Fantastic experience: 5 ***** go to Paolo (joint pain programme) he is an amazing knowledgeable instructor. He assesses everyone's needs and capabilities, and is full of encouragement and useful information. As for the admin staff, not very helpful, since joining programme, still haven't got my membership and they don't seem to care or bother to help so haven't been able to access any classes or gym so cant comment, but judging by their lack of care I won't be joining anytime soon

Fantastic experience: Book a 3 day trial at the wrong venue and when I came in i was greeted by Lily who helped me managed my enquiry. She's the definition of great customer service. Mark also followed suit into helping me with more enquiries I had about the gym and was awesome and efficient. Lucas too helped giide me to where everything was. I hope their efforts are recognised great gym too, got everything you need.

Negative experience: I Have recently moved residence and handed in my notice to Nuffield Brondesbury and they are refusing to respond, I have chased the management 3 times and still no response. I have also copied Customer relations in and they have not even bothered to respond. They are so quick to act when it is something that benefits them but when somebody is trying to leave they do not like to respond. I was ta the gym for a while and the facilties are horrible, barely any steam in the steam room and sauna is not hot. I'm not sure if i can even call the gym area a gym. would not recommend, steer away and look for other gyms. The gym group and pure gym are better value for money than nuffield.

Fantastic experience: I came for a health assessment for the joint pain programme. Paolo was excellent, however i have an issue with the admin. I applied for the programme more than a year ago and heard nothing at all, so assumed I didn’t qualify. Out of the blue I received a phone call to book an assessment. A response to the original application to say I was on a waiting list would have been helpful.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with a good range of classes, especially enjoy Germaine’s classes which are always different which stops it getting boring. Appreciate they’ve added some more lunch time classes for the working from home crew. Pool is also an added bonus and never rammed (often get a lane to self or between 2 depending on times)

Fantastic experience: Germaine's class on a Sunday is the best! He is an excellent personal trainer who always caters to the needs of his clients. He adds a lot of variety to his classes to keep them interesting and always encourages me to lift heavier where possible. I've been coming for over a year now and I can see massive improvements in my strength and overall fitness. 10/10 would recommend

Positive experience: I use the gym early morning which is best in terms of client numbers, but more often than not, there is faulty equipment waiting to be fixed. I also try not to think about the thick dust that perches on the ducting up in the ceiling… That said, my overall experience is made positive due to my lovely trainer Paulo who brings so much experience and encouragement to our sessions that I always leave in a good mood I’m also looking forward to being able to do some classes soon.

Fantastic experience: A good gym with plenty of facilities. Friendly staff and fellow members make you feel welcome. A special mention and the reason I have given this gym 5 stars is the personal trainer Yana. Yana has helped me regain my fitness and health after a serious illness a couple of years ago, with a training and health programme suited to my recovery needs. Her attention to detail is excellent and she has kept me on track with a variety of exercises including stretching, cardio and resistance training. I have no doubt Yana has played a big part in my recovery to having good health again. Very good motivator and if you are looking for a personal trainer to help you reach your goals, I highly recommend Yana as the personal trainer for you.

Positive experience: Paulo’s classes have been great for me.I feel much more mobile than I have for a very long time, it is great to find a class that specifically deals with joint pain and mobility issues.The only reason I gave 4 rather than 5 stars is because the pool class expects one to put head underwater-I can swim but get ear pain so have swapped Monday class for a Tuesday one where possible.Paulo pushes, but not too hard-he has assessed our very varying conditions/ages and needs.

Positive experience: Nuffield is a slightly outdated gym would benefit from some new equipment. Too many price increases without any improvements- not even a towel, which other Nuffield gyms provide. Also, my off peak membership costs more than others full membership - everyone seems to have different prices. Positive notes are the staff are all pleasant but the most helpful and knowledgeable is Paulo who really seems to give the place a buzz. It is noticeable when he is not there. The atmosphere is friendly lots of regulars which is comfortable. Also Gianni for Pilates is an amazing teacher, classes are always full he could do with more. In fact if it wasn’t for Paulo and Gianni I would probably move to another gym.

