Liberty Leisure Solihull: Opinions
Negative experience: Signed up to 3 month membership have been twice. No one to teach you the Equipment. Staff are unapproachable. Unclean. Freezing cold. Whole place is just very uninviting will not be going again. Don’t waste your money go elsewhere.
Hi Aimee, The team feel disappointed with your thoughts. We have looked at your records and you joined in Jan and attended the gym once at the beginning of Feb, everyone is offered an induction to show you the equipment, if you attend the gym again please ask for an induction they are free, if you are cancelling please email reception so they can process these for you.
Fantastic experience: Spa was lovely and relaxing. I had the best back neck and shoulder massage I've ever had from Sophie, thank you!
Fantastic experience: It was a marvellous experience filled with wonderful staff, a relaxing vibe and marvellous customer service i was greeted by the receptionist Sidd she was very warm and welcoming and informative about the locations of treatments ect. Hannah and Sophie attended to us, they were remarkable. Sophie performed my full body massage and it was without a doubt one of the great experiences I’ve ever had. The room had dim lights are beautiful aroma combined with the relaxing music creating such an ambience. The hot oil and massage was absolute perfection and the timing was lengthy. As women we were given privacy and communication. The food was delicious. We will certainly be back
Negative experience: Liberty is generally well-maintained, but the showers really need attention. The water is way too cold, making it uncomfortable to use, and the shower room locks are broken, which is a privacy concern. Other than that, everything else is fine, but these issues definitely need to be fixed!
Negative experience: Lady on reception- mainly all of them, they are so horrible and so rude they need to sort out there attitude as i was signing up and the rudeness of them all is awful they need to be sorted out
Hi Amie, The team is very dissappointed to hear of such an event happening, we have searched for your details but cannot find them on the system, the team would like to understand what went on, if you could phone the centre or call back to ask for the manager please
Fantastic experience: Great gym, great people,Come a few times a week and especially Sid, she is always there to greet us with a smile on her face getting us ready for our gym sessions.
Fantastic experience: Crispies offers a delightful dining experience with its perfectly crispy and flavorful dishes. The food is fresh, well-seasoned, and served with great attention to detail. Whether it’s their signature fried items or other menu offerings, every bite is satisfying. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious comfort food!
Positive experience: The equipment at in the gym is good and when there is a fault its repaired quickly (not many faults I add). Staff are friendly so no complaints there either. The only issue is some of the maintenance which does need addressing, i.e., Not all the male showers turn off due to leaking pipes...a huge waste of water. There is also a leak into the lift foyer from the gents showers....constant pool of water. The sauna needs the timber benches attending to as they are starting to go rotten. Pool showers are also not working or leaking. The pool towel hooks are all broken....this is a simple repair. Come on guys, please sort these issues out so that this gym is the best in the area.
Negative experience: a guy called Scott manages the gym and he gives off a very unpleasant vibe. If I was the director of the business I would get rid of this guy asap if you want to compete with other gym nearby in terms of customer service. The gym overall ain’t too bad. I have known many managers from different gyms who have a great level of service. This guys attitude absolutely stinks. If one day I turn up and this guy is extinct I would change my rating to 4 star. Many other members think the same and it’s only a matter of time they express their concerns.
Hi Jim We cannot find you on the system, the team take these comments to heart and would love to understand any issue's. So we can resolve any outstanding issue's could you put something in an email to customer service's or drop a letter to the centre addressed to the general manger so we can resolve any issue's.
Positive experience: Equipment is quality, much better than david Lloyd and always in good working order. The gym floor is spotless. Only improvement could be the shower area having tiles instead of lino flooring but it’s always clean and the staff are very polite and helpful. It’s not a 5 star leisure club but if the changing was upgraded it would be. Gym wise nothing can touch it in Solihull.
