Fantastic experience: Great for all ages . My son really likes coming here.

Fantastic experience: We had not had a great experience with another karate club that had seemingly put my son off for life, so when we brought my daughter to The Bonsai Black Belt Academy for a free taster class we were really impressed with the dojo, and with the students and most of all by Sensei Lydia and the coaches. My daughter loved it and my son, having helped her practice, immediately asked if he could train as well and is now a junior coach! His confidence and focus have increased so much and it’s all due to Lydia and the example she sets. She inspires the kids to want to do well and can adapt her style to teach anyone of any age or ability. The dojo is not just a place to train, it is a place where students feel welcome and valued and it’s my pleasure to heartily recommend it.

Fantastic experience: My son started just before his 4th birthday and was very shy and nervous to begin with. But this class has really helped with his confidence (around others and regarding his own ability) and 10 months later he has come on so much. Thank you to Sensei Lydia for all the encouragement and support! It’s a class I would recommend to anyone

Fantastic experience: My wife and daughter have only been going for a couple of weeks, but I can honestly say that we are absolutely impressed with Bonsai Black Belt Academy. Not only with the Instructor's, but with the syllabus, the facilities and the students. It's brilliant to see young children demonstrating kicks way above their heads. So glad we joined.

Fantastic experience: My children joined Bonsai Black Belt Academy 4 years ago, they have been encouraged and supported throughout their time there, gained confidence, and made new friends. I can genuinely say that this academy provides a supportive, safe and friendly environment and Sensei Lydia has built a strong foundation for people of all ages and abilities to join and learn new skills. I would recommend this club to anyone interested in learning karate.

Fantastic experience: Youngest son joined two weeks ago. Very warm welcome at each session. Great value for money. Children of various ages and abilities in group, but instruction and guidance very clear. Excellent facilities. Would recommend.