Fantastic experience: I want to commend Paulo Alencar's Joint Pain Management programme at the Nuffield Brondesbury gym. I started this programme last year during the very long wait for my hip replacement, and having had the operation, am now going to help with my recovery. Paulo is patient, knows each one of us and our 'issues' so he keeps an eye on us as we do our group exercises, and he also teaches us a lot about how to manage and improve our lives by understanding our health issues. Top marks!

Negative experience: Been a client of Nuffield since i moved in to London from 2018, however there is no comparison between Paddington branch and Brondesbury ( not sure about others), here is always overcrowded, showers and changing rooms always dirty, and very old ,would definitely need some refurbishment, some barley work, toilets i would avoid using as they are also dirty on busy times, staff cant be bothered if you need anything, unless you pay for the PT , if you want to use the pool you need to check the schedule as its shared with the nursery on the same premises, or family swiming, personal trainer sessions, aqua gym class, so might not be available at all or just 1 lane, sauna & steem room ok overall exept sometimes they do smell wierd, hot tub was removed, hot water and pool sometimes can go out of order for 3-4 days due to maitanance issues, no towels service available anymore since covid 19, paying 80+£ i would say you have much better value for money on other gyms , also customers service is almost inexistent.

Negative experience: Disappointing Experience and Safety Concerns I’ve been a member of Brondesbury Nuffield for a while now, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from positive. Here are some of the main issues I’ve encountered: Family Swim Sessions: The priority for swimming seems to be geared towards adults, and the schedule doesn’t accommodate families. I’ve had multiple conversations with staff about the limited family swim times, and unfortunately, the only available time for us is in the afternoon, which simply doesn’t work for our family. My child is in nursery until 6 PM on weekdays, and on weekends, the family swim session is also in the afternoon, which doesn’t fit our schedule. This has been a major frustration. Sauna Environment: The sauna is supposed to be a peaceful space, but there’s no "quiet zone" sign, and I've often had to deal with heated arguments between members about politics and religion. I’ve requested that the gym address this issue, but nothing has changed. It’s been uncomfortable enough for me to leave the sauna several times. Safety Concerns with Equipment: I was using the shoulder equipment machine and nearly injured myself because the seat was broken but still left available for use. This is a serious safety issue, and it’s concerning that equipment in such poor condition was not removed from the gym floor or properly maintained. Unresolved Incident in the Sauna: On one occasion, a customer seriously injured themselves in the sauna. I immediately sought help from staff, but my request was ignored. This lack of response and disregard for safety was deeply troubling, and I’ve saved all emails related to the incident. Closure of Key Facilities: The jacuzzi facility was permanently closed a while ago, and while I understand that some changes happen, I used to rely on this amenity more often. Its closure significantly impacted my experience at the gym, and it's frustrating that the gym has not offered a suitable resolution. Overall, I would not recommend this gym, especially for families. The lack of responsiveness to member concerns, safety issues, and uncomfortable experiences have led me to cancel my membership. I strongly encourage anyone considering this gym to be aware of these ongoing issues before joining.

Negative experience: Calling this place is a total joke—nobody ever answers the phone. It’s like they’ve collectively decided to ignore it forever. Walk in, and you’ll see why. The receptionists are too busy gossiping, scrolling their phones, or flat-out doing nothing. They clearly don’t care about the members or providing even basic customer service. If you’re looking for a professional gym, avoid this disaster of a place.

Negative experience: Sauna is always out of service, they no longer have a jacuzzi, prices are increasing all the time. No one answers the phone and cuts itself off if it rings for too long, and you have to wait ages for an email response. Been with them 2 years and they have already increased the price not twice, but 4 times!!! Not sure why because no positive changes in the gym have been made, so not sure what they want us to pay extra for.

