Fantastic experience: I am a 57 year old woman working with Dan for the last two years and honestly best trainer ever. Using simple resistance exercises (body weight, dumbbells, ball, TRX band etc.) Dan has helped me safely achieve stronger core, better tone and flexibility - stretching is a vital and non-negotiable end to your session. Every session is different, keeping you interested and motivated. You will work hard, but Dan takes great care to listen and modify as necessary re: injuries. Dan will get you moving and keep you moving.

Fantastic experience: My 21 year old son did series of boxing PT sessions with Dan. When he first met Dan he said he was everything you would want from a PT instructor firm but fair and that's true. Dan is very different to the PT instructors in high street gyms. He listened and tailored the sessions to my son's ability. If you need some motivation to get fit Dan would be a great place to start.

I've been doing boxing training with him as well as a complete beginner and his teaching style is easy to follow and he has the patience to correct you and help you get better- even if you box with the footwork of a mannequin like me! Just make sure you keep your hands in the guard or he will slap you on your ribs!
Hi Steve, thanks for the kind review, You have done well with not only your boxing training but also it with the fitness testing we did last week it is clear to see that you have been putting in the work at home with the fitness and strength training programme i providd you with as well as time spent practicing your boxing training technique at home. Don't worry about the the some elements of Boxing Training you find more challenging, it is not easy and you are a lot more relaxed when you are boxing now which really helps with both your footwork, punching rate/power and overall technique.
Fantastic experience: Great trainer - love the fact that Dan uses virtually no weights (bar some dumbbells and a few kettle bell exercises - oh and the Bulgaria bag! :).Dan's knowledge is such that he can vary the training with lots of different exercises so you don't get bored with the same routine, even now, we still do things I haven’t done before. He understands how you like to work, and what you require individually, and tailors the training accordingly whilst challenging you to do the things you should be doing to get in to shape and maintain it. I have been working with Dan for around 7 years and the last three have been remotely on zoom from the U.S. We usually train around 3 times a week and it’s worked great! I have seen many personal trainers over the years but Dan has the best knowledge and understanding as to how to get you achieving your goals.
Hi Stuart, thanks alot for such a great review of the personal training that we have done together. You are a great trainee and it is always a pleasure to train you as even when things are difficult and often very uncomfortable you listen to my advice and apply it along with your own discaplin, thats why you have achieved so much. Has it really been 7 years, doesn't time fly lol. It all started off with Boxing personal training which we now have seen developed into an interest in martial arts and some great training out in the United States. Inline with this we shifted emphasis in our personal training to more strength and conditioning training which seems to have helped with your martial arts training. Although we no longer train at my studio in winkfield and have made the transition to online personal training i am really glad to hear that you are as pleased with it as i am. Well done with the challenges i gave you in January, that was a whole lot of burpees with a press up you did lol. Like i keep saying fitness ddoesn't need to be complicated and using calisthenics and a very few peices of versitle peices of equipment anything can be achieved. Well done for the hard work you have put in and now you are even stronger theres more hard work to come. I look forward to continuing along your fitness journey with you, all the best Dan.

Thanks for the review. Although we had a bit of a slow stick start you have done really well with our Booxing Personal Training sessions that we do together. You level of fitness has improved dramaticaly, your co ordination, speed and strength has improved massively too.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Dan for a good few months and intend to carry on my training into the distant future. When i first approached Dan it was for general weight loss and fitness but due to a physical set back i had Dan tailored my fitness regime to best compliment this condition. Dan is extremely skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of personal training and we reguraly mix up the sessions to include circuit training, general exercise and boxing off which all is good, fun, but hard (sweaty) work. If you are determined to make a change speak to Dan about this and he will tailor a program around your capabilities and set expectations. Dan has also helped me not just with my physical training but also has helped in my mental training as well and has gone far beyond what i ever expected of him in his support for me and total wellbeing. Fantastic experience: Dan is a great trainer. My 14 year old is learning to box with him and is getting along really well. Dan doesn't just go through the motions with each person or sticks to a fixed formula but trains the individual. He varies pushing hard when needed, trains for physical fitness and also concentrates on technique and doing it right. He is direct and expects commitment but the method works. Highly recommended and definitely worth it.

