Fantastic experience: I think it is great. My daughter did all eight stages with different swim teachers and they were great. She is now 15 and is doing swim squad on Tuesdays anf that is great. she is super stong

Negative experience: Whilst the swimming teachers are great, the rest of the staff are dreadful. Incompetent and with zero comprehension of customer service. Whenever I have had an issue or poor service, I always receive shrugged shoulders and "we can't do anything ". I would not recommend- I gave two stars as the swim teachers themselves are good.

Negative experience: We booked badminton courts couple of times with very upset experience. The first time we visit, no staff help to set up the net, we wasted 15mins of our session to set it up. The second time, we arrived 15mins early and waited patiently at the side of the court, hoping to start our session on time. However we were being harassed and kicked out of the court by few local british people. Not sure if it's because we are not local and being treated so badly. What's more, even we reminded few times the staff to set up the court for our session, it took them 20mins to come to help us. We expressed our disappointment about the delay of our session, the staff at first informed us that they would offer a free session as compensation. However, after we finished our session and wanted to book for our free session, they changed their mind saying they could not offer and will let us know after they discussed with their Manager [Jacky]. And now 1 whole week has passed, no staff ever contacted us. I have to say, this is a very poorly managed sports centre and will never visit again.

Negative experience: wheel sports centre is probably the worst run gym I’ve ever attended, The staff don’t seem to know what they’re doing and the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. You given an information that turns out not to be right and no one seems to care less.. I would say that if you are an experienced proper trainer, I don’t think this would be the gym for you. I think it’s for pensioners kids and people who just want to dabble in training anyone training for an event or a serious trainer I don’t think it’s a suitable gym. . It really is run like a countryside backwater gym, I mean, it says it all really that they shut at 4 o’clock on a Saturday afternoon and 2 o’clock on a Sunday afternoon,.

Her teachers, Duncan and Rebekah, are absolutely amazing! They are patient, encouraging, and make each lesson enjoyable while ensuring my daughter builds confidence in the water.

Positive experience: Hygiene standards are improving. There's still storm bugs in the dry and poolside showers, but at least they're not swarming now. Still no foot spa entering the swimming pool but the showers have finally been repaired. The only comms through Facebook are member recruitment drives and self congratulatory pats on the back so no improvement there. However, there has been a noticeable improvement in the overall standards during the course of this year. If that continues then I'll add another star.

Fantastic experience: I started my first Aqua Aerobics session this morning and I was nervous because I can't swim but the instructor made me comfortable and supported me and kept an eye out for me in the front and I must say I really enjoyed it and I will keep going and the changing rooms and lockers are brilliant and met some lovely people on my session. Lovely staff and venue. The instructor made it fun for us and I can't wait to go back next week and will continue with the course. Every thing was clean as I expected it to be. The Aqua Aerobics will certainly help my joints.

Positive experience: *edit* Two years on from my previous review and the gym and the company managing it have improved enormously, the facilities are still tired but being looked after by a friendly and helpful team. New manager has made a huge impact and a new set of staff, including Alan the cleaner, has made all the difference. It's still got a way to go before it gets 5 stars but this is a marked improvement and feels like it's become a hub of the community again. Well done to the management.

Positive experience: Decent Sports centre, swimming pool is really great and so are the swim teachers. Showers can do with a bit of makeover. Staff is friendly. Easy accessible, plenty of parking and ample seating area for parents, caretakers, etc.

Negative experience: I was at The Weald Sports Centre on Sunday 1st of October to continue with the swim teacher course that's running there. As not only a lifeguard myself but as a lifeguard trainer/assessor, I was disgusted to see one of the lifeguards pull their phone out and proceeded to tap away for a couple seconds before putting it back down on the window sill, and proceed to doodle on a bit of paper! I understand that this is (hopefully) a one off occurrence but that fact of the matter is that a lifeguard pulled their phone out and started using it with a pool filled with people. To add to the swim teacher course, the advert had been around the site for 1.5 months before the start date but the management team had completely missed the fact that the times of the course went outside of their opening hours, meaning we have missed valuable time in our course timetable. We ended up getting put in an old first aid room, which wasn't even set up fully when we arrived, which is on the side lines of the sports hall so whenever an activity was on, it would echo in the room being extremely disruptive. It seems the management team are putting effort into the wrong areas when they should be focusing more on the public view of the site and it's operations. Apart from the that, the reception staff are lovely to talk too and make an effort in making sure you feel welcome and will help with any questions/issues you have, definitely hard working people!

