Negative experience: Really bad gym. Poor equipment and facilities. Changing room is in a state. Lockers with a note for longer than 2 years now, broken doors, sink without hand soap… water fountains broken and nobody seems to care. Gym machines not working for weeks too… but hey, pay £45 every month for this service. Made a formal complaint before but they simply don’t care. It’s a joke.

Negative experience: Tried calling 5 separate times didn’t answer the phone when they do they put the phone back down again. Customer service is appalling worst lesiure centre going. Don’t waste your time with the place go to Richmond found the customer service better the changing area is cleaner just in general better place

Negative experience: I have to agree with another reviewer here about Dorota, the outrageously rude manager of the cafe section of this place. In the past, I've gone to buy stuff and she looks so upset to be serving me, like I shot her dog. Another time, I went to order some crisps, and when I showed her my membership card which gets me a discount, she huffed, puffed and rolled her eyes and snatched my card to add the discount. Excuse me? Is this how a manager is supposed to act with paying members? Would you prefer if I cancelled? I've never seen this level of entitlement or rudeness with any customer service person before, let alone a manager. I've reported her to the managers at the gym and left feedback, but because she's the manager of the cafe area, she acts like she owns it, and doesn't have to even make the effort to hide her disdain for certain customers. In my experience, it's hard to feel like there isn't racial profiling going on. If anyone else treated paying customers as such a burden and annoyance in any other business, they would be sacked immediately. I no longer buy anything and actively avoid the cafe now because of her.

Negative experience: £42 per month. 2 benches for the whole gym, no working water fountains, no hot water in the showers. Shall I carry on?

Fantastic experience: Jagoda at Isleworth Leisure Centre is an absolute gem! Working only on Thursdays, she brings a unique warmth and kindness that transforms the entire atmosphere. Every time I visit, her friendly smile and willingness to help make my day brighter. She remembers names and faces, making each customer feel valued and special. My Thursdays are always better because of her presence. Thank you, Jagoda.

Negative experience: The worse one is Isleworth leisure centre. You try to call them the reception won’t answer, the cancel the classes just before they start and just in case you do not respond to the call they will not bother apologising as they believe they have done the standard call. They are worst at customer service.

Fantastic experience: This is the best pool in the chain and a good discovery for me. I live across the road from the Brentford pools, but they are too shallow for me to swim in. The steam and saunas are bonuses. A very helpful receptionist called Jacoda made it more so pleasant.

Negative experience: I have tried to call reception on 3 separate occasions now, waited 5 mins, called back, waited another 5 mins, gave up. 3 separate times like this. I give up

Negative experience: From staffing to actual gym itself is huge embarrassment, not sure why council don’t intervene to help general public , I asked to freeze my membership for not being able to use the certain facilities like Sauna and steam because I am only interested in them despite having a full membership but I must use other facilities even though I’m in capable of and also told if things don’t work in this particular location then I must visit other locations where they have this facilities and when complained to the staff simply manipulate the situation like when I complained this to the manager and he referred me to the senior management and when I sent email to the senior management I was replied by the same staff who couldn’t help me with the problem, so sad to see this happening to our gym running so poorly by this management.

Negative experience: This review isn’t about the Leisure Centre as a whole, but specifically about the lady who works at the Cafe in the Leisure Centre. She has to be the most unpleasant person I have ever dealt with. I have waited for a while before resorting to a review but her behaviour towards me has been unacceptable on too many occasions to ignore - it has gotten to a point where I will no longer purchase anything from there anymore and will try to avoid it as best as I can. As far as I have seen, she seems to have an issue with me in particular as she behaves normally with other customers. I really hate to play the race card here, but it seems to me that the lady has an issue with ethnicities that are not the same as hers. She huffs and puffs and rolls her eyes everytime she deals with me. Enough.

