Positive experience: It's a private school.

Fantastic experience: My son, age 5 goes there swimming. The lessons are super professional, staff amazing. Facilities not amazing maybe but good enough really. The assessment with Luke was really great - my son behaved really well. Lessons with Tom were just top. I feel like they really observe kids progress. Thank you Leys:)

Fantastic experience: Brilliant place

Negative experience: I have been going to the Leys gym for the past 3 years and overall I have had an amazing experience there, except for one thing. There is a certain member of staff who is possibly the most disrespectful person I have ever met, she treats everyone like dirt and is just plain rude, I regret walking in every time I see her sitting behind the desk. It's such a shame that a lovely place is ruined by one bad egg.

Negative experience: We just moved to Cambridge from London, had my 1st swimming lesson for my 5 years old daughter in Leys swimming club, security guard is rude, swimming instructor is rude, I would not sign up again . The administrator who called up to register for my daughter was rude too - said "you want to sign up or not ???" I was asking which days of holiday break that they will have, he said no idea but you want to sign up or not ? His answer was "once you paid you will know ?!" You cannot drop off, you cannot pickup at the Leys swimming pool, their car park facilities are 15 to 20mins walk to swimming pool, you cannot walk thru the school , you have to walk outside round the school, for a young 5 years to walk there and back in the winter wet and cold weather?! You do not feel welcome to the leys swimming club at all!!! Unbelievable services that they provided and hard to believe its part of an independent school.

Negative experience: It wasn't mentioned anywhere that rackets aren't provided due to exaggerated covid measures. After paying an arm and a leg to hire courts for an hour and a half I just got my time and money completely wasted. Won't be coming to this badly run establishment ever again.

Fantastic experience: I've played squash here numerous times and it's generally been a great experience. There were a couple of times when there were leaks in the roof and that caused problems, but generally the courts are great to play on and the glass backs are good for viewing. It would be better if they had a gallery viewing style instead of just at the back of the glass, but that seems to be the modern design of squash facilities, so can't really complain too much!

Fantastic experience: I liked the completeness of the facilities there.

Fantastic experience: We took our son for an intensive 1-week swimming course, as he is very behind compared to his school mates. He had half an hour each day with a woman called Lucy, who was utterly amazing and moved him on from being afraid of the water to being able to swim up and down the whole length (with a float) - she provided really superb tuition and understanding. Heartily recommended, I'm absolutely delighted with what she's achieved with him.