Negative experience: Decent gym with good equipment. Place is falling apart & not as hygenic as first glance. Papering over many cracks it seems. Jacuzzi often foamy, pool has visible dirt in areas, mold on walls, mens showers are very bad. Staff seem nice, management seem unprofessional (judging by review replies and personal experience)
Fantastic experience: Welcoming Gym and Staff, (Sid at reception is always amazing) Always a great and clean environment. Amazing place to train
Fantastic experience: Brilliant Elemis event. Really enjoyed the evening, great to learn about the various products and how to get the best out of them. Thank you to the lovely Elemis advisor and the wonderful Spa team.
Fantastic experience: Came today for a spa day with my pregnant sister and mother. We had such a wonderful day! It was so quiet in the spa, we almost had it to ourselves, the massive hot tub in the spa area was fantastic. We had brilliant treatments and a lovely lunch. The staff were all so helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We will be back!
Fantastic experience: Lovely calming facial, afternoon tea delicious and the facilities were clean and hot tub was bliss
Fantastic experience: Great friendly gym
Fantastic experience: Had a lovely time here at this spa. The staff was all lovely and Chloe the lady who gave me my treatments was really friendly and gave me good advice. The spa is very clean I can not wait to go again.
Fantastic experience: Had a facial of Mel was awesome made me feel comfortable
Fantastic experience: Amazing customer service from Sid on reception and very friendly person. She has dealt with many queries of mine as, I was nervous to sign up alone. She made me feel comfortable and she has an extremely kind persona.
Negative experience: This gym let a random person merge my single person membership to a joint person membership without any consent at all from me as the membership holder. They then took a joint person membership fee out of my bank account with out any permission what’s so ever only 2 weeks after charging me for a single person membership. This is theft and once this happened I had tried to cancel my membership by verbal consent as well as written consent via the ‘message’ section on the website which they are trying to say they have no trace of. Why would I not cancel my membership after this outrage. They have then continued to take another months membership even though I have served my one months notice since informing them I am leaving this gym.
Hi Harry, how can we charge you when you aren't a member, there is no trace of your name on our systems, please let the team know of a genuine membership name so this can we addressed today 07-10-24, the team are awaiting your call.
Fantastic experience: Have been a member for a month now, and I can't see a reasoning behind the negative feedback. All the facilities are clean at all times, staff is friendly and helpful, class instructors are enthusiastic and kind. A huge variety of different weights and machines in the gym. There is a separate ladies gym room, which I adore. A lot of studios, which can be used when there are no classes happening. There is also a space to do some work on your laptop. I love that the spa zone is included in the membership. But you need your own padlock for the lockers, which is a bit of a hassle as I keep forgetting mine. Those can be bought on site.
From the liberty team thank you for your feedback
Negative experience: The air conditioning has been turned off in the gym. It's unbearably hot , no circulation of fresh air! Have complained on several occasions and have been ignored or given a bogus website to complain. A hot stuff gym is unhealthy and impossible to have a proper workout. Only 3 work fans for a very large gym. My concerns have been ignored and dismissed Very unhappy and disappointed
Hi Sherene, the air con has not been turned off, it is temperture controlled with heat recovery units , so as the the outside temperature decearses the internal units will turn down. This has operated all year the same, we have checked your records and on your last visit at approx midday when you attended it was 1 degree higher than your prevoius visits. The team work hard to maintain a good service, but the system is computor controlled and we haven't got someone going round turning units on/off all day. On your next visit please ask for a team member for help if you still have an issue. The system has been checked and is operating within the settings and thank for bringing a potential problem to our attention.
Fantastic experience: Fab facilities, wonderful staff, 5/5 for cleanliness, 5/5 spa restaurant and light lunch meal (i had the salmon) and 6/5 for the treatments!! I booked a scrub and massage... both were one of the best I have had!!
Hi Sufya, thank you for your kind words and we will be pass your feed back to the team and hope to see you again soon.
Fantastic experience: Good gym
Fantastic experience: Great!
Positive experience: Great gym upstairs. The poolside needs something more. Been open now a while but still feels like it's not quite finished yet.