Fantastic experience: My 14 year old son started working with Dan in September driven by an interest in learning to box and get fit. From the start I was impressed by Dan’s rigour in assessing needs and objectives as well as a focus on discipline and safety aspects of boxing. Fantastic experience: I started with Dan for a boot camp kick up the backside - and that’s exactly what I got. He stands for no nonsense and if you want to change he really does everything he can to help you. I am having a great time and even though I have only been going for a relatively short time I have seen huge improvements in all the ‘hard’ exercises I have previously always avoided. Fantastic experience: Dan is the only personal trainer I worked with that knows exactly how hard and how far to push in order to get results and stay away from injuries at the same time. His knowledge of body mechanics and technique is unparalleled to say the least. I can now do press ups (wasn't able to do before I started) and I lost 10 kg in 10 weeks. That is in spit of my existing injuries (I have bad shoulders and knees) and a bout of surgery in the middle of these 10 weeks. Amazing, unbelievable progress for me! I would reccommend Dan to anyone!
Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Dan since January this year. I wanted one on one training as opposed to going to a gym as I wasn’t confident at all and didn’t feel comfortable going to busy gyms. I absolutely hated working out of any kind. Since being with Dan I actually enjoy working out and look forward to my sessions. The sessions are really varied all the time so they are never boring, and he really knows his stuff. He genuinely cares about people’s health and fitness and tailors sessions for each individual. I am 100% happy with the service Dan provides and I wouldn’t even consider going elsewhere. Fantastic experience: It’s a pleasure to write this review for Dan. Firstly I’m honestly elated that I read about his Old Skool Conditioning Training via some online research I did and I feel honoured that we have crossed paths. For me, the day we first met for a general chat was a sentimentally special day for me because it was an auspicious day in the Hindu calendar - the day that is dedicated to teachers or gurus known as Guru Purnima day. Little did I know that it was a turning point in my life and I pray it continues well into the future I’ll be honest I had a fear of gyms, a testosterone fuelled grunt pit wasn’t the place for me, but I had been suffering with some physical ailments and had never addressed the problem of becoming lazy, slightly overweight with the Asian gut, unhappy with my general fitness and a low self esteem. Now reaching my late 40s I know I’m no spring chicken but he has injected a new lease of life into me. Dan says it as it is - this is his greatest quality and he is a fair man who holds very high principles when it comes to discipline, motivation, and behaviour. I’ve got to know him a little better through the occasional extended chat at the end of some sessions and that has raised my respect for him even higher because he is a good man. For me this is important and although he praises me (for listening and following his boxing programme) it’s not the reason I respect him. I respect him because he is undoubtedly one of the greatest personal trainers and cares about making me better. His explanations are clear, his expectations of me are realistic and measured yet challenging, his program definitely works but you simply have to put in the effort and just do it! Honestly it’s as simple as that, what more can I say? I have become much more confident, I have become much stronger, I have become much more fitter and I am amazed how effective these simple exercises are with the recommended duration and frequency as suggested by him. The other great thing about Dan is that he constantly challenges me and gives me new things to learn which is great. He often says “I’ll give it to you as fast as you can learn it”. That’s a sign of a great teacher and even when I’ve failed to understand something he has shown extreme patience and then explained it the way I could best pick it up. That’s the support you need. I am eight weeks into the program and I have lost about 5 kg of weight and I just feel so much more energetic and