Fantastic experience: This place is a gem that deserves a better rating and better reputation. It’s a beautiful old 1930s art deco building similar to the classics along the Great West Road. The outside is a little run down, but the inside is clearly well maintained, clean and has obviously been recently renovated. The staff were very smiley and friendly on the front desk and helpful, and there are load of friendly chatty regulars. We met Mr Jacuzzi . The pool is has nice wide lanes with loads of natural light from the wall of windows onto Redlees park, and the sauna and steam room are bigger, cleaner and hotter than my current local BetterGym in central London. All the rooms and jacuzzi were working. Edit: FYI the Sauna opening times are until 21:45 in weekday evenings, and 15 mins before closing on weekends.

Fantastic experience: Great gym friendly staff and lovely pool And great cafe

Negative experience: Slippery floors, overcrowded and refused a refund when I explained I couldn't safely take my baby in the deep and crowded main pool. Don't visit with young children.

Positive experience: It would be good if the reception telephone was manned more often. Called many times with no answer and staff seem to congregate at reception so I am not sure why the phone rings and rings until I give up and try again minutes later... not answering doesn't make my enquiry go away! Other than that, lovely pool and not sure where I will put my winter coat as locker is too small. I guess I will need to rent out x 2 lockers.

Fantastic experience: By far the best pool in the borough. They actually divide the lanes like normal humans with a brain - ie, if there are 6 lanes painted on the bottom then 6 lanes are divided (unlike Brentworth and Pools in the Park which divide their 6 lane pools into 3 stupid comically large lanes). I’ve been at 7:30 and 8:30am and both times it was nice and not very crowded. People mostly respect lane speeds. The locker rooms are shared (men and women) but at least they have private cubicles for the showers and individual lockable change cubicles. (Toilets are gendered men or women too). Much nicer than the huge intimidating mixed shower room at Pools in the Park! Hairdryers are free to use, but you will need a £1 or €1 coin to use the lockers (which you get back).

Negative experience: The Staf not helpful and the manager Jordan is not like manager not good ate cud the worst manager ever seen in my life need to be worked out for this beautiful place some one clean them up

Negative experience: Is there anything wrong with your phone? Trying to call for hours with no response. Needed to go there to request a change on my membership, while that could be done easily over the phone. Not happy at all!!

Negative experience: No one ever answers the phone at reception. In many instances the swimming pools are closed as they’ve no staff. SHAMBLES!

Fantastic experience: Better than heston and hanworth, have a jacuzzi as well as it's small, but at least there is a facility, pool is 3 meter deep and long so can enjoy swimming separate pool for kids

Negative experience: Very bad management . From the help desk to the manager all are rude and unprofessional. They gym is most dirty and the whole bathroom are filthy . They never care about informing the members if the club is close or suddenly any session time is changed and they take the money also . The manger don’t bother to solve if you request even after their fault . I hope isleworth launch a new club so we never have to go there .

Fantastic experience: It's better than Hanworth Leisure Centre. Just a personal experience because it might be different for everyone as me and my family and I only go swimming.

Negative experience: Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. They never ever pick up the phone and even when you are standing at the front desk to try to pay for something they try their very best to ignore you. This place is everything that is wrong with the world today! Also their jacuzzi is always out of use (why not just get rid of it if you can't be bothered to maintain it or pay to get it fixed) unbelievably useless and rude staff (u strongly suggest that you get ones that actually value having a job and want to provide good customer service!)

Negative experience: They NEVER pick up the phone and something or another is not working or out of order. They lost my drivers license when I trailed their class that never took place because the instructor never showed. They said they had credited my account for the loss (which I am grateful for), I am yet to find out if this is actually the case. Used to be a smooth running place which does not seem like the case since they changed hands.

Fantastic experience: My son started swimming lesson in Isleworth leisure centre , the teachers are very supportive and attentive to him due to his special needs. I can’t thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: I always use the pool. Very convenient local place with good price and service. Always good service and nice staff. You need to bring some change for the lockers. Also quite cheap in comparison with other gyms. You can buy a contract and it would be even cheaper. Also a big number of other activities.