Fantastic experience: We had a lovely day to Celebrate our 60th Birthday xx
Negative experience: Everyday at least one facility fault , either sauna cold, or steamroom steamless or jakuzi broken
Negative experience: The whole place has been done as cheap as possible and falling apart. The floors are filthy in changing rooms. The cleaners use the same dirty mop to literally just move dirt around. Areas like skirting grown mould. Air -con is never on (to save money which I have been told by 3 staff members) mould growing around the pool and steam room, paint pealing off the walls. Lockers are being saved by people by just putting a padlock and then no one else can use them. There isn’t enough changing space in the changing room. Weights left lying around. Desperate need for weigh racks. No Hitt classes like Circuits. When sold the membership we were told there would be a soft play (12 months later.. still not built). So many staff standing around that could be used to clean, tidy or maintain or even improve the gym. I wouldn’t join again and just cancelled my membership. Pure gym at a third of the cost is better.
Hi Molly, Could you please let me know when you where a member as we cant find you on the system. thank you
Negative experience: We went for a spa day which cost £125 per person, prior to our visit we were asked to fill out forms which we did and returned. But upon arrival we were asked to fill out the same forms. There was alot of waiting around, our spa day was supposed to begin at 10am but didn't start until 10.30am once we had finally got into the spa. The staff didn't show us where the spa was or the changing rooms until we asked. Once in the spa area it was cold and only consisted of a sauna, a steam room, a jacuzzi and a plunge pool which was so disappointing, my actual gym offers more of a spa than this was (virgin active) the photos of the Wychbold liberty leisure are no where near what the solihull one offers. We were asked if we would like a drink but the member of staff could only find one drinks menu that was scribbled all over. The spa was loud with lots of banging, slamming doors, you could hear people above us banging around (even in the quiet relaxing room) The treatments and the therapists were good, but the treatment rooms were cold and so it wasn't very pleasant. The showers in the treatment rooms don't go hot and are ice cold so we couldn't shower off our body scrub. The lunch was nice but the food was cold unfortunately. The staff were friendly enough but we unfortunately won't be returning as the experience itself was overpriced and the 'spa' isn't a spa. We were the only people in the spa which helped but if it was busy you'd be pushed to be able to use the facilities they offer. As a side note. I wasn't going to post the review but the incredibly unprofessional replies to other people who have put on bad reviews changed my mind. It's a new gym/spa and I think you should take the negative reviews and try to work on the issues rather than replying petty passive aggressive and unprofessional responses to the public.
Hi Emma, thank you for your thoughts but the team are so disappointed as a team member asked you through out the day If everything was ok and you replied it was. We find it disappointing after your departure you feel this way. The positive is we have taken on board the door noise and this has been addressed.
Positive experience: I cant fauilt the gym. Been going 3 months and enjoy the facilities. HOWEVER, When me and my partner go to do lengths in the pool, it is almost always stopped because the amount of kids that come in and splash about. Mostly doing handstands or diving in. I would suggest doing a kids only day or hours so we who want to swim for cardio or to better our swim strength can and not be stopped by the 800 kids that go in even in the lanes
Fantastic experience: Excellent place to keep fit with great friendly professional staff there for your every need. Chris.
Negative experience: Very disappointing pool temperature is often cold so much so can’t swim in it this is also the case for the jacuzzi. When complaining either told it’s only 1 degree less than should be, or the heating pump is not working this has been on going for 4 months… steam room door broken for 6 weeks, steam room not been hot enough for the last 3 months. Spin machine in changing rooms taken away for 5 weeks so no way to spin costumes. Mould on ceiling along with cracks in the pool area. Showers in poor condition, When complaints made to management excuses made and no accountability taken, staff have no information to make complaints to head office, really poor customer services will be cancelling my membership
Negative experience: I booked a spa morning which included a treatment for my husband and I. Cost £140. My husband took unwell which resulted in a hospital stay. I called liberty leisure first thing in the morning (couldn’t have notified them beforehand as was unexpected). They said in order to re-book I have to pay half of what I paid, so another £70. When I looked at re-booking through the link they sent, they want £45 for one re-booking. I thought a little leeway wouldn’t have gone amiss considering the situation. I told them to forget it, not paying any more and that I had had enough to deal with that morning. Not a great way to deal with customers! Apparently, this was the managers decision. Money grabbing!
