Fantastic experience: My son’s been attending the club for the last 3.5 years,it’s a fab club, various classes available and always a lovely/supportive atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Whole family comes the club ranging from tigers to black stripe so we attend all the different classes available to suit each one of our belt level. Brill club, excellent instructors and very friendly/family atmosphere. We all love it.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been attending here for around 5 years and is now a black belt. This wouldn’t have been possible without Gareth the coach and the others of the academy for all the help and support. She has gained confidence over the years since joining and has made many friends, as have I with the other members and parents. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and over the years she’s been a member, the club has gained a significant amount more members, due to it being a highly respectful club that everyone here recommends to others.

Fantastic experience: Amazing club. Great instructors and a really friendly club. I have made so many friends and done so many things I never thought I could. Really improved my fitness as well. Great for the kids too., not many activities where parents and children can train together. Teaches respect, listening, concentration to name just a few. Highly recommend 5*

Over the years, they’ve gained so much more than just physical skills they’ve built confidence, strength, discipline, and beautiful friendships that will last a lifetime. This club has become a huge part of their lives. The sense of community here is something truly special. The instructors, members, and the entire environment are just brilliant. It’s so much more than a sports club it truly feels like a family. We’re incredibly grateful to be part of it. If your child/children are having a hard time at school or need new friendships I highly recommend them trying here they will never want to leave

Fantastic experience: Thursday morning adults class is small and friendly. Training at families classes has developed my children’s confidence, resilience, and self esteem. Not just a martial arts centre; we have made great friends here! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: My son and I (8 & 41) started training at the club two years ago and it has been the best decision we could have made. The culture and the standards Gareth leads are exemplary, whether you want to be a National / European / World Champion, or just looking to improve fitness and make friends there is a place for you at this club. It is a really inclusive, family oriented environment where everyone is rooting for each other and where everyone celebrates each other’s success. Both of us have found such incredible friends since joining and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Best club and martial arts around!

Negative experience: I turned up for a taster class full of optimism and excitement but that didn't last long.The students arriving there were very happy and friendly towards each other, but I was made to feel invisible, as if I was a 'nothing', very unwelcome. I won't ever go back as any confidence I had built up to try something new was crushed in a matter if minutes.

Fantastic experience: Been coming for just over 2 years my daughter started 1st, i joined soon after, we began our Taekwondo journey together Gareth the instructor is absolutely great, vast knowledge of the art, great for kids, adults and for the whole family, everyone is very welcoming

Fantastic experience: Brilliant club, clean, well equipped, the lessons for the little ones are designed the way it’s interesting for the youngest children and entertaining for parents! :) we love it and our son became much more confident as he was super shy at the beginning. Gareth has a great approach to each child and we love to see the STAR team getting involved in the lessons as well! Can’t ask for more really!

Fantastic experience: I am a member who started Tae Kwon- Do in April 1993 at the age of 16. At that time a club was situated at Prestatyn Sports Centre. The academy that Gareth has established is amazing! All students of all ages really enjoy the classes! There is a fantastic club moral cheering everybody else on in the academy and in competitions! I couldn't recommend the club enough! Individual students and families all train of all ages, so there is something for everyone! If you dont take up the opportunity of taking up Tae Kwon-Do at an academy like Denbighshires Tae Kwon-Do Kwon academy and with the excellent facilities provided then your are missing out!

Fantastic experience: We have a family membership so we can all take advantage of the lessons and facilities. Great fun, good exercise and lots of competitions for those who want to enter. A massive variety of different ages and lots of parents training with their children. I would definitely recommend this Taekwondo Acadamy.

She enjoys all the competitions that she has the opportunity to take part in. The online zoom classes have massively helped through lockdown to. Very good value for money and always professional.
