Negative experience: I am surprise why this gym is not closed. Treadmills are not working. showers are suddenly stop working. Swimming pool was out order for almost 2 months.

Negative experience: Not very well organised, shambles when kids swim classes are running. The "everyone active" organisation needs to have a shake up .I'd happily contribute to the ideas.

Negative experience: Terrible gym! Everything is always broken , staff is terrible especially the on of the manager guys

Negative experience: Gym is in rapid decline, so many machines broken, z bar missing, seems to take an age to fix , feels like it being run in to the ground, staff are helpful but work with scraps

Negative experience: Worst place in my life, gym overcrowded and staff at reception are rude and unfriendly. I am only staying because of convenience and my fantastic instructors who motivate us and make the workouts enjoyable. Paid full year membership and still being asked to pay a £4 fees for cancellation less than 4 hours even for the early morning classes or you click cancel by mistake. Not enough weights for everyone in fitness classes and equipments very old and rusty some of them should be discarded away of use for health and safety but sadly they are still there for public use !

Negative experience: I am irritated when I have to pay for something that I do not have access to and I mean that when I want to use any of the machines, I am forced to wait because someone else is sitting on it and not to exercise but to use their phone. That is what a coffee shop is for. The second thing is that when I go to the sauna, it is to calm down mentally from the inside and get rid of toxins from the body and what happened to me was that I had to listen to the conversation of three colleagues talking about total nonsense, on top of that without respect for other users and in a very loud tone. As for my first comment, maybe they should involve people working in the gym to pay attention to people who only sit and occupy the machines, twelve repetitions last about 60 seconds and you have to rest and in the meantime another person can use the machine and that is how it could work. As for the sauna, with respect to everyone, maybe we could hang a sign saying "please be quiet" because I've never seen anyone do that before. There are cafes or other places designated for using the phone and talking,

Negative experience: If you are looking for a swimming class for your child and you have other option, I would advice to take other options.

Negative experience: Going downhill. It has a nice pool and a reasonable gym but… Half the changing cubicles are usually locked so there is not enough room and the cubicles that are open are filthy - mud and hair everywhere. The staff are pleasant enough but I suspect there are simply not enough of them to maintain the place properly. Read the reviews and up your game!

Negative experience: This gym is a joke, things are always broken Machines, sauna etc Now we're even at a point where music is non existent because the speakers are broken. The maintenance is extremely poor, to keep things working.

Negative experience: Worst place to learn swimming class. They just want to take money debit on monthly basis. And they never get inside the water and teach. No proper shower rooms and not enough chairs to sit in the waiting hall.

Positive experience: Ok to mediocre leisure centre but great staff!

Negative experience: I was asked to leave from steam room, because I was wearing a towel on my waste by one of the leisure centre worker saying I should only have shorts when I enter steam room. certainly I had my under garment on me. when I asked receptionist BEN he just neglected me saying , my colleague have told you and I don't want to tell you again and was walking away. Please if I may know, Is it against the policy to go in steam room with towel covering your waste?

Negative experience: Bad gym went on a day pass .running machines plenty other machines always busy swimming pool small for the price it's not worth it Windsor is much better but bit further

Fantastic experience: Haadi ans baasit are doing an excellent job . Rehey cleaned the jaccuzi and it is crystal vlear water. Seriously thank you the do an excellent job and so helpful. I really appreciate that every time i come here everything is so clean.