self-confident. The boxing and martial arts skills, but especially the boxing has given me a huge sense of confidence and well-being. I am gaining strength and fitness- both are important for overall wellbeing and most importantly I’m gaining mental strength, something an Ex-Army professional like him can help to install. I can truly say I’m becoming addicted to the training because that’s what Dan has done for me. I’m in such a better place and I hope it continues because I’ve always wanted to take good care of myself but I know it sounds like a feeble excuse but I gave preferences to others and life and responsibilities just got in the way! I never committed myself to anything like I am doing now. The motivation I get is unreal. It’s such a buzz and wish you could just experience it. To achieve anything in life we have to love ourselves first and want it more than anything but being human we sometimes falter and it’s fortunate if you have a trainer, supporter, guide and friend like Dan by your side. Fantastic experience: Disclaimer: Dan’s been helping me get back in shape for around three months now; so I feel like enough time has passed to warrant a review. I assume like much of Dan’s clients, in my younger days, I was in great shape and the sound of a bleep test would make me excited, not scared! However, as the years go by, university, marriage, work, and kids, all take some level of priority, over your personal health. My once fit physique, is riddled with aches and pains. I’ve struggled with gyms, as it just doesn’t feel real enough and perhaps a little clinical. I never felt I was getting the workout I craved, but was constantly demotivated, due to how poor my physical fitness had got. I found Dan and his old-school approach and mental toughness, was what I needed; not the soft and pampered world of a Tony & Guy hairstyle PT, in a typical bricks and mortar gym. Dan took the time to understand my pain points and all our workouts since the initial session, he’s always remembered where not to apply too much pressure and build up the muscle strength. Areas of my body that were previously in pain, Dan has started the journey of building their muscle strength and the pain is decreasing. Dan does not mess around. He is a gent about everything, but he has the ability to truly recognise how hard your body can be pushed. I am very doubtful there is a trainer within our area that can develop a person, like Dan can. His military background is a fantastic grounding in developing a person’s fitness. I wanted to add that much of my training has focused around boxing. Now, I have no intention of ever entering a ring and fighting, this is just for fitness. However, the added bonus is the mental well-being that comes after each session with Dan. Whilst you’re physically spent, you’re mentally recharged. There is nothing better than pummeling something for an hour, to get rid of all your stress!
Fantastic experience: Have been training with Dan for several years and he just understood me from the word go. He got me in the right way of thinking about food and fitness. He is very good at motivating you and will say the things how they are! :) The training sessions are always very challenging and not 2 sessions are the same. He always makes it very interesting. However, if you are looking for something half hearted, then this is not for you. You will soon realise that Dan does not accept excuses. Fantastic experience: Highly reccomended. After being shouted at & verbally abused at buzz gym slough by one of their trainers for leaving by the wrong door accidentally it was the nail in the coffin for me and gyms. I had already grown tired of overcrowded, noisy, smelly gyms. That sickening incident lead to me going to train with Dan. He puts together a diet and excercise plan that's personalised to you - as everyone has different needs and goals. I chose to focus on boxing pad work. The priority from Dan is technique unlike those silly box fit classes at gyms. Yes it costs more than a budget gym but you really do get what you pay for. After a session I feel I've had a proper intense workout and I'm walking on air as all my stress has been blasted away. I have already lost half a stone in just over a month. Male, female, young or old he can accomodate you and will give you support along the way.

