Fleetwood Health & Fitness Centre

In January 2008, thanks to considerable investment from Wyre Council and the generosity of the Lofthouse Foundation and Sport England, Fleetwood YMCA installed a brand new, purpose-built, air-conditioned fitness studio with state-of-the-art equipment, which overlooks the pool hall.

In addition to the Fitness Studio, a brand new changing village with improved family and baby changing facilities was also installed. Privacy is enhanced with individual, double and family lockable cubicles and new improved showering facilities. Additionally, the disabled changing facilities have been updated to improve access further.

In addition to this, the reception and front of house areas have also been refurbished providing a more open and user-friendly entrance to the centre and its facilities.

After further investment in late 2015, YMCA Fleetwood installed state-of-the-art gym equipment including new LFConnect Technology and the new Synrgy Functional Training Unit.

Make a splash and dive into our 25 metre swimming pool fully equipped with lane dividers and distance flags. For public swimming we offer morning swimming and public sessions all day with pre-booking advised but not essential. We also offer late night laned swim.

Join us at YMCA Fleetwood for a game of badminton! All equipment can be provided if needed. Free to play for members, with non-members paying the price of half a court.

Join us at YMCA Fleetwood for junior swimming lessons for those aged 3-14 years. Lessons run Monday to Thursday, and Saturday morning – enquire now.

We have a shallow 15 metre kids pool too. Bring your favourite pool games and join us for a swim! Why not try our Fun Swim every Saturday (12:00-13:30), and Sunday (11:00-12:30), for those up to age 16, in both our 15m and 25m pools *Floats and balls are provided*.

Pop down Monday, Wednesday, or Fridays at 18:30 for trials. You must be able to swim at least 3 different strokes for 25 metres. Get involved in Water Polo! Training sessions run every Thursday from 19:00-20:30 at YMCA Fleetwood.

Opened in 2015 our outdoor seasonal paddle pool is the perfect place to spend your summer days with the kids. Dip in an out all day while going between our Splash Pad and Café for your favourite refreshments!
