Negative experience: ⚠️ DONT COME HERE ⚠️ I came here to use the swimming pool as a non-member. I can say alot of negative things about this place. Some of the staff here are quite rude and unprofessional. The changing rooms here are disgusting, baby changing facility was locked and out of order, had to change my babys nappy on the seat that people sit on in the changing rooms, the men's toilet had dried feces all over one of the toilet seats. Broken hair dryers, kids fighting in the changing rooms, And my partner told me only one of the female toilets was in use that day. The pool and pool area was ok but because of the changing area and toilets being in a disgusting state etc has really let this place down, this had detured me from ever returning. In all honesty i will be reporting this place to be thoroughly inspected due to its poor hygiene standards not to mention kids fighting being a big security issue, I feel bad for bringing my 4month old baby here not a safe environment to bring babys. I was told my baby wont allowed in the pool (by staff) only on certain days and times . What a waste of £6.20p This only gets you 1hr in the pool. Says on website swimming peak times from 16.00 till 22.00 this is false information I arrived at 4pm only to be told the pool wasn't open untill 7pm for adults swim. Then pool closes at 8pm. What a load of garbage misinformation on the website with no direct number to speak with a receptionist just a load of automated rubbish. ⚠️I most definitely wouldn't recommend coming here. And I will not be returning myself.⚠️

Negative experience: This gym is sexist. They might offer ladies only swim but charge you nearly double the price of a normal swim. If you want to encourage women to swim maybe charge them the normal price of £4.95 rather than £9.75

Positive experience: Friendly environment and good staff. My only suggestion is that they need more stairmaster machine instead of rowing machine. They have like 6 rowing machine and only 2 stairmaster. It is very inconvenient that at times . I highly suggest them to buy two more stairmaster and prolly keep it in the lower gym!! Everything else is fine.

Positive experience: It's fine. Swimming area cleanliness is inconsistent, swimming teachers are inconsistent. Indoor play area suitable for maybe 4-8yo but that would probably depend on childs capabilities. Super busy sometimes. Library isn't very extensive but is a nice social space. Too noisy for study perhaps but ran well. Staff are nice.

Positive experience: Attended to sign up. It's disappointing that the reception area and the staff member gave the impression of a chaotic and disorganised front desk. I'm not sure if there was a shortage of staff or that's how the service is. After numerous interruptions the staff member was finally able to provide the information I required. Suffice to say I did actually sign up so I am looking forward to trying out the facilities. Based on the level of service today, I would suggest that some changes need to be made.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy visiting gym ,swimming pool staff are very friendly and helpful . The facilities are great and specially swimming and sauna have really helped in improving my overall health both physical and mental .

Negative experience: I went to relax and sport as a new member but so disappointed. The sauna door has been broken for so long now. Also, it is closing so early, which makes people rush and give no necessary stress. The showers, lockers, and changing rooms discussing dirty places are offered to people who pay £60 per person. Also the working hours is not enough for working majority at evening. The staff are so kind and very helpful.

Fantastic experience: This center has a good array of activities they offer plus the gym is super nice and tidy love it ☺️

Negative experience: One employee emphasizes no wristband is needed for swimming and only required for the sauna, and on another occasion another employee kicks me out of the pool and gives me a terrible attitude because I am not wearing one. He goes: "..this has always been the rule for years and you need to be wearing one and I don't have time for you.." even though I was very respectful. I said "I can show you my booking on my phone". He goes "I'm not allowed to look at phones" not sure why. He made me go out to the reception area wet and half naked and wait in the reception queue just to get one.

Negative experience: The gym is well-equipped with a good variety of machines, but the main issues are the bad smell caused by some people, which affects everyone, and the unclean showers. The gym management should address these problems by putting up signs encouraging proper hygiene and improving the cleanliness of the shower facilities. Every time I exercise, someone shows up smelling awful.

