Our facilities are known for their cleanliness and overall quality. Many users commend the exceptional cleanliness of the pools, changing areas, and the presence of friendly and attentive staff. Customers have noted that our pools are well-maintained and offer a relaxing swimming environment.

- Regularly mopped changing areas to maintain hygiene.
- A small café that offers a selection of food and beverages to enjoy after your swim.

Pools on the Park: Opinions
Negative experience: I only swim here because it is close to home. £6.60 for a 55 minute swim is extortionate and the fact that you have to choose which pool and which lane ahead of time is ridiculous. Whilst the outdoor pool is quite nice, usually clean, the right temperature etc. the indoor pool is like a hot tub and quite dirty. And the outdoor pool often closes at 1:30pm anyway so that’s less than convenient. Why are there so many adults doing a doggy paddle in the “fast lane” I’ve booked and paid for? Why don’t the lifeguards advise them to move to an appropriate lane? Why is there ONE female shower cubicle in the whole complex (with a mouldy shower curtain of course)? Oh but rest assured there’s a communal shower where I can wash my hair next to men I’ve never met with children bumping into me. The general standard of facilities makes my skin crawl a little. Oh and the online booking system? Why is it from 2005?! Why is there a lovely huge grassy section next to the pool that’s been closed for the last 18 months? Wouldn’t mind sitting there after my swim. I could go on. This place has so much potential but it’s all just wasted.
Positive experience: Decent pool, we mainly use for general family swims and I use it for lane swimming. Life guards attentive, pool clean and changing areas regularly mopped out etc. Online booking clunky but works well enough + importantly stops it being mobbed at peak times.
Positive experience: Nice swim, but not really the park's fault but could be cleaner. Good for the circulation though, although I wouldn't go again when it's below 10C. Good overall, definitely worth a try.
Fantastic experience: Review: Pools in the Park Richmond As a swim instructor with extensive experience in various pools, I was pleasantly surprised by my first visit to Pools in the Park Richmond. This facility stands out in several ways, making it a gem among public swimming pools. Cleanliness and Facilities The cleanliness of both the pool and changing areas was exceptional, rivalling that of private clubs. While some minor maintenance issues were noted (a cubicle with a missing lock handle and another with rusty hinges), the overall cleanliness was impressive for a public facility. A standout feature was the working swimsuit tumble-dryer, a rarity in many pools. Pool Conditions The indoor 25m pool boasted perfect water temperature, suitable for both vigorous training and leisurely swims. Unlike some pools where temperature issues can be a problem, here even children doing swim tests seemed comfortable without any signs of being cold. Atmosphere and Crowding Visiting at 4 PM on a December weekday, the pool was pleasantly quiet with ample space, including an entirely empty lane. This peaceful environment is ideal for those seeking a tranquil swim, though it's worth noting that the atmosphere might differ during summer months when the outdoor pool is open. Staff and Safety The staff were notably friendly and professional. The presence of three lifeguards for the pool size demonstrated a commendable commitment to safety. The mix of younger and more mature lifeguards suggests good staff retention and treatment. Staff were helpful, providing proactive information about potential lane changes and offering a no-pressure tour of the gym facilities. Additional Amenities The facility includes a gym, which, while quiet during my visit, appeared well-equipped. The lack of pushy sales tactics when viewing these additional amenities was refreshing. Accessibility and Location The pool is easily accessible by various means of transport. There's ample bicycle parking, a nearby car park, and a convenient bus stop. It's also within walking distance from Richmond station. The ground-floor location of the pool area ensures good accessibility for those with disabilities. Price Comparison While slightly more expensive than some local alternatives like Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre, the higher quality justifies the price difference for those seeking a more premium public pool experience. Recommendations This pool is highly recommended for individuals looking for a peaceful, clean swimming environment without the high costs of a private club. It's suitable for serious swimmers, families, and beginners alike, especially during off-peak hours. Areas for Improvement Some minor maintenance in the changing rooms, particularly addressing issues with cubicle locks and hinges, would enhance the overall experience. In conclusion, Pools in the Park Richmond offers a surprisingly high-quality public swimming experience. Its cleanliness, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere set it apart from typical public pools, making it a worthwhile choice despite the slightly higher price point.

