Fantastic experience: Excellent parking option for your holiday

Negative experience: Booked here as we had an early morning flight and we wanted to miss traffic. Paid extra £25 for two breakfasts but shortly after was informed they dont start breakfasts while 7am which was too late for us, they already knew this as they had our flight details. Was refused a refund from the quite quite rude desk staff who simply offered us a bowl of fruit and smirked! Will not use again

Negative experience: Want a restful night's sleep before your travel? Want something tasty to eat after a long drive to the airport. Then I wouldn't stay here. By far and away the worst hotel I have ever stayed in... and I have stayed in some proper dives. Firstly the food - £15 for what was clearly a smart price frozen pizza. Foul not worth 99p. The next sign I had made a real mistake was when I noticed a rather striking "guest" who was clearly known to the hotel staff chatting to all the single men checking in. As the night went on other "Guests" were running up and down hallways until 3am banging on doors, asking each other if they can have half a bag. No idea what could possibly be in a "bag" probably more frozen pizzas... at 2 am I considered just giving up and waiting it out at the airport. Speaking of which given the prices of taxis to get to the airport and back it's cheaper to stay somewhere much nicer and pay to park at the airport.

Negative experience: Overpriced .every week I'm there working in the area .carpets grubby no heating and stinks of fag smoke it comes through the aircon that doesn't work from ajoining rooms . It's a one night hotel for holiday people any longer don't bother.

Positive experience: We were dubious about this hotel as we only checked the reviews after the booking. We arrived around 6:30 and then reception staff were polite. We got to the room and and it clean but like other reviews stated, it was dated. The room next door had the tv which seems so loud but I think it was just the super thin walls. The morning receptionist was lovely and very Informative along with the shuttle bus driver. Had a reasonably good night sleep. Would consider staying here again.

Positive experience: Ticked all the boxes for a stop over before flight. Used the shuttle and the airport parking which is a bargain! Only reason it’s a 4 is because there’s a funny smell in the bar so didn’t want to sit down there.

Negative experience: I book this hotel a week in advance. Should have been two double rooms They gave me two family room with single beds. And bunk beds. Staff (David was terrible) not helpful at all and very rude. Silverfish in the bathroom. I was on crutches and they have given me a bath instead of walk in shower Never book this hotel

Tasneem Khan 7 months ago

Negative experience: Very bad experience I booked a double room but they gave us family room with 2 single beds. I spoke to DAVID very rude person who was telling me it’s my problem when I booked it 1 week before. Who employs unprofessionals at their work place he has no work ethics and he doesn’t have customer service skills. Ridiculous. Very bad experience spoiling our holiday

Negative experience: Do not stay here! Absolute rip off. We booked through guest reservations (getaroom.com) which included free airport shuttle with breakfast included. On arrival we were told it’s impossible to book the shuttle online and that breakfast is not included with the booking. Completely misleads you into thinking you’re booking with the hotel directly and YOU DO NOT get what you paid for. Parking was an extra £5 per night which is reasonable and was expected. The room was shabby and the hotel feels very run down. What appeared to be very reasonable suddenly became not the proposition it looked. Do yourself a massive favour and book elsewhere. If you were paying what’s quoted then you might want to slum it but with the added extras you can get yourself somewhere decent before your hols or trip. You don’t get what you think you’re paying for and the hotel is a dump.

Negative experience: Just not very good and nowhere near airport. Best choosing more expensive place and save on taxi fares.

Positive experience: Basic but decent airport hotel. Small room and tired decor but did the job for overnight stay.

Roy Middleton 7 months ago

Positive experience: This is a no frills hotel, ideal for an overnight stop before an early morning flight. We did get kind of ripped off. However, due to the size of our party and our luggage, we decided to use the hotels minibus. We booked it for 04:45 and were told that the cost would be £25. It's not cheap, but it is to the airport. On the morning of departure, we were waiting in reception for the minibus, 4:45 came and went with no sign of it. I spoke to the receptionist, who told me it was on the way, so I waited a little longer. Nothing happened, so I went back to the receptionist, who then told me it was just about here. On arrival we found 2 normal taxis had been called and the price was going to be £17:00 for each taxi. So, instead of paying £25 for the minibus we booked, we ended up paying £34 for 2 taxis. I have contacted the hotel about this but am still waiting for a reply over a week later.