Positive experience: After a fabulous renovation, this place has become a fantastic and conveniently accessible facility that I've been frequenting regularly! The upgraded gym is a game-changer, and the changing rooms are on point! However, I gotta express my concern about the outdated pool and the lifeguards. ‍♂️ While the pool itself is okay, the "swim for all" area has shrunk so much that it feels like a crowded bathtub. And the lifeguards... they've gone from chill to super strict. Before, you could show off your swimming skills and get access to the deep end, but now, anyone under 16 is banned. Come on, guys, let's loosen up a bit! ✌️ Despite this one complaint, I'll keep coming back because everything else is awesome. But please, lifeguards, ease up on those strict rules!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, there is no security in this club, despite the security cameras, I was beaten and there is no responsibility in this complex.

Positive experience: Soft play was relatively new, staff were pleasant. Only issue was young child were not permitted into the ball pit which I get in terms of if older children are in it could be dangerous. But I think they should have a ball pit section for younger children also.

Positive experience: Very difficult to get a booking..BE WARN ⚠️ . I love swimming but I found this centre impossible and even when you book online and proceed to centre, you entery or access will be refuse because their system not accurate [hit and mis] which will cost you a lot of embarrassment .

Negative experience: Did not allow me at the family fun instead a meter 3 pool do not there they are scaming you

Negative experience: Worst place and leisure centre I have ever seen.Therefore I don't recommend anyone ever go there specific swimming pool for family those want to enjoy fun time with their kids .we have booked online for family fun (not for proper swimming in deep pool)but when we went they didn't let us go in they asked our young children to go in deep pool for examination whether they can swim or not ,while we didn't book for that one even we haven't been there for private lessons.they just waisted our time with made our kids feel sad.literally they got bloody restriction with unpleasant service.

Positive experience: Nice gym, friendly staff, good equipment....downsides are the ladies toilets near the gym always have a strong damp smell and prices of membership have shot up ..... to the point I'm going to look elsewhere:(

Fantastic experience: Went to the local Hillingdon Council library as the one near my home is being rebuilt. When they finish rebuilding, I hope they take some tips from the Botwell one. Great customer service.

Negative experience: Donna who runs some of the gym classes is rude and inconsiderate. Quality of her classes are horrible, she's always arriving late even though her wages are paid by us. She has different rules for different people, shows straightforward racism and discrimination towards people that aren't able to reply to her, who's incompetent at her job.

Positive experience: Great staff who are always helpful. Soft play is expensive for just the hour which is the only disappointment but what a lovely team of people who work here :)

Positive experience: Swimming pool is decent. Shower temperature is very hot but the pool is managed well!

Fantastic experience: Went swimming for a couple of weeks. Good facilities and fairly clean. Staff are helpful and friendly as well.

Negative experience: Worst place for Adult Swimming Lessons. They had no specific teacher in our Class. Every Week our teacher changed. Waited for month that now will get better but ended up wasting money with no progress. How can you expect your students to learn with a new staff every class. I will not recommend anyone to learn Swimming here.

Positive experience: Hi, I booked through website page but I was unable to attend so I wanted a refund but I could not because the page was showing me like the picture this is not a joke you can see what happens in their website

Fantastic experience: Had a party here for my nephew and it was fantastic!!!! rooms and soft play clean and tidy and very attentive helper (theon) waited on us hand and foot very polite and helpful young man really helped us relax and enjoy ourselves.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Great leisure complex with lots to do e.t.c. swimming, yoga, gym, cafe, children's soft play area and creche.

Positive experience: I’ve been attending for 4 months now. Here’s my feedback (gym, pool and sauna) GYM: Gym has a good variety of machines. Not enough carabiner clips for cable machines. People always waiting or needing to take clips from other cables so they can work out. Only 4 or 5 benches in the whole gym. Not enough. Gym smells of BO frequently. Members need to apply deodorant/ roll on (not gyms fault). TLDR: bad gym etiquette and lack of carabiner clips and benches. Spacious gym with a good variety of machines. SWIM + SAUNA Pool is clean. Lifeguards not the friendliest of people. One side of the changing room always smells of sewage/ literal poop. Really confusing app booking system when booking pool and sauna together. Could be streamlined. Sauna is a box which fits maximum 8 people at a time TLDR: clean pool, changing room smells really bad, bad UI in app. Small sauna

Negative experience: Worst place for swimming lessons. The teachers are inexperienced, lazy, unprofessional, and all it shows. They are not built to teach children to become top-tier swimmers.

