Negative experience: Took a year’s membership from me plus I paid for 6 personal training sessions, they closed without warning and kept my money, nearly £400. Refused to return my calls or answer my emails

Negative experience: I don’t recommend it at all!

Negative experience: I would like a response to my potential data breach complaint please and my subsequent data access request which has not been responded to . I take data security very seriously and believe on this occasion you have b reached your legal parameters , poor service , and do not trust with your personal date. I would like a response please

Negative experience: EDIT: They changed all the staff at the gym, the last time I went the lady had no idea how to help me with any of my questions. I’ve since called twice and emailed twice to confirm the cancellation of my membership, which reaches the end of its 12 month period this month, and not been able to contact anyone. You can get cheaper, better equipped gyms with no tie in. The only thing that set this apart was the support. Previous review (8 months ago) I love this gym, I'm not exactly a fitness fanatic and at other gyms I sometimes feel bad about myself, at Shapers I'm so comfortable. I love going and that makes me go more often. The support is amazing, the ladies are always on hand to help. I'm so glad I made the decision to join.

Fantastic experience: After feeling quite lost for sometime now I finally forced myself to join shapers and it’s the best thing I’ve done in a very long time ! The staff are just wonderful, very friendly but professional at the same time . These last couple of weeks of throwing myself into everything shapers has to offer has put the spring back in my step that had been missing for quite some time and I finally feel alive again . Originally I was worried about being looked at because I was so unfit but quickly I learnt we were all in the same boat and I was no different than anyone else . I have met some truly wonderful ladies and I have thoroughly enjoyed myself working hard to not only looking fabulous but more importantly FEELING fabulous ❤️ Big up the Gravesend shapers team x

Fantastic experience: Hello, I struggled with weight for a long time tried different diets and exercises but none of that really worked.So i decided to go to the shaper gym in gravesend. In 8 weeks and i lost 10 inches. I highly recommend this gym, I am very pleased always fell comfortable to go there. Also Ladies that work in this gym are very nice and always happy to help.

Positive experience: First visit to Shapers this morning, for my induction, and wow it was really good, Thank you Olivia for pushing me. I generally feel good after. Looking foward to going back Friday. Definitely would recommend Shapers to all women.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very friendly, helpful and supportive. They ask way you want to go there and give you things to your ability. Even if you have a bad back like me or big as well they give you the support you need and push you to do your best at doing them things. I have done my best due to the support of Lisa my trainer and with out her support for pushing me. I wouldn't of lost 8.9 kg or 1st 5lb in just 3 weeks of being with shapers. I really enjoy going because every time I come to the gym I push my self a little harder every time.

Negative experience: Opening times not good at all for those who work. Used to be a member over a year ago and there were numerous issues. Went back recently to see if it had improved but hasn't. Really disappointing for such a good brand idea. Just not working for some reason...

Negative experience: I left because the staff there were very rude and unprofessional. The only staff Maxine who was very good left. She had time for everyone. The so called manager at the time did not have time for no one as she was always on the phone. Then the equipment did not work and when you speak up about the staff are so rude and they just forbe you off

Negative experience: The manager in Gravesend is very rude! She doesn’t welcome you with a smile and majority of the staff seem unqualified like they don’t know what they are doing. I loved ONE lady there and she was there around 3 months and I’m so sad she’s gone. Their turnover of staff is so sad. Wouldn’t really recommend this gym tbh

Negative experience: The equipment was okay and they treat you okay while you're a member but when you have to step out of membership for health reasons they treat you like a criminal who's trying to steal from them. They made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and anxious when I had to step away due to back issues and a torn tendon. I will never return to them.

Positive experience: Nice quiet little gym. Not the best but has everything I need for a lunchtime workout. Needs a little bit of love.

Fantastic experience: I usually go to the gym whenever I have time, but shapers is really good for anyone who is a beginner, the staff are nice and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Really wanted to join a gym and fancied the idea of a ladies only gym. Bit nervous about going due to cliques but I didn't need to worry. Really lovely ladies here. Carla has been amazing talks you through everything step by step and is very encouraging. Glad I joined.
