Fantastic experience: Allen is a great personal trainer - I’ve worked with him for over a year, including throughout my pregnancy and always felt well supported. The sessions were always adapted to what I could do but still challenging and enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending bootcamp for nearly 2 years and never imagined I'd be able to lift this heavy. Allen and Chris are really knowledgeable, and the workouts are designed to challenge you in each session. The programming changes every few weeks, which keeps things interesting and the atmosphere is always welcoming, friendly and supportive. I highly recommend this gym!

Fantastic experience: I started lifting weights with Allen and Chris in October 2024 and, thanks to their welcoming manner, relaxed environment and all round professionalism, I now attend the gym 3/4 times a week. The guys take the time to properly coach all their members, constantly making sure your stance/posture is correct and avoiding unnecessary injuries whilst constantly pushing you to hit new PB’s! All the other members are lovely too, I’ve never been in the gym before that has felt like a big extended family/friends group where everyone cheers for PB’s! There are no egos, no posers, no mirrors - just lifting, laughs & good times. I’ve never felt better or healthier, my body shape has completely changed and my confidence is back to where it was before I had my son 10 years ago. Well done Allen & Chris - thanks for everything.

Fantastic experience: I've always struggled to stick to a steady gym routine and always felt overwhelmed and rushed at the weights section. However, since training with Allen and Chris, I've loved every week of it and have noticed such an improvement in my strength. The guys help track your progress while mixing each week up with a plethora of weights and workouts. It's a welcoming environment for all, so if you're a newbie to weight training or wanting to try somewhere new, couldn't recommend here more

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training here for the past three months, and I can confidently say it’s been a game-changer— mainly thanks to Chris. From the beginning, he’s been incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and fully committed to helping me reach my goals. Fantastic experience: I never thought I'd be looking forward every couple of days to going to a weightlifting gym, but Learn To Lift Training is great fun. Really glad to have found it. It didn't take long after starting to begin to feel physically stronger and healthier, and Allen and Chris create an atmosphere which makes it highly enjoyable. The Bootcamp is a friendly group environment, but almost feels like One-to-One training. Best of all worlds. Great fun.

Fantastic experience: I’ve really enjoyed doing the bootcamp with Chris and Allen. I’ve felt very supported coming in as a complete beginner and Chris and Allen are both very knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: Learn to Lift is a very welcoming and supportive environment to train in. I've seen a real transformation in my confidence and ability to lift weights. Before joining, I saw very little progress in the weights I was lifting, but with their help, I saw improvement very quickly. My technique and overall confidence have grown significantly, as I used to find free weights very daunting. Fantastic experience: Couldn't rate Allen and Chris highly enough. I was always nervous and lacked confidence going to the Gym before I joined Learn To Lift Training. The friendly and motivating environment of the classes changed that. Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Allen for over 3 years now and has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. A very welcoming and good vibes in the gym. The training I’ve had has been very personal and focused on using the technique then watched my weights go up and up. Fantastic experience: Great place to train! I have been training at Learn to Lift for 7 years now which has completely transformed my confidence and desire to train. Bootcamp is a great way to start out and try lots of different exercises to improve general strength. Allen and Chris are very personable and help adapt workouts depending on the individual (especially when injured…). I love the focus on technique for every exercise to ensure you are lifting safely. There is something for everyone whether looking to compete, general strengthening or additional training for sport such as rugby or hockey. You also make great friends along the way! I would not train anywhere else. Highly recommend using Learn to Lift.

Fantastic experience: I started the learn to lift bootcamp back in June of 2024, it’s been so amazing to see how much my strength has improved since! Allen and Chris are great PTs, always giving great tips and helping everyone improve! Fantastic experience: Chris is a great pt who encourages people of all ages and stages of fitness. I was someone who always wanted to go to the gym but wasn’t motivated. Now with his guidance I’m much more motivated to go to the gym and gain muscle mass which is beneficial for my whole sporting career. I also share a lot in common with him which makes sessions very easy to chat and chill and then do the work required. A great PT overall and would recommend to all.

Fantastic experience: Bootcamp is a great class if you want to start to learn how to enjoy the gym and training - it is suitable for all beginners and those who want to try something different, improve their strength both physically and mentally. Fantastic experience: Being in my seventies was always very wary of boot camp traing especially regarding the average age difference in the classes. My fears were quickly dispelled by Allen and Chris and am pushing weights I never thought possible and having great crack with all the people there achieving their own personal goals. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Learn to Lift in Glasgow. I’ve been coming to bootcamp for about six months now. I started with no weightlifting experience whatsoever and I’m amazed at the progress I’ve made. Allen and Chris know their stuff and keep us right in terms of technique and progression. Fantastic experience: To be totally honest, these are a pair of cowboys but that’s just the country music they play while we work out. Fantastic bootcamp, for someone who fundamentally hated any kind of weightlifting and was always scared of the gym Allen and Chris are down to earth, talented trainers who focus on technique rather than just a meat headed big weights approach. Couldn’t rate them any more and I’ve recommended to multiple friends. They’ve also taught me the perfect facial expressions for lifting.

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Allen for a year and cannot say enough good things. A welcoming , friendly vibe and a genuine interest in your training and wellbeing even outside the scheduled session. Fantastic experience: When I started using Learn to lift I had never been in a gym and could barely make it up the stairs, Alan wanted to meet me before we started and spent a good hour finding out what I wanted to achieve. I was made to feel comfortable as I was a bit embarrassed about the whole thing. A year later I had lost just under 2 stone, could bench press my body weight and dead lift 3 times it. It wasn't just the lifting, the nutritional side of things was great, all being suited to my body weights and goals. I feel comfortable in myself going to the gym but more importantly alott more confident in general Cheers Mate

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Chris for over 4 years now and I can’t recommend him highly enough. When I started I was in probably the worst shape of my life a year on from baby 1 and I felt going to the gym was a real slog. But the sessions with Chris were amazing and really enjoyable. I discovered I actually enjoy lifting weights! Now 2 years on from baby 2 I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been and more importantly I feel fit and strong. I would never have had the confidence to go in to a gym and start lifting without Chris so if you’re thinking about starting - do it! You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Chris for a few years now and my strength, technique and knowledge have all improved significantly since I started training with him. He’s always reading and learning about the latest developments in the industry and incorporates this into training where relevant and so training never feels stale. Chris also strikes the right balance between getting results (however you define those) and recognising that his clients have a life outside of training. Excellent PT knowledge and skills aside, Chris is professional and consistent in how he runs his business. And he’s got decent chat and is very easy to get on with.

Fantastic experience: As someone who is fairly new to weight lifting, this bootcamp has brought me on leaps and bounds. Allen and Chris are extremely supportive and adaptable to the different levels in the class. Everyone has been very welcoming and the extra Facebook page is a great support mechanism. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. I can't recommend it enough. Great covid procedures in place, sanitiser upon entry and anti bacterial spray available for the equipment.

Fantastic experience: Learn to lift training has been the best experience for me! I joined after serious illness, at a point where I was physically very weak. A year of training with Allen and Chris and I was lifting 10x what I was prior. I have grown in confidence and in strength. Fantastic experience: Since starting training with Allen and Chris I have improved my lifting technique considerably. It has only taken a few weeks with their guidance to gain more confidence in how to lift effectively and I am sure that I’ll set better PB’s in the next few months than I’d make continuing to train alone!