Negative experience: strict swinging coach 5 pound if you miss out on a lesson but i was stage 6 but then stopped because we done the sameee thing every single weekkk how boring plus it so expinsive my mom became poor of it

Negative experience: The time is too short for( swimming for all) as I am regular customer they do not care. I have 3 kids no discounts as we have to pay online. very sad.I felt very sad when they asked us to come out from the pool and kids wanted to stay more as we used to.

Negative experience: One of the worst website I have ever been to. Every time ask me to create account I book swooning yesterday again says too many account. Time wasting.

Negative experience: After my daughter refused to play at the gym area I asked the receptionist lady if we could book a soft play session and she said there's no availability for the next hour (there were literally 2 kids in the soft play area). After I checked online, I realised that she lied, there were available slots. Anyway we waited for an hour. While in the soft play area, another lady ran after me asking to see my wrist band in case I smuggled in, which made me feel so uncomfortable. The place needs to work on their employees's attitudes. 2 stars only because the prices are reasonable and my daughter likes it but I'm not going back anymore.

Negative experience: Update the website, wrong advertisement for Sunday gymnastics under Inclusive section causing inconvenience and wasted journeys . Failing on the child's expectation looking forward to a fun packed gymnastic session

Positive experience: There is something for everyone, children can play or swim and adults can go to the gym or they can go into the library to read books. Also there are online computers you can work with.

Positive experience: Really nicely designed soft play, good variety of food at the cafe, price is ok. They need lockers for the parents bags/coats, they need to reduce the numbers of children per session, maybe reduce the age of the kids allowed because the older kids have no manners and are spoiling it for the younger ones. The ball pit is a joke because the kids are playing too rough. It's an accident waiting to happen.

Negative experience: the swimming pool is good but the gym has a very bad culture. as a headscarf wearer the people there would STARE AT ME. No shame in their stare eyes wide open not even from the corner of their eyes. I had to change gym it makes me very uncomfortable. I've tried pure gym and simply gym and they both don't have this problem and have a bigger gym space

Fantastic experience: There are lots of activities at this site, I was specifically there to play badminton, but there is a fully equipped gym and multiple sports halls for all types of sports and games.

Negative experience: Extremely bad service. They don't give a notice when a lesson is cancelled. They take your money even if your lesson is cancelled. They swear infront of kids. Very un professional. Don't put your children at risk.

Negative experience: Gym is good but the male Asian staff that works on gym floor has a rude attitude. Once asked for swim information he rudely said he don’t know and check with reception

Negative experience: instructor was not professional and left child unattended beacuse There were too many children in the swimming pool and my child was swimming alone When the teacher saw him, she made him sit at a place and she said that you are being very naughty..my child felt very bad and she was very rude with my child and If you are not teaching anything to the children then what else will they do playing in the water alone?When I tried to complain in reception,Receptionist lady didn't care.i was very upset. They do not care about any complaints.

Negative experience: Gym smelled of sweat. Nasty. The life guards at the pool left an old lady in the fast lane as she walked up and down the lane and told me to keep to left of the fast lane to allow her to keep walking on the right. There's nowhere to swipe your entry pass for pool and classes so you get fined for non attendance.

Negative experience: Worst experience in my child's swimming lessons. Few of the instructors were not professional and left child unattended. When tried to complain in reception, they were very rude.Finally reported in customer support and there was no proper response. No cleanliness and smelly toilet room and changing rooms. I recommend Hillingdon Leisure centre in terms of teaching and cleanliness than this.

Positive experience: The staff are very friendly. Good facilities for a leisure centre.

Negative experience: The place smells of urine mixed with dirty water throughout the lockers, changing rooms and corridors, the swimming pool is overpowered with chemical probably to hide how unhygienic the place is.

Fantastic experience: I booked a swimming lesson here today, Very good facilities. for the experience I had, it was well worth the £5.60 spent. Well done to Botwell Green and their team.