Negative experience: Nice enough hotel for the price but very noisy. Staying here again and changed the review, absolutely shocking, told we couldn't eat in the restaurant even though plenty of space, got told we could only eat in the bar but no where to sit, I then witnessed 2 people walk in an sit down unchallenged (they didn't even eat) after complaining we entered the restaurant only to be told the same, regardless we sat in the restaurant, ordered 2 chicken salads, they cocked that up, restaurant has 2 other couples in and we waited an hour. As we decided to leave a young girl approached saying she thought we had gone back to our room and took them back to the kitchen, then another walked over to us with the same salads that had been sat for over an hour and asked if we still wanted them. Definitely won't be staying here again and if I hadn't have had a drink I would have driven to another hotel. SHOCKING SERVICE and STAFF who shouldn't be allowed in the hospitality industry. Thankfully the vending machine had decent crisps. Apparently revamped rooms 18.01.2025

Negative experience: Under NO circumstances, book at this horrible place. Service was OK by some and rude by most. Food was absolutely awful. And don't book their Christmas break it's an OAP break, all entertainment was catered for people 60 and over. Ruined our Christmas so much that if there was trains running on Christmas day or boxing day we would have left early. Shocking just how bad it was. If I mentioned every bad thing about this place it would be a 10 page review 0 STARS

Negative experience: Stayed before and after long haul flights. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is handy for the airport with parking and transfers available for an additional fee. But that’s where any the positivity ends. The rooms are very dated and in need of modernisation and it felt more like staying in contractors accommodation than a spa hotel. The decoration is clumsy with visible filler around fittings and paint seemingly applied with a yard brush by a blind person feeling their way around the room! The walls, doors and skirting boards are heavily painted but badly scuffed or dented from years of use, woodwork is chipped and the curtains don’t fit the windows fully. My first room was adequate in size to open cases etc, offered complimentary toiletries in an adequate sized bathroom, but the room had a smell which suggested it’d once been a smoking room option. The second room smelt better but didn’t have any washing facilities other than a badly wall mounted body wash dispenser within a pokey bathroom, where the floor was too slippy to walk on and there were some questionable marks on the back of the toilet door. This room was very small and cramped with no room to open even a small suitcase anywhere but on the bed. Overall the hotel is very dated and in need of a refurb. The location is excellent and the staff very kind and helpful.

Positive experience: Basic hotel as expected for £49 a night. Water bottles and cookies in room which is a nice touch! Very close to the airport, BUT - Manc airport taxi ranks try and rip you off with £25 for a 10 min ride?!! We managed to get an Uber for £7 - £14 (price depending on the time), however Uber drivers kept cancelling on us about 5 - 6 times before someone actually turned up. It was quite stressful, and because of this taxi stress I probably wouldn't stay there again. Restaurant in the hotel is overpriced and just serves frozen food. Slept peacefully tho!

Fantastic experience: Arrived at hotel, easy to park. Friendly staff in reception, form filled out for transfer to airport. Double room, lovely and clean. Kettle and supplies. Paid £5.00 to use the Spa, pool, sauna and swim. Jacuzzi and gym available too. Had a lovely salmon salad in the bar and drink. Lovely relaxed way to start my holiday. Will be using them again when using Manchester to fly from as only a short trip to the airport. Ideal!

Fantastic experience: The rooms are good and clean but are looking a little dated now . The service was good and the food is really good and good value. The breakfast is very good value.

Josh Smith 9 months ago

Negative experience: Good location but that's all it's got going for it. We were on the ground floor which wouldn't have been so bad if we weren't DIRECTLY under the stairs. I imagine this is how Harry Potter felt living under the stairs but in this instance with people coming and going with suitcases at all hours not much sleep was possible. How they think that room is acceptable I don't know. Had to beg for a second pillow at reception. AVOID

Stuart Evans 9 months ago

Positive experience: Does what it says on the tin and perfectly adequate for overnight stay prior to flight. Read info on shuttle bus leaflet if flight arriving back after 21:30 as you need to ring a number and pick up point is different

Anna Craigen 9 months ago

Positive experience: Everywhere is rather dated, but the rooms had everything that you need, and the beds were comfy. We paid for the breakfast and were very pleasantly surprised - there was a good selection of decent quality cooked/ continental/ fruit and pastries. The coffee was okay too! It's great that there are nice places for a dog walk right on the doorstep. Pretty decent all round - we'd stay again.

