Negative experience: As a corporate member I decided to give a try to gym and I was surprised to see the hygiene in this gym being so poor, nothing is wiped before or after use, and after getting an eye infection from the swimming pool, I have decided to avoid this gym. Health is a priority and hygiene is a very important matter.
Fantastic experience: Great gym and has got pool and sauna. Roselyn de roxas who worked at Ealing Broadway nuffield has been super helpful and friendly helping with processing of my membership card and as well great customer service. Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience: I have been using Nuffield Ealing for a few years now. I love the variety of classes they offer, specially the yoga classes. Amazing instructors. Staff is friendly and always very helpful. Highly recommend using this gym.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a Nuffield member for over a year and have been to the gyms in Moorgate, Barbican, Fulham, Brondesbury and Ealing - this gym is for sure the best in town! The gym area is always neat and tidy, facilities well maintained with good ventilation. Great variety of the classes (wasn’t expecting to have salsa classes at the gym!) The swimming pool is very clean and unlike some of the greasy ones I have been. Both changing rooms are equipped with nice sauna and steam rooms. But the best is the service - you get free guest passes when you join and you can bring guests in for free on Fridays! Special shout to Aaron, Sam, Blue and Sue for being super nice and patient, facilitated my parents’ guess visits (they don’t speak English) and made us feel welcomed! Thanks for the fab work and I look forward to coming back tomorrow (already coming everyday :))
Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. I initially went in to look at the facilities, which are great. There is a good sized pool, a sauna and steam room as well as the gym floor. Men's and Woman's changing rooms are separate which is extremely helpful and unlike other gyms. Staff are always super nice, especially Roselyn, who is the sales associate who signed me up! Super accommodating, and would recommend to anyone who is starting out or in the midst of their journey :)

Negative experience: Was going to join but seeing the steam room, is not worth the money over priced, when using the steam room there's no steam such a weak machine they installed, also the steam machine meant to be placed at the bottom but its placed midway near the ceiling so all the steam goes right up top well barley any steam, they need to install a proper commercial type steam machine in there,it's a shame such a big place n the spa facilities are weak
Negative experience: Unfortunately, it would seem that the gym is oversubscribed , rendering it almost impossible to book any classes, even during typical working hours. When I have attended classes that you need weights for, weights have run out. The equipment in general is second rate and the changing rooms are poorly maintained. The showers are filthy and some gym members think that the sauna is for drying clothing. The member areas offer nothing beyond a few sofas. Overall a not so nice experience, and certainly not at the normal club rates. Only consider if the location is perfect and you are getting a discount through work. Personally, I would never be a member here again. Furthermore, despite me being on a rolling 1 month contract, and officially terminating my contract (which also includes my son) the gym continues to take monies out for my son's membership (which is comical as due to his age he is not even permitted to attend on his own), and is ignoring my emails, which I have now been sending to them for over a month. They have also not adhered to their own policies on contract terminations on other fronts. Extremely poor customer service throughout.
Fantastic experience: The best gym ever..
Negative experience: Rory/trainer is obnoxious & mannerless. He enters a studio while others working out, blasts music on the studio's sound system(while no class) at such a high volume that others trying to work out are forced to leave. He ignored the requests. Other instances as well, areas for his private sessions, even though no one is allowed to hoard spaces like that.
Fantastic experience: Attended the Joint Pain programme in Ealing with Mark, who was very helpful and supportive. The programme enabled me to gradually push past the pain to improve my flexibility and overall fitness in a comfortable and friendly environment.
Fantastic experience: Classes & instructors are brilliant with a great variety to pick from (would be nice to have more classes at 6:45 but that’s just me being picky)! Staff are always very friendly and accommodating. Love the sauna and steam room also.

Fantastic experience: To be honest, I am not a gym person but was advised by the doctor to join a gym and strengthen bones. Roselyn very kindly gave me a tour of the health club, I had a free induction booked in for an hour which was very helpful. I have been gymming and swimming twice a week. The facilities are quite good and the staff is very helpful. A pleasant place to be!

