The Legion Strength and Fitness: Opinions
Fantastic experience: Great facility, with friendly inspirational owners always happy to help!
Fantastic experience: The best and most friendly gym I've been to and it is family focused. Owners are dedicated to their members always put us before them.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic facilities . The owners of this gym are both disabled but that doesn’t stand in their way of being first class coaches. They go above and beyond to encourage and respect all who come there. If you want a gym that lets you feel safe and respected this is the one for you
Fantastic experience: Inclusive gym available to anyone for all abilities ran by 2 supportive people who are always happy to help. Highly recommend to anyone.
Negative experience: Didn't use the facilities, however I had an extremely unpleasant encounter with the owner outside of the premises. Within 30 seconds of parking outside of the building, the owner came outside and proceeded to open the door of my vehicle and shout abuse at me (a lone, young woman) while my partner was in the nearby garage. He was extremely aggressive and made me feel incredibly unsafe. Apparently we were parked in the wrong place (although there was no signage indicating this); while I understand this could be frustrating for a business owner, a quiet chat to indicate this would have been sufficient rather than a barrage of abuse which left me shaken. I called my partner to let him know, and when he approached the man to ask what the issue was, he was met with further screaming, cursing, and abuse. If this how he treats people who are simply outside of his business, then God forbid how he treats anyone who may upset him within the premises. Screaming at woman who is sat alone in a vehicle and man handling said vehicle is in no way justifiable behaviour. I highly recommend anyone, particularly women, avoid this business completely.
Firstly, we'd like to apologise for the interaction you had. The owner has recently been involved in a serious RTA and as a result has suffered a Brain Injury that has affected his communication in social situations and also has physical, very visible injuries that mean "man handling a vehicle" is virtually impossible. The owners wife was just inside the door when this interaction happened and the owner wasn't aggressive when communicating with yourself but we understand that the way the interaction happened was not appropriate. We apologise again. There are also clear signs on the units indicating that it is a private car park for use only of those visiting the businesses the signs are on.
Fantastic experience: Great place to train helpful staff. Coaching available so you meet your potential. All welcome regardless of race, religion, gender or sexuality.
Fantastic experience: Brilliant set up, brilliant staff a great place for all needs.