Fantastic experience: Staff were friendly and helpful rooms are presented nicely and clean for the price per night it's worth the money

Eeiow 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: Used their stay and fly parking 3 times recently and will continue to use rather than airport parking. It's fantastic value and means you can relax and refresh after a drive ready for the flight the next day. The parking is very easy and the transport comfortable and on time. Arriving back there is no waiting around as you just go straight to your car . The staff are super friendly and helpful and food is available. We have always found it quiet at night, if a bit warm. I book the twin room as there is more space. The beds are comfortable and plenty of hot water, tea and coffee.

MrNoName 9 months ago

Negative experience: =No heating in the room, got told they were on a "timer". Not once did the heating fire up and the radiators were stone cold! =No air conditioning in the room, was flashing red and had an error on the AC panel on the wall. =They offered us a portable heater for the room, that did nothing as that didn't even heat the room enough to a comfortable level. Had to sleep with an extra set of duvet on top to get a decent night's sleep. =Staff at reception unhelpful, asked if we could get another room that had heating or air conditioning and got told they were "fully booked" for the night. =Hotel looks very dated and could do with a renovation

Lisa Fury 9 months ago

Negative experience: Reception staff don't seem to understand much English & are very unhelpful... Had a room with a loud drone noise coming from somewhere & next to a storage room with pipes banging at 4am, 6am then cleaners start at 8:30 am... We get in from work in early hours so not getting restful sleep & woken early. Again reception staff very unhelpful, even though they agreed there was a horrible noise. Pool is charged for even though we're guests not day visitors & it's advertised as a spa hotel. It's not a treatment so why are we being charged! I Towels also charged for! Food terrible. Parking would be useful for airport users, I guess, but means car park is always full, cars parked appallingly & have to drive right up hotel lane to other car parks & walk back in the dark. Typical Brittania hotel. Wouldn't have bothered if I'd known it was one!!

Negative experience: If you try a taxi from national bus station 4 miles away it’s £ 25 they have a transfer bus to airport every hour cost £ 7 . The rooms are old small and like the staff tired. No one can be arsed to be of service. The food looked good but tasted dreadful. The hotel is confusing as it’s the Britannia but there are two . Nothing noteworthy and definitely not recommended

Negative experience: We arrived here on the 3rd of November for a one night. Stay before flying off to Morocco for a week , On arrival at reception, there was two reception stuff on and one of them just didn’t look interested in being there but the other one was quite helpful, We Had pre-booked a three course mail for the evening and were told the restaurant opened from 6 pm until 8:30 pm by reception, After going to the room and coming down for a few drinks, we decided to go to the restaurant early as we had to get up at 3 am, we were told by either the restaurant manager or the hotel manager who was actually on the restaurant entrance that they had a coach party in and it would be 7 o’clock before we would be able to get in which we weren’t told about at reception so obviously lack of communication between management and reception, At approximately 7:10 pm me and my wife went to enter the restaurant. There was another young girl on the entrance and she asked me if I had booked., I said yes I have a three course meal already booked and paid for she looked at this piece of paper and said I can squeeze you in at 7:45. My response was that’s no good. Can you get the manager then? The lady who was on the restaurant entrance? The first time I went? Who told me about the coach party? Asked me have I booked a time my response was no you told me to come back after 7 o’clock because you had a coach party in , In the end, her response to the young girl was “ OHH JUST LET THEM IN “ , Not the response I was expecting from a manager, After sitting down, they took our three course order then I will start it arrived cheap Pate And overly sweet shop, Bought chutney But my wife enjoyed her garlic mushrooms, We ordered hunters chicken which apart from being chewy and not very nice I was start plates were taken away from the table and our main course was put straight down. I still had half a mouthful of my starter but I had my main course in front of me., after finishing them and the plates were taken away and we were asked are you ready for your cheesecake at that point? I think we totally were forgotten about because after 20 minutes of sitting waiting I’m trying to catch somebody’s attention which I did we still never received our cheesecake so after 20 minutes, we just got up and walked out Arrogant and ignorant stuff who can’t communicate between each other which caused an atmosphere trying to get into the restaurant this is one place that I would never ever stay at again. I wish I’d paid the extra and stayed at a better hotel, but it was only for one night.

Positive experience: Didn't get told about any of the facilities when I arrived, had to find everything out myself. No shampoo or shower gel provided or not refilled, i had to go and buy some. Mold around the bath and soap dispenser.oh and i was on 3rd floor with no lift and my key would randomly stop working, meaning lots of steps!!!Other than that the bed was clean and the location is great for walking or watching planes take off.