Negative experience: i joined few months ago for swimming, spa and steam room. SPA and STEAM ROOM is constantly out of order (2 days on, 2 weeks off!). to me it's most of the days less than half of service provided for full price. there isn't any information during booking about it, so people find it out after they pay and walk in. SWIMMING POOL is not cleanest. one of the reason is that many people don't bother to have shower before they enter to the pool and staff doesn't do anything about it, which they should keep an eye on it. (there is person having a shave! every morning after swim and he is also ignored by staff) . swimming in three swim lanes (slow, medium and fast) is also difficult due staff lacking to stop people joining wrong lanes or stop people having chat in the middle of the pool. floors and changing rooms are very dirty. not worth even half price i have been charged for.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>Hi, Thank you for your enquiry. We are aware of the issues with the steam room and spa pool. Our steam and spa are not included when purchasing a membership but is an added feature for our customers to use. We are awaiting an engineer to come out to have a look and fix these services however i do not have an ETA on this. We do put up social media posts via Facebook and signs within the centre. We are unable to send a message through the app due to not having access on site to do this and has to go through head office which could take up to 7 days. Regarding having showers before using the poolside area we do have signs up regarding this but are working on updating and replacing new corporate signs. We do also have signs regarding lane etiquette which the lifeguards are being made aware of during staff training to implement. Positive experience: Not so good today I'm recovering from a stroke and I go on doctors orders I booked a slow lane for 1330-1430, but to my surprise it was a public day today I assume because ofvthe school half term, it would of been nice if the website could've pre warned me as I wouldn't of bothered today

Negative experience: One of the dirty and broken leisure Centre I have ever seen . since I have joined there is always issue . Never been solved the issue on time . People paying very high fees for nothing . Every time you go pool areas busy or something not working and good part is they never send any information messages about damage machine or pool areas. ( Pool staff ) ask them questions they never know anything. Changing areas always dirty hairy . If you go to use pool thier school kids or women’s special time . What about others who paying £45 they should make separate for school kids and women’s if they need to I’m paying so I can use anytime now 4 days steam room not working recently it started working after 3 months i believe this side of the members of club very lazy don’t take people time and money seriously

Fantastic experience: Excellent service yesterday by your membership consultant he was very help full and he made me feel very welcomed and comfortable in the facility.

Negative experience: The staffs at reception is soo rude specially one who is wearing glasses,,, and I will not recommend this place for swimming classes as they will keep your child for in the same stage for years,, it doesn’t matter how good you are,,, purely money making place.

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership after rejoining last year. Showers in the male changing room have been broken for months, gym is overcrowded every evening, equipment broken and has been for weeks, changing facilities are filthy and the steam room has been out of order on every visit in 2024. Joined Nuffield a few miles away.

Negative experience: They are ridiculous. It seems solely focused on making money. They entice with a one-month free offer at the end of a membership, but once you cancel, they abruptly halt all services. Additionally, they charge £4 for any class cancellation, which seems like a significant source of additional income for them. It appears they exploit the limited nearby options to their advantage.

Negative experience: Worst Leisure Centre. Never care about customers. Just there to make money. Taking advantage of not availability any alternatives. Wanted to give negative star but that option is not available.

Negative experience: Really small gym with an overcrowd of people. Machines are always broken and never fixed until atleast a few weeks time and more treadmills than most Machines unfortunately. Not recommended for gym however swimming is great but training is very unreasonably tough

Fantastic experience: Excellent swimming lessons for kids!

Negative experience: Was a member for 3 years and that place its getting worse and worse. Overcrowded. wanna workout 1 pm full 3pm full 5pm full 9pm full. Have to queued up to do a simple workout every time. Workout ethics reached another level. Tripping on dumbbells and bouncing off other people. Room with cables and bikes converted to boxing room and skate push. No one is using it. Men's showers broken(last 6 months). Steam room overcrowded (counted 12 people every time )when it works...Amount of hairs in pool changing area.. unbelievable. Best was when they shot hot water down 930pm and you got 40 people shouting at them. That was coldest good night shower ever so far. There is a lot better gyms in this price range. I Rather go extra 5miles than go back to' the Lidl on Sunday'. I do understand, more members, more money, better investment, but you guys took it to another level. No recommendations given. Sorry but this place become a joke.