Negative experience: Good gym, nice people, it’s what you call a “cheap premium gym”. Every year they raise the price by about 2-4% depending on how they feel like it, it’s enforced on everyone… but the quality doesn’t improve by 2-4%… Peak hours are way tooo busy these days, they need a membership cap. Not enough space for the amount of people. Gym itself hasn’t really changed in over 12 years bare a few extra pieces of kit. There’s no jacuzzi, they closed it down. Sauna is usually not that great because the door has been perm broken and depends on when they turn it on. Steam quality depends on how warm they turn it on. There’s too many class rooms but not enough actual gym floor space. Car park is usually full no matter when you go.

Fantastic experience: Been A member for many years however I felt the need to leave this review highlighting one of the many lovely staff on the gym floor. Having recently had a bout with ill health I was very uplifted after receiving a call from Paulo Alencar to check up on me and my wellbeing. While Paulo is always super helpful in the gym, I never expected this level of care and it couldn’t have motivated me enough to get better and back in the gym. Paulo you absolutely rock, I will now call you the Godfather and wish there was more people like you in this world, Thankyou!

Negative experience: Major concerns about the environment for women using the steam and sauna facilities, particularly in the evenings. Based on my experience, I would advise female guests to consider attending during busier times if possible or to be mindful when visiting alone, especially later in the day. When I emailed the site manager with a suggestion for women-only hours, given an incident I experienced, the response was disappointing. I hoped this feedback could lead to added safety measures, but instead, I was advised to visit another location that offers a designated space for women. Unfortunately, this alternative site is less convenient, and in my view, it does not meet the same standards for cleanliness and upkeep. My concerns were met with resistance, and the manager’s responses did not feel supportive or respectful. Although he noted he has sisters as an assurance, this did not translate into any proactive steps to address safety for female guests here. My suggestion to send out a survey to gather feedback from other women was also declined, despite me mentioning other female members expressing similar concerns to me on the night of the incident. I was shocked by the site managers response to this. One staff member, Grant, did handle the incident professionally by taking immediate action, which I appreciated. However, with him no longer at the facility, I feel less confident that similar issues would be handled as effectively in the future. In the end, if you’re unable to visit a different location, I would recommend taking extra precautions, especially during quieter times. Had the site manager dealt with this more sensitively, I could have felt some security but his response ruined the tiny bit hope I had that things would be made safer. I have never attended this location since and it unfortunately really set me back in my fitness.

Negative experience: For a supposedly premium gym, it is lacking in several areas. No towels for the swimming pool is a big disappointment, other Nuffields can do it so I'm not sure why this one can't. The gym is very underwhelming, a lack of equipment with machines regularly broken. Often times you have to walk around the gym looking for the weights you need. There are also a large number of children who attend this gym for some reason. The showers are also dated and not the cleanest. The staff are however quite friendly and helpful. The swimming pool normally isn't too busy at off peak times. I only go to this gym because it's the closest one to me and I get it half price through work, no way I'd be paying full price for it.

Fantastic experience: We had a change of swim teachers every few month. The lessons don’t run consistently due to teacher absence and sickness with no cover, this does not help us with our 4 year old daughter who sees changing faces and refuses to get in the pool with the teacher. Many times the classes were cancelled but we would not get informed in time or not at all on other occasions. After many months of uncertainty, Emma C brought consistency to the classes and made it fun for the kids to be in the pool. Emma made classes fun for all kids, she encouraging my daughter to swim solo with badges, games and fun play. It takes a while for my daughter to warm up to new teachers but she took to Emma quickly.

Negative experience: The staff have been unhelpful and rude, very disappointing. When I went to look at the swimming pool, the manager on site just pointed me in the direction of it, gave me no information about the set up and did not seem interested in having me pay for any classes. I booked a course of swimming for my son and wanted it to start in 2 weeks time as we were away. The person booking it couldn't alter the system, the manager to do this was away, and when I eventually spoke to someone on the phone she was dismissive and said the manager will deal with it when she gets back from leave, which is the week after. Time-consuming for me to get this sorted and it still isn't.