Negative experience: Don’t even bother with this leisure centre they are awful. Started a membership a few months ago. Nice and easy to start up gave them my details all done and ready to use. started using the gym and there is too many people for too little equipment. Most of the time the equipment wasn’t working. The whole time I was there the water fountain wasn’t working it still wasn’t working when I left so you can’t get any water. The air conditioner was also broken all the time as well. There is never any staff on the counter so when you need to speak to someone you are left waiting for ages. When you eventually get hold of a member of staff they don’t know what they are doing because the are all new because the staff never stay long every time I went in it was a new member of staff. No point trying to give them a call either because their phones are on silent. I started at a new gym one in tunbridge wells. So I went to cancel the membership at the leisure centre. The person who assisted me didn’t know what he was doing. So another member of staff had to tell him what to do. He said it was all cancelled and wouldn’t have to pay anymore. Then they charged me for another month. So I went to the leisure centre and they said that I needed to give a months notice and I got sent an email when I signed up with the terms and conditions. Never got sent an email or got told I had to give a months notice and wouldn’t be able to get a refund. No point bothering with this gym just pay extra to travel to a better one in tunbridge wells or somewhere else.

Negative experience: Barely any lane swimming sessions (none in the afternoon), the pool is constantly too warm to exercise properly (30°C+), the showers are currently switched off but no-one knows why (?!), cleanliness is severely lacking, communication is almost non-existent. If you live less than 30 minutes from an alternative pool, go there instead - we've been told things will get better for almost 2 years now, and they haven't at all.

Negative experience: Do not trust this gym!! They took out a double payment a couple of months ago and I've been fighting to get my money back. Countless emails, phone calls and visits to the Cranbrook site and they just ignore you 100%. On top of that, swimming is constantly cancelled last minute. I honestly never write reviews but this has pushed me to breaking point. Update: it is now 3 months on and even though they've agreed they owe me the money, all they say is that the payment is pending but they won't give me any indication of when I will recieve it. They're head office ignore all communication and although I've asked to escalate to regional manager, I'm just being yet again ignored. Never experienced a company that treat customers so disgustingly.

Positive experience: This is a review of the pool, not the gym; I know this has been remodelled but I haven't used it. The pool itself is nice, it can be raised at the far end to accommodate very small children to safely learn to swim. The instructors here are also nice, taking their time to patiently help children learn. However, the cleanliness of the changing area is awful. It seems to never be cleaned and is regularly dirty with mud, hair and other random bits and pieces. If your child is down the far end, the best view for this is outside so be prepared for some cold viewing!

Negative experience: THIEVES!!!! My partner and I moved to the area a year ago. We started going to this sports center and a couple of months ago we decided to cancel the subscription since we had many things to do at home, but we intended to return. I had to pay a monthly fee the day I canceled it, which I didn't care about. My surprise was when a few days later, they took the monthly fee from my bank account again. Both me and my partner have called, sent emails and even gone to the center. They have ignored me, they have told us that they would give us the money, but it never arrives. My partner has been ignored again. I have seen that we are not the first, that this company is dedicated to stealing money from its clients and then does not want to return it. We are all suffering from an economic crisis, and these shameless believe that they can play with people's lives and money. I'm sure £57 is nothing to them. For me it means that me and my partner can eat a whole week. It disgusts me that there are people like that in the world. If you don't pay, they don't take long to call you, put you on lists of delinquents, etc... We will not return to this center ever again. It's a shame since it's the closest to our new house. This company has sports centers throughout the country. I hope my message helps people to decide and go to other centers, because the only thing they do here is steal. FUSION LIFESTYLE. Negative experience: In the last year I have had about 40 evening swims cancelled, quite often with no notice. Nowthey have stopped evening Lane swimming altogether. I have tried to cancel my membership twice but they keep taking my money. Its a shame as all they need is a decent manager to turn it round. I only gave 1 star as you can't give 0.

Negative experience: Very, very disappointed ...been coustmer for 10 year there.... Now it's the worst management ever! It's 4th time now consecutive drove there , from Maidstone to do my activities with my team...( been paid aswell )and they closing before the program to finish 10 pm,( 1 hour early...all the time diferite excuses) No one call , to give me any notice...or alternativ....after been coustmer for 10 years...such a shame The manager last week or the lady in charge tonight, there ...said , she had to cancel the activitie without call or give any notice to us because she's or his tired...or not feeling well Contacting the aerial manager Martin, which i get the phone number from the desk...it was very disappointed because they give his phone number the staff... Instead to sort the situation, because his management mess up this month, which it's under his duty , prefer to say i will refund the money and i will call you tomorrow between 9- and watever our... I wish to find out how have this place and to see how mr.Martin and his management look after there business...doesn't care about coustmers for many years Aswell so many bad reviews...and no one doing nothing.....we pay how much you ask for what?services 0000 How will pay my waste time, petrol and stress to travel there and coming back home, because you cancel in last minute ( with all the time diferite excuses and closed the building beafor the normal time which you posted on the desk for all week.. Negative experience: If I could give '0' stars for The Weald Sports Centre in this review, I would. After taking a look at this gym in November 2022, my wife and I signed up at a time when they had an introductory offer of no membership fees in December and January. However on both of those months full membership fees were deducted from our account. Despite raising this on at least six occasions with their staff at the gym and through the complaints procedure suggested on their website, not one person has attempted to address this problem and they have not refunded us the money that was deducted. We have ultimately had to raise this issue with the council to resolve as the Weald Sports Centre clearly cannot be trusted to reimburse us for the money that they deducted incorrectly. We are also going to be cancelling our memberships as a result. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of joining this gym to go elsewhere because the customer service is absolutely atrocious.