Dan brings has wealth of knowledge when it comes to Boxing, weightlifting and nutrition. Above all Dan is an excellent motivator and brings the best out of you. Fantastic experience: I have been training now with Dan for two months now. I still have another month to complete. When I came to Dan I had seen two other Personal Trainers. However, what was offered did not meet my personal requirements. Upon meeting Dan I knew instantly that I will start training with him. When I came to Dan I had let myself go physically for a few years. Coming from a strong full combat kickboxing background with a successful fighting record and acheiving 3rd place semi finalist at the British National Championships Dan listened to me wholeheartedly. Fantastic experience: I started training with Dan around 6 weeks ago and just about to book the next 6 weeks as I have enjoyed it so much! Fantastic experience: I had taken my first White Collar Fight in nearly 4 years at short notice and at 47 years of age needed to get fight ready and fight fit. Dan tailored my training perfectly and made sure I was ready to go on fight night leaving nothing to chance. I won by unanimous decision against an opponent 15years my junior and am still training with Dan now.

Fantastic experience: Hi just thought i would give my thoughts on training with Dan, i started with Dan this Jan 2017 as i needed to get my mojo back big time and get the weight off i had gained over the last few years and get a lot fitter, being an ex forces man i needed someone to push me but at the same time not kill me as i am 56. On meeting Dan i knew straight away this could work and wow, as it, doing the boot camp i have lost nearly 2 stone already, i have put in the training and clean eating. Dan knows how too push me to my limits and guide me into new training ideas, it is hard and sweaty and old school but for me its the best, cheers Dan the journey continues.

Fantastic experience: I ve just finished a 6 week boot camp with Dan .I had been to numerous circuit training classes and done regular gym work and also ran regularly too but couldn't lose weight.I was therefore unsure and apprehensive as to what Dan could offer .Dan was brilliant .He completely revised my gym work outs and changed my diet .His sessions were never boring and really intensive and enjoyable .Dan corrected routines which I had been incorrectly doing for years which other gym staff had not corrected .There are a lot of personal trainers about .If you're looking for a no nonsense fully supported trainer ,Dan is excellent and the right person for you .I have lost weight and my body shape has completely changed .
Fantastic experience: After an initial reticence to accept the need for someone to help me train, I was driven to realise I had hopped on-board a fitness `Roller-Coaster` not being able to train at previous intensities due to current fitness levels, and not being able to attain these levels of fitness due to work/life pressures and commitments The focus here wasn’t to lose weight, but to become leaner and recover lost elements of overall fitness. After some searching I found Dan`s Old Skool Conditioning and completed an initial assessment. This in-depth assessment covered general conditioning, nutrition, body mass elements, and my availability to train. Then drawing on his vast spectrum of fitness knowledge and experience, Dan created my unique training and nutritional plan. This intensive `fastrack` program delivered results from week one, feeling strength and endurance returning to my body, and coupled with a change of focus on what I eat (as opposed to a diet!) i found myself becoming leaner, with the pleasant side effect of also dropping weight as I shed 3lb in the first 2 weeks. My training plan toggles between a wide array of boxing pad work, speed ball, sparring and associated fitness exercises to increase muscle development and endurance whilst burning fat. Fantastic experience: I've been training with Dan for 4 months now. I signed up for the 6 week bootcamp initially, in order to achieve the fat loss results I wasn't able to get on my own. Dan gave me nutrition tipps, and with 3 sessions per week of his intense fitness and boxing training I lost 1 kg of body fat in the first 3 weeks while gaining a ton of new skills. The results and the progress I am making with boxing kept me coming back for more, so I can only recommend Dan's training regime - to anyone who wants to put in the work! Fantastic experience: I am 5 weeks into Dans training regime and l cant quite believe how much l have improved. In the initial consultation Dan listened carefully and devised a plan that, in the first instance, tackled the weakness in my core muscles and my stamina. This has resulted in much stronger core muscles and a much quicker recovery time after exercise in just 5 weeks. My body shape is changing and all without starving myself. Dan explains why he is asking you to do things and will push you only as far as he knows you can go so everything remains motivational. As for the boxing he is a master, it's lots of fun, a little frustrating but really rewarding and it doesn't matter if you don't have any co-ordination, Dan works miracles. A refreshing change from the PT's I've had in the past who stick you on a machine and watch! I also had an Achilles' tendon injury and had problems finding someone who could help me, Dan knew immediately where to start and what not to do. I highly recommend his 'Old Skool' approach.

