UK Film Academy

Fantastic experience: I attended uk film academy when I was younger back when it was call ‘young stars’ it gives me such fond childhood memories and it still gives me a sense of pride knowing I’ve got camera experience. Now, two of my daughters attend. It’s still run by Louisa who is fantastic with my neurodivergent kids. They were reluctant to attend for a while but with trial and error and Louisa’s guidance, it’s now their favourite club. They’ve performed in a show and really love acting in front of a camera, they even get to learn how to film. They’re not looking for a career in acting or film production but it’s been a great confidence booster and being around children of all ages really works for them.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been attending the UK Film Academy, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, she was welcomed into a creative, professional, and supportive environment that nurtures young talent and encourages self-expression. The instructors are not only experienced industry professionals but also passionate educators who genuinely care about each student's growth. They strike a perfect balance between discipline and creativity, giving the students the tools they need to succeed while also allowing their individuality to shine through. My daughter has gained confidence both in front of and behind the camera. She’s learned valuable technical skills in acting, directing, and film production, as well as soft skills like teamwork, time management, and creative problem-solving. It’s been incredible to see her enthusiasm grow with each session and to watch her find her voice as a young filmmaker and performer. The academy also does a fantastic job of involving parents and showcasing the students' work, which gives us a glimpse into their learning journey and the high standards the school maintains. I couldn’t be more proud of her progress or more grateful to the UK Film Academy for the role they’ve played in it. I highly recommend the academy to any parent looking to nurture their child’s interest in film and performance.