Negative experience: Swimming lessons consistently cancelled since July, in September - 5 consecutive weeks. The worst is that I cannot get refunds - the refund "process" I a joke. First the staff at the centre didn't have forms, they were taking sensitive information on bits of paper; there is no way of getting in touch with the mythical head office and finance department. They paid back a fraction of money they owe me, do not respond to emails. It's a total scam. They continue to take on direct debit happily. No proper contracts issued either. Fraud police should get on to the people behind the organisation. The changing areas and showers are disgusting- dirty, smelly, never cleaned. Staff at the front desk are nice and polite but helpless.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 I would Don't even bother with this centre! Constantly letting customers down. Have previously booked child swimming lessons and had calls 10 minutes before the lesson starts to say that it was cancelled. We also go to clubs etc that rent out halls but now they are being cancelled by the centre. Very poorly managed and head office don't even want to deal with it or give refunds.

Negative experience: Shocking swim school if you can even call it that. 3 weeks running our swimming lessons on a Friday has been cancelled. This week we wasn’t told either which makes it worse. The last two weeks the swim teacher was on annual leave ‘they apparently couldn’t find cover’. Makes me so angry how we are paying for a service yet not getting it.

Negative experience: Recently joined here for the gym, but the place is very very run down which is a shame as it's the only gym/leisure centre remotely nearby. Wouldn't use the pool. The gym is going to be renovated which will be nice but I don't think we'll keep our membership. Staff never answer the phones or any messages. The gym equipment is okay, there isn't much of it but it does the job.

Negative experience: Booked a lane swimming session this morning, the system took my payment and confirmed the booking. I turned up for the session and was waiting pool side, to then be told once no lifeguard turned up that the pool session was cancelled. I then asked for my money back and was told I have to fill out a form and it will take 10 days to get my refund. I was not contacted in anyway despite sharing my email and number in the system, and after a 40 minute round trip I am thoroughly fed up with the service provided here. Not to fault the staff on duty (this is obviously a result of negligent management). It's all well and good investing £250k in a new gym, but I would suggest focusing on getting the basics right. 1. Provide your staff with the resources to provide the service you are selling, 2. Enable staff the means to make amends if refunds are required (cash on front desk, or vouchers to provide free sessions), 3. Request the 3rd party, or developer who runs your booking platform to enable the front desk staff to adjust the availability of sessions within the platform so that people cannot book sessions which the staff know cannot be run.

Negative experience: Family swims and swimming lessons cancelled with little to no warning, and then its an uphill battle to get a refund. Currently 8 weeks and counting. Emails are ignored, calls unanswered, staff fob us off each time we go in there, and they haven't even adhered to their own complaints procedure as on their website - as they have ignored that as well!! The pool itself is often freezing, the toilets and changing rooms dirty and unhygienic. As the only local leisure centre its a real shame and disappointment.

Negative experience: The pool is great. There are not nearly enough lane swimming slots available, this needs to be addressed urgently as I know a lot of people are very fed up with difficulty in accessing. There is no management of those swimming in the wrong lanes which is so very frustrating. Finally, while the staff are great, there are not enough of them to answer phones and keep it clean. The website and payment methods are useless. I’ve had enough and am looking to go elsewhere. No doubt there will be no follow up to this feedback.

Negative experience: This used to be a great sports centre. I have been a member for many years and it has sadly and progressively gone down hill. They recently increased my membership fee without informing me and I have been trying for 4 weeks now to speak to someone in management to explain to me why they have done this. Numerous emails later and no response. Even the staff at the centre, who have also tried to contact them on my behalf have had no response. It seems Fusion are happy to take peoples money for very little in the way of customer service in return. Appalling company.

Negative experience: Probably the worst gym I have ever used, only came here as near where I live. Equipment that gets broken and never fixed, free weights very old and worn. Asked for about three months when cable cross over will be fixed and nobody knows. For free weights your better off working out at home, if you want to use a cross trainer or treadmill it's OK but other than that waste of time!

