Fantastic experience: I always swim and have tried the rock climbing and gym. It’s wonderful. There’s a lovely place for study and chatting with friends

Positive experience: The equipment in the gym is a little lackluster but staff are lovely and very kind

Negative experience: Great classes and friendly teachers. I really enjoy Tai Chi and Yoga (though the yoga books up too quick!) The gym facilities are a little small and I'm not a fan of unisex changing, it can be a fight to find a locker at busy times. Okay for if you're on campus but otherwise I'd recommend a 24-hour gym, they're cheaper, easier and usually have parking!

Positive experience: The gym has good facilities but it is not big enough for the amount of users, it would be useful to use the old gym so more people can use it! The classes are excellent however and I would really recommend trying them! Especially Zumba!

Positive experience: New facilities and class timetables (especially Zumba with Michaela!) are great, really varied, but overall still quite small and unorganized, hard to get time where it isn't busy

Negative experience: A very Rude staff shouted at me! a middle age man with rhombus-shaped face with moustache (most staff are friendly, but he is the only rude one i have ever met) my kid was in the swimming class and i was near the poolside, for a sudden there is a very rude staff came in and shouted at me said “I told you before you cannot wear outdoor shoes in!”, so i apologised and said sorry I don’t know that, he shouted again said “I have told you a couple weeks ago that you’re not allowed to wear outdoor shoes.” I was very confused as that’s the first time i met him, so i told him i never seem him before, he shouted again said “No, I saw you couples weeks ago and I told you the same thing, I remembered your face!’ lol (I was being polite to him the whole time) first, i have to apologise I didn’t notice the sign “No Outdoor Footwear”before and I promise not to do it again, but I swear to god i never met him before(please check the cctv outside the pool door to confirm if he wanted to lol), so I really don’t get the point of why he keep repeating these, he totally lost his temper in the whole conversation and I don’t feel respected! Don’t think shouting is the good way to communicate, please learn to talk next time angry man…

Fantastic experience: Large gym with good facilities. Lots of squat racks. Lots of changing rooms and nice showers. I use it very regularly and the new facilities has really made a brilliant difference

Fantastic experience: Best gym ever! You really can’t get better. The facilities are amazing, even before the refurb I still thought it was great. The range of classes are brilliant with instructors like Mikayla who is a ray of sunshine, but they also have the virtual ones so there is always something going on. The best bit about this gym is the staff, everyone is so nice and go above and beyond for you. Unlike other gyms I’ve been to, you don’t really get to know the staff but at Jubilee everyone is so friendly and approachable! Oh and the gym/pool members are also lovely as I met one of best friends here. It is the best!

Positive experience: My review is from an interested customer only. The new gym looks very neat and staff is very friendly and informative. It doesn’t work for me because I can’t take my 11yo as I can in other gyms, there’s no customer parking and traffic in and out of Southampton, at the it suits me, is horrendous.

Positive experience: Really great facilities with lots of regular classes being run - would recommend tai chi particularly. Gym is clean and open plan with a decent mix of machines.

Positive experience: 1. The worst part of this Center is that they don’t have a Car Park , they are expecting public people to join but they don’t have parking . 2. Secondly , they built a new place with gym but they haven’t managed to put in place a Sauna . In regards to customer service, they are brilliant. Team is very friendly and helpful and always there to support , especially Ewan which has helped a lot I hope they can improve in future and think more about car park and sauna , that would make it perfect!

Negative experience: New gym is too small for the amount of students and staff, there are not enough toilets, and they are also outside of the barrier, which is annoying to access during a workout. The unisex changing rooms were a bad idea, and there aren't enough lockers for everyone. If you buy a day pass, it is hard to get in and out the barrier as staff are normally missing. Disappointing after the hype surrounding its construction although the new machines tracking the eccentric movement of reps is a plus.