Negative experience: Verry poor gym. The gym has a very bad smell, it's way too small with minimal equipment. The pool has been closed since I joined (2 months now), and it's impossible to get through to anyone at reception when calling. I will be cancelling my membership and finding a better gym for half the price

Negative experience: This Leisure Centre is disappointing to go to. Many times I go to the gym for the disgusting and lingering smell of sweat to be stuck in my nose. We ask the staff there many times that there is a very bad smell and cannot stand it. But time and time no effort is made to fix these issues. Of all the surrounding gyms I have been to have been to, there has never been a place like this that has such little and broken equipment but also the unbearable smell. I pay a lot of money to come to this gym and I see no improvements made to make the experience better. Every day I go the gym becomes worst and worst where I feel it has been affecting my mental health. Never have I ever had this bad of an experience and have been shocked by the appalling customer service.

Positive experience: I just joined lampton leisure . I did world dance class with Moriel . His class was amazing . I did spin class with Dee . It was very nice too . I just wana request can we have World dance class one more added to morning time table . As it is always over booked . Its most popular class i guess . As many people are on waiting list . If we get one more class others can have chance to do it too . I am attaching picture as you can see its waiting list is 15 people . One more request please can we have body pump class too in morning time table after 9 am . That will be amazing . Thanks .

Negative experience: I feel compelled to share my disappointment following a distressing incident at Lampton Isleworth Leisure Center on April 11, 2024, around 18:30 hours. My family and I experienced an appalling lack of safety measures and unacceptable behavior during our visit. The incident unfolded in the changing room, where a male patron displayed aggressive and threatening behavior towards my wife and young children, aged 5 and 6. Despite our distress, there was a shocking absence of staff intervention, allowing the situation to escalate unchecked. This experience raises serious doubts about the safety and security standards at your facility. As a result, I cannot in good conscience recommend Lampton Isleworth Leisure Center to others. It is deeply disappointing that a place intended for recreation and relaxation failed to provide a basic sense of security for its patrons. I urge you to take immediate action to address these concerns and ensure the safety of all visitors. I canceled the membership and they kept taking out money from my account for two months and told me they was going to refund me they money back . This was 3 MONTHS AGO! I email them and they don’t get back to me I also call and they can never give me a certain answer of what’s happening . Terrible

Negative experience: Not very good I have found cum on the walls it is filthy and disgusting the gym is too expensive and the cafe worker is not nice I do not like her get rid of her

Positive experience: There are not enough lower weight free weights, you have to wait for someone to finish. But worst of all for me as a 60+ year old is the 'music'. I hate the electronic dance music that always seems to be playing, Either play something more generic or nothing at all.

Negative experience: Lagoon never open. Everytime i try to bring my kids its closed. Need to fix up.. was refurbished for ages and still having the same problems.

Positive experience: I like going there but it's definitely a challenge to find a slot for the pool. The timetable is filled with schools and private swim practices which only leaves few hours in a day for a regular swimmers - if any at all. Especially if you want to come in the evening after work there are days when you can't come at all because it's fully booked. It's annoying because you pay over £40 for a membership and can't even come sometimes. Also during the winter, the water in the pool is a bit cold. If it comes to the gym it is quite small and tends to get crowded. As a woman I don't feel comfortable being there as it feels like everyone is staring and there's not much space and all the equipment is very close to each other. I feel like men also take over the weight area and just gather around there claiming the space.

Positive experience: I'm always on the lookout for a place that ticks all the boxes. This place definitely comes close! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Lawrence, a friendly and helpful staff member who gave me a fantastic tour of the facilities. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and answered my questions with patience and a big smile. But what sets this place apart is the value for money. You definitely get your bang for your buck. I highly recommend checking it out!

Positive experience: My visit to Isleworth Leisure Centre was very pleasant! The guide, Lawrence, was an absolute gem - friendly, welcoming, and incredibly informative. He took the time to answer all my questions, showed me around the facilities with genuine enthusiasm, and never once made me feel pressured or uncomfortable. Based on my tour and initial impressions, the Leisure Centre seems like an excellent value for money. The membership options are flexible, and the facilities are worth the price. I'm not sure if I'm quite ready to embrace my inner gym rat just yet, but Lawrence's positive attitude and the overall great vibe of the place have definitely made me reconsider!