Positive experience: I used to be a member of Nuffield Brondesbury before Covid for many years . There was a Jacuzzi in working order and free towels to use. I joined recently again due to knee injury . I mainly swim and use the sauna and steam. The sauna was not working for a period of time and there was no towels . The showers are quite outdated and some rusty . I have been joining the aqua aerobics classes . The sound system is horrible and hurts you in the ear. In brief for the price you pay they should bring the Jacuzzi and towels back and invest in a better sound system otherwise they will be loosing more clients

Fantastic experience: We've been attending child and adult swimming classes for the past two years. We had a change of swim teachers over that time starting off with Samira and then Laura and now with Emma. After a bumpy time of missed classes and lack of communication after Laura left, things are now improving. Emails are being answered and classes are consistent. Despite the change of teachers my child has thrived in her swimming and now Emma is taking it to another level with encouraging solo swimming with games and fun play. It takes a while for my LO to warm up to new people but she took to Emma fairly quickly and is happy to go swimming by herself. Emma has also given a badge and certificate which is nice because before this I didn't know which stage my child was at.

Negative experience: Signing my kids up for swimming lessons here has been a complete waste of time and money, especially with Emma C. as the instructor. She has absolutely no idea how to deal with kids or teach them effectively, and she's constantly slacking off—always showing up late. Ever since Laura left, the entire program, from the admin to the classes, has gone downhill fast. After more than 15 lessons with Emma, my kids have learned nothing new. There are five parents in my kids' group, and we've all been here for at least two years, but after this experience, none of us will be continuing the lessons. We're beyond frustrated and deeply disappointed.

Negative experience: I don't give 0 Stars because it is not possible. So, I had a membership in this gym for over 2 years. During those 2 years they kept increasing the price but also reducing the number of machines and closing areas. Every time something wasn't working or they closed something they sent an email and sms. The only reason why I was going to this gym is because I have a back injury and I needed the swimming pool and this one was the only one close to my house. Last summer, I had to leave for three months to Spain because I had an surgical intervention and even tho I sent the email telling them with more than one month in advance they never came back to me and I had to chase them to stop my membership.They ended up charging me the money (even tho I didn't have to pay the next month). But again after seeing what just happened with them I am starting to think that it was their smart way to get the money. They have a month notice (that is what they say but is actually two if for example you want to cancel it at the end of august, you sill have to pay September and October) but if something is wrong, like for example in my case the address, magically they will not be able to contact you via the same ways that they contacted you in previous occasions. During peak times the gym is oversaturated, is not the first time that I need to leave the floor because I cannot use the machines for 15 minutes or more. Machines are out of use for (sometimes) up to a week. The steam room breaks a few times a month and the control over the temperature of the water is a real disaster. There is nobody controlling the swimming pool and because of that you have people jumping into it directly from the steam room and playing like kids, making the people (like me) that is in the swimming pool actually swimming have to leave the workout. The cleaning team is nice and they do their best maintaining the areas clean and tidy but the ceilings are FULL of mould as well as the shower head. My final point and why I won't go back to a Nuffield Gym ever again is that after giving my notice and not being charged, they got another company involved. The reason why I canceled the gym is because I moved flats because of work reasons and at the same time I transferred my bank account to another bank. Because of this, I was never charged. I've waited for 15 days for them to charge me and that never happened. They also never contacted me via email or phone. Because of this, I decided to start a new membership on another gym. Now they want to make me pay for a service that I never used. They are only after money but you will NEVER have full access to the things that you are paying for, they will never reduce the monthly price but they will still increase it and they are really dodgy on the way how they deal with things.

Negative experience: Have not been able to use the swimming pool lately. Its either down to maintenance and now for the last few days the water temperature is at 34 degrees which is impossible to do swim!!! I keep getting told when i call that they are hoping it will get better...not aceptable.