Fantastic experience: Great size pool but need to book ahead. UPDATE - they've introduced a £2 fine now for people who book but don't show up
Fantastic experience: Don't live nearby but visited as was in the area for the parkrun event on a Saturday morning. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice and clean. Good cafe and used the outdoor pool. (It has an indoor too which looked nice).
Positive experience: 33m swimming pool , both indoor and outdoor, it is hard to find in London
Positive experience: Took our 5-month old to the training pool midweek (daytime). Facilities for baby changing and pool was great. Very much a leisure centre, but ticked all the necessary boxes. Staff also pleasant.
Negative experience: Whoever manages the pool, absolutely lacks common sense. Such an underused facility with stupid booking system. Only lane swimming most of the time so forget about bringing your child with you apart from summer holidays. And forget about lane swimming in summer because the pool is only open to families. Not mentioning lack of access to the showers! Neglected and dirty!
Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic swim, 9.30 lane swimming. The staff were very helpful, just buy a token for the lockers at reception don't moan about it! £3 for over 60s, an absolute treat. Surrounded by trees. Will definitely be back.
Positive experience: it’s a pretty good pool, not so new but still great, also really cheap. 5£ for almost an hour sounds like a steal to me. The staff is very friendly however i do not understand the policy of prohibiting fins and snorkel equipment. It sounds like a nonsense to me as how are you supposed to train and learn how to swim without any sort of additional equipment, that was a big minus for me but i’ll be surely back as i enjoyed it nevertheless.
Negative experience: ⛔️ I would like to suggest that you visit any random location of this type in Europe like Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Austria etc and learn how it is done, how people are treated, and how such places are maintained because this is simply unacceptable. Where are you headed UK? 〽️
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, a great outdoor pool & a nice cafe. Wish we discovered this place sooner.
Negative experience: Very disappointed with my visit to pools on the park. I used to attended with my children years ago and was lovely it felt like a community they could have fun outside and once they got cold could go in that is no longer possible. The fact I had to pick one or the other is not on I was also told the outdoor pool was heated and it was freezing! The separation that has taken place actually made this pool is not a good place to attended any longer! The changing areas is awful and look dirty and no private cubicles which my little girl found very uncomfortable the toilet you can look in and Infact my mother saw a man urinating was disgusting. The staff are rude and miserable there is no shelter outside the showers also freezing cold they searched you when going in! They had benches round the corner no where near the pool so unsure how you can watch your child also a massive bush that stops you seeing your child! Richmond you have really failed with this one. I always suggested this place to friend but I now no longer will it is not family friendly and doesn’t think of the children or families any longer. The staff watched these young men come in and leave there clothes on the railings instead of that member say sorry you cannot do that he watched then called security who then got them out the pool wet to move there clothes whilst wet it was not needed when the man could of said to them before they got in the pool! Also when I was getting my daughter ready to leave the man asked me you waiting for someone as he wanted us out and wanted to go never again will I pay for this place that is not even worth a £1 entry any longer and feels like you walking in a half done job who are trying to over charge you! Do not attend and Richmond time to go back to what you originally was not this mess
Negative experience: It’s a shame that you now have to choose whether you’re in the outdoor pool or indoor. The outdoor facilities are terrible! We had to get changed in some old mobile office. Sadly, everything seems to have gone down hill. I remember swimming there as a child and it was great, now they penny pinch, over charge and have rude staff. They also need to remove the large bush that blocks your view of the outdoor pool, as you can’t see your child when they’re swimming. I will not be in a rush to go back. Stop treating each pool separately, the lovely thing about Richmond baths was that you go between both, it made it unique. Please go back to that.
Negative experience: Very rude swimming staff !!! I do not recommend !!!!!!!!!