Fantastic experience: Hotel with parking booked for Manchester airport, travelling from T2. Location perfect, plenty of parking (drive around if you can't find one straight away). Reception staff very helpful and polite. We were given executive room which was very nice. Shared a pizza and bottle of wine evening meal. Breakfast very good. All prices very reasonable. Hotel and parking for 11 nights excellent. Will definately recommend and use again.

Negative experience: 2024! There is Internet in the sea, in the sky, on the ground and in space, but not in this hotel, Internet in the room is paid, I could not use my Internet because the signal is very weak, if you cannot give your clients Internet, then install GSM signal amplifiers

Michelle Sargent 11 months ago

Negative experience: On arrival 28/09/24 the reception staff were not helpful, polite or welcoming. The swimming pool is only open till 6 for children, you have to pay to enter even if you have paid to stay at the hotel. I have never come across this before. £5adults £2children. The rooms are very dated, they only have one pillow per bed and no spares are available. They are very thick and high and the heating does not work. We were very cold but the reception staff said they can't turn it on. It is on a timer but still wasn't on at 7am when we had to get up. My daughter left her apple watch on the side in the room, the cleaners did not hand the watch to lost property.

Fantastic experience: Staff polite. Room clean but dated. We had to go down a good few steps to our room so with heavy cases it wasn't ideal . Pick up there is good to airport so await our return pick up. Staff tried hard to please. Thanks

Positive experience: THe hotel is good, Earlier when I saw review I was not happy but the service is good. Rooms are okay, we booked family room but the sofa bed was not comfertable at all. To use the swimming pool you need to pay the money. Breakfast was okay . Overall with the prices I am happy but the only thing was pool charge that I was not happy with

Negative experience: Very run down rooms.. only supply one pillow per bed.. sorry we don’t have spare.. room not clean with dust on the light fittings so thick.. obviously they don’t have dusters.. cobwebs on the main lights.. the food was not bad. Definitely should read reviews before booking hotels.

Positive experience: Stayed in the hotel last year,so decided to use it again. It had been decorated, the bar and lounge area looked lovely.Asked a girl about it,who turned out to be the manager,She showed me one of the room's that had been decorated and it looked really nice.Would have no problem useing the hotel again.

Negative experience: Hotel is OK, absolute disgrace that they don't take cash ,we ordered a takeaway instead of using the facilities ,room was tired looking ,pool was OK!

Tina Woods 1 year ago

Positive experience: Air-conditioning didn't work was stifling windows and doors have locks so only open slightly. Was tiny room expensive drinks food was good though

Robyn Reeve 1 year ago

Negative experience: For the duration of my stay the fire alarm was in fault, it went off several times during the night causing us to start evacuation. The fact that it was in fault meant that the health and safety of all staff and guests was compromised and that no one got a good night’s sleep ahead of their travels. When I complained about this I was told by general manager that the fire alarm was disruptive but that this wasn’t a problem as I used the room. For a manager to suggest that a life critical safety alarm is only a disruption and should not be maintained to a fit and compliant state is a disgrace. Not only was my sleep interrupted but my safety and that of every other guest was compromised. This reflected the rudeness of the staff throughout the stay.

Negative experience: No hot water in the morning to shower. Ridiculous apart from that the hotel was pretty good but having to have a a freezing cold shower before I go on holiday really annoying . Also some noisey neighbours banging and shouting til early hours

paula schwarzkachel-jackson 1 year ago

Negative experience: Cheap & cheerful for early flight, room basic & clea staff pleasant, ordered the inclusive 3 course meal from hotel restaurant for £20pp, food was raw & cold obviously frozen & my partner was poorly as soon as we had landed

Hannah Martin 1 year ago

Positive experience: Perfect for an overnight stay and airport parking. Our first room had an issue with the TV so they swapped us to another. I would say food is a little limited in the choice and quite expensive for what they serve as you are captive. £10 for a 2 slice of bread cheese and pickle sandwich with a bit of salad and less that a handful of torilla chips isn't good value to me! Kids menu is much better value!! Taxi or bus transfer is required to airport, walking is only for the light travellers who don't have small children!

Helen Goacher 1 year ago

Positive experience: Easy check in, left car in car park for £5 a day whilst away. Transfer to airport with shuttle bus was on time and have used before. Rooms cheap and cheerful, ideal for a night sleep and up early for the airport. We went to Honey Bee pub a 2min drive down the road for tea. Was lovely!