Negative experience: Absolutely awful customer service and very poor management. From an admin mistake of the team I was locked out of my account, after waiting half an hour on the helpline they told me they cannot do anything about it and will take 5 days to resolve. (?!) I can only book classes in person or over the phone, however, when calling as advised the staff member is extremely unhelpful and rude. I cannot believe I have paid so much money for such a poor service.

Negative experience: Be ready to pay 25£ for a session of swimming if You arent a member! At that Price I thought it would be a luxury swimming pool but nope, its your standard pool you can get at your local Leisure Centre for more than half the price!!!! The staff where rude at reception, lacking customer service, and even though I said it was my first time here they made no effort to guide me to the pool. When I arrived at the changing rooms I was shocked to see the lockers werent your standard ones, they had locks on them - a lock I had to purchase for an extra 5£ During my swim I noticed there where no lifeguards or staff and people where free to use the swimming pool how they wish, which meant some whete obstructing the swimming lanes. To my horror the showers whete hardly working with their pressure being clearly set at the lowest rate. I am absolutely disgusted and will not be returning here!

Negative experience: Run down gym with poor management. There is always something that does not work or out of service. Showers leak and only a few of them have hot and cold water. Cycle studio bikes are a health and safety risk. Lockers are broken with limited availability. Sauna and steam room stink. Nobody showers before using. Management do nothing to ensure any hygiene policy is enforced.

Positive experience: The gym area is nice and the staff are very friendly but for the price you pay it’s simply not worth it. I’m attending as it’s close to my house and very convenient meaning I go more often. I've joined a spinning class in VA today and th bikes and studio is at a different level! The price isn't much different. Bikes in the spinning room are rusty, a few are always broken, none of the screens work which makes it hard to know how long you cycled etc. I use the pool once a week, it's nice and off peak it's usually manageable with a couple of people on each line. Saunas are mostly broken though and very small. A lot of equipment missing that you can find on any low budget gym like a pure gym. You have to use a rusty stool or sit on the floor), no lying leg curl, no seated calf machine, no hip thrust machine. Most machines are old. I think they are the same when I was a member in 2011!! Lots of machines are constantly broken. know some of these I would expect to have these at a gym with this cost. PLEASE upgrade your machines or reduce the membership price. I really can’t find an excuse for the membership price.

Negative experience: I’ve been a member for ages here, with kids going through nursery, gym membership, swimming classes , but the staff Harsha Patel has no clue about customer service. I forgot a bike lock one time , nobody can help out , they have a locked up area where electric bikes are stored but staff wouldn’t go against policy to keep a non electric bike for once there. depressing.

I have never known anyone, not only build their confidence from scratch, but teach them technique and everything else in-between. Mind blown. Happy Mum and happy and confident 6 year old this end. Negative experience: Deceptive Contract Policies - Beware! Review: I've been a loyal member of Nuffield Health Brondesbury Gym for the past 12 months, enjoying the classes and facilities they offer. Unfortunately, my positive experience has been marred by the extremely disappointing and deceptive nature of their contract and cancellation policies. Facilities and Classes: The gym itself is good, with nice facilities and fantastic classes that kept me motivated throughout my membership. Deceptive Contract Practices: My frustration stems from the way the gym handles contracts. I signed up for a 12-month contract that was set to end on the 31st of January. However, when I inquired about cancelling my membership on the 5th of January, I was shocked to learn about the automatic transition to a rolling contract and a 1-month notice policy. Unfair Billing Practices: Despite my contract technically ending on the 31st of January, I was informed that I had to pay for the entire month of February due to this sneaky automatic renewal. This feels like a deliberate attempt to extract an extra monthly payment from loyal members. Lack of Transparency: What's most disheartening is the lack of transparency and communication about these policies. I feel deceived and frustrated by the way this situation was handled, especially when loyal members are treated as mere sources of revenue rather than valued participants in the fitness community. Customer Loyalty Disregarded: As a loyal member, I expected better treatment and honesty from Nuffield Health Brondesbury Gym. This behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the integrity of the gym's management. Conclusion: I urge potential members to thoroughly scrutinize the fine print of any contract with Nuffield Health Gyms. The lack of transparency and the unfair billing practices have left a bitter taste in my mouth. It's disappointing to see a gym prioritize profit over the loyalty of its members.