Negative experience: Lack of organisation, dirty, noisy
Hi Laura, We cannot find any time you have attended the club, could you state when you attended.
Positive experience: I don't agree with some of the comments on here. My experience of the staff is that they are very friendly and personable. Versus the cost of David Lloyd, Liberty Leisure is very good value for money and I'm very happy with what is on offer. The quality of the gym equipment is exceptional as is this pool, jacuzzi and steam room. Yes, they have had some teething problems but that is to be expected. Particularly, given how hard it is to get replacement parts.
Fantastic experience: My first visit here today. Had a treatment with Hannah. She was brilliant and made me feel relaxed. The spa is clean and relaxing. I have booked in for a massage and can't wait to go back.
Positive experience: Gyms wicked. Shower cubicles and baby changing areas are pretty gross and well bellow par. Really makes a high end gym feel really off putting . I mean it’s been open maybe a year and it’s got mould everywhere, paint coming away due to the mould all where you change and shower. The sauna benches are broken already. Just seems the whole first floor has been put together cheaply. But as I say actual gym is good . But just needs a bit more care and investment
Positive experience: Really big place but is a work in progress at the moment. Work going on with the lifts, entrance scanning not working yet, spa opening soon, soft play opening soon. The gym itself is really big with good equipment. Cafe has great food options. Seems pretty quite most days.
Positive experience: good
Positive experience: Recently joined and overall I think this is a good gym, loads of gym equipment, good spin classes, lovely pool and it is fairly quiet which is a positive for me BUT the cleaning is not up to scratch with hair clogged shower drains and wet hairy floors in the changing rooms so I am reluctant to put towels down or stand on the floors bare foot. The female cleaner I saw was moving at a snail pace, miserable and not really motivated to work - maybe she needs retraining or let go so other more hardworking people can be employed.
Fantastic experience: lovely new gym
Positive experience: It's alright but far from what it used to be when DL.
Positive experience: Have been the member since they opened, at the first 2 months the experience was great, nice swimming pool, jacuzzi, especially the cafe is really good! But since this month - Oct, the swimming pool isn’t warm, I should say it is freezing, didn’t really have the warm up system for the water in the pool, and the jacuzzi water is also just abit warmer than the cold water…not quite sure if they offer warm water swimming pool or just a indoor freezing swimming pool….
Hi, we are sorry the pool suffered a heat exchange problem for a few days but i assume everything is fine now if not just let the front desk know. But some issue's we cannot fix without ordering parts and are then having to wait ourselve's.
Fantastic experience: Been using this gym & the pool for about two months now. When I first started there was a few teething issues with aircon and cleanliness. But I feel that’s been improved. I love it here Iv used a few gyms and this one I feel comfortable in. Has a good range of equipment and it’s not overly busy when I have been there. Pool areas kept clean, the changing rooms are lovely to!
Positive experience: Class gym, unreal spa, very friendly staff, good cafe within the gym, only thing that lets the gym down is the lazy clientele. It’s a free for all and no one puts anything away after use. Weights all over the gaff and no ones bothered by it. Needs a good weight rack to keep everything separate, instead of every weight on top of each other. The organisation really is stopping it from being a top tier gym.
Fantastic experience: I have just joined so I can only share my first impressions. The interior is clean, modern and appears well maintained. The staff I have encountered have been friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzis look sparkling clean to me, so I’m confused by the reviews reporting it is dirty. The locker rooms are beautiful and spacious. I’m looking forward to spending time here. Sounds like they’ve had some small issues since opening, but I think that’s to be expected.
Negative experience: Wow! Calling a customer a keyboard warrior is very disrespectful, I'm better off renewing my membership at village gym again than trying out liberty leisure solihull .
wow another keyboard warrior, just a thought you have to be a member to renew !! But i would assume this is the first review it will be a made up name as well. We wish you well at your new gym and hopefully enjoy all the facilities they over.
Fantastic experience: Lovely new addition to Solihull. Lovely gym and pool. Just done a Synergy class for the first time, the equipment is excellent and the instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend.