Negative experience: I’ve been trying to join Nuffield Health Ealing for over a week now, and the experience has been incredibly frustrating. Despite multiple attempts to sign up, it seems almost impossible to become a member. The service has been poor from the outset—something as simple as joining should not be this difficult. I’ve called several times, including twice today, and no one picked up. There has been no follow-up or communication. Given how inaccessible the gym has been even before becoming a member, I’m now seriously concerned about how the service would be if I did join. I’m deeply disappointed and, based on this experience, I’ll be reconsidering my options. I’m also inclined to share this experience more widely, as it reflects poorly on what should be a professional and welcoming service.
Negative experience: Hygiene of the swimming pool has improved, but women's shower still have lots of black mold!!
Fantastic experience: The Ealing club is a perfect example of how to create a community club with a sense of belonging. Management are terrific, and it’s the best club for group exercise in all of London.

Fantastic experience: Nuffield is a great place to exercise to music, have brilliant instructors and Les Mills programmes makes the whole experience very enjoyable. There is also a great space to workout on the gym floor as well as a swimming pool. Highly recommend as the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic experience: I really like the Nuffield Gym in Ealing. The staff and members alike are extremely friendly and welcoming unlike any other gym I have belonged to in the past. The personal trainers are very good and very knowledgeable and professional as well as being likeable people. The classes are excellent - I am a big fan of all of them but in particular Ella Aziz’s Bodyjam which is so much fun! Thank you to Roselyn de Roxas for being so helpful when signing me up!

Fantastic experience: Nuffield ealing is one of the best gyms I have ever used. The quality of classes is spectacular- teachers are inspirational and trained to a superb standard. I haven’t needed to pay for a personal trainer since starting exercising here in 2010 because the class teachers are so effective. And the e members are very welcoming and inclusive.
Fantastic experience: The joint health course I attended was excellent and encouraged me to try out many different ways of keeping moving and exercising. A relaxing swim in the pool was always a great way to finish off any exercise.
Fantastic experience: Roselyn truly is a breath of fresh air. She has demonstrated genuine care, empathy, and remarkable patience. Recently she helped me sort out my app, and I found her guidance incredibly useful. I’ve never encountered such exemplary service from anyone at this gym before as a member for 2 years. Unlike some of the managers here. If only the management could take a leaf out of her book!
Fantastic experience: Is almost a 2nd home for me and I really love the vibe at Nuffield Ealing. It has a really nice atmosphere both with the members and the super friendly staff. As well as a great gym I would highly recommend for the classes. Not only do they have a vast selection of different classes but they are just great fun. All of the trainers are always willing to help and create a welcoming atmosphere but I have to name drop here. The group exercise manager Nasreen is quite simply on another level. She is the most upbeat, friendly and bubbly person and does numerous classes almost daily. She literally keeps you coming back because of her energy and motivation. A true inspiration. Genuinely I can't give enough praise to the gym and the staff here.
Negative experience: Extremely pricey, dilapidated and comes with a very heavy dose of management neglect towards paying customers. I had to update my review from 7 years back to display the new reality. I'm still an active never here but that's merely because of the swimming pool. The gym has literally fallen apart from the equipment perspective. Floor staff are nice but management is completely apathetic. Even the heating and air con don't work here. Writing to Nuffield Central management or talking to anyone at local management is completely useless. Good luck on getting a reply. There's literally a new better and cheaper option on the first floor here (Pure Gym). Give me a swimming pool and I'll gladly jump ship too.
Fantastic experience: I joined a group of people who had been offered sessions to help people who suffered from pain for various reasons. The offer was to see how we could overcome and work with pain by using the facilities provided by Nuffield, the offer gave us 6 weeks, with help with a personal trainer, Mark, to show how the facilities could help you use the equipment so that you could get motivated to get fit in a way that includes helping with pain. I now have a pass for free entry which will be valid until I have been with Nuffield for 6 months. Mark was particularly good, had empathy with the group and understood their individual needs and was a good listener. I feel more motivated and besides using Nuffield, have joined another group with stay active which has been a bonus and helps me to feel better about myself. Thank you Nuffield.