Negative experience: The gym area is nice and staff very friendly but for the price you pay it’s simply not worth it. I’m only attending this gym as it’s the only one at walking distance from my house. A lot of equipment missing that you can find on any low budget gym (pure gym, the gym, etc). No hack squat machine, no seated cable row machine (you have to use a rusty stool or sit on the floor), no lying leg curl, no seated calf machine, no hip thrust machine. Both stair masters currently broken. I know some of these are specific machines but since you can find them at any pure gym I would expect to have these at a gym that costs £89 a month. On top of that, water fountain on the gym floor is broken, alcohol dispensers always empty, no towels… really can’t find an excuse for the membership price. I’d be happy to change my review if some of these things improve but for now this gym has been a disappointment and I’m only giving 2 stars because of the staff.

Negative experience: I have been a Nuffield Gym member for 6 months with Personal Trainer paying £277 per month. I wanted to cancel the membership and confirm with the Gym personal trainer. I asked for the Cancellation on the 31st to Gym PT and he said it was too early then I reminded him multiple times; I canceled direct debit on the 1st Dec and I informed him and he said it was okay. He already canceled PT sessions but for membership, he suggested I should cancel before the 15th of the Month which I did. I canceled my membership on 10th Dec. Now called Customer Service calling me and telling me that it's not before the 15th but one month advance notice is required so they want me to charge for January too!! The way the lady named MIA on call was talking to me was very rude; wasn't listening at all and kept saying I have to pay for January!! I sent them an email with the screenshot of WhatsApp that I confirmed with my PT. She said those screenshots could be anything instead of confirming with my PT; I gave his name too!! If they are not in sync with their Gym staff; we have to go through the pain!!! My PT agreed that he did not know there was a one-month notice required and hence, I was misinformed but the general manager of the Gym didn't agree and I had to pay an extra month despite following the instructions from the person I should been trusting as I was working with him every day.

Negative experience: I have been in a few NH in central London which are generally well maintained. I was really disappointed with this gym - the male changing is run down, the showers leak and there is mould everywhere. Toilets dirty at 7.00 am many lockers broken. Pool is ok but lacks basic things like signalling flags for backstrokes and training equipment (pullbuoys etc) also towels are not provided. NF membership is pricey and If you want to join this particular club is not worth imho.

Negative experience: I have been a Nuffield Health member for nearly 8 years now. I used to go to the Covent Garden one for the first 5 years and I absolutely loved it. Sadly after the pandemic, I don't work in central anymore and had to relocate to this Nuffield Health. It has slowly deteriorated from average to bad to worse. First they had a tumble dryer to dry your swimming trunks, towels etc. They got rid of it cuz they were trying to be "green", then they got rid of the small plastic bags they had for your wet swimming trunks, again cuz they're trying to be "green"! They have stopped providing towels since the pandemic, so I have to bring my own now for showering and I would use their blue roll to wipe any sweat during working out and a few weeks ago I found out that they have stopped providing blue roll as well, so you have to bring 2 towels with you now, one for sweating and one for showering. They have permanently shut the jaccuzzis in all Nuffields to save on energy bills and the machines are literally from 2010 if not earlier. So no tumble dryer, no plastic bags, no towels, no blue roll, no jaccuzzi with a higher price than what I used to pay before. They might as well get rid of the pool, sauna and steam, charge 20 quid and call it a Pure Gym or something. I understand these are very small things but it is these small things that help to build a better gym experience than say the one at The Gym, or Pure Gym, etc. Otherwise what's the point? I would much rather they had doubled the membership price and kept it at a high standard than this! Just look at David Lloyds down the road!

