Fantastic experience: I did a 6 session PT course with Simon after having my daughter in April & absolutely loved it! Simon is so thorough on doing things the right way & I now notice my technique and form so much more after his advice. A great teacher & I will hopefully be able to join some of his classes soon!

Fantastic experience: I'm a middle aged guy, unfit after lockdown. I have used Simon for over six months and have noticed a real difference. Not only am I stronger, but Simon focuses on balance and skills (such as skipping). As a result I stand taller and feel more confident. Simon has a great style, sympathetic when it's going badly, encouraging whenever it goes well. A real positive, I'd recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Having participated in team sport I have always found the gym and fitness a bit of a drag although recognise its need. Simon, in both organised classes and in PT sessions, is motivational and challenges you to improve. I have surprised myself by sticking with it thanks to his approach-serious training but with a sense of humour. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Simon is a great personal trainer, I have been doing sessions with him over last 9 months and I feel great, both my fitness and my strength have improved dramatically and I have dropped down trouser sizes! I can also skip now!

Fantastic experience: Been using Simon for a few months and have learnt many new things being able to now skip quite well being one of them and that kettle bells are profoundly evil . I use to be a bit of a couch potato if you exclude the Golf course but my fitness levels have increased exponentially so spending several hours a day with my 8 year old does not tire me out. I can not recommend Simon enough he even allows me the odd Doom bar now and again , so if you want to get fit he is your guy.

Fantastic experience: You want to feel better, stronger, more positive, full of energy? Than Simon can help here, I highly recommend him as a great personal trainer. Within a couple of months I felt like so much better and stronger and at weven obstacles at work/personal life were so much easier to overcome due to the bootcamp sessions I attended led by Simon.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Simon’s Saturday class for about a year. I enjoy the circuit format of the class and love being outside in the warmer months. Simon is really friendly and will adjust each exercise to suit each person. The group are very welcoming and we all have a good workout and laugh together.

Fantastic experience: Simon had the challenge of getting me super fit for the coming ski season. Last year I wasn’t and questioned why spend all that money skiing when your body can’t maximise the opportunity ? So, with a couple of sessions per week Simon guided me through a well thought out program. The ski season arrived and I was in great shape, thus I skied hard everyday without the dreaded thigh burn !!!

Fantastic experience: I have attended Simon's classes for a couple of months now and would highly recommend them to anyone. The classes are small, allowing Simon to focus on the individual and the atmosphere is good. Exercises are the right amount of challenging and changed to keep things interesting. After a couple of classes you can feel the result. I particularly like the focus on balance and coordination as well as increasing fitness.

Fantastic experience: Thanks for your motivation, encouragement, support, great tips, advice and useful information – it’s been fab working with you. I look forward to doing a few more sessions with you at some point in the future but for now will enjoy putting all of this into practice and smashing some of those goals !! I would highly recommend you Simon to anyone wanting to improve their overall fitness and stamina. Also the fact that you are a triathlete and have a great fitness level I never once felt not good enough or inferior – you always made me feel comfortable and good enough at my own level. Fantastic experience: Great PT sessions, the sessions are well planned and structured and having attended on a Thursday night for a number of months I can feel the benefits. For someone like me who struggles to find time to go to the gym Simon's sessions are ideal and I would certainly recommend Simon and well worth joining the groups.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Simon Phillips for several months now, in his Wednesday evening strength and conditioning group and have been very pleased with both the session content and my results. I have particularly appreciated that Simon has limited the size of the group, to ensure that he is able to give individual guidance in each exercise. Also, he is always looking to vary the range of activities in these sessions, to stretch the participants. Fantastic experience: I've been taking part in one of Simon's group fitness classes - taliored specifically for the 'mature gentleman'. Originally I was a little sceptical of getting up off my sofa and sweating amongst other men in a park (during summer). However Simon's calm yet enthusiastic demeanour, twinned with his carefully planned sessions, help to put you at ease mentally whilst pushing you physically in a way that is age appropriate. I now enjoy seeing a bunch of friendly faces each week and taking part in a well-run exercise class. And my fitness level has improved as a result. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I train with Simon on a Saturday morning and really enjoy his classes. It is a different type of training to anything else I do which is why I love it. The class is tailored to all abilities and is very much a case of working to your own ability without being judged. It has a great community spirit and is a great way to meet new people. I can highly recommend Simon as personal trainer.

Fantastic experience: Simon runs small classes which enables him to focus on the individual. This is very important to me as I want to push myself in the field of sports I mainly enjoy, but also work in other areas so as to get a complete workout. These two areas require a different level of intensity to avoid straining muscles, and personal training with Simon has worked perfectly. He also gives lots of encouragement and makes the class invigorating and fun.

Fantastic experience: I've recently started group Fitness Classes with Simon on a Saturday morning. Having done no real exercise for decades I was a little nervous about joining a class, but very glad I decided to give it a try. Simon and his other clients are all very welcoming, friendly and non-judgemental. The class I attend is perfect for individuals who are new to exercise and need guidance on how to start to get fitter in a safe way. Simon' classes are fun and relaxed and he tries to vary some of the activities each week which stops the classes becoming repetitive.

Fantastic experience: I will highly recommend Simon as a personal trainer. I have been taking part in group sessions tailored for gentlemen who haven't seen the inside of a gym in ages. Simon plans the sessions with great care taking all capabilities into account, whilst always making sure we push ourselves. I have seen improvement in my fitness levels since starting with Simon.