Negative experience: Took my 10 month old daughter here for her regular swimming lesson yesterday. When we went to get changed in the family room, there was a large cockroach on the floor! There was also another baby one nearby, pretty gross to be honest and really put me off returning....some poor young girl at reception had to come and kill it. I recommend that you get pest control in ASAP! I gave 2 stars as the swim lesson with Susie was good as usual

Positive experience: I got a fine from hounslow council while using the gyms FREE car park, i did not know you had to book parking on PayByPhone when it is free, what a stupid system... £40 ill never see again, how can fines be handed out for free car parks that is nuts! other than that the gym is good... i wont make that mistake again, but fines should not be handed out for free car parks!

Negative experience: Poorly maintained gym and basic equipment, it’s hard to do a workout there and always really busy with not enough space

Negative experience: If I can give them zero i will not hesitate as I had a very bad experience with them yasterday one lady from the reception staff shouted over for me and was very rude with me and my little son because we don't knew how to swab the card on the machine and when u made a complaint to the manger he said I saw every thing from my office and she did not shout and my staff well trained so i will not apologize and now my son was terrified and scary and doesn't want to go swim class again as at same time this lady treat well with other man so its obvious discrimination and racism. So i don't suggest this bad place for any one Please AVOID AVOID AVOID

Negative experience: I had bad experience in this place regarding racism and discrimination.My little boy have psychic trauma since staff member shouted over him . I raised complain to the manager who showed sympathy towards his colleague and refused to apologise and declined any discrimination happened even he was not in the scene and the other people witnessed. I am now in the process to seek legal advice.

Negative experience: I was too patient with this gym and had membership for years. First things first - it's filthy, smelly and poorly maintained. You can see piles of litter inside the locker room, dust on a ceiling, empty soap machines, had couple of eye infections due to appalling sanitary conditions. Swimming pool is literally so crowded that it's impossible to have a training session, too many classes and you would have to share 1 lane with 10 other people, off-peak hours they close the lane due to not enough lifeguards on duty. And finally best excuse of the century - when will you fix the sauna? They're waiting for part :) And don't forget to book parking on site as council comes occasionally and award you with parking tickets. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Fantastic experience: For the price of the swimming I find it amazing to have finally found a leisure centre with working sauna and steam room included. The water could be a little bit cleaner and the changing rooms are becoming dated but nothing major when compared with other council run centers.

Positive experience: Gym is good, but needs improvement. Quite basic machines. It doesn’t have a basic exercise bench or a machine for glutes which almost every gym has. The sauna and jacuzzi are way too small for the size of the building. They are both super crowded. Cleaning needs improvement! Never had an eczema on my skin, since I started gym here I got one and I am suspicious that it might be from the gym or sauna. If improvements would be made, the actual location and size of the whole building is amazing. Considering the fees are not the cheapest, there should be some more investment done to improve the conditions.

Fantastic experience: First a timer and I love the seating area in the sauna room and the chairs, the tiles make it much more warmer and the space in this steam room is much more spacious than the 1 in Chisiwck. The jacuzzi could have been warmer and the steam room, temperature thermometer was broken so needs fixing. Apart from that I enjoyed the steam room the most.

Negative experience: Reception never answer the phone, meaning I have to GO to the centre every time to ask any questions which is totally inconvenient and inappropriate.

Negative experience: Bylo zle juz od kilku miwsiecy ale teraz jest tragicznie , przede wszystkim brudno I nie dzialajacy sprzent na silowni , oczywiscie od dluzszego czasu nie dziala sauna, jacuzzi a dzis zostala wylaczo a sauna parowa czyli w strefie Spa juz noc nie dziala . Najgorsza jest jednak obsuga a przede wszytkim menadzerowie , ktozy nie maja pojecia co to znaczy klient są niemili a wręcz chamscy nie mówiąc o tym , że nic nie wiedza I nie potrafia odpowiedziec na najprostrze pytanie . Niestety sytuacja z tygodnia na tydzien jest coraz gorsza .