Negative experience: I have been using Nuffield gyms for a long time now. However I had never been to this one before so I thought I give it a try since I have recently moved into the area. God oh god this is bad. The minute I enter the premises the receptionist pulls her face at me and tells me to wait because she’s busy but I don’t get what’s more important the customer? Or whatever she’s doing on her phone. Anyways after 5 mins or so of waiting she asked me how she can help and I asked her if I could get a day pass so I can try the gym. She immediately refused saying that their facilities closing in 10 minutes even though it’s 8:40pm but on the website it says they close at 10pm. At this point I asked her if should could atleast give me a tour because I have moved new to the area and looking for a gym unfortunately with a rude manner she refused saying she won’t be able to do that since they are closing in 10mins. Overall from reading the other reviews it’s as if god was trying to save me from this filthy gym and rude staff.

Fantastic experience: Lots of bad reviews on here, but I’ve never had a bad experience. The gym is nice and clean, with a lovely swimming pool and lots of equipment. The sauna and steam is a great bonus. I’ve been to a few other gyms in the area and this is by far the best, especially if you plan to swim and use the gym.

Positive experience: Very decent gym although would be even better if they provided towels and the jacuzzi worked and they closed half an hour later. Currently gym facilities close at 2130 during the week and 7.30pm on weekends. Harsha and Tariq have been excellent and Nuffield are lucky to have them! They provide fantastic customer service.

Negative experience: Worst service I have ever experienced. Members of staff completely clueless,I spoke to Urike, I was shocked to hear someone talking to a customer in that way. We have been trying to book a child swimming course and after waiting 3 weeks for the *manager* to reply to our email we are still calling every Saturday to get the child do the class. All they can say is we are waiting for our manager. We are all safe hands here!

Negative experience: I called to enquire about swimming lessons. The guy had no knowledge of this and asked me to email management but didn’t spell the correct name so the email bounced back! I mean if the website says to call what’s the point if they refer you to an email address. Better off putting that on the site instead. Customer service is poor so won’t bother getting in touch for lessons. I will go else where.

This Nuffield branch is the worst one, They say if you stay more than 3 hours then enter your car reg but still issue parking ticket, I proved that I had used the gym with the hours but still didn’t reject the ticket stating that it’s already issued and it doesn’t matter whether you used the gym or not.

Negative experience: No Jacuzzi in October and now Jacuzzi for the whole November probably, I will keep u posted ... May 18, 2023 ... I've just received a response from your customer team. Over six months to fix the SPA? I find this unacceptable. The SPA was the sole reason I chose this gym, and without it, there's no justification for my continued membership. Moreover, I received a letter from a debt collector due to my decision to stop paying your membership... you must be kidding me to ask me to come back, are you out of your brain... stay away .... far awayyyyyy.. refund me for at least two months of membership, if not three, then we can talk....

Negative experience: I've been a member here for many years now and it has consistently become worse. Dirty changing rooms and bathrooms, no towels (buy one for £8.50). Broken lockers, broken gym equipment, jacuzzi has been closed due to energy costs (yet membership fees are still high). Reception staff allowing their friends to just walkthrough and use facilities (as overheard several times). This gym used to be good, the problem isn't the gym itself... its the clueless management who runs this establishment allowing everything to degrade.

Negative experience: Been to a few Nuffield gyms (Moorgate, Cannon St, Bloomsbury) and they are "decent to good". Sadly this is not up to standard...toilet area roped off so no toilets (or sinks!) in the gents. So other than the obvious also can't shave, wash hands, flip flops, trunks etc. Gym looks tired, lots of mould in the showers and some of them don't work. Needs some serious investment.

Negative experience: Small gym area, but good energy and friendly members. Sauna is only ever warm since I've been going there and steam room is inconsistent, great at it's best, but most of the time steam disappears completely.....