Negative experience: Been going there since. 1997 Now Run by the worst ever company for the council run by everyone active Equipment in the gym and poolside constantly breaking down takes days to fix Customer are finding other gyms and facilities at nearby hotels or private gyms

Negative experience: Absolute joke! Long waiting lists for classes. Everything is done via an app. They close the waiting list on the day of the class so you have to keep checking every hour for cancellations. Too many members for the facilities. The staff are unhelpful and can only reply 'go on the app'. Joining was supposed to be good for my mental well-being but has only caused me stress! Very frustrating every day not knowing if I have my class or not, makes it hard to plan and organise my time. Looking for somewhere else now, my blood pressure is too high!

Negative experience: ive been going here 3+yrs only because it is walking distance for me. otherwise i would not come here. literally 2-5 machines out of order weekly for long period of time, others have dodgy seats about to fly off if bigger a** sits on it. this new refurb pointless money waste, invest in new machines instead. also need to check if u want a little space not to come after 3pm, thats when kids get off school and hovering around 1 machine for 30min all 5 of them. i have no hate for kids working out but im sure there could be something done? blue roll is a gold dust in this place, used to be always “out of stock” and have to ask them to replace it. and legit only 3 staff who seem welcoming. i stopped even saying hello because you just get ignored by others. but the credit for good staff goes to guy who dresses in black behind the desk, guy who cleans around, guy with a beard who is always ready to help. anywayyyy, 2 star maxxxx for this.

Negative experience: I've read the reviews, and definitely not excited to start going every Friday (school). I saw the pictures, nothing really there, but the reviews speak for themselves. Honestly, the ones leaving five star reviews may be bots, not saying they are, but been there before as well for MMA training, and place was very dirty. It's a local gym for those in Langley, so it should be worth it for the price of the membership, don't get me started on that! I feel like Langley could do better, if it was only for this gym...

Negative experience: Absolutely pathetic gym, most of the machines are out of order and take months to repair, The repair work is substandard, as they are broken the very next day! The recent “refurb” was so unplanned, and whoever done it, doesn’t understand customer requirements, they have taken out valuable machines and replaced with a unusable “runner track” and “disco led lights”‍♂️ making the large room unusable, resulting in long waiting queues, completely chaotic and frustrating. The gym has potential to improve, as the staff is amazing. But the management needs to work collaboratively and improve the equipment and make use of the space effectively. Need a major overhaul and investment in new equipment! Please fix it!

Negative experience: Came and paid for sauna and steam room, there is no sauna, only steam room 1.2sqm , absurd!!!

Negative experience: Waste of time and waste of money with this center. My son is taking swimming lessons for the last 3 years and more than year passed and he is still in the same last stage. Parents are not getting any updates about the progress. Center is happy as they are getting the money and increasing their monthly charges regularly without improving any of their services. Advise new comers/customers to stay away

Negative experience: My brother has been going to swim lessons for more than a year and he’s been stuck in the same level since, they don’t give any updates to the parents or students, and for the time given for each lesson there are so many students per class. And either the spa is broken or the sauna isn’t open. There are male lifeguards walking around in the ladies swim session even tho there are female lifeguards working there and that too ladies session is only once a week for 45 minutes. gym machines are always out of order, and once they get out of order it takes weeks to fix?

Negative experience: One of the worse gyms I've attended. This a badly run gym, that removes equipments/machines without considering the impact on it's paying customers.

Negative experience: FRUSTRATION DEFINE MY FEELINGS! I needed to upgrade my online account and as their app is rubbish, the person at reception made no effort to help. summing up the story. customer service is horrible! If you can choose another gym, do it!

Negative experience: The facilities overall are complete sheets. The swimming pool and sauna are open late at night mostly for children's lessons and if not children lessons are women's lessons.the gym apparently was refurbished but at the weight are only 4 benches and have to wait a list 45minutes on the q. When you join ask you for a fee for a month advance plus you have to pay days to the end of the month ( Im not might to pay but at least enjoy) When you ask the staff and tell them about that their answer was "we know that ,you have to come after 9pm today if you want to swim. Sorry about that" I already paid for a full year membership so nothing to do now. If you still want to enjoy the gym and swimming/sauna you hate to choose other gyms not like a joke in Langley expensive and 0 quality.

