"I'm a beginner and Daire's explanations and guidance made it easy to follow her instructions. As something I hadn't tried before Daire didn't just explain movements, she also explained why and how this would help us more broadly. Would 100% recommend."
"I went to the mum and baby class until my twins were 6m old and I would recommend this class! it really helped stretch my body out gently after birth. when the babies needed me I felt comfortable to pause and settle them before starting again. I would highly recommend this class!"
"Fantastic instructor who gives very clear instructions and is very knowledgeable about what exercises will be beneficial for your specific needs. Also joined classes online and thoroughly enjoyed them in the circumstances, definitely feeling the results! Thank you."

The fitness industry often places a significant emphasis on aesthetics, with a focus on achieving a particular idealised body image. This emphasis can be seen in the promotion of sculpted physiques, six-pack abs, and lean, muscular bodies as the ultimate fitness goals. However, fitness and health doesn’t have one look and lean doesn’t automatically equal health. This relentless focus on aesthetics and short term physical goals can often have a negative effect on our exercise experience, making it more likely we give up or don’t stick to regular exercise in the long run. It also overshadows the more meaningful benefits regular exercise can have on our health and wellness.
While the physical changes may be a welcome bonus, at Happy Body we believe that the true treasures of exercise & activity lie in the profound improvements it brings to our sleep patterns, mental & cognitive health, bone strength, balance & coordination, pain or chronic illness management and aiding us to lead a greater quality of life into our later years. It's important to note that it's never too late to start incorporating exercise into your life. Even if you haven't been physically active in the past, adopting a regular exercise routine can still provide significant benefits for your health and longevity. It's crucial to recognise that exercise should be a personal journey, and everyone's goals and motivations differ. While aesthetics can be a part of fitness for some, it's essential to balance these goals with a focus on overall health, functionality, and well-being. If I had to choose one overarching goal for everyone, it would be consistency. We're all going to have periods where life might take us away from our routine but being consistent isn't always about consecutive days, but picking things back up when we can.
If you have wondered why there is a sea turtle as the Happy Body Logo, it is because Sea turtles symbolise longevity, patience & endurance due to their long lifespan and easy approach to life which perfectly represents Happy Body and my approach to health and life.

Happy Body Studio - Pilates & Personal Training: Opinions
Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Happy Body Studio. Daire is a really knowledgable instructor who makes you feel very welcome. I attend both Pilates and fitness classes and thoroughly enjoy both and feel & see the benefits. The studio is lovely and private and small numbered classes mean you get personal attention.