Negative experience: Absolutely ridiculous, broken down facilities, closing down early, kicking people out of the pool due to "rota errors", rude deputy manager absolutely clueless about what is happening on site. First week of membership and not impressed by how it is run. Classes taking whole facilities scheduled for the most busy times of the day, dry sauna broken, steam sauna not working properly. Not value for money, not as advertised and wasting people time with errors!

Negative experience: The official closing time is 10 pm on week day but the won’t let you in at 9:30 pm. And at the weekend, the official closing at 8pm but they will try to close at 7pm. I will join another more welcoming gym very soon.

Negative experience: I have been a member now for a while, and the showers by the pool are STILL NOT FIXED, even though I have reported it countless times, NOTHING! There are 2, one of them the knob doesn't turn, so it's constant hot water. The other one turns, but the water is constant cold, and nearly everyday there is something wrong, no jacuzzi, no pool, sauna or steam room is out, and nearly all of the showers in the men changing rooms are either leaking, or impossible to get the right temperature water! As for the lockers, DONT GET ME STARTED ON THEM, half of them are broken, and the ones that do work, the locks are dodgy! I was at the gym today and about 6 machines were not working. WHAT EXACTLY is our membership money going on??? Might I add, it's by no means cheap gym and yet you KEEP RAISING THE MEMBERSHIP FEE, FOR WHAT??? Why should i pay for something I am NOT GETTING??? Maybe I should stop paying till you have all these issues fixed FIRST, but ofcourse you will be so quick to cancel my membership! THIS IS A JOKE! I am sick and tired of reporting it and NOTHING IS BEING DONE! I would give it a ZERO if I could, fed up of it, really sick of it! SORT IT OUT OR I FIND ANOTHER GYM! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I will take this further if I must! Or better still, refund the months when I have paid for the services but did not recieve due to your incompetence of fixing the issues!

Positive experience: Opening hours are incorrect. They claim they close at 22:00 (mon-fri) and 20:00 (sat/ sun), however they kick you out 30 minutes before this time I asked why the closing hours are wrong, and they say that they aren't wrong as they close 30 minutes early so staff can go home at the closing time Not sure why they advertise the time staff go home. I don't really care when staff go home. I want to know when i can go to the gym. Strange

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the gym, been using their services for over a year now nearly two. They don’t provide towels as due to covid, the changing rooms are always cold after coming in from swimming (no heating). There are not enough machines, and the ones they have are old as the building itself. Not to mention, they sent me to a bailiff for £60 (one months membership fee) even though I called and told them there would be a delay this month due to financial struggle barring in mind I owed them £135 previous to that due to medical leave and paid with no problem on my next visit, this time around they legit sent my details to a collection agency, without emailing or calling me to discuss prior to this… and I’ve been waiting for a response back from the manager since the 16th of December 2021. Don’t know what it worth £60 pm very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a gym and found the reviews here too worrying but eventually decided to go and see it myself, the staff were helpful and kind, I'm mainly interested in the pool so my review on that is great, it's clean, not too busy, the lockers are clean too. I don't know about the gym or classes but I do recommend the pool. The price is a bit expensive but personally I found it worth it compared to other local pools.

Negative experience: The only reason why I am paying for that gym is because its local and in walking distance to my place. 60£ a month for a gym that more than 60% of equipment are treadmills. Lack of basic equipment, cable machines consistently broken with waiting time for them to be rapair few weeks. No rotation of machines, 3 years the same. Every second locker is broken. Not worth 60£ definitely.

Negative experience: Not very good instructors. One of instructors Pietro in very rude and disrespectfull manner denyed entry due to 2 minutes late for the start time. There was no issue of much lateness . He explained in a rude manner : He is not "entiled by law" to let me in to a class. I traveled a while to be on time at the site. Demotivating unwelcomming and unprofessional. Membership is pretty expensive, instructors arent any good, and there is not many classes in all weej at all. Higly unrecommended