Negative experience: I'm just disappointed... I visited the pool today 12 August 2024 I was there for about 15 minutes. in these couple of minutes I was insulted by the staff and brought to tears and upset. I understand that the pool is for swimming, but you can't swim without stopping like the staff kept saying you should swim(REALLY?) Manager with blonde curly hair sorry I don't remember his name very rude. In my opinion, the manager should be more professional and treat the client with respect. I didn't do anything wrong to be treated like this. I understand that today was a hot day and some people do not tolerate heat, but this did not give reason to treat a pregnant woman in such a way as to bring her to tears. Please describe more detail on the website how customers should behave in the pool and not insult them when they are in the pool.....
Negative experience: Rubbish place 15 years ago it Used to be a lovely pool, but what happened: the baby pool with ridiculous reason is closed, the stuff is absolutely careless. In fact very rude and care about absolutely nothing. This review is based not only on one visit, but for the last 5-7 years. Every time I come where there is always a problem, the management is never willing to help with anything, they just protect eachother and repeat the instructions. There is no human touch whatsoever. Always disappointed. Too much pretending to be a good place. If I could leave 0 stars I would do it. Disgusting manners from all management. . Nobody ever answered the phone. The website is never helpful. Everything is rubbish and disgusting
Negative experience: We booked over the phone to visit this pool yesterday as it was 32degrees Arrived and qued for around 25 mins (our session was 3pm) Arrived at the check in gave my name only to be told no booking The woman dealing with people checking through seriously needs re training No customer service no empathy just horrible She told me maybe we are booked in tomorrow by mistake Not my problem go away?? I explained we booked and payed this morning and showed her my bank app which the money came out She continues to argue with me saying not her problem and who have I called it’s basically my fault ohh and system error the money might be refunded omg We paid for parking petrol very upset 7 year old so I wasn’t budging asked for the manager She told me wait on the side Another 20 mins! no one comes Lucky another guy noticed my destress looked on the computer and let us through Only once through we had to que for 30 mins to get in the pool Worst experience will never return here
Fantastic experience: Excellent community facility with friendly and competent staff.
Negative experience: Fantastic swimming pool, but absolutely terrible management. For the outdoor pool, they allow a capacity of 500 people to enter the outdoor area, but only 130 to enter the pool, meaning there is an enormous line to enter the pool at all times that barely moves. This is completely unacceptable and having to stand on the line for half an hour plus with toddlers waiting to enter the pool is ridiculous.
Positive experience: Very nice staff but, as so often with Council facilities, a bit run down and tired. Haven't used the gym recently.
Negative experience: Ihave been coming for 24 years and at no time have I felt more dissatisfied; since Covid the council thinks it doesnt have to open the lawns for our families, and when they do its never in the hot summer days, usually when it rains!!! its a scandal. Yesterday 'they are working on the walls'. THERE WAS NOBODY WORKING ANYWHERE. The grounds were lovely My grounds. And the hottest day of the year. Why do they punish us, my grandchildren havent set foot on that grass this year. Or even in the past three. Well done Richmond, it was better when it was privately owned. Can somebody buy it please
Negative experience: Why the outdoor pool closes at 1:30pm? Why do you need to book a 55min slot? People just want to stay in the green space outdoor all day and go in and out the pool as they wish. Like a normal outdoor pool. Like it used to be. Here they are still using COVID as an excuse to work less. What a shame!
Negative experience: Being to this pool since 20 years and hadn’t before Covid. And wanted to take family in Sunday to realise like all London pools are booked in advance which I did but u can only book outdoor pool or inside pool . The sunbathing area is a miserable not even a quarter of the size it used to be. The maintainance of d pool disappointed. D weather didn’t help when it sho day before it was going to be 25 then it was all clumsy didn’t feel the hot at all and we couldn’t go to the other pool inside because booking is only for 1 pool. Before we would pay entrance and had 3 pools to choose from and the kiddy splash. The kiddy’s splash pool no longer there. We were very disappointed. And shameful it was in that state there was barely anyone there and like 2 safeguards each pool . Not to mention who full it used to be and lovely atmosphere when I used to take with friends and family. Only swim 1 hours and the kids were too cold and d inseide pool was out of the question.not happy at all no longer worth the trip
Negative experience: This used to be a local gem. Lovely relaxing fun day out sunbathing & enjoying the outdoor pool. Since the pandemic everything changed to timed 55min sessions (you even have to pick which lane you want to swim in…) very limited hours (only open 8.30am - 1.30pm most days, even weekends…) and no access to the garden so impossible to relax / sunbathe. Staff are rude & the parking is expensive. Perhaps temporarily during the pandemic this was good idea but why still now..? Very disappointing how this has drastically declined.
