful Frances and it was so much fun, sweating and great tunes. After my accident in January, I tried to work out a few times but without any positive results afterwards. Instead, with Frances I felt safe, she knows what to do by personalizing the exercise considering my injuries! I am so happy that finally, I can work out with an amazing combination of Spinning and TRX.
Fantastic experience: I was delighted to hear of a TRX/SPIN studio new my home and started taking the TRX and SPIN classes with Frances early February 2023, I can surely say she is one of the best, motivated trainers I have ever worked with. The classes are a perfect mix of strength training with intermittent intensity drills. Frances is so friendly and encouraging. She takes the time to teach you the moves and corrects you when required. I look forward to each class with Frances and am feeling so much stronger as a result of training with her. Fantastic experience: I’ve taken numerous classes with Frances Mikuriya- her TRX training sessions and SpinAddikts Indoor cycling classes are at a different level. As an ex-professional athlete (competitive swimmer), I appreciate high level coaching which is hard to find these days in gyms and even in bespoke fitness studios. Frances' training gives you results. Whether you are an athlete or someone needing fitness guidance, she is the person to go to- as she is meticulous and genuinely cares about each individual. I have back issues due to scoliosis and everytime I take Frances' TRX classes, it has helped alleviate my back pain and I always feel great afterwards! I also have had surgery in my abdomen and training with her has helped my core strength which is critical for my recovery to top fitness. Her sessions are also fun and energetic!
Fantastic experience: I felt like sharing this because doing TRX sessions designed by Frances has had a transformative effect on my ability to continue to play team sports and to pursue other forms of exercise, including my own self-confessed SpinAddikts habit. As well as enabling me to maintain (and in fact also recover) mobility and build core strength, I am convinced that weekly TRX sessions significantly reduce post-workout and post-match (my other addiction being 7-a-side football) inflammation. Of course I am speaking only for myself and my own hips and joints (!), but, compared to my younger non-TRX supported phase, I can only testify to it (TRX) being key to my continued enjoyment of team sports after decades of impact on the body. The attention to detail and meticulous design of Frances' various TRX sessions sets her apart as a trainer. Within weeks you will feel the transformation, but with every session you emerge feeling energised; you know that you have just worked muscles and your core in a manner unique to this discipline, but more importantly, that you have done so under the guidance of a rare and gifted exponent of the art of this mode of supension training. Until you have tried part-suspended planks and 'mountain climbers', not to mention the 'bonus' surprises Frances throws in - all with a maximum attention to safety - you won't know what you are missing. If some techniques do not suit a participant's ability Frances will adapt for the individual while still keeping everyone else ticking along with the programme. This is inclusive group training which somehow manages to be responsive to individual needs and limits. Throw in a spin session on the same day or on another day of the week and you are building very solid foundations for all-round fitness. I have to add that personal training here is a truly 'next level' experience. There is sports science, research, passion, humanity (a rare treat in this industry), dedication and innovation at this pop-up. Catch it while it's here and hope, like me, that it becomes permanent. If not I will certainly be following Frances M to any future London locations!