Positive experience: Prior to joining I read some reviews that suggested that the staff are rude and the gym is dirty. I must say I have not experienced this, I have found Scott & Maz at reception to be really pleasant. The gym is reasonably clean, with one exception which is a design issue the gents shower entrance gets water logged. The only reason I am not giving 5/5 is because of the temperamental aircon.
Negative experience: I'd love to leave a good review but that's not possible seeing the state of the place! I joined to use the pool and spa facilities mainly as when they were under David Lloyd they were good. However I was disgusted with the cleanliness. The steam room stinks and there are weeks if not months worth of scum all over the walls, on the seats and running down the fascias for the seating. The Sauna is falling apart exposing nails, tiles are falling off the roof, skirting trim is loose and will cause someone an injury if not sorted. The entire thing is very poorly constructed. The spa pool has layers of scum around the edge where water overflows into the drains. The showers are also horrendous with layers of pink body fat deposits on the taps and grouting, walls and floors. I discussed this with the manager on duty who advised there had been a bout of sickness throughout the team and that this would be delt with by close of play. Regardless, this is weeks worth of neglect so the team on site are not doing their job. I visited again a day later and nothing had been done so the facilities as I see them are not fit for use. I asked to speak to a manager but no one was available so the receptionist gave an email to cancel and comment. Looking around the gym, the equipment is very poorly positioned and seems to only be half full. No TRX bands available for the huge station you have available for that type of exercise. Why is the gym area and equipment so sparse? It looks half empty. All of the above had been emailed to the gym and a week later I've had no response. I was a member for less than 24 hours. Still haven't received confirmation, comment or refund for such a shocking display. Edit - 13/09 Keyboard warrior!?! Very professional. I spoke to a manager on my first day hoping it was an oversight, I tried speaking to someone on site the second visit but no one available, I tried emailing and there was no response. So as to no-one being aware maybe check your emails. Doing things publicly is the only way to get a response so it would seem. Thanks for your response all the same. I'll keep an eye out for the refund.
Wow a key board warrior, if you wanted a refund just ask. A day pass would of suited you more than an off peak membership this has been processed for you as no one was aware of. We hope you find the leisure centre of your dreams
Positive experience: I have been a member here for 3 months. On the positives they have invested heavily in great gym equipment and have a wide range, far better than David Lloyd or Virgin. You never have to wait for equipment also which is great. Both David Lloyd and Virgin really need to invest heavily in their gyms as they are so outdated but won't do so as too focused on the bottom line (joys of being owned by the private equity piranhas) The spinning classes are great. Never full and the instructors are really good. However there are some issues that really hold it back. The key one is not putting the Aircon on to save money. The last couple of days have been brutally hot and yet the Airton still wasn't on. A couple of times we had to cut our sessions short as my daughter felt ill. I know they are trying to cut costs but this is a health and safety issue. When I asked about the Aircon I was told it was on a timer and only comes on 1 hour in 4. And these times are a secret! There are a few other negatives eg male changing room smells a bit, there is still no working entry gates etc. However I could cope with that if they just cooled the gym in summer. Sadly I have had to leave gym as a result. I just hope Management makes a few changes as this gym has great potential if properly managed
Hi Colin, You would of seen the aircon on this last week as 99% of the issue's are now done, so am surprised to hear the comments of that nature now. Saturday there was a termal cut off for a coulpe of hours, but again looking at your checkin times this was sorted before you arrived, but it does take a little while to control the climate in such a large area. We thank you for your patience in the matter and over the next couple of days even the thermal cut out issue's will be corrected. Hofefully now we have understood the systems installed, and errors out of our control are now resolved. Any issue's on any subject please let reception know so they can be dealt with. Once again thank you be bearing with us the last couple of months
Positive experience: I’m only reviewing to try and get them to do something about the air con. I’ve now heard MANY complaints to reception (inc myself and my wife) and they just keep fobbing people off. It’s clearly just cost saving so just say so!! At this point the gym is unbearable and if this doesn’t change I will cancel. It’s a shame as otherwise it’s decent. I’ll be happy to update my review if you commit to turning the air conditioning on!!! Edit - air conditioning now working as of today so updating my review and hopefully it stays on! Overall the gym is decent and pool probably one of the best in the area.
