Negative experience: Awful company. They would not allow me to cancel my monthly recurring gym membership without charging me extra money.
Negative experience: If you ever decide to choose a gym to use and see that it is managed by these scammers don’t bother. I went to a gym only for one month and they’re trying to charge me another 2 months fee to cancel. Whoever masterminded this business idea is nothing but a greedy scammer
Negative experience: I sustained an injury that meant I could no longer use my gym, but canceling my membership was a frustrating and drawn-out process. They initially refused to cancel and would only suspend it for two months. I had to provide proof from my hospital appointments by sending letters just to be considered for cancellation. If I ever look for a gym again, I’ll be avoiding any that are run by this company. Even after finally approving my cancellation, they tried to charge me for an extra month. I refused, canceled my direct debit, and only then did they "kindly" waive the fee. The whole experience was stressful and unnecessarily difficult.
Negative experience: terrible service, wouldnt let me cancel membership and trying to claim over £600 in cancelation fees by claiming my contract length is different to what i signed up for
Negative experience: Went on their “live” chat and they told me they’ll get back to me in 2 business days. Absolute joke.
Negative experience: Awful customer service for gym members and these guys are known for unfair contract terms that breach consumer rights, search "0bm30244" on Google and see for yourself. It appears that they rely on people not knowing their rights when looking to cancel or amend their memberships.

Negative experience: Absolutely awful customer service. Why their customer service email is called "customercare" is beyond me as they show no customer care at all. They cancelled my membership without my permission, provided no solutions or help for the situation I was in, it was like emailing a brick wall. After 5 days, I needed to change the membership I had, so their solution was no refund (having paid for a month), and to re-sign up and pay again. I went to speak to my gym and they were ten times more helpful in the space of 5 minutes than Ashbourne were in 5 days. They don't even deserve 1 star!
Negative experience: Rubbish company, incompetent staff. Don't respond to emails and don't cancel memberships when asked

Negative experience: AVOID!!! Told the gym I hadn’t paid when I had, constantly texting me and emailing me asking me to make more payments whilst telling the gym my bank had clawed the money back, even though I had proof and a receipt from them that I had paid!! Would give 0 if I could, terrible customer service!!! Please read their t’s and c’s as they are absolutely wild too
Fantastic experience: I had some personal issues and the staff were informative, as well as very helpful and understanding to my situation. I spoke with two members of staff via email and they were both polite and quick to respond.
Negative experience: 12 month subscription paid in full. Contract stated 12 months. Now I'm being bullied to pay more money even though the email says 12 months. Never use these to service your gym. They will just get you a bad name.
Negative experience: Absolutely avoid this company. If you want to get a gym sub just get a loan or something. This company hides how to cancel on purpose to avoid the inevitable losses of business. Then charges you through the nose. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Fantastic experience: Having read other reviews I may have been lucky. However, following a reluctant cancellation of my gym membership,I was dealt with quickly, efficiently and very politely.
Fantastic experience: I was looking to cancel my membership, and I was really impressed with how quickly Ashbourne were to respond and resolve my membership issues.
Negative experience: This company sends a letter to pay a membership bill but gives no option to speak to a person.
Fantastic experience: Ashbourne were very helpful and responsive to my request in cancelling my gym membership, very polite as well which is a big plus for me.
Fantastic experience: Sadly, I was unable to continue with my membership but Ashbourne responded promptly and resolved my problem without fuss. When personal circumstances change this is exactly the helpful attitude that is needed.
