Fantastic experience: Had a bike fit carried out by sean. Excellent knowledge and took the time to answer all the questions i asked. My fit feels fantastic and im very happy with it. Unfortunetly the cafe was shut on the day i had my fit but i'll be returning to try as it looked class. Had a very cosy feel to it and the menu looked spot on. The bike shop had plenty of stock and also sell bikes with brands such as enve and other brands not well stocked in the UK. Thanks, Steven

Fantastic experience: Went in to have my tubeless tyres looked at as I didn’t have a clue. Had me in and out in no time. Great help. Do good brews aswell so good place to stop on those long bikes.

Fantastic experience: Booked a bike fit with Sean, we share the same condition so he’d be the only guy I’d want fitting me to a bike. He’s clearly very knowledgeable, attentive & listened to my issues. The clubhouse is a belting shop & certainly will be back again one day in the future. Top notch

Fantastic experience: I decided to take up cycling and didn’t know where to start. Luckily Sean had recently opened the leadout performance shop in Bedale so I went down for a chat. Sean was great at explaining the whole process and how they operate differently to others. The process was very simple and Sean did all the leg work. We did a fit pre and post bike build to make sure everything was to perfection. I was amazed with the bike, the level of service and the care in which all the staff provided to anybody who came into the shop. Definitely recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Got a new bike so booked in a bike fit to dial in my position - the whole process was great to go through, seeing massive improvements at each stage of the process (over 3 sessions). Sean not only used tech to find the right riding position for me, but plenty of observation and conversation to help work it all out. Really appreciate that we optimised the position allowing for my budget for new parts - got things as good as they could be, then when I could drop a bit more on new cranks etc, we then adjusted the fit to be even better. 10/10 would recommend to any cyclist who wants better position/comfort/endurance on the bike.

Fantastic experience: Leadout as a cycling hub is next level. The clubhouse has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, great coffee, delicious cakes, quality cycling gear, and a friendly team. It’s a refreshing change from the typical bike shop or cafe experience. It isn’t often you have bike shop go above and beyond to help you out, but so far that is all I can say for Sean at Leadout! Working with Sean as a coach has been a game changer for me. I've seen massive improvements in both my performance and confidence, all thanks to his ability to analyze sessions, interpret feedback, and understand body data. Sean creates tailored training sessions that balance how I’m feeling with the need to achieve the intended stimulus. What truly sets Sean apart is his understanding that not every day goes to plan. Fantastic experience: Shoe fitting. Sean did an excellent job of finding the right shoe for me at my shoe fit. The consultation was both comprehensive and in-depth, covering the type of riding I needed the shoes for and options for addressing my existing foot issues. The fitting itself was equally thorough and Sean ensured that customisation of the shoes was just right. Importantly, I did not at any point feel rushed in choosing what is a crtical piece of cycling kit. Sean is both engaging and very professional and I highly recommend his services.

Fantastic experience: Bike Fit - Brilliant experience at Leadout with Sean for my bike fit. Suffered for the past few months with some pain and discomfort, addressed them thoroughly, explained why it had happened and what we were going to do. Really knowledgeable and the most detail any bike fitter has gone into from past experience. Would 100% recommend to anyone thinking about a bike fit, it makes a world of difference and especially through Leadout with the amount of detail they go into. Coaching - Absolutely best thing I`ve spent money on in cycling. Buying new bikes/components is great but the improvements I've made on the bike from the past 10 months coaching are huge. Everything is structured, explained and there isn't anything you cant ask for. Flexible around busy lifestyle, work, family etc. The team and the community they`ve built here is great, cant recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: Sean, and Leadout as a whole, are more than just an average business. I've been to Sean a few times for some jobs in the workshop, and most recently, a full service. I've got my bike back, and it's in fantastic condition and running incredibly smooth, all for a very fair price. This was no surprise, as I know that his attention to detail is very high. I find that with Sean and Leadout, they have a far more chilled out and friendly approach, and you actually feel part of a close-knit community with opportunities to go for relaxed group rides or a coffee.

He supplied an indoor trainer at a great price and is really helpful in advising how to use it and the software to maximise it's benefits. Fantastic experience: I had a bike fit from sean, was my first ever bike it. It was a great experience, I think sean being a rider as well as a mechanic makes life easier. And his knowledge and understanding of bikes and biomechanics is top end. He was very thorough with the initial screening taking all the measurements and biomechanics tests. Before sitting on the bike he asked what I wanted from the bike fitting. Which tailored how he made the adjustments to myself. And know that I have tested my new position for a few months. Fantastic experience: Outstanding - the engagement from the coach to you, the personal touch cannot be any better. Constant constructive feedback, coupled with a depth of knowledge which is impressive, always educating me. Results speak for themselves , it’s only been a few months and I feel so much stronger already. 6 months on update. Genuinely an amazing experience. I have a very busy work/ family life style which Leadout performance have really managed my training for so well. The time and effort put in to understanding what I would like to achieve has been really impressive. The personal touch Sean gives as a coach is fantastic, his feedback is always really constructive and delivered in a manner that’s really helpful. The gains leadout has driven me to in six months are hugely impressive and numbers I didn’t believe I was capable of hitting. I genuinely recommend using leadout , after 23 years in the military and having tried lots of different coaches , programs etc, this is by far the very best results I have ever seen. Fantastic experience: I’ve worked with Leadout performance for the majority of 2022 and his coaching has been instrumental in transforming my performance on my road bike, which is my main focus and the area which my training is primarily focused towards.