Fantastic experience: The young lady on reception was so helpful and friendly. Pointing us in the right direction for toilets and cafe and then dealing with our enquiries about swimming and being genuinely disappointed when she didn't have availability at the time we wanted but with such positivity we changed our plans and booked for the general swim a little later which was perfect. The outdoor pool wasn't warm to get into but was fine once swimming. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: I find the staff here exceptionally helpful and willing to help you with any issue you might have. I needed help with the online booking system the other day, and Julian and Phil on the desk were so patient while we sorted it out together. The facilities ant Pools on the Park are very good, and the prices are most reasonable.
Fantastic experience: The swimming facilities are great, and supported by an easy and functional booking application, thus lanes are never get too crowded.
Fantastic experience: I love going to Jeff and Tori’ classes! Especially Aerolatino and Cardiostep on Thursday evenings
Fantastic experience: Aerolatino And Rumbalatina Classes are fun Come an join the Latino dance work out at Lbrut
Positive experience: All good
Negative experience: Booked in advance.wed 31st and Fri 2nd Slow lane 11am.On arrival told no swimming as a Gala on. Seemed a booking was made Monday 29th and showed I failed to attend.Error on behalf of the booking agent.Me not happy
Fantastic experience: Always super clean & super organized!! Great customer service !!
Positive experience: It's a nice enough facility albeit the changing rooms are probably due a refurb. Main issue I have is that they are still implementing a strict COVID booking system which is very inflexible. You have to commit to a specific lane in one of the 2 pools only and for a specific timed slot. You have to start and finish in the slot, so even if there's capacity you can't just turn up and swim, you have to wait for the next slot, unless you're prepared to start during a slot and not get your full time. If you want to try both pools you need to buy 2 tickets. There doesn't seem to be a clear reason why all this pre booking is still necessary. At least let people start at any time if there's capacity and let them leave at will. Most people don't stay longer than an hour anyway.
Fantastic experience: Staff including Frankie and Jia to name a few are incredible and so friendly and accommodating. They deserve a pay rise and a bonus! Great facilities for the price.
Positive experience: Generally very nice staff and usually quite quiet in the gym which is nice. Be aware parking is not included in the membership and they will not warn you of this despite politely asking they advise provisional members. This means if you plan on driving each visit it will add a lot to your gym costs and you may find better value elsewhere.
Fantastic experience: A really delightful outside pool, water always warm. It has recently been possible to swim all year round. Indoor pool good as well.
Positive experience: So we finally managed to book a swimming session since it was 32 degrees and baking hot yesterday. Was nice clean pool, nice water temperature kids had a blast and it was lovely to chill and have a swim. It is a nice clean and spacious place. Has a good sized changing room. Lots of lockers which require tokens rather than locks or £1 coins. Has changing rooms for families as well. Hair dryers on site which are 20p. Offers an indoor and outdoor pool (weather depending) as well as a teaching pool. Nice spacious cafe on site selling a good range of food and drinks hot and cold. Lots of space to sit inside or outside. Could even chill there before or after your session. The team were friendly and helpful and I was happy we did visit. Would have loved to have use the outdoor pool but it was fully booked since others beat me to it for booking the slots. Overall a good first time experience. Would definitely go back. Try it for yourself...
Positive experience: Safe swim
Positive experience: Very clean, spotless pools (indoor and outdoor) with delightful staff manning reception and very pleasant lifeguards. The only person who wasn't friendly was the woman looking after the cafe. I suspect she was very tired or overworked but she looked positively annoyed to see us wanting to place an order.