Hi Colin, Sorry to hear about your thoughts but the issue's have been sorted last week, on your return to gym you will feel the difference, thank you for your patience.
Fantastic experience: Facilities are very good but is to be expected for the price, quite good in terms of staff, they’re always there to help, women’s only gym area which is still visible to people outside of it but is still good. Swimming pool very nice and relaxing, and cafe very nice
Negative experience: Visited the spa on the weekend, I found the spa are nice and the spa staff friendly and this is where the good points end. The mens changing room was dirty, with the floor a brown grey color, the changing room was busy and as there are only 3 benches i had to wait to use one, the main pool had black mold growing in places with a horrible smell from the steam room, the family changing ares are just ridiculous with no where to put you items and the room just facilities too.
Hi Rich, Thank you for your thoughts, the showers which get left on by some members are been swapped for auto cutoff, as the changing rooms are quite large and the showers are to one side all the showers must of been left on to cause an issue, on your next visit to the club please tell reception of any issue's so they react to them.
Fantastic experience: Best gym in solihull. Staff always happy to see you and have a chat. The Equipment is the new smartphone compatible technogym stuff and the variety of machines is endless. Great gym great price.
Positive experience: Not really worth the money at all, equiptment is good but the atmosphere is poor, music is dead quiet. Spa is what should make it worthwhile paying £70 but the steamroom is more often than not cold, sauna is ok but needs tinted windows and a sand timer. Showers broken and it always smells in the changing room. Experienced better facilities for half the price elsewhere
Fantastic experience: Have joined Liberty Leisure after being a member of another well know brand for more than 20 years . I have to say I am very happy with the facilities and all the friendly staff that are working hard to make Liberty Leisure the health club of choice in and around the Solihull / Shirley area
Negative experience: Scam gym. Classes advertised are always cancelled at the last minute as instructors “sick” “stuck at another appointment” “not turned up” which translates the club don’t want to pay for instructors. . 75% of classes I was booked onto were cancelled. Not sure why it’s called a spa when no sign of a spa area ever opening. EDIT - No communication till this review about the spa. No air conditioning as they don’t want to pay for it to be installed. Never respond to emails, non existent customer service. Even trying to cancel membership they ignore you. For anyone thinking of joining unless you want to swim, you are throwing £70 a month down the drain. EDIT - never had a response to the 8 emails I sent, manager never around to speak to. Had to contact the Redditch gym to cancel as no response from Solihull - until I share my honest review.
Hi Sarah, I am sorry a few of your classes got cancelled but we cannot force a instructor to attend, The SPA will open at the end of August, the signage was installed in reception before the opening as you may of complained about workmen putting the signage up whilst you where attending the gym in the reception area. Your membership was cancelled upon your request. If you have any other concerns please pop into reception and we wish you well on your journey
Fantastic experience: I tried out the spicy chicken wrap at their newly opened retuarant. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and bar service. Good job Liberty.
Fantastic experience: Really good gym with loads of kit and lovley staff. Still some teething issues as it's not been open long but it's started off promising
Negative experience: Very unprofessional gym, staff are rude
Fantastic experience: Recently came for show around, reception team are lovely and welcoming. Gym facilities are all the latest equipment, can’t wait to join!
Fantastic experience: Amazing equipment and Chef Bobby’s grilled sweet chilli chicken wrap was a great post-workout meal
Positive experience: Really spacious gym, lots of equipment, staff friendly. Love going to the sauna or steam room after a workout. I do Pilates with instructors twice a week, tough but fun.