Positive experience: Gym equipment is good but is a bit crowded after new year even in midday. Langley is more expensive than other gym everyone active like The Centre in Slough or Spelthorn in Staines. Need to upgrade from £30 to £34 because is the nearest one for me .

Negative experience: My daughter started doing swimming lesson here and it’s been nearly a year. She upgraded from stage 1 to pre-school stage 2 months ago and after one month we went to holidays and told the teacher that we are going holidays. We came back and went to class today and found there is new teacher. She has been enrolled from pre-school stage 2 to stage 2 and she can’t do that as she still need support and teacher told her to leave the lesson. I went to talk to teacher and she told me that pre- school stage 2 is no more and manager send email to everyone and I was shocked that I didn’t receive any email and she keep saying that I didn’t see the email. She is very confidently saying I didn’t see the emails which they sent and I need to talk to manager. Later pool manager come and told that they called everyone and leave the voicemail as well and I asked him why you didn’t sent emails and he doesn’t have any answer . Swimming teacher telling me that they sent emails and pool manager saying that they called everyone. I try to talk swimming manager Charlie Hens but I can’t reach her. They keep taking money from my account and they knows they cancelled the class. This is fraud from everyone active and very unprofessional answers from Langley leisure centre. We pay money for this and without letting us know you cancelled my daughter class and taking money from our account and I have been told to talk to head office.

Negative experience: This place is a joke. You pay for the membership and you can use the facilities only in certain times of the day. No more than 3 sessions a day and duration 1h per session. Early morning, midday and evening. For the rest of the day they close the whole building for 'swimming lessons'. So I had to change all my schedules to be able to get what I paid for. I booked the steam room for midday on the Saturday, came to the centre as scheduled and was surprised how many brats were there. Anyway got changed and then realised that the swimming pool and health suite is closed I might not be open today. This is outrageous how the management takes the p*ss out of customers. I only came here because it's close to my house. I had to cancel my membership and choose somewhere else, because this place is unbelievable.

Fantastic experience: I use the centre for swimming and have been coming here for years, it’s definitely one of the better pools and swimming coaches here are excellent. Due to a back injury swimming is the only sport I can do and the centre and its staff have been a life line. I have gone from beginner swimmer to now doing lengths, my son who is 10 is a really confident swimmer thanks to this centre. It is a busy centre which is why the admin may seem a little slower but I’d hang on there, until you take lessons by the staff here it’s hard to have insight on what a great centre this actually is and how much the coaches know.

Positive experience: The swimming facilities are good - The u-shaped pool connecting the adult pool and childern/kids pool and pool water temperature is good. It is a nice place for swimming.

Positive experience: Took my toddler to public swimming, we had a good time! Receptionist was friendly, we enjoyed the main pool and the beach area, and walking through the little water jets. Plenty of other families there but not too crowded. It was pretty clean and looked fresh. It is very handy for the bus as well. The water was a little cool but not too bad. Would recommend bringing pool toys for kids, and note you need a pound coin for the locker. There was nowhere specific to leave a buggy, receptionist advised us to leave it on the side of the pool, but I'd probably check each time.

Fantastic experience: Both the gym and swimming pool are super fantastic❤❤❤ I really love exercising at Langley Leisure Centre every Wednesday and Friday! There used to be a water slide when I was little, but now things have changed. I'm so glad that swimming and gym are two of my favourites to be me fit and healthy.