Negative experience: Worst place ever. I’ve lived around this so called leisure centre and I have countless true facts to share They steal your football or basketball or anything at all if it goes on their property. The staff are unreasonably very bossy / arrogant and mean to kids They once made us waste 5 hours getting swimming gear just to say that we aren’t allowed because “we can’t swim” and I promise i saw a girl going near the deep end struggling to swim. We had to beg for a refund. Their prices for gym and hiring the sports hall are outrageous. They may delete this and no matter how good this leisure centre is for you, it’s truly stupid, full of creeps and is a rip off. I apologise for any spelling mistakes but this review isn’t worth taking take to check for mistakes as Botwell leisure centre is one

Fantastic experience: This place is always kept clean. They’ve got variety of equipments and is always available to use. I find this environment very safe. They’ve also got swimming pool and sauna. Along with that various classes including Zumba. Definitely recommend the botwell gym.

Negative experience: Before Covid-19, womens only swimming only merely costed less than £5 at most and was on a Wednesday night from, if my memory would allow me, 20:00 to 22:00. Now however, tickets cost the outragous amount of £9 per person and are only quick sessions of 50 minutes on a Wednesday morning where most people are at school or work. Understandably, I'll allow the shortening of the time as this is the same applied to every other session however the ticket prices are appalling. Not to mention the uncooperative timings where most women would be at school or work. Where is the thought and care for the women who may not feel comfortable swimming or wearing a swimming costume around men. Where is the accomodation? And why has this change occured? I can only hope it will get better from here. Suffice to say, I will not, or rather cannot swim here again.

Negative experience: Apart from a rude receptionist who wouldn’t even talk and explain to us why we should wait for closed swimming pool while we had booked our ticket and arrived 10 min earlier, we faced to most disgusting changing room we ever seen. So much dirt and imagine Muds were on benches inside the changing rooms. I opened at least 7-8 doors till I found one with less dirts. I checked the swimming water and then decided to go but upon entering I have seen one staff with Blue shirt, he was soaking up floor with Chemicals staffing towards the Children pool. I straight away told to one of the nearest guard and he said: you can use the other side of pool instead , Imagine…. All lockers almost rusted and changing rooms are disgusting for public, specially for babies & children who has the young bodies to tolerate these unacceptable & unhealthy conditions. Almost non of your Blow dryers was working, Moulds all over the shower areas as I promise nobody cleaned there except people who is washing themselves there. We had used our booking max for 20min but I am so sorry for anyone who is using there as usual. All website photos are fake, you never ever faced to this views. Poor management and lack of responsibilities there.

Negative experience: Had really bad experience yesterday (15th Oct).. After Swimming class in changing room a boy was recording ( from his phone) my friend while she was changing her clothes. After screaming that boy tried to run but he couldn't After that he claimed that he didn't have the phone.. My Friend called the police but before police arrived the manager took the boy's phone and deleted the video ( saying that it's our policy to delete it)..[ Not happy with Management policy playing with evidence if it really exist] Any way police came took the statement and arrested the boy. All we can say be careful and be aware of what's going on around you.

Negative experience: I am not the one who usually give reviews. But I am writing this one as i really had very bad experience at Botwell center and that too multiple times. Their front desk staff is very rude. Only reason we have to come here is they have Gymnastics hall which is not available in Uxbridge leisure center. There should be a way to capture or give feedback at centers. I would never recommend this center to anyone.

Positive experience: Overall great for the gym and good opening closing times. Just be wary about cancellation because you have got to give notice (about 20 or 30 days) before they stop charging you. Plan in advance before holidays! That still crushes my motivation to go there so don't let that happen to you! Would have been 5 stars otherwise

Positive experience: I used the library for story time which was really good also the library is lovely and clean and the staff are very helpful, Swimming everytime I go with my baby there's always something with the baby pool either lessons or too many people when I cant take a baby in a freezing cold pool

Fantastic experience: I've tried many gyms locally to Hayes and I'd say this one is the best in terms of value and facilities. The gym is well equipped with a range of machines (some old and new) over two floors - bigger than the Energie one in Hayes. The swimming pool is a great bonus and is perfect for those hot days. Plus an on-site cafe and library. Very good value compared with other gyms locally. My go to!

Fantastic experience: Hardeep is probably the reason why there is great retention of goers. A true gentleman and great asset to the business. If your ever in the area give him a shout. Gyms a good place for beginners but need more louder music

Positive experience: Good sports centre, many classes on daily for both kids and adults. The swimming pools are fairly large, but the pool changing rooms there could be cleaner.