Negative experience: Average leisure centre, needs much more work to make it worth the price. Shower facilities have low water pressure, no water pressure or temperature control, small shower cubicles and shower heads that are the same as the sub-standard ones just like student accommodations back in the day. Hygiene is poor and cleaners are hardly seen during the day, the state of the changing room and shower rooms are disgusting by the end of the day. Everything is just not what you would expect at all for a gym that's trying to sell £70 per month membership. AVOID if you don't want to be disturbed by children while you work out! The fact that children goes free with adult members means the place basically becomes a playground, families playing ball games in the swimming pool, kids diving into the 1.2m pool head first, whilst you are trying to get a good swim is horrendous and the staff aren't around enough to care. Grown adults sharing a children's pool with children under 10 unsupervised is also a incident waiting to happen.
Fantastic experience: I’ve just joined Solihull club, it’s really clean and spacious! The classes a fun snd friendly. I’m having a great time.
Positive experience: Always loved this gym's location The company that has taken it over and refurbished it are doing a amazing job. Looks like they are delivering a quality gym at very competitive prices
Fantastic experience: This place is like lifestyles of the rich and famous!
Fantastic experience: Brilliant facilities and a massive improvement from the old David Lloyd
Fantastic experience: Will be joining, amazing place. Good staff. Have since joined and am a regular here. All cool, good selection of isolated machines. Plenty of space to manoeuvre.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic equipment spacious gym. Two large studios and ladies gym. Top notch kit and beautiful pool. Staff super friendly and very helpful. Membership costs are unbelievable for what is here. This is the place everything will want to be seen
We really appreciate the feedback! Great to hear you're enjoying the facilities. :)
Fantastic experience: Such a spacious fantastically equipped gym. So much amazing equipment t. Cafe is huge too. Spa not quite ready but looks amazing. They’ve done an amazing job. Keep it up.
Thanks Mary, we should have the Spa open in no time for you :)
Fantastic experience: Recently came in for a show around, and was greeted by Scott. He was very knowledgeable about the gym, the facilities on offer and advised me on the best membership options for myself and my friend. Liberty Leisure have created easily one of, if not, the best gym in the area!
Thank you Katie. Scott's a valuable member of the team :)
Fantastic experience: Amazing family friendly gym!!! Since joining, always greeted with a smile by Sid and Mia at FOH and feel welcomed. Keith (project manager) also very accommodating, friendly and approachable. The gym itself is very clean and tidy and more than enough equipment that you could ever need. Pool is big and clean and so far my kids have had plenty of fun and enjoyed a lovely hot chocolate in the cafe afterwards. Keep up the good work team LLS!!
Thats amazing Shabir, We're so pleased your enjoying the new club and its facilities :)
Negative experience: Omdz this gym is a scam worst gym ever been to the lockers are tiny can’t fit a gym bag in there, there is no privacy a female cleaner will walk inside the mens changing room then the boxing bag is so low you will have to squat to punch it also the showers are terrible hardly any water comes out the sauna is so hot you can not even sit down on bench you will get burnt and after 1 min you have to run out or you will burn your throat I also burnt my hand on the door handle, and the steam room it stinks hardly any steam comes out and the door does not shut properly also it is very dirty the floor this has to be the worst gym ever for the price to.
Hey, We're sorry to hear this and if you want to email us [email protected] and tell us more about your experiences so we can address some of the items you're displeased with, it would be super helpful. We hope to hear from you soon :)
Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant facilities, top notch equipment and the coffees good too.
It's great to hear. We hope you continue enjoying the facilities for many years to come :)
Negative experience: False advertising, messy gym unprofessional owners and a bit of a scam, avoid!
Hey Matt, We're sorry you feel this way. We would love to hear more about your experience if you could either email customer service with your contact details or send us a DM through social media we can get in touch. Thanks Matt.
Negative experience: Dont bother with the advertised 16-18 young membership as once you get there they tell you it is not for people who are 18!!! Appalling customer service. Only gets 1 star as you can't give zero.
Hey Sam, We apologise for the confusion over the age brackets. Our membership brackets are children under 14 are free with a full adult membership. Our children's membership is 14-16 years of age with our young adults membership ranging from 16-18 years of age and then our adult memberships are 18+. If you would like to tell us more about your experience please email us directly and we'll be happy to help. Thanks Sam.