Nilanjana Haque 1 year ago

Negative experience: pathetic hotel with horrible shabby rooms no room service no phones in the room if you buy anything in the hotel they cannot put it down to the room. You have to carry your purse all the time. This is not a hotel really how can they even call this a Hotel it's quite terrible and I paid hundred pounds for a night not exactly cheap. they saw me booking a Uber for the airport but did not tell me about the transfer service that they have . very strange staff really they don't smile. They don't do much we the customers are supposed to be fending for ourselves. definitely not recommended and I am not coming back.

Emma Goodman 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: One night stay before an early flight. Had a large room, recently refurbished. Patio style doors opened up on to the river and the swimming pool machines. It did exactly what we needed it to do, comfy bed, cheap long term parking and located close to the airport. Uber - £15 ish. Long stay parking - make sure you enter your details into the tablet when you check in.

Yamini M 1 year ago

Positive experience: Rooms are okay but not that great, reasonably ok for the price. No lifts for the up stairs. The noise was heard from the next room. The room was clean. The only point to choose this hotel is it is very near to the Manchester airport

Sonia Patterson 1 year ago

Negative experience: I stayed here last night. The reception and bar area is fine. It’s the rooms that are the problem. They are in dire need of updating. I thought I’d stepped back in time with the awful artexed ceiling. Carpets fraying, really tired decor, broken and tacky bedside lights. No telephone in room in case you need to ring reception. I’d booked a twin room - we got one with bunk beds in ‍♀️ Then there was the food - I left most of my evening meal as it was dry and service wasn’t great. I had higher hopes for breakfast. It was ok. On checkout we weren’t asked if we’d enjoyed our stay, which from experience in every hotel I’ve stayed in has been asked each time. I just felt they weren’t bothered whether we were there or not. The only plus I can say is it’s handy for Manchester Airport. I’d advise looking for alternative accommodation if you’re looking for somewhere to stay close to the airport.

Amy May 1 year ago

Negative experience: The place is disgusting. Don't even know where to start. We were down some stairs even though I asked for an accessible room because we had a pram. The toilet seat wasn't attached it was just placed on the toilet. The bath panel was cracked and falling apart the door frame in the bathroom was literally crumbling. It had a door to the room next door and the door didn't lock so anyone could just walk in. The lid on the kettle just fell off when I picked up the kettle. Opened the windows to try and get some fresh air inside with it being so dark and disgusting to find dried up sick all over the outside windowsill. Got woken up at all hours by people banging doors, screaming and shouting. No the hotel staff can't keep tabs on all people staying but the rooms could do with even a little bit of sound proofing as it's a joke. I would avoid this place at all costs

Bethany McCaw 1 year ago

Negative experience: If Google didn't make you put starts then I wouldn't. My aunties wedding was hosted here and it was a mess from start to finish. Everyone was forced to move rooms on the day of the wedding and none of the rooms where ready when they were told to move. The "wedding suite" is a dark pit in the basement. And the "bridal suite" was as basic as a brick wall. The wedding ended up running late due to these issues and the wedding planner kept making excuse after excuse. When it was time for the wedding meal, the bride hadade special requests for my sister who has special dietary requirements and they screwed that up too. Over all and absolute dive.

Damien Doherty 1 year ago

Negative experience: What an absolute hovel, the initial appearance was this is a dive, things got worse from there. Initially given the wrong room key. When that was sorted the correct room key didn't work. The food was slightly above disgusting, makes sodexho catering look good. The service was barely existent.

Jake Williams 1 year ago

Negative experience: Stayed for 1 night before an early flight. Room was very out dated and wasn't clean as there were hairs all over the bed and burns on the bedside table from cigarettes. But much worse then this was the fire alarm which went off twice at 2am and again at 4am which made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The only positive was the staff who were nice and helpful. If I had to stay in a hotel near the airport next time I would stay in the Premier Inn and recommend everyone else to do the same.

Colin Biggs 1 year ago

Positive experience: The airport is going through si.e refurbishment work, but going out was fine. Got through the security quick enough. However on our return I was not impressed that it took over a hour for the first bags to come off the plane

Negative experience: After arriving at this hotel at 2 am, I gave the man on the reception my booking details and he said the room wasn’t ready, how can it not be ready when I booked this 2 months ago. Then said we needed to wait about 10 mins. 20 mins later he said the room was ready. Gave me a key and said enjoy your sleep! I asked where was going and he looked at me as if I should know the answer. Then he said down the hall, through the double doors and up to the top of the stairs and right to end off the corridor. I asked him if there was a lift because we had massive suitcases from our holiday? He said no we don’t have a lift you’ll have to carry them up the stairs. 3 flights. The night staff was very rude and we won’t be booking at this hotel again!