Positive experience: As gyms go, it’s pretty middling. It’s got everything you need for a good workout. There’s a fairly decent spread of running machines, cross trainers and exercise bikes. One rowing machine (pray it’s not taken). The weight machines cover pretty much all muscle groups and there is a good free weights area. Though the weights are often haphazardly left all over the place. It does however need a decent lick of paint. The sound system is shocking, only ever kiss radio. There are 5 TVs but only one is ever on, and somehow it’s always Antiques Road Trip, not the most inspiring for a workout. Rare you’ll see staff on the gym floor cleaning, or maintaining the space so it looks worn. But this feels more down to lack of staff than effort on those on shift.

Negative experience: I was looking forward to enjoying a local gym but it is under provided with squat racks and the one that they do have is bad quality. No mirror in front of the rack to check depth and form but uncomfortably close to a mirror on the right which could easily be smashed if you moved to much. The weights are not stored in slots but just chucked to the side in no order. The free weights section is too cramped and not enough benches. They seem to have spent plenty on running machines but none on weights. The gym is also dirty and is not very inviting.

Negative experience: As a member I think the gym could be so much better by providing a few simple changes: 1) On more than one occasion both the upstairs and downstairs gyms have run out of hand sanitizer & blue tissue (I've had to ask at reception for them to be refilled) It would be reassureing for the public to know the gyms have been patrolled on a regular basis to ensure the machines have been cleaned, a suggestion would be a visible rota. 2) the WIFI in the top gym doesn't extend. This is very frustrating when listening to music & working out. 3) At least three machines are out of use in the top gym. Doesn't appear to be anything being done to fix them. For a building established in 2000, it looks way older due to the he lack of cleanliness.

Positive experience: This gym has so much potential. Locals have no choice but to use this place unless they want the long drive to one of the neighbouring towns. I have been a member for a few months now and can give many examples of awful cleanliness and lack of supplies such as roll/tissue to clean off equipment. Customer Service isn’t the best (on the occasion you do see someone) most of the time anybody could walk in and make use of the facilities as there is very little presence at reception. Equipment is dated and often faulty. One of the treadmills has been broken at least since I joined, 3/4 months ago. Swimming pool locker room/changing area and facilities also match the above description.

Positive experience: Lovey facilities, especially the pool. Could do with being cleaned a bit more though as changing rooms did have a slight smell. Other than that it was really good value and the only one in the area. I enjoyed my time here a lot.

Negative experience: Been memeber for 5 months now. Most cardio equipment is out of order, broken Tile in the middle of the pool (very dangerous) Broken tile hidden by Traffic cone out side of showers. 3 out of 8 pre showers working. Poo in disabled changing room for weeks. Gym equipment dated. no Abb crunch machine. Expensive for what it is. but its the only place in the area. This could be an amazing place if they fix what is wrong. fingers crossed they will resolve these concerns ASAP and ill change my review

Negative experience: Very run down, only one of four hair dryers work. Lots of lockers out of action, as some of the gym machines. cant listen to radio or tv via gym equipment hardly any classes available to those that work day times

Negative experience: I have been a member of this centre for my sons swimming lessons for a year now and my views of the centre are pretty poor. The facilities are dirty espically the tables and floor in the seating area, dryers have been broken for 5 weeks, the bins are always rammed full, drinks machine has never worked no facilities to get a drink or snack whilst watching lessons unless you want a vending machine, which for the last few weeks have been out of order. It used to have a lovely little cafe, and a creche years ago but these have been removed. The home portal is a nightmare to get to work and I know many people who had problems. The staff seem to stand around and I started picking up rubbish because I was feed up at looking at it. No activities for younger kids to keep entertained whilst the older kids swim. A little play corner is not much of a hardship. I complained about 1 teacher as she was horrible to my son who was nearly in tears and I wasn't the first to complain about this teacher. Current treacher is much better but, I would not recommend and am considering changing. They are happy to take your money but the services are really poor, and when my other son is ready I will not be paying double for this centre. My 1 to star is for his current teacher.

Negative experience: Overpriced and jobsworth staff. Still no idea how to put up a badminton net but still charge over £13 for a court at 8.30 am Saturday or Sunday. Peak time apparently. Nets also peppered with the wrong kind of holes!

Positive experience: Needs some modernisation. Also more evening (after 7pm) group classes would be good. Some of the gym equipment is really tired but you can still get done what you need.

Positive experience: Its a nice clean centre, not hugely modern but it has plenty going on and there's a good sized swimming pool and lots of rooms for classes and for hire for office activities etc. Clean facilities and lots of parking too.

Negative experience: If it wasn't the only place in the area offering what it does, people wouldn't go there. It's alright to be fair but when you go regularly you start to notice things not being quite right. Always busy reception, courts and facilities booked days in advance, lots of queueing, gym equipment out of order, etc.

Fantastic experience: Came hear to use the swimming pool which is lovely. For a small village sports center it has a full length pool (25m) which is unusual and great for training. The showers and changing rooms are clean and in good condition.