Negative experience: Do not waste your money on membership. Good classes are always fully booked. Booking specific pool is a joke. It says max 10 people but they allow so much more to the point there is no swimming but just standing- no room. People are jumping in and out, lot of splashing- no one cares. Swimming lessons with Mo is only reason i give it 2 stars rather than 1. He is brilliant with my son.

Negative experience: Worst gym i have ever used. I wanted to quit but they said you have to give 1 months notice. Nobody told me this when i first signed up. They said its in the contract i signed. I asked to have a look at this 'contract'. There wasn't one. All i signed was a direct debit form and a health declaration. They said said oh its on the website and the manager told me if i cancelled my direct debit it would affect my credit score and threatened me with debt collection agencies. What great customer service. My friend also cancelled her membership but gave a months notice. They charged her again and when we went to complain one of the staff members told us we were wrong and missed the cancellation date by a day. I asked to speak to a manager and she said no we were right and finally refunded her after going back and forth. The gym itself is pretty small with many members so it is always packed. If you sign up to this gym just beware of how sneaky they are.

Negative experience: Very crowded, forget trying to get anywhere near the free weights, always taken over completely by groups of blokes socialising. This gym would really benefit from a womens area.

Positive experience: A pretty good standard fitness centre. Don't try phoning. There is not enough benches in the men's changing room, so everyone uses the same two corners. Very frustrating and totally unnecessary.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been swimming here for a few years now and I was thinking today how lucky we are to have such great facilities here and the schools having access to this pool and the teaching. The only downside is my children have been on the waiting list for years but I believe the waiting list is in the 100s. I just love the window wall to swim alongside the changing seasons. It’s great to see the shower lights are fixed and the ladies toilet accessible again. The cleaning team are doing an excellent job (inc the water quality) and I must give a shout out to the reception staff. In fact I find all the staff nowadays pleasant, helpful and professional. Keep up the great work definitely positive changes of recent. Thank you!

Positive experience: Basic gym. But they do good offers which makes it relatively cheap to join whenever I am in the area.

Negative experience: Third class service . Steam is not working from two months and always getting excuses. No recommendation for this gym anymore

Positive experience: I have recently joined and have used the gym pool and health suite. The gym and pool are decent and probably the quality you'd expect at a more expensive club, however the health suite let's it down a little. Whilst the sauna and jacuzzi seem clean they are a little on the small side to handle demand at peak times. The steam room has been out of action since I joined despite being told it would be sorted in a few days. It is this aspect that knocks it down from 5 stars. The staff all seem pleasant and professional.

Please ILC please take an initiative to train your staff in a professional and courteous manner specially the front desk as it is the face and first experience of a members and customers alike. What is the point of running such a big leisure Center without taking pride and interest in providing a good customer service?

Positive experience: Not very impressed with the facilities being in the corridors.. pleasant if not slow reception staff.. car park is very dodgy and very difficult to pay to park without using the Mobile phone app demanded buy the council. I wouldn't recommend anyone that relies on car transport to use this facility.. however there is plenty of substandard tfl transport links via bus's.

Fantastic experience: Visited Isleworth Leisure Centre a few times. Grateful no need for membership, I can show up as I see fit/possible. Recently Centre had works to improve facilities. I mainly use swimming, steam & sauna, and they are up to scratch, providing us with everything we need. A few months ago when i looked at the google reviews, I was surprised to see some 'not so favourable' reviews about Isleworth Leisure Centre. I am content in that this Centre isn't the most modern, and also not perfect..but facilities work great, and I can see that Centre and Staff are continuously working to improve our/ visitors experience. Thank you and I will be back again.

Negative experience: They removed the shower booths were you could place and hang towel/soap/bag to a curtain were theres no privacy anyone can see even on the sides and has nowhere to put your toiletries or clothes...thanks had to go home stinking of chlorine pool water

Negative experience: After closing to make improvements I returned for it to be worse, freezing conditions and hair dryers have been reduced from 3 to 1 which was absolutely useless.

Positive experience: Personally i like it. It has all the equipment you need and its not very busy, to me thats very important. I haven't used the changing rooms and shower so cant comment. Only dissatisfaction is that now we need to pay for the parking as previously i believe it was free.
