Fantastic experience: The staff at énergie fitness are so helpful and friendly and make you feel so welcome! As someone who is new to the gym it can be really intimidating but there really is a great atmosphere there and I don't feel as out of place as I thought I would. Would highly recommend! :)

Fantastic experience: First thing first, this place, personally for me, is not only a gym where you exercise for your own benefits but a supportive community! After a year of leaving my former gym I felt absolutely rubbish, had lost shape and all the strength, was anxious to try again thinking I would be judged by a frequent goers and the opening times were the sore spot for me as I have to rely on the bus schedules and I’m working full time. Énergie fitness welcomed me with an open arms, the team is simply incredible, you can always ask for tips and help at any time of the day. Being quite reserved and self-conscious, I was able to finally relax and enjoy the training not only to achieve something better physique wise but to clear my mind after a long week. The team is always taking in consideration our needs and provide not only a great service but a new equipment, new classes and tons of support. Suffice to say, I would highly recommend this gym to everyone!

Negative experience: Watch these people they appear nice and friendly but when you have an issue the story changes. My son cancelled his membership and handed in the fob etc they stopped sending all the emails etc so you think everything is all sorted but they continue to take your money.We spoke to them and they were...oh yeah we can see you haven't been here for 4 years show us some evidence you have paid and we can see about giving you some money back ( nice staff again). Then its ...but you don't have any proof you cancelled since you did it at the gym, we can see you handed in the fob, so we are going to refuse any refund, we know someone else this has happened to so it's not a one off.. That's nearly 3000 pounds and that's only in my circle of friends

Fantastic experience: Great place to train and staff are very welcoming and attentive. You do get the odd younger clientele who sit on the equipment looking at their phones for long periods of time which is frustrating when your in the middle of your work out. All in all,great place.

Negative experience: Don’t get me wrong the gym has such good facilities, easy to get too and the staff are lovely. However I have reached a point where I cannot afford the gym anymore due to being a student and not even having a job can help me cover the costs. I wasn’t aware of the difference between the two different contracts that there was on the website and I have explained this to the gym and they have been no help at all. Now I cant pay for the gym! Whats going to happen? Am I going to get in debt as I have already received an email about having to pay ovrt £46 for one month and an administration fee what the hell!!

Fantastic experience: Haven’t attended a better gym!! Absolutely outstanding, trainers are always happy to help. Highly recommend for those who are needing that extra support. BRILLIANT!!!

Fantastic experience: Énergie is fab - big enough that there's always kit available, but small enough that everyone knows everyone. The coaches are all really friendly and fun, there is a great wealth of knowledge available. I love it - like a gym family - can't recommend highly enough!

Negative experience: Be very careful about the terms and conditions if you join this gym. They charge you an extra month subscription if you don't give them 30 days notice to quit. So a whole month of charge for nothing which is a terrible rip off. Beware of their terms and conditions. The 30 day notice period ensures a "seamless" removal of an extra £25 from my bank account - nothing else.

Negative experience: The biggest issue with this gym is the extremely loud and bad music playing from speakers in every corner. Really anyone who wants to listen to music brings their own earphones in, those who don't want to listen to music don't. But the speakers there play their rubbish so loudly that even if you are wearing earphones, you can't hear your own music properly. It also gives me a headache when I have to use a bench near one of the speakers. It makes me not want to go there anymore. If they were to just turn it down by about 30% it would be okay.

Fantastic experience: Like most of the gyms located in the town centre there is no free parking. The facilities are great, however somewhat limited during busy times! They have brilliant classes running most days and the team are great, very friendly and chatty. The pricing is good, however theres no free parking until after 7, but over all its a great gym to get you feeling and looking your best self again! ☺️

Negative experience: So frustrating and dodgy contract!!! They claim it is a free cancellation membership after your one year contract but the truth is when you go to cancel they charge you an extra month even if you give the notice one day after they cut the monthly payment they will still charge you for an extra month which they know you will not be using the gym during it!! Such a scam! Really disappointed. Will never come back to this gym and won’t recommend it to anyone. They tell you that their terms and conditions are clear but actually they will charge you a whole month worth of payment if you give the notice even one day after the rolling date!! (Not very clear on the contract) How is that right! You pay for a whole month even if you give the notice in 29 days! And they know in advance you will no longer use their facilities! Isn’t that stealing? Be careful when you sign up with this gym.

Fantastic experience: I love that I can buy a one week pass, it's really good value and handy. Staff are very nice and there is a good range of equipment. I wish that I could buy and use the pass through the ap but otherwise no complaints.