Negative experience: Worst swimming experience I have ever had. I went for a "swim for all session", almost whole pool was closed, we had to share a 10m by 3m space to teach my children how to swim, there were many other people with children. The whole session was a health and safety hazard, people were knocking onto others, getting kicked on the face etc. Staff are not trained to deal with the situation the manager Georgian was rude and unhelpful.

Positive experience: Good gym. Have good and modern equipment and they look to keeping them in good order. The classes and activities are also well staffed.

Fantastic experience: Very lively, lots going on, with youth gymnastics, swimming, a well equipped gym, and library. The library has as well as books, free computer hire (quick sign up), children's zone, quiet study upstairs, and meeting room hire. Coffee sold here too. Plenty of facilities.

Negative experience: On 29.04.22, I got harassed by a swim guard girl- abbey. She wanted me to swim without my float to prove her that I know how to swim. I have been using my float for almost a week now and she interrupted me in-between my session wasting about 15 mins and asked me to float without my float. Such a disgrace. Later, when I spoke with an acting manager Kane Thomas, he showed me the safety policy, which nowhere states that a testing of adults is required. I lost my peace of mind which I sought out of swimming. Feel free to visit the place and expect some nasty behavior by the staff.

Fantastic experience: Booked a badminton court via the 'Better UK' app. Easy access to get into the club, parking wasn't too bad. Courts were good quality and the staff was helpful. No complaints, will definitely book and visit to access other facilities offered.

Positive experience: Not the best. Machines not repaired for weeks at a time. Showers disgusting. Never cleaned. Same detritus in shower, chewing gum, foot plasters in same place for days, sometimes over a week. Gym staff, however, friendly and approachable.

Negative experience: Took someone with special needs and needed help with booking. Was told to do it online. 3 ladies did not bother asking for help. When I finally got online was told pool not open for another 1 and a half hours. 3 ladies chatting at reception but when you call for information, automated call says staff are too busy to answer calls. What a joke

Negative experience: Have been trying to cancel my daughters swimming lessons for the past 3 months !!!! I am very disgusted and shall be taking this further as I’ve been charged for swimming lessons my daughter could not attend as the stupid place was closed due to corona!! Yet they still took my money !! , tried to call to cancel so they don’t charge me again and nope I’ve no hope it’s such a rip off !!

Negative experience: Staff is awesome but I understand that due to covid, the business can't function as usual. But don't expect me to pay the full amount for non-provided services. The timetable for the swimming pool has dramatically been reduced. The sauna is not working either. In the gym, it's hard to find a machine that is working properly. For example, 2 out of the 3 rowing machines don't slide well in the upstairs floor.

Negative experience: Jason and Jenny are absolutely outstanding staff members, they are both so kind and friendly, they never fail to brighten up my day! As for the rest of the staff specially Yusuf is absolutely useless and rude, this gym is much better off without Yusuf.

Negative experience: Worst customer service at all leisure centres I ever been!!! They don’t have a clue what’s going on. Sold me tickets for swimming pool for my autistic son, where the pool was closed. On next Sunday we try to join toddler world at 11 o’clock. Once we get there we was told that it’s moved to 14:30. Again no updates on their website. In both occasions my son has melt down it’s very hard to explain him why not doing promised activities. Shame on you Botwell leisure!!!

Negative experience: Around 4 years I used to go swiming with my kids but unfortunately no hygiene at all very bad smell and after swiming my kids body become itchy plz make some improvement otherwise you will lose your customers. Hygiene is very important the customers most to consider as well.

Fantastic experience: A special thanks to the duty manager Lee today. We called ahead of arriving to find out the pool timings and informed them we were on route. Whilst at the reception, we were turned away due to the fact that the pool was full. Thankfully we requested to speak a manager. We informed Lee we wouldn't ask for a manager had we not called ahead first. Lee had excellent customer service skills and allowed us in to wait for at least a certain few out of the pool. We are extremely grateful to Lee, especially as it was our daughter's first ever time in a pool.