Fantastic experience: Great local personal trainer. Flexible and works hard to create a program to fit into your individual lifestyle and work schedule, no matter how busy you might be. Dan develops your program as you progress, giving you a clear goal and keeping you motivated. I'm so glad I stared training with Dan; I've become so much stronger and he's made fitness become a part of my routine that I actually look forward to.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic personal trainer offering a no nonsense approach to getting fit and losing weight. Each session is varied to keep it interesting and also what better than being able to hit your trainer after he has punished you for a hour.... and you'll learn the skill of boxing. Beats boring treadmills every day....
Thanks for the Review, fitness doesn't have to be boring at all, i believe that if people are offered a no nonsense approach to fitness that they can enjoy and that actually increases all the components of physical fitness then they will keep it up as part of a healthier lifestyle for the long term and it is that which makes the difference.
Fantastic experience: I've been training with Dan for over a month and have never been fitter. He's a fantastic teacher and really knows how to motivate you. Outside of session the training plans he provides for you are excellent way of developing your fitness.
Fantastic experience: I have been training with dan for about 10 weeks now I was a bit worried about boxing training at first because i was so unfit and 48 years old. Dan put my mind at rest at the consultation and explained his plans for a program for me it really did work I lost around 1 stone in the first 6 weeks and have now started to tone up Dan makes every session different and enjoyable. Fantastic experience: I took up personal boxing training for three reasons: firstly as a way to stay fit; secondly as a means to avoid the boredom that comes with general exercise by combining it with learning a sport; and thirdly because I was interested in finding out what the art of boxing is all about. It's been extremely rewarding. Dan is someone who knows his boxing inside out, and is meticulous when it comes to teaching it, explaining in a straight-forward way the fundamentals of technique to a beginner like me, and also what is required if you want to improve at the sport. Some of those requirements inevitably involve working on stamina and strength, and Dan has a comprehensive set of training exercises to help you do that, none of which require the use of a gym, all of which are extremely effective. He lays out a training plan based around your own level of fitness and the kinds of exercise you might already do, tailoring it to the time you can set aside to exercise. He also provides an excellent dietary plan by looking at what you tend to eat on a regular basis and suggesting ways in which you can introduce different foods that will not only help you maintain a balanced diet, but which are also appropriate to the kind of training you're doing. His army background means he doesn't let you cut corners when training, and he will push you to test your own limits, but it's all done in a friendly and encouraging way that is highly motivating.
Fantastic experience: Dans classes are always varied and challenging. I have been to a few different boxing gym's and in my opinion is a great boxing instructor as well as personal trainer.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dan for exactly 6 weeks. I have never seen my body changes so fast in 6 weeks time. I feel that i have much more energy and healthier. My muscles are developing and I could feel that I am getting stronger, faster and better in performing exercises. You are never bored when you are training with him. He surprises you each week with different exercises. Whether it is boxing, kettle bell or circuit training, he always changing things around. The stronger you are, the more difficult exercises you will get but let me tell you, it is all worth it! I would most definitely recommend him to anyone who are still looking for personal trainer!!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Dan's boxing classes for about 2 months now and I love them. They are a whole body workout and Dan changes things up to keep it interesting. He always tries to give one on one attention to each student during the class and seems to really care about helping you improve. The classes are a good mix of genders and ability levels, so I've never felt uncomfortable going by myself to class. I also like that the classes are really not expensive at all. Since I started boxing class, I definitely feel stronger and my pushups & punches are getting a lot better! :)
Fantastic experience: I joined about a year ago and I've been feeling much fitter and more energetic since. The classes are dynamic and in just one hour you get an excellent work out. With circuit training on Tuesdays and rope skipping on Thursdays, followed by boxing practice on both days, you won't get bored and you get an all-round exercise programme. You learn proper boxing techniques from an experienced and dedicated instructor. The price is very reasonable.

Fantastic experience: I started out with Dan as a personal trainer and he was fantastic. Great at motivating and helped me surpass all my fitness targets. His goals aided in motivating me to get active and the challenge was highly enjoyable. When finances became a bit stretched I joined his boxing class, my fitness was still pushed and the group were friendly and motivated. While I missed out on the one-to-one boxing technique tuition, my fitness was kept at a fairly high level simply attending the classes.
