Loxford Park Outdoor Gym

Positive experience: Pretty okay for a free gym, just wish there was more of a selection

Positive experience: There is a small outdoor gym with small number of gym equipments located next to the Tennis Courts. Outdoor Gym is located right next to the pedestrian entrance on the Twyford Road off Eton Road! This is free to use and fun way to keep active whilst immersed into the greens. It is being said - "By using the outdoor gyms frequently this will enable you to maintain/lose weight, strengthen your body, increase your fitness levels and improve mental wellbeing." This area of the park is made of concrete surface suitable for all weather! However, it would have been much better and safer for gym users if it has soft rubber surfaces because of the type of usage a gym has! Nearby Tennis Courts do not have any nets and most importantly, it doesn't seem to be in use. The Friends of Loxford Fitness & FunTable Tennis Tables are located next to the gym equipments. Sadly, this part of the park is prone to be littered with....... We all visitors need to take responsibility of keeping this park safe, clean & tidy for everyone's comfort, safety & use!