Positive experience: Great for a stop over before or after flying it has everything you really need for a pit stop. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable bed

Piggy Gamez 1 year ago

Negative experience: Parked hire car at hotel car park to come out 2 hrs later to find it had been keyed down 2 doors. CCTV in car park but hotel wouldn’t help due to “data protection “ left complaint for manager and no one had decency of getting in touch. Wonder why the CCTV is there. Be very careful parking there as the car wasn’t beside any others and deliberate act. Hotel not interested in helping at all.

Positive experience: We stayed for two nights as we were visiting the runway park. First night we used the spa facilities and it was worth every penny. We really enjoyed being able to swim and use the sauna and steam room. I really suggest the executive rooms here. They’re not much more in price and really are better. Even the fridge was a brilliant little extra. I’m guessing the executive rooms aren’t as tired as the others as ours looked brilliant. We never had breakfast as it was always too early. It’s close to the airport which makes it easy to access.

Negative experience: I would advise anyone that if you want a decent night's sleep before an early flight, then this hotel is not for you. We stayed on a Saturday night - there was a wedding on which was fine (couldn't hear the music), but the guests were loud, unruly and given that the walls are thin, you are not in for a good night's sleep. It's dated, tired and in desperate need of a refurb.

Positive experience: I stayed for 1 night a short while ago in readiness for an early morning flight from Manchester airport. There is a regular transfer to the airport from the hotel which is much cheaper than using a taxi. The staff are great; friendly and approachable. A decent bar with food available and, considering that you are effectively a 'captive audience' the prices aren't too bad. The room I had did what it said on the tin so to speak; comfortable, with a serviceable bathroom. Overall an okay experience and would certainly consider using again.

Negative experience: Only use if you absolutely must... Tired hotel, rowdy guests all staying before flying out from Manchester airport as was I, minus the rowdy. The rooms are in a really poor state of repair, tiny and as a result very uncomfortable. Cracking floors, unpleasant smells as you walked gingerly through the corridors. Faulty towers?

Negative experience: Around 10:00 am we were getting ready to check out. Housekeeping guy open up the room door and come in straight, I was fully naked out from the Shower. Even though he knew we are inside. We complained to the manager, manager called the housekeeping manager who said “after 10:00 am we have a right to go straight in the room” which is more shocking to hear. We are contacting our solicitor to teach them some manners , respect and privacy of the people.

Positive experience: No problems for the price we paid. Hotel + airport parking very convenient. Would use again. (Currently on the holiday we booked parking for, so this review assumes return transport OK and car still there)

Negative experience: I stayed in room 13 on my last stay the staff are ok ! Helpful but room 13 looks like they have kept farm animals in there ?? And the decor is disgusting!! And in the hall way leading to our room and the fire safety doors require great attention immediately if I could give it a lower score I would but the food service for breakfast was incredible the lady on service for breakfast requires a hand and help and If I was the management there would give this lady a immediate pay rise or you will loose one of your best staff by far please contact me for more details

Positive experience: 10 minute drive approx from terminal 1. Family room had one double bed and a pull out sofa bed. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and did not fold flat. Nothing wrong with the hotel but cannot rate it well due to poor quality sofa bed meaning I struggled to get any sleep before a 3am wake up was needed for flight.

Negative experience: Says 0.8 miles from airport, took a £25 taxi to get me there, their tel number is premium rate to call them, slamming doors all night long, female staff member the next morning, was extremely rude, too busy on a private call to deal with clients, and I swore she cursed under her breath when I interupted her!!! Not good.