Negative experience: This gym memberships are not explained properly to university students who are first time ever away from home . They make out you can cancel your membership at any time but this isn’t true!!! Chris the so called manager puts the blame on the owners !!! Energie fitness should pull the franchise from the owners as they are ripping off students and it’s a disgrace . AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. The staff are very friendly(but not in your face), there's so much space, air con and a huge range of equipment. The space is always clean and everyone that goes is respectful. The music is always amazing. They are very forward thinking with planning community type events so there is the social element if people want that. And work on improving anything based on feedback. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: Staff are friendly and it's not too difficult to find a cardio machine. It's a bit silly that you have to pay for an additional month after you cancel, a sort of hidden cancellation fee, but just be aware of their "30 day cancellation notice period."

Fantastic experience: You will not find a friendlier, more welcoming gym than Energie Winchester. Gyms are not my natural habitat and I have found them intimidating in the past, but my worries were quickly gone when I first visited Energie roughly a year ago. The staff are the nicest people you could hope to meet, managing to be informative without being intimidating or patronising - it is clear that they always act with the member's best interests at heart, and they are what make this gym so comfortable for people of all fitness levels to enjoy.

Negative experience: Decent equipment but they run their DD through a company called 'HARLANDS'..I've had issues with this company in the past so was reluctant to join, when I tried to cancel my membership due to covid concerns the app had been adapted and the cancellation option had been moved into 'book a class' making it difficult to find, I called the gym they told me to cancel you have to go into 'book a class'!!!...I done this but the app wouldn't allow me to cancel..I had to drive to the gym and get the manager to cancel my membership, ridiculous situation and will never join a gym that operates through Harland's..beware people.

Fantastic experience: Energie is a gym the feels like home! The staff are friendly and really helpful, and they are always really encouraging and go out of their way to help you meet your fitness goals. The gym is equipped with a huge variety of really good equipment and the training space is really well laid out. The Yard classes are amazing and it's really nice to be able to feel like you are actually a part of the gym, rather than just someone who goes there.

Fantastic experience: Great place to be, friendly staff great atmosphere. Not too full on, not a nightclub with gym equipment, very laid back nice place to concentrate on training my mind through working my body or whatever I feel like exercising. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Nice staff, has the machines you want and good enough showers and changing rooms, my only complaint would be that a number of the resistance machines are one-offs so you may have to wait if someone's using one, but I've never actually run into that issue yet so full 5 stars from me, definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Great gym with very friendly professional staff. An excellent range of cardio and resistance machines with a great free weights area. During the last restrictive opening the staff were absolutely brilliant, making it a very safe and well segregated place to train. During this lockdown there are plenty of online classes and lots of communications from Mimi and her team. Love this place!

It's got a bit of everything you would need and it's in such a good location anyone could easily get there. The staff are always listening to feedback and adding new equipment when requested. Leonie, George and Chris are also amazing and so great to have a chat to if you need help or have any feedback.

Negative experience: Always it's full , you don't have space to move , very dissapointing, they let to many people to joyn this small gym, they care only about money nothing else , 1star.

Positive experience: Good gym with lots of equipment and good use of the space, the classes are full very quickly and you can only book via the app (or so I was told by a staff member). The main issue is that the club has consistent problems with water. Drinking fountains and taps are often out of order. There are often leaks and spots that are dripping. I came in today and found by notice on the toilet door thet there will be no water for the building from Tuesday AM - Friday PM. If the communication was better from this club i.e. an email to all members, a post on social media or staff telling you on the door, this could be forgiven slightly. Portaloos were made available at the bottom of the shopping centre... The WiFi, although free, barely works in parts of the gym, so I'd download any music or programs you list to prior. Otherwise a great gym!

Positive experience: Staff are really friendly, really good set up and really good variety of equipment. Really good space as well HOWEVER the members hoard spaces especially the weights area. It is almost impossible to do workouts apart from the wekeends. I only stayed with them for 2 months until COVID began. I don't think it's something under the management's control. The members just have put me off. Sometimes they crowd in one space without even working out.

Positive experience: It’s a decent gym at a reasonable price. Could do with being open later at weekends for us night owls. I quite often want to go on a Sunday eve after a weekend away but it’s shut. Hey Energie Winchester, since you’re putting prices up in January and now have all that space after rearranging the weights, do you think you could get a sit-up bench? I hate having to do them on the floor, it’s uncomfortable!

Positive experience: Definitely the best gym in Winchester! They have a wide range of equipment and I rarely struggle to go on the equipment I want to use. The staff are really friendly and approachable, they always make you feel welcome. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because it is always freezing in there! I do a lot of flexibility training and I really struggle with how cold it is, even when doing cardio I'm cold. I understand the strong air con in the summer but I don't think it is needed in the middle of January.