Gym facilities are excellent and cover everything from pool to classes, sauna and the floor with usual equipment. Central location and a really good vibe. Not too busy and no loud music etc
Positive experience: Mark introduced me to the gym as part of the 12 week manage joint pain. The gym is clean, plenty of antiseptic wipes to clean each machine. Mark took us to various machines and carefully explained how each one helped our joints. He showed us how to use each machine safely, demonstrating each one. He monitored us making sure we were all safe. This made the gym come alive for me - thank you Mark.
Fantastic experience: I don’t usually go in for writing reviews, but I felt I absolutely had to, as I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the level of care and attention we’ve received at Nuffield Ealing. I can honestly say, I’ve not experienced customer service like this in ages. A massive thank you to Roseline, who really went the extra mile! She even showed us where to find the parking ticket machine at the shopping centre! So thoughtful. She also sorted out guest passes for my husband and the kids, along with several other lovely gestures. Her care and attention have been nothing short of outstanding. Positive experience: Ealing gym is not the most inspiring of venues, especially when the weather is very hot and the air conditioning is not working which was my my experience. This said, the help and attention received from Mark Brock was both helpful and confidence building. My fitness level improved and I'm sure the advice given helped with successful recovery from my subsequent knee replacement operation. The exercise programme was guided appropriately according to each person's individual needs and no-one was pushed harder than their capabilities. Definitely worth trying.
Fantastic experience: I'm new to the whole gym thing and I'm having a fantastic time. This gym is seemingly never very busy. The facilities are fantastic, everything is clean and in good repair. There's lots of weights, mats, floats, and machines for everyone. This has also been my first time using both a sauna, and a steam room, which has been a great experience. If I was going to make one complaint, it is that I'm not a very strong swimmer and it gets hard to swim in the small pool when there are stronger swimmers there making currents in the water. Hopefully as I train my swimming more this will become less of a problem. Can't wait to go back.
Fantastic experience: I joined the Nuffield Joint Pain Management programme in May under the friendly tutelage of Mark Brock. I have found him to be a great source of information and inspiration and am considering extending my membership when the programme ends in November. I have found the other staff members to be very helpful as well.
Positive experience: Nuffield Ealing feels more like a health club than a typical fitness centre or gym. It’s seldom overcrowded, creating a relaxed and enjoyable workout environment. The gym is well maintained with a range of quality equipment, pleasant members, and the staff are diligent in keeping the space clean and hygienic. However, the air conditioning could drastically be improved, and a more efficient system would be much appreciated. Despite this, Nuffield Ealing remains an excellent choice for a well rounded, pleasant fitness experience. I recently had the pleasure of working with Mark Brock, a rehabilitative specialist at Nuffield Ealing, and I can confidently say he is outstanding. His personal experience with rugby-related injuries, coupled with his extensive credentials in sports science, gives him a unique understanding of physical rehabilitation. Whether you’re a young athlete aiming to return to peak performance or an older individual seeking gentle, effective recovery, he tailors his approach with exceptional precision and care.
Fantastic experience: Since I started the Join Pain Programme, I have been very well assisted by personal trainer Mark Brock, who has specifically designed physical exercises to improve my muscle and body mobility. Fantastic experience: I attended Nuffield in Ealing as part of the joint pain rehabilitation programme, and I can’t compliment the service enough. The rehab specialist, Mark Brock, was absolutely fantastic, giving a great level of care and instruction to everyone involved, displaying excellent knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, and tailoring the exercises to accommodate everyone’s requirements. The programme really helped with my chronic pain condition, and helped me achieve much greater levels of fitness and flexibility than I had been able to manage previously. The gym itself is fantastic - excellent equipment and facilities, and a really friendly and welcoming vibe - which, speaking as someone with mobility issues, isn’t always easy to find. Fantastic experience: My mum and I took a tour, and she signed up last month. I absolutely love the environment and atmosphere. Mum is really enjoying the pool and aqua class, and everyone has been so friendly. Fantastic experience: I have used the Nuffield Gym, Ealing for a Joint Fitness Programme and it was very good. The instructors really know their stuff and the general facilities, pool and gym are excellent. The equipment is up to date and is well maintained. All the staff are friendly and it is a nice place to go. Therefore 5 stars from me.
Fantastic experience: I have been a member since May 2024 and I absolutely love the gym, the staff, varieties of equipment. The personal trainers are absolutely phenomenal and will go above and beyond to help to meet your needs. Big shout out to Mark who is absolutely amazing and really helped me to improve my physical and mental health. Cannot thank him enough. Also a massive thank you to Raphael, Rory and James. Fantastic experience: I used to be a member at Gymbox, and while the classes were cool, it was always such a nightmare to book anything!!! Like, seriously, I could barely even get into a class even after months of trying! It's useless signing up with them!! I’ve been at Nuffield Ealing for 3 months now, and I am really lovin it! !The vibe here is just so much better than Gymbox, and the staff are all super friendly and welcoming. Plus, the classes are way easier to book, and all the instructors are so lively and friendly! I was alao surprised by how massive it is inside! It's way bigger than it looks from the outside. The spinning studio is beyond classy, and honestly, it's probably one of the biggest I've ever seen in London. I love the spa facilities as well! My only tiny complaint is that they don't have a jacuzzi, but overall, Nuffield Ealing is surely worth every penny!!
Positive experience: Great club, the classes are amazing and create a lovely inviting community here. The front of house staff are always really helpful with any queries I have. Friend Free Fridays are a lovely perk to bring my daughter for a steam. I do want to say the fridge in the reception area is extremely loud and unsettling to the atmosphere of the gym, and has been for the last year.... getting this sorted would make for a 5 star gym.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for a number of years now, the club has improved a lot since the new management took over. I was shocked at the review score, but many of the bad reviews seem to be from a while ago. The new staff are friendly, the gym floor and pool is relatively quiet which I like the most. And they fixed the air con, which was an issue for years with the old management team. One suggestion I’d have would be to add a boxing rig (not ring), or a better punching bag, your club has the space for it and a number of people have asked for it.
Negative experience: For the price they charge it's shockingly bad value for money. The facilities are pretty basic and limited in number. Hardly any staff around and the ones that are don't seem knowledgeable. I joined last year, went once to workout and then cancelled my membership. They're going to be blown out of the water when PureGym opens next door.
Fantastic experience: I've been using Nuffield Ealing since February 2024, I was previously here when it was Holmes place and then virgin gym, I haven't been to a gym for some time, the staff are so welcoming and approachable. The personsl trainers are absolutely fab. I use mostly treadmill, cross trainer and rower, I have sampled classes, and at the end of each training session the sauna and steam room are just perfect. I've never had issues with equipment or the sauna and steam. The gym floor and changing rooms are slways clean. I love everything about this gym and the APP is so easy to use to book classes at my home gym or any other location.

