Fantastic experience: Gym has all equipment needed

Negative experience: Absolutely horrific. My son cried for hours after our 1st visit for joining as members..the pool is pure urine and I can't find anything positive. 1 million percent avoid.

Negative experience: Worst place I have ever been, the changing rooms are the dirtiest and the most unhygienic place ever. While in the pool you can taste urine. The place felt really claustrophobic with the ammount of random things there and the gym starts as soon as you enter the reception, like people are working out in the reception. And be careful if you are female, my wife was getting changed and a grown man entered the changing room as she was getting ready. (I wish I could give minus-5 stars)

Fantastic experience: Scott at reception was very professional, & provided good customer service when we arrived also found out he is a bare knuckle fighter too check him out on YouTube. The Pool was nice and warm, Jacuzzi was awesome and good atmosphere, would recommend 5* to anyone thinking of coming here

Fantastic experience: New manager doing a great job above and beyond with good help from his staff.

Positive experience: I have been a member on and off at this health club for approx 15 years, and I must say it has really improved over the last few month's, it is now very clean and very well organised and has very friendly & helpful people staffing and managing it ! What a turn around!

Positive experience: Surprised to see the negative reviews here, went for a trial and everything was clean and fresh, enjoyed the pool, no problem with the changing room except it was a bit cold. The gym equipment looked new, the staff were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to coming again.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting. Has not been thoroughly cleaned in the year which I’ve been going. Dirty showers/changing room and toilets. Manager could not care less.

Negative experience: Sorry. . If it had been free it would have been too much to pay! Pool and jacuzzi fine. . But Changing room/showers/toilet absolutely appalling! The place is filthy! The thought of getting in the showers after the pool ruined my time of 'relaxation'. Hair and mud ALL OVER changing room and pool area floors, plug holes full of gunge so water doesn't drain away, stood in a pool of dirty water that flowed back to me from the shower gully? Cannot have been cleaned properly for months! Needs shutting down and refurbishing. . . It's so bad!

Fantastic experience: Quiet and good and cheap great value for money and the pool is really good as well

Negative experience: My experience has been into minus. I have for months and months been trying to contact head office about the cancellation of my direct debit of £30 per month. I have not instigated the cancellation of my direct debit and yet I am told that to re-instate this I will have to pay an increased cost. I have no wish to pay a higher price for a service that would not have increased had my direct debit not been cancelled. I am massively disappointed and dissatisfied with the service (or lack of) that I have received thus far. Why are Spindles health club so reluctant to rectify an error of not my doing?