Negative experience: The worst place to send your child to take swimming lesson. My daughter has been in stage 1 for almost a year and still has not progressed. I have changed her teacher as she was reluctant to teach. She spent most of her lesson time on the tablet (the one that she uses to register the children ). Her new teacher had her for 3 lessons and she said my daughter has passed and I will get an email confirming her next level ie level 2 via email. Call the customer service and asked them am still waiting for their confirmation. Then I was just told no she has not passed yet. My daughter was very disappointed as she was looking forward to her next level. I am leaving that place. No improvement at all.

Negative experience: Our first and last time of using the leisure centre. Both pools had restricted space due to swimming lessons taking place throughout our whole visit. Waiting room to watch your child in the room so small and not enough seating. Cafe closes at 1pm on a Saturday which was unaware off. Partner and daughter said mixed changing room was disgusting and smelt of urine and was dirty. Will not be returning

Positive experience: The gym is nice and the library and cab being connected is excellent. Where this place let’s itself down is the parking. There’s a few disabled bays but if you go on a day when there’s a special disabled class on then you have no hope. A lot of non disabled people nick the spaces to wait for people to come out and this frustrates me no end. Able bodied people can be so lazy and selfish. The traffic wardens are always wandering about which I think helps to stop people doing this but they still try their luck.

Negative experience: I go here regularly and I can tell you to never get changed in the pool side changing rooms. There is hair all over the floor and wearing overshoes wont help either. Only gave 2 stars because of staff and swimming lessons. Don't be surprised if you don't find your pound In the lockers as someone has probably taken it.

Fantastic experience: Well maintained, not spotless but clean. Outdated changing rooms but they do offer lots of facilities under one roof. Good value for money. Friendly staff always patrolling gym floor which is nice.

Negative experience: An awful gym. Dirty, unsafe and a complete disregard for those that use the gym. Most exercise classes run late. You are unlikely to progress as a swimmer whether you are taking adult lessons or lessons for your children. At one point my daughter (pre-school stage 1) was put in a class with stage 1 children due to staff shortage. There was one swimming instructor to st least 16 children - unsafe. As well as this both my wallet and phone were stolen. Little consideration was shown by staff members .

Negative experience: My son has been going there for almost 3 years. The swimming area stinks of urine, there's body hair on the floors. After 3 years I've made him to David Lloyd's even though this is far for us as we live 5 minutes from this gym, but safety has no price tag. Extremely unprofessional staff!

Negative experience: By far the worst leaisure centre in the borough. The changing area is disgustingly filthy along with the toilets. Staff are rude. My son recently attended swimming lessons here to which I have now finally removed him, due to lack of safety for children. One Sunday due to the small pool having chemical issues they put the young ones over the far side of the deep pool!!! After watching through the viewing area thinking this pool is far to deep for my son (alarm bells) I then watched my son jump into the pool and not resurface, as I rushed to pull him from the class and the instructor telling me he said he could swim! Was the last straw. How I kept my cool! He's just turned four and you believe him when he says he can swim!!! hence taking the class in the first place to learn the basics of swimming and confidence building?? They run all classes with lack of staff, so staff to class ratio (high risk). Profit before safety. No child learns anything from Week to week waste of time and money as they change teaching staff on a regular basis and all they do is splash their feet, they must recieve less than 5 minutes of any child teacher time so no childs ability is known and progression rarely updated, children of all ages are put into the same classes when it states classes/age groups for lessons. preschool classes have been left off for the first stages where my son should have been. Life guards are oblivious and to busy chatting up the opposite sex. Needs a huge overall! realistically needs shutting down, deep clean and staff training. Avoid like the plague!!!! Or catch it!!

Negative experience: Very rude and unprofessional customer service. Apart from the fact that there are only 3 baby changes in the whole building (which i dont understand why is it like that when they have classes for babies then why not providing enough changing area for them?!) and loads of others,which is a bit unfair treatment. The pool, and changing areas are all so dirty, disgusting!!!! Shame on you guys for promoting yourselves as unique!! Also there's no new thing taught at swimming classes always the same thing. Only once we had the opportunity of having Monica for one class and i think she was going the extra mile and showed us many new things. Never been previously informed if a class has been cancelled. Although they insisted on filling out the contract with a number which i did! They promise to refund you if one class has been cancelled for technical reasons. They never did to me! Again unfair treatment! Shame!!! Would NOT recommend!!!