Negative experience: During lockdown I had to endure the longest periods away from my workplace (BT gym was a Nuffield Health Corporate Gym in Central London). So my membership to this club was free and was important for me to keep in shape, remain positive and confident in what I would do should I be summoned back or not. The issue lay with the attitude of some of the staff and some members who chose to converse, gesture and behave unprofessionally behind my back simply because I was recognisable locally as a self employed PT, they didn't know about my City job, they never asked and I never told them as everyone deserves to be a customer. I posted some content of me working out in the gym and also expanded on filming from my home during the hardest lockdown 1.0 as restrictions prevented us from doing our jobs as we would love. My presence online was growing and I think that roused some of the PTs, yet nothing was discussed. I felt animosity from those that saw me teaching a class once a week on Saturdays in Walpole Park. I was fully licensed to do so with Ealing Council, all fees paid, risk assessments approved etc so could not understand their issue as I did not promote myself in their facility, only clips of me doing a few reps, nothing more. I think some of these staff members were disgruntled with the impact that my licensed park sessions may have had on them using Walpole Park as some of them were moonlighting in their spare time and my presence marginalised their ambitions due to an increase presence of park wardens checking licenses. I did not have to reveal myself as a Nuffield staff member, the whole idea was to remain anonymous and be treated with the same respect that any member should get, sadly they failed to maintain professionalism. They were jealous of my situation, one that they did not fully understand. Simple conversation would have helped and the club had got it absolutely wrong when it came to understanding its members and building relationships. Having moved on from both the club and the company, based on this experience, it really needs to do better if they are to retain loyalty from both colleagues and members.
Negative experience: Been a member for few months and before i joined my first question was if they had decent aircondition as i know from experience most gyms save money on it. I was told yes! Its 30 degrees in london for weeks now and the gym has ZERO Ac going. I just dont feel like going there even tho i have to follow my training plan, after 10 minutes workout its like a sauna. Absolutely disgusting! I will definitely wont be renewing my membership. Top of this, dirty old changing room, no aircon either. Looking at reviews here Ac and cleaning complains been on for a year and nothing has been done, same ignorant lazy answers to everyone. When i told staff in reception got ignored big time. Head office didnt reply to my email for a MONTH. I will rejoin Gymbox as soon as my membership is done here, this place is ridiculous for the money theyre asking.