Positive experience: Excellent for Manchester airport, reasonable prices, accept cash, rooms basic but clean, shuttle buses to airport hourly, £14 return pp. Pool extra. Good breakfasts

Negative experience: The worst horrible hotel I ever stayed. The rooms didn’t have WiFi (we have to pay and WiFi for a day or until 5 days) They don’t even have a toothbrush or toothpaste and we have to pay money for a toothbrush to them. They say that they have an indoor swimming pool but it’s also paid swimming pool & you have to pay them 5 GBP. So I advise better save your money and stay at a good hotel and don’t stay in this hotel

Fantastic experience: Guys I paid £59 for a double room this place is awesome and Lewis is the best so when you get here ask for him I'm absolutely blown away it's more like a £159 per night hotel than a £59 per night hotel its excellent

Fantastic experience: Great hotel to stop nearby the airport. Reception opened 24hs easy checkin and checkout. The rooms are quiet , spacious and confortable. Parking free for the night but you can books also parking for a number of days (8 max I think) at a better price than most airport parkings. Will surely come back and recomend.

Positive experience: This hotel does what it says on the tin . It provides overnight accommodation and parking while you go away on holiday . Negatives are that the room was tiny for a double and you had to climb over the bed to get into it on the far side as it was right up against a wall. This may be ok for a 24yr old but not at 74 !! The whole hotel was freezing , no heating on anywhere, we asked for a heater for the room which we were given. Positives, the staff are cheerful and helpful , the bar area is big and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was adequate.

Fantastic experience: Stayed in a hotel for 1 night. The hotel is next to the airport, we could hear planes taking off early hours in the morning. Rooms are basic. We couldn't get TV working at all. :( so no evening news for us. Overall its OK.

Fantastic experience: Stayed overnight due to early flight. Very helpful staff booking us taxi to airport for following morning, got to the room and had alot of children in joining rooms/running up the corridor. We were dreading staying/sleeping with our 2 year old trying to get him to sleep with the noise however a few minutes later had a knock on the door and a lovely young chap (unsure of name) asked if we wanted to move rooms due to the noise. Very helpful:)

Negative experience: The location is about 15 min from the airport, though called Airport Inn. The room was small as a closet, on the 3rd floor, but the elevator only went to the 2nd floor. The front desk clerk didn't treat all customers the same, not good. The heat was off, so the room was freezing. After literally arguing with the front desk, they finally gave me a space heater, which did nothing. , it was a way for them to say we did something. It's not recommended take a little more time to find a better hotel, and it's a ⭐️⭐️ hotel at best.

Positive experience: The room we were initially put in had a broken adjoining door, the staff did move us but initially were not going to and asked us to stay in the room with two small children. The next room was fine. Mustn’t grumble as it was a cheap nights stay for a family of 4.

Negative experience: Horrible hotel and horrible staff. They dont care about the guests. With the amount they charge better spend elsewhere. They purposely kept all the guests waiting to check in at 4 pm as the rooms is not ready. And suddenly at 4 all rooms are ready. Go figure

Positive experience: Room comfortable but no shower gel shampoo when came to shower in the morning. Small room as stated but all you need for one night. Pool was closed on arrival so didn't get to use it thought I saw open till 10 & this was before 19.00 this was part of reason booked it. Staff very friendly & helpful dinks ok. Food very basic but edible. .

Fantastic experience: Great and helpful staff and fabulous value for money. I travel a lot due to work commitments and this is a really great place to stay. Well managed also at busy times, friendly staff and consistent standards. Keep up and going from strength to strength

Fantastic experience: I'm still wondering why this hotel has 3 stars. It should be 5! The rooms are big for a twin room with massive TV and space and the toilet is great! Service is very good. The best thing I enjoyed is the swimming it's literally massive and so relaxing this is the best experience and the food is so good literally perfect. I would recommend this hotel for sure and it's so cheap for 4 people! Best experience I would recommend!

Negative experience: Left within an hour of arriving after finding bed bugs. Staff weren’t phased and didn’t bother checking the room. couldn’t get a refund because the manager wasn’t there. Still currently trying to get a refund. Decided to head to the airport and attempt sleeping on the floor over staying there. When ringing to ask for a refund there’s still no resolution and then told to email - receptionist claimed room had been ‘thoroughly checked’ and there were no signs of bed bugs but feel free to take a look at the photos. Place needs shutting down

Jacqui Ashton 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Helpful & friendly staff. Good menu & food at decent prices for a hotel. Rooms provide everything you need if a little on the small side, but clean & comfortable. Great rates & location for overnight stay with on-site parking at the hotel for Manchester Airport. Extra charge for shuttle to the airport, good drop off service but not very good timings for collection in the evenings, so instead of waiting an hour for the next collection time, we got a taxi back to the hotel to collect our car. We would stay here again with holiday parking but we wouldn't book the shuttle transfers offered by the hotel.