Negative experience: I use the facilities mainly for swim school for the kids. Unless you are lucky to get an exceptional teacher - like Monica who is faultless - the pace of progress is frustrating. After 10 months, my son is stuck in the same stage. I did complain but they didn’t seem bothered. My daughter was 97 percent or thereabouts in stage 4 for months and then got fed up and quit. Changing rooms and toilets are awful. So much improvement needed

Negative experience: Not let kids to even sit in the small pool without an adult even he's a member and soon his swimming lesson start. Why safeguard there??? They just making some parents life hard. Showers and toilets are dirty aswell.

Positive experience: Centrally located so it's easy to get to. Parking availability is within tolerance. Swimming pool is good but staff should regulate it a bit better, whilst people use it should try to stick to play area and swimming lanes in proper manner, some people spent most time chatting in swimming lanes than actually swimming. Staff is not particularly friendly and not making an effort to move queues along. Changing facilities are very dirty and unhygienic. Weekends when kids having swimming lessons, cafeteria should be open so parents have places to have a coffee and wait for their kids.

Negative experience: The place needs an entire new management that is strict and firm on their staff. They also need to raise the price for memberships and invest more in ventilation of the gym as the gym turns into a sauna in the summer.

Negative experience: If it was not for the fact of taking my grandson swimming lessons, it's the most filthy pool in Middlesex. Last week some one trod MUD through on the floor and changing room, DISCUSTING. NO ONE EVER cleans the changing rooms or floor, ALWAYS leaving clothes in Changing rooms, leaving clothes in lockers, NOT paying for lockers, this place needs to be reported to the health and hygiene people. DO SOMETHING about it! so many people are complaining!! Someone should go around and SORT out the problems.

Positive experience: Nice sports centre. Plenty of parking when I go now that it has revamped its parking. However: > Could do with a few more gym equipment > The swimming pool is a bit on the small side for adults > Could also do with more variety of studio classes > Needs more water points too.. Only one upstairs apparently is in the women's only gym section and downstairs its in the gym itself!.. Doesn't really help..

Fantastic experience: Staff are very pleasant. Varied fitness classes for everyone at different fitness levels. Managers listen and try to resolve any problems members may experience. Also plus point is that Botwell Leisure Centre is now open from 6am....

Positive experience: I had used the library service to help me with my studies. Around 3/4pm the youths decided to crash the Library's silent area and shout. Unfortunately It distracted me off my studies, there was a security guard which didn't help much as he as clearly clueless to what he was doing. I think it's better if the Library came with a membership scanner to scan your card and enter the library, only for those who intend to use its service carefully.

Negative experience: Had the worst visit today to Botwell green leisure centre. As one of the customers had accident by the pool, one of the swimming teachers called "Helen" started to shout out at people and have raised her voice over me when I have kindly asked if we need to leave and if it is going to be closed for the day. Absolutely disgusted with customer service as they have forgotten that we are the customers. Additionally life guard have been sat doing nothing and could not realise for over 20 mins that customer is struggling in the pool while having stroke. We have been able to see this !!!! Going now through formal complaint with Hillingdon Council as they are not going to do anything with it... One more thing: changing rooms and absolutely dirty and could be cleaned bit better....

Negative experience: Lockers used to take £1 coins to securely lock using a key. That was replaced with a padlock only system, and the result was someone breaking into my locker and stealing my wallet. I used the exact padlock that I bought from the gym, and the person was able to break it. I understand they're not liable for any theft, however, the poor decision making to change the locking system directly caused this burglary as it would not have been otherwise possible.