Negative experience: The staff are pleasant enough and it's friendly. The PTs who work there are brilliant. But the place needs an upgrade and the air conditioning is non-existent. It's soooo hot that I can barely cope. Today was the hottest day of the year and the air con (which is generally rubbish anyway) wasn't on all day, so by the evening it was boiling. I've complained so many times. They've taken away all the freestanding fans too, so it's unbearable. The equipment is okay although the rowing machines need repair. I really like the friendliness but the air conditioning is so bad I'll probably have to leave. It's certainly not worth the price. And I get a Blue Light discount, so full price is a total rip-off.

Negative experience: Great gym, nice staff, good equipment. However, I have had my wash bag taken out of my gym bag. I have heard rumours there is an issue with theives and now experiencing it myself. More of a pain than a problem because its simply a leather wash bag and some colonge and deodorant.

Negative experience: I have been a member of this club for many, many years even going back to when it was Holmes Place. The club is friendly with a varied and diverse membership but in recent years standards have dropped dramatically whilst prices have increased The swimming pool, along with the steam room and sauna are frequently closed at short notice for one reason or another sometimes even without notification. Even when the pool is open it’s often filthy - I’m a regular swimmer and frequently notice the same dirt and debris day in day out - items like such as disguarded bandaids, verucca plasters, disintigrated tissues, toilet paper - the worst thing is having to extract long hair from the back of my throat because of poor filtration - there is always some excuse for the lack of pool cleanliness such as cleaning equipment not working etc The fabric off the building itself is also in disrepair and the chronic lack of ongoing maintenance is evident on every visit. The shower facilities, toilets and changing rooms are of a really low standard and I definitely expect more for my high monthly fee. Most of the staff are friendly although it is frequently impossible to get through to anybody when you call - I tried repeatedly for about 30mins recently and ultimately gave up. I would be sad to relinquish my membership at Ealing but with standards now in free fall I may be forced to do so. Im so disappointed at the decline of this once pristine well maintained faciltity - there’s no way I could recommend it to others considering gym membership

Positive experience: Generally a good gym with good facilities, a nice pool and plenty of classes. However there are a few areas that could be improved: - Bring a Friend Friday is a nice idea but is causing overcrowding at peak times, particularly in the pool - The whole place is in desperate need of a deep clean and a repaint - The cleanliness in general could be improved, particularly in the bathrooms and showers - Often problems with air con not working, pool temperature too hot, saunas not working etc - Surprising that there's no cafe or towels for the triple figure monthly membership cost In general it's a good gym and has everything you need, but it needs some TLC.

Negative experience: Overpriced for the level of quality, the staff are extremely nice. However, the machines are very limited, often large queues for a single machine especially when busy. Very dirty and unhygenic and places are often broken

Negative experience: Cancelled membership Not a good gym. It promises a lot but doesn't deliver. No air conditioning, stuffy in the main gym and this was in the winter. Cannot imagine how it would be in the summer heat. The female toilets were filthy and STUNK! Colour scheme made me feel like I was in a hospital. Nothing about this gym made me excited to attend it... and it ain't cheap either! Please don't waste your money. Really wish I loved it

Negative experience: I just cancelled the membership an hour ago. I joined Dec 2022. Poor management. Steam room is often broken down. Sauna does not heat up properly. The air con in the gym floor is a "disaster." I wish I could recommend Nuffield Health in ealing. All the best & happy new year

Negative experience: Unfortunately the swimming pool is not hygienic enough! The ladies shower is smelly and disgusting! Rowing machine was sticky! This branch needs a proper hygiene cleaning!staff are very nice and welcoming.