Negative experience: I took my daughter for swimming lessons and the teacher she didn’t know at all how to deal with kids specially with the ones which was there for 1st time . Me as mother I didn’t feel that my daughter was safe at all she was not paying attention at children properly she was standing far from them . My daughter at some point slipped and was going under the water and i was telling the teacher to help her as she was going under the water and she was saying” It’s ok don’t worry “ how is that possible that she was this much careless with a child which was having her first lesson in her life this is unacceptable behaviour and reaction from her as a teacher, I had a bafd experience and I won’t recommend this place for children lessons specially for the beginners also water was very cold . I only let my daughter for max 10 min in the water as i was not able to take the stress and anxiety what I was feeling because of the careless teaching and also she was very cold and distant person I won’t even like her to be my teacher as an adult she is definitely unfitted for this job she had a very sour and repulsive face and attitude If I could I will give her —5⭐️

Fantastic experience: Swimming classes are really helpful and great

Negative experience: Visited on a Sunday evening. Pool was freezing cold, hardly any lights on in the pool area too. Only 1 of 4 hairdryers working. Jacuzzi was also very cold. Looks like they are trying to save money on heating costs, but then they should give us a refund on the membership fees. Immediate action is required. We pay our membership fees on time, so the facilities should be up to standard.

Negative experience: Just joined , but will cancel in 1 month . Waste of time standing around waiting while others . People are sitting on the phone holding the equipment , you better of joining a different gym with size .... size matters

Negative experience: Need a booking for a casual swim? Also only 10 spots every session? If you are looking for a casual swim when you have some free time this is not the place.

Negative experience: Not that good, for that price and not many booking slots, rude staff that have absolutely no idea what they're doing and ignorant manager. Equipment constantly breaks and very small amount of it.

Negative experience: Pool was freezing cold! Too cold for a baby to be in. I have never been in such a cold pool. Nothing to play in there any more. Not even a little slide for kids. Such a boring pool. Seems this pool is all about the swimming lessons these days as I’ve tried to go in the past on a Saturday and it’s swimming lessons all morning. Not enough showers and the water kept running cold. Should be bigger showers for mums to shower their kids in private. Half of the changing rooms weren’t open and the floor was filthy. Didn’t see anyone clean up in the hole 2 hours I was there.

Positive experience: mixed feelings. There are too many booking slots for the pool, around 12 per lane. As a result it gets really packed most of the time which means you don't have much space to swim and it's easy to bump into other people by accident. Steam room and jacuzzi break down fairly frequently which is rather disappointing. A lot of lockers are unusable either because of damaged locks or wrist bands ( you can leave the key near the pool if the wrist band is damaged .I believe membership holders should be allowed the luxury of own locker but I guess that's not feasible. No complaints about staff, they seem ok. Water dispensers available which is a plus. The main reason i chose this centre was that it's walking distance for me. I'd say if you're after a relaxed swim every now and then - it's great. For more vigorous sessions or professional training- I can't recommend it. Update - Nov 2022- all lockers now have brand new wrist bands.

Negative experience: Poor customer service. They can’t follow up on online inquiries and never answer the phone calls.

Negative experience: Even don't want to give this single star to them but without it can't give review. They don't have any appropriate system even you have membership. I am paying from last three months for membership but they didn't permit me for swimming by sayinv that you are not permitted to go beafore 9. While taking money they don't show you plan and after then they deny you for using it.

Positive experience: Pool area looks fresh and bright, same as the old one but less to do. No more little slide and the larger side has gone as the jacuzzi is now in the corner, should have left it alone disappointed for the kids does have floats depending on what session you book and the shallow end has what feels like the AC blowing cold air on you.

Positive experience: The gym is great, with the latest machines. However, trying to get a space in the fitness or swimming sessions is a struggle. Even after paying a monthly membership, you have to wait until a week before to book. It’s literally fastest finger first! It’s a shame, the sessions are popular so they should have more of them, or try and do something where more people can book these sessions. Staff are quite helpful.

Fantastic experience: Great aquarobics instructor on Thursday mornings.