Negative experience: You have to pay for parking even in weekends and on Sunday, a non-Richmond resident is charged even more. The parking officer was really on my nerves as I was trying to pay at the machine he kept walking around and clicking pics of all cars. Then it seemed you had to book for a family swim, which wasn’t when we were there last time. We wanted to leave and they give only partial refund for parking. Will never visit again.
Fantastic experience: Very pleased with my experience at this pool. Staff are very friendly and make arriving a pleasure. Timed swims means it’s never overrun. The bathroom in the cafe is pristine.Etc., etc…
Negative experience: This could be great facility but it is not. The layout of the facility is poor due to poor management who do not listen or care. For example to get to the main gym area people have to walk through a long corridor which is often crowded with people towling themselves down from the pool and past lockers which often have the doors left open. So to get to the gym is like an assault course to avoid these obstacles or banging your head on a locker door. Although most staff are helpful the management seem to lack intellectual capacity or willingness to change poor practice. Choices of equipment or water fountains appear without thought. The floor in the main gym was changed a few years ago making it very slippery. With the right management this place could be great but they appear to chuck money at things to replace without thought and do not care about their customers. Although this is supposed to be a health facility many staff can be seen to be smoking outside the building, despite a banner displayed outside requesting people not to smoke….not a great advertisement to the many children who use this facility.
Negative experience: Very outdated building, in need of a serious renovation throughout. Most of the showers do not work, full of limescale and there are only a few which have to be shared with everyone, no separate places for women or men. The changing rooms are also very old, smells with tough stains and a mouldy feel. The pool has also collected dirt at the bottom. Staff are okay, just very nonchalant. Richmond council really need to renovate this place, it’s not really acceptable for 2023.
Negative experience: We wonder why the outdoor pool is closed most of the time during summertime???
Fantastic experience: We're lucky to have such a great and affordable community pool in Richmond where you can visit without taking up a second mortgage for a private gym membership. Staff was kind and helpful, the indoor pool airy and bright, water clean, changing room, lockers, showers ok. You need to pre-book but this also means it wasn't overrun by people.
Negative experience: You find out that the outdoor pool is closed at the point of entry. No prior notice anywhere. In 32 degrees heat on a Sunday. Unbelievably rude, obnoxious and unhelpful staff. Avoid like plague.
Negative experience: Horrible place with incredibly rude staff. Never take your children here!
Positive experience: It's not bad though the bottom of deep end is very dirty!
Negative experience: Why rigid timed sessions at specific times... So much for being able to just pop to the pool for a swim... Revisit your policy please..the need for such controls has now passed....
Negative experience: Fine pools but the lockers are wide open a lot of the time and I saw a young man hit his head on one of them and fell over and the staff didn’t seem to care none so I’d give that a 1 star since customer care is priority in any establishment. The lifeguards should be checking this but clearly they haven’t been trained properly.
Positive experience: I just joined and want to give this centre a chance. Although I can see the staff is very unhelpful and unprofessional specially a gentleman who is there and instead of helping seem quite condescending and weird. Please management make sure staff helps people and specially the app is a nightmare but it is not nice to feel you are bothering someone when you are requesting a service you pay for.
Negative experience: No sauna anymore, I asked on the phone if they’ll be getting a new one & they didn’t no sounded pretty unlikely. Shame because that was a great facility to use & has a lot of health benefits too…Oh well, will have to look for somewhere else to swim & sauna.
Fantastic experience: First time visit. Has small car park , locker a bit small (will use 2 tokens next time for 2 lockers would be the solution) found the family change stall (at least twice the size of the regular one) , the pool was great , it wasn’t overcrowded and best of all my three children said they loved it , and that was what was important. I was a little worried from all the negative reviews but then most happy people don’t leave reviews. The rinsing showers were warm and worked well , there was a nice step for entrance/exit into the main pool at the shallow end (made things easier) Overall much better than expected , very happy :)
Positive experience: Great place but Absolutely Dreadful coffee… please please change the brand
Fantastic experience: brilliant and not busy, great workout again as usual
Fantastic experience: The water is amazingly clear, you need to pay for parking separately from any activity you do, and if swimming then you need to purchase a locker token for £1 at reception, swimming is pre-booked and you can register on the Richmond council website and download the app, it really is easy.