Negative experience: Sauna steamroom closed every other week and closes half and hour early everyday for cleaning. Unhappy staff and this resonates with the service they offer. Once saw poo in the showers notified the receptionist who just said the cleaners off. Toilets in changing rooms are horrible and some places look like it's in the middle of a makeover

Negative experience: You can't get hold of anyone! I've tried to register for swimming lessons, but no one ever picked the phone at the reception or sales team! Went to the gym itself and was told to email the lady in charge, emailed her just to be told that I need to speak to a salesman because I need membership in order to book lessons and after that I need to email again and they let me know the availability! Absolutely a joke! I mean I have seen the reviews on here but tried anyway, I guess I just ditched the bullet. Definitely not recommended!

Negative experience: I don’t like leaving bad reviews but quite frankly felt like I had to- the gym has the smallest about of air conditioning which is weak and barely working, so the gym is basically unusable. The pool is usually lovely, but it’s so unbelievably hot at the moment in the pool that I couldn’t even do 1 lengthI hope they get their pool heating AND gym air con sorted soon because it’s currently unusable and quite frankly, unsafe. Waste of money sadly.

Positive experience: I found the pool to be very pleasant and calming it is a decent depth and size. The woman’s steam room was sadly a let down due to the design the steam outlet is positioned in a hollowed out area behind the seats and the steam tends to blow upwards and reaches the exit door rather then any of the seats. I had to resort to standing directly Infront of it to get a decent steam which would have been an issue if their were others in the steam room but it must be empty for a reason. U cannot relax standing up so it doesn’t do the job the rest of the steam room was mildly humid. Moving on to the sauna it is also not very hot especially on the bottom row I usually cannot sit on the top row for long but I could here. The gym is decent equipment wise. The chill out area is good. No issues with staff or other users. I like the spin dryer for swimming costumes In the changing area. Toilets are nice and clean. Changing room is good. Only disappointment was the steam room and sauna would not join for the prices due to this reason. Would consider if these issues were improved.

Positive experience: I knew this gym when it was new, after long time, I went back as a guest. Other than old and dirty changing room (full of hair under my flip flop, it was first session in the morning.) I didn’t feel any problems… Staff are friendly, pool was warm. Shower water pressure was much better than Pure gym near by. Just wonder why they don’t renovate the cafe area like it used to be.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at the Nuffield Gym in Ealing for a long time and I am very pleased with it. It has a great location for a gym as it’s inside a mall, super friendly staff who are always eager to help, good size gym with lots of new equipment and classes and a lovely indoor pool. Wish there was a bigger Spa area though with a steam room, sauna and hot tub!

Negative experience: The gym is absolutely a joke, there’s always something that it doesn’t work which is pretty absurd considering the fees that we are paying every month. They don’t even bother sending a text saying that the gym has a problem and it will be closed. The facilities are filthy and the gym floor is overcrowded 24/7.

Negative experience: Extremely cold on the gym floor and in the studio rooms in winter. Very uncomfortable. No heating on. Everyone wears a hoodie or a sweatshirt. Once I forgot to bring a layer and I had to abandon the exercise for that day. Poor facilities & bad cleaning. What kind of facility are they running??? The showers are cold, the sauna is running at lower temperature. So stingy! All we get is excuses from the managers and staff. This gym is going to close down if it runs like this.

Fantastic experience: Member for a while , great staff, welcoming and hard working . Cleaners work hard , not always that clean but it's due to public, there is disinfectant tissues for a reason, our responsibility. Also same applies to changing rooms and bathrooms . One person can't do all , so I can't blame it on club .