Negative experience: Experience deteriorated since the management handed over to Everyone active (previously absolutely fitness), and it deteriorates every week you visit the place. The jacuzzi never works, the steam room works but is closed anytime without any notice. Due to work, have less time to visit, but when you have time, the places won't be available or the sessions won't be scheduled at that time, so you are not left with many options. They have clubbed usage of steam room and jacuzzi with swimming although I am interested in using steam room and jacuzzi only. So if the swimming is fully booked you can't even go for steam room. During absolutely fitness time, your membership allowed you to go to any centre in Slough, but now it is to.one centre only. If you want more centres you have to pay more, although you will go to one.centre only at one time. Kids swimming classes gets cancelled sometimes but no money back considering the classes are so expensive. Showers don't provide hot water many times. Pool water is at less than desired temperature mostly. Whenever there are issues the employees there don't have a clue. Moreover sometimes some of there don't even respond properly or speak rudely. Don't have option of 0 stars otherwise would have given that. The current members are seriously thinking of leaving the centre in bulk. The management and the Slough borough council need to intervene urgently otherwise the dissatisfaction is growing day by day. Another horrible experience happened last Friday (16/09/22) - booked for health suite from 06:30 to 07:30 pm. There was a slot from 07:30 pm as well, but a guy (I am told that guy is centre manager) came and very rudely swung open the steam room door and asked us to leave without even giving any warning. We were disappointed but then got ready to leave but checked again to make sure that there is a session at 07:30 pm. When we pointed out to him, he peevishly apologised that it was his mistake. When a centre manager is so rude, what do you expect of other staff. When the centre manager does not know the schedule of the centre, what do you expect from other staff.

Negative experience: If you are booking this centre for the swimming pool, I would say that you can find some better place. First of all getting your slot is the biggest huddle after paying 30+ pounds. If you are looking for the spa, you don't need to heat it up as 8-10 members standing inside such a small place would automatically make it hot. Gym was better, but most of the equipments were "not working".

Fantastic experience: A fantastic all in one leisure center for residents of Langley village. It's main features are two swimming pools and a well equipped gym.

Negative experience: I didn’t even want to give them 1 star. People who work at reception, can’t even write an email address correctly. They are confused about their own rules and procedures.

Negative experience: Worst place I have ever seen, Especially at the pool always have their own set of rules which changes every week, jacuzzi never works and always out of order. Manager does not even know the meaning for the word “customer service”.At least 5 to 8 equipment in the gym will be out of order. No one cares about any complaints. This place is in serious trouble and needs proper management and care. Some staff really work hard but not supported enough by the worst management and maintenance.

Negative experience: The worst service ever! I only give one star because I can't give them less! I had a membership for the swimming lesson, the water is cold and my little one got flu for 3 weeks! When I told them and I asked for a refund they said they can't do anything! The couch doesn't care about the little ones! I would definitely not recommended to go there!

Negative experience: The gym is equipped well enough, but it doesn't open until half 6 and this unfortunately means I can't get to work on time if I want to work out in the morning. Evening workouts are a no-no for me, so I guess I'll keep looking for somewhere else :(

Positive experience: Hour slots. But no one monitoring. Some life guards more observant than others. Would deff return to maybe do lane swim next time. And maybe check out the gym

Positive experience: Almost everything you need. Good space. Great price. Occasionally crowded like most gyms. Best in the morning

Positive experience: Changing area could do with a face-lift. Staff are generally good with cleaning etc but during swimming lessons people are repeatedly told not to leave there stuff in the changing rooms but this continues to be an issue and no one ever seems to do anything about it, frustrating! Lockers are a refundable £1 coin - it's not hard to use one, just lazy or while you're child is swimming take the stuff to the watching bay. Lack of seating for parents while waiting. Always found reception helpful and there is plenty of parking, select few with car chaging ports, mostly used by cars that dont need charging as its right by the enterance. Car park also used for driving lessons, bay parking etc.

Negative experience: Advertised as open but closed (27/12/2021). Wasted journey only to find the car park locked.

Positive experience: The pool was much warmer than usual so the family were happy to get in the pool.