Positive experience: Quite average, the main pool is fine and the changing rooms too. Showers aren't great, the water is a bit too hot and some showers are broken.
Negative experience: As a lone female I was made uncomfortable by the constant staring of the male security guard watching me (and others) from the balcony facing the grass. Richmond council should seriously reconsider their security company, as I'm not the first one to comment on the security.
Negative experience: From the moment you walk in they are treating you like a criminal. Searched our bags. No alcohol (fair enough), no perfume because it was in a glass bottle, insisted on me going around all the barriers even though I'm disabled. When inside, there are security watching you constantly to the point it's uncomfortable. No where to smoke in the outside area, or even vape. Generally a very uncomfortable experience. Won't return in a hurry. Go to Ruislip Lido instead.
Negative experience: Went for “swim and stay”, very overcrowded pool and not enjoyable. Bathrooms were gross
Negative experience: The facilities are great, pity about the staff attitude. Unhelpful and little or no consideration for carers, things can be challenging enough with a child with a disability without unhelpful staff. Lifeguards have a serious attitude problem when my son was practicing his kick with a kick board we were told it was a floatation aid and he couldn't use the full length of the pool. Teddington pool while not as nice a pool is a much more pleasant experience.
Positive experience: The app needs fixing so that swim and stay bookings can be made after 10am on the day still. Other than that lovely warm outdoor pool. Thanks for the reply that bookings can still be made by phone after the 10am slot vanishes from the booking app.
Merrick, thank you for the feedback, we are aware of the issue and are working with our System provider to find a solution to this. Bookings can still be made on the phone after 10am. (020 3772 2999)
Negative experience: 7 minutes to answer the phone and then rude lady on the other end.
Fantastic experience: good place
Negative experience: absolutely disgusted, it made me sick , me and my children got a cold after this place DONT recommended
Negative experience: Awful! Badly run in regards to website information/ booking system. I thought I was taking my child to a nice time in an outdoor pool- was not allowed- no kids!! Ended up with 5sqm in a teaching with others not doing classes. Staff had no idea how to read my booking email and try to imply i had booked for the day before (that was the time and date I purchased). Signage inside is so unclear I ended up in a members only changing room where the members were very rude that I had entered as it was strictly no children but instead of helping me, berated me. Toilets ? Good luck finding some and be prepared to queue to get in even if you’ve pre booked. Shambles !!! Travelled an hour on public transport for this.
Fantastic experience: Beautifully cool and clean outdoor pool. Well maintained and staffed with 2 lifeguards. You can change outside or use the indoor rooms, and there's a cafe inside for afterwards. Numbers are limited so you'll need to book well in advance by setting up an online account for each person, and there is a waiting list function for full sessions. Public sessions offer 3 lanes (slow, med, fast) and capacity is per lane. Despite the hassle of setting up an account and the somewhat curt receptionist, the swimming experience is very relaxed. Highly recommended on a hot day - but book a week ahead.
Fantastic experience: The abilities are remarkable the schedule is is extremely convenient. 12 days here as a visitor and the race to swim at £2 6 each time are also quite remarkable will for here and for the US. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly period it is spick and span clean. I wish I live here
Negative experience: Extremely rude front desk staff. (Working on 3rd July). The pool and facilities are otherwise good.
Fantastic experience: Really good and calming and relaxing
Fantastic experience: The perfect way to start your day in the outdoor pool. Staff is so kind always there to assist and help and the environment is really clean
Positive experience: Booked a family swim with our baby and it was great. Clean throughout despite some outdated facilities (as with many other council run pools of this age). Nice staff and good cafe. The booking system is awful but other than that no complaints.