Negative experience: Where do I start…… firstly its located in one of the worst cess pits in the area , Hayes Town, its such a shame that this brand new building was the replacement to the old Hayes Swimming pool which was legendry ( it featured in a Mr bean series where he was hanging off the diving board ) this new building is disgusting , the toilets stink of piss and are filthy, the changing area is overcrowded & also filthy. The actual swimming area during the week is over crowded with swimming lessons and general swimmers are limited to just 2 lanes for the whole pool, you always get the someone who is swimming like the slow boat to China in the fast lane holding everyone up so both lanes end up being slow lanes which is frustrating to say the least, the parking is atrocious considering there are 2 car parks there is never a space and when there is one its an anxious scramble to secure it as there are so many predators waiting to pounce. For people with long hair forget it they don’t have hair dryers but have a row of hand dryers to dry your hair instead? Not sure how this works? out of 4 of them only 2 currently work but some clever lady has worked out that there is a plug underneath the shelf so she brings her own hair dryer, fantastic idea but unnecessary to say the least this is a new building and they don’t even have hair dryers…. The children’s swimming lessons progress is supposed to be uploaded online via the better portal , again this hardly seems to be updated and rarely accurate so whats the point of it being there….. the swim classes for the children are extremely over crowded and each child gets just about 5 mins of actual direct tuition applicable to themselves, last session the teacher spent most of his time splashing the children with his feet than actually teaching , give me £15.00 and I will happily do that ! there are also not enough showers for the amount of people who come to this pool and your average wait during the week day and lesson time is approx. 10 – 15 mins to just shower , we give up and just shower at home. Overall very disappointing to say the least, avoid this place and pay the little bit extra elsewhere. I have seen comments about the staff being rude I havent experienced that as of yet but can see that the staff in the pool have a bit of an attitude so am waiting for a clash with them

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. I pay for my membership. I only have one complaint. I went to the library for the first time today as I normally just use the gym. I went to get a book for work and when I got to the section no one else was there. So I found my book and was looking through it until a Somali girl came with her friend and told me to go as she and her friends wanted to use the area. I told her that I pay for membership that I have a right to use the facilities . She laughed and said she gets it for free. Then out of nowhere 5 of her friends came and started talking loudly. They should understand if they get something for free to respect other people who have paid. They should not use a library to socialise but to learn.

Negative experience: We visit this pool in Hayes for the first time on Sunday 19th February 2017 We was a big group of Asian women with our small children. The staff are rude and unhelpful and the lifeguards just rude as we felt they was stairing at us all the time It was so bad we left after 20 mins not to ever return to this place. The lifeguards should concentrate on there job and not on stairing at us. Very unprofessional and made us feel uneasy to the fact that we left. Have you never seen a woman in a swim suite b4.

Negative experience: Been going here 2 years now, and nothing major has changed, gym is severely crowded due to most people going for the weights but 3/4 of the gym is filled with treadmills which are never all in use at the same time, bloody ridiculous! Currently three benches for the entire gym and you can imagine the struggles of 10-15 people queuing for one bench... Also machines are always broken, very unreliable and also extremely basic machines compared to other gyms around Uxbridge! This gym also only has one squat rack which is also the pull up bar and again there is nearly always a que for this, cable fly machine is also a bad one for ques. This gym also only has 3 barbells one of which is significantly less than 20kg and some of the machines have had drinks spilt on them making them sticky and impossible to use! Bearing all this in mind I think the price of this gym at near 30 pounds a month is not only unfair but also a complete joke!

Positive experience: Very good value, good opening times. I wouldn't use the showers as I'm not too sure of the cleanliness. The toilets are not as clean as they could be. There are also a lot of "youths" and yesteday I had to tell off a bunch of them for gatecrashing a female only session... and screaming at the top of their voices. But it's still a really cheap gym with all the equipment you'll need. Staff are friendly. Haven't used the pool yet but it looks pretty standard. Parking is sometimes difficult to find but if you wait around for half an hour or so, a space will become free. Haven't tried the classes.

Negative experience: Waste of money joining the gym Walked in on whilst showering by school kids!!!(twice) Then another kid nearly dropped a weight on my head!! All the leisure centre said was sorry.... No form of compensation offer nothing The machines are mainly Broken. Will definitely be sorting out ending the contract with a refund. Citizen advice booked for next week

Negative experience: When I joined everything was so good. But when I started, suddenly found out that Sauna was close between 13-1400, today they said it is actually between 12-1400. The changing rooms, shower rooms, and toilets are dirty. Some of the guards are very rude, some of the staffs behind the till is very rude. I submit a form to cancel my contracts. I do not recommend. Over all a horrible experience.