Negative experience: Non existent customer service. If you get in touch via the website you will never receive an answer. If you are trying to have a health insurance discount they will delay this as long as possible and make you pay the full price until nobody knows when. Not to mention that you pay a downgrade fee the moment you request a health insurance discount.

Negative experience: Rolling gym membership costs £102. This gym is barely worth £30. Even the contract of £81 is way too high. Gym equipment actually quite new and good, with lots of it. Treadmills always busy but the rest of the gym is ok for size. Gets very hot and uncomfortable. Pool is dark and small for the price, other gyms way better for the price. Sauna is small and rest of the building is a dated. Should really reduce price or revamp massively.

Negative experience: The management team (a part the gentleman called marc ) is extremely rude and unprofessional . This gym is going downhills massively . Rude staff , no heaters in the gym and poor maintenance . Nuffield should do something immediately or closing the doors is behind the corner .

Negative experience: Worst Nuffield gym I have been to! The biggest issue is that they don't switch on the air conditioner and the gym, cafe, etc are just too hot. Gym is otherwise OK but the pool is dark and it would help to have a bit more light. Editing this review for an update after a few months....if air conditioning was the issue in the summer, heating is the issue during winters. It is freezing in the gym floor, locker room, etc. I don't know if it is a cash flow problem or general apathy but they don't really care or do anything even after multiple people complained. The bathrooms are not clean. I have tried multiple Nuffield gyms and I can easily say that this is the worst of them all.

Positive experience: Your standard 3* experience. Like going to a gym from 20 years ago. Equipment ok. It all feels a bit tired and dirty, aircon inconsistent, staff not generally engaged. Exception is the class instructors who are great. All in all, probably fair enough at the price, and convenience and location is good for me so I will continue, but it ain't Third Space

Negative experience: The facilities are shockingly bad. Charges are excessive and yet the pool is often closed, sauna and steaks are broken. Even worst that the air condition system was ok despite freezing temperature. The place is a health hazard. Therefore, the gym user would appreciate focus from the Nuffield head office because the local management team is ignoring members feedback.

Negative experience: Very dirty and smelly changing rooms. There was a very thick cobweb in the woman’s changing room hanging over everyone. Also seems like the heating hasn’t been turned on for three weeks. And the steam room and sauna are often off. Have complained to front desk but not much said.

Negative experience: I joined this club for the sole purpose of enabling my two young boys to have swimming lessons. I tolerated the facilities (dirty and run down) because the swimming teacher was absolutely fantastic and my sons thrived. When we broke up for the summer holidays we knew our swimming teacher would not be returning. Over the summer we heard nothing about a replacement until the 1st September when the club emailed us to say that they’d been unable to find a replacement teacher and that the lessons were cancelled. I asked for a refund of my membership for the month of September and for the classes (which I had pre paid) to be refunded. This amounts to almost £400. Two months later I am still waiting. The club confirmed the refund of the classes on the 21st September but no payment has been made. They are disputing owing me the membership money notwithstanding the fact that the club is in breach of contract for failing to deliver the service for which I had paid. I should not be in a situation where I am emailing to chase up payment or attending the club in person (which I did today) to demand the money be refunded. It seems likely that I will have to commence legal action. I am not the only parent in this position with Nuffield (Ealing). The club must owe thousands to disgruntled parents waiting for their refunds. Nuffield - this is not acceptable!
Negative experience: I came here as a guest with my friend as I was to join a local gym in my area. The manager was giving us lot of attitude because they don’t do guest passes which is a lie. I left this place and joined Gymbox instead.

Negative experience: I am a member of this gym and my patience is running thin with management. The heat wave over the last 4 weeks has been gruelling for most, and the one thing they have been too lazy to sort out are their air conditioning units. Member after member has complained, as I have done every few days, and barely anything has been done. They're constantly down, and in this heat, it makes workouts unbearable during busy times. Customer service has to improve.

Positive experience: I only use the pool and steam room - so I have no experience in the gym. The pool is nice, kept clean and at a really good temperature. I have an off-peak membership and the pool can get busy between 14:00-15:00 so if you can afford the full membership that might be better for beating the crowds.