Negative experience: Let badly down by the non existent customer service. The swim booking app tells people they can only cancel a session if they call the centre but good luck if anyone answers the phone! Tried a few times to cancel to give my place up to someone on the wait list but no one answers.
Fantastic experience: Lovely swim gym Spa and showers and nice friendly staff ♂️
Negative experience: No reason anymore for covid restrictions why should i book in advance to swimm? In which country you live?
Fantastic experience: Great place. Has an indoor pool as well as an outdoor pool plus gardens. Lockers available. Changing rooms provided here. Shower facilities available here.
Fantastic experience: Good swimming pool, indor and outdoor 33m :.). Nice park. Recommended!!!
Negative experience: Awful service. No refund when we arrived, having booked, and they were closed and had been for a day. Nothing on their Twitter or website. Why have this amazing resource and closed at the weekend and half the day. Totally useless service that the company running it does not deserve. Should be service to the community and it is not. The actual pool is perfectly nice, just mismanaged.
Fantastic experience: Nice
Positive experience: Great for an outdoor swim but why are they closed on the weekend and no longer opened for early bird swim?? Cant still be down to covid austerity
Positive experience: very welcoming place with a nice atmosphere, great gym equipment and friendly staff. the pool is excellent. i intend to join
Fantastic experience: Have been coming to this pool for years and have always loved it. Lovely big pool and separate smaller pool for children plus outdoor pool. Nice spacious changing area. Perhaps showers could do with updating, could be bigger and hot water a bit hit and miss.
Negative experience: Nice pool, but staff are not polite. Organisation is bad.
Negative experience: No one answers the phone. The website is so poor, with no information at all.
Positive experience: - The customer service is a joke, been waiting on the phone for 50 minutes! When asked about simple enquiries the representative was clueless and referred me to their website! Well if I could find them on the website, why would I call?! - The facilities are often cleaned but not always.
Fantastic experience: Fun playground outside for kids. Nice pool... COVID restrictions apply.
Fantastic experience: One of the best public pools!!
Negative experience: Great pool and brilliant teaching staff but awful website convoluted booked process and generally zero way of contacting them. No one answers the phone. Can’t call for basic info it’s a joke.
Positive experience: Excellent facilities, helpful staff. Especially oliver who's customer service skill are exemplary. Altogether a nice place to swim
Negative experience: No-one ever answers the phone - in fact I'm writing this review as i am on hold (for now 30 minutes - I assure you this is not the first time - see reviewers below). Booking at this place is shambolic. I hate rating staff badly, but I'm afraid the staff are among the worst part of this place. The swimming pools are very nice, clean and reasonably priced and by far the best part of the experience. Dont get too worried about which lane you should swim in. Its Lanes Shmanes at Richmond Pool. Its nearly as shambolic as the phone answering. You have people doggy-paddling in the fast lane. I once saw someone snorkelling in the medium lane! and don't fret about the staff putting you in your rightful lane, they are busy not answering the phones.
Fantastic experience: Big pool, clear water, overall a nice place to swim.
Fantastic experience: Me and my kids love this place, can't fault a thing, really helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Negative experience: It took 1 hour on the phone to book our session. 40 minutes on hold then 20 minutes being taken through an over complicated registration process. We were told to arrive at 5 minutes before, we did so to be then made to wait a further 12 minutes for people who hadn't prepaid to be delt with by the 1 overworked bloke on the front. Then we finally got in by 10 past to be kicked out promptly at 12.45. So all in all alot of faff for 35 minutes swimming. And of course cost is the same as if we had actually gotten the 1 hour advertised. Can't say I hugely recommend the experience. Staff are trying their best but with an antiquated booking system and not enough people to man it
Negative experience: Nobody answer the phone trying to find out if they open and if 8 gave to booked before I come .
Sorry your having trouble getting through. Yes slots need to be pre booked and are available 7 days in advance.
Positive experience: Water eas warmer on Friday, which was great.
Fantastic experience: Lovely, clean and well organised. Book a session in advance online (or call) but sessions are busy but not packed and facilities covid safe. Cafe onsite too
