Fantastic experience: This gym has upgraded massively over the last years and the staff are always so lovely and helpful, especially Maisie and Emilia have always and quickly assisted me. The general manager Gordon has also assisted on more serious matters and been there to over see everything.

Fantastic experience: Better Pancras Square has really improved recently, and it’s a great place to work out and unwind. The facilities are always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. The gym equipment is well-maintained, and the pool area is always a pleasure to use. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a quality fitness experience

Adam Ahmed 8 months ago

Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting Better Pancras Square for a while, and I have to say the new general manager is doing a fantastic job! The facility is cleaner, more organized, and the staff are more attentive than ever. There’s a noticeable improvement in customer service, and everything runs much more smoothly. It’s great to see positive changes, and I look forward to coming here even more now

Positive experience: Just started there this week from another fitness facility and so far so good!!

P.Flower F 9 months ago

Negative experience: The pool is nice, bit busy in the evening. Changing rooms are extremely cold, and showers barely have hot water. Also, some maintenance in the showers wouldn't be bad. Not the best leisure centre within Better.

Kylen Williams 9 months ago

Positive experience: The lockers still have insert 20p signs on even though they use tokens which you need to buy. It was very annoying and I didn’t realise until after putting in a few coins! There isn’t even much signage around either. Management need to sort it out. The pool itself was warm which makes a change as gll competition pools are usually verging on un heated.

Negative experience: !!They don’t Care !!! Worst leisure centre in city Not sure what Camden council is waiting for !! 3 years since jacuzzi broken Every 2 months Sauna or stream room broken ,You can’t sit here you can’t sit there . Massive cut down on sauna and steam opening timings Today almost a week sauna is broken they say go use other branch , are they paying for travel and compensation no sorry Why am I paying £60 for month for ?

Alaska Music 9 months ago

Negative experience: I like this gym, but it's such a shame that the showers are so cold... many people tell me they've complained and nothing is done. In fact, its gotten to the point where everyone using the disabled shower because you can control the heat which can hinder those with access needs... the showers shouldn't be so cold that this happens, especially in winter

Fantastic experience: I am fortunate to travel quite a bit, and I have had the experience of working out in what would be described as higher-end facilities. Frankly, I prefer Pancras Square Leisure. It has everything I needed, and more. And the staff are excellent. Better UK. Best experience.

Negative experience: Nice place, we go regularly for swimming with the kids, but there’s an irritating habit of slots being cancelled with little notice; three times since the summer. Most recently we had 40 minute notice, we were already on our way! Cally Pool much more reliable

Negative experience: Some of the managers are useless sauna hasn’t worked for the last three months. Jacuzzi haven’t worked for for for two years. Change room is filthy and dirty. Be cautious if you want to get a membership

Fantastic experience: Maisie the receptionist, is an absolute daisy! Maisie is a fantastic asset to London St Pancras Leisure Centre in the heart of London. She is always smiling and exudes positive energy. Maisie was amazing in assisting me with my "Better" student membership. Thanks to her, the whole process went smoothly! I strongly believe that she deserves a promotion for her exceptional emotional intelligence Thank you for bringing her on board with the "Better" team.

Negative experience: A great gym, but a disappointing experience with the reception. I’ve enjoyed my sessions here, and the facilities are excellent. However, I was extremely disappointed with the reception during my recent visit. The staff member, a woman at the front desk, was very rude and refused to let my friend join me for a trial session, even though he met all the required conditions (age, trial session eligibility). Her attitude was unprofessional, and she even threatened to revoke my membership, which is unacceptable. This was especially surprising since I’ve brought a friend for a session before without any issues. While the gym itself is great, the customer service needs serious improvement. This version maintains a professional tone while addressing the concerns clearly.

York Shen (YorkShen) 1 year ago

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. I was denied to have a visit before burying a membership. Luckily for me, there are so many other gyms for me to visit, which doesn’t charge me a penny.

Kate Beeching 1 year ago

Negative experience: What a shame to take people's 20p in lockers or require buying 3 tokens for £1. This just adds a petty sting if you are a regular member. And it nicked my 20p without letting me lock. This is the only better facility I've come across that does this.

Negative experience: Can’t finish complaining Lame network Lagin issue No customer support Pissed off from their behaviour

David Kerr (ELOHIM) 1 year ago

Positive experience: £2.60 shower king of kings.._

Barclay Webster 1 year ago

Positive experience: The paid lockers are annoying. Half of them swallow your money without locking too. If you can get past this and bring flip flops for the shower/pool to avoid a slight feeling of grime, then it’s a great gym. Lots of cutting edge equipment, functional (and always busy) lap pool, and even free library upstairs if you want to flex those mental muscles.

Fe Po 1 year ago

Negative experience: Be aware of the penalty, since they changed the entry requirements at the gates out of 3 visits to the centre in 3 weeks, I have been given 2 penalties of "non attendance" to a class that i have attended. I know from talking to other customers that I am not the only one with the same problem but better does not seem to rectify their computer/gate "upgrade" huge mistake and we are all paying extra for that mismanagement.

Robin Deaconu 1 year ago

Negative experience: The pool changing rooms are filthy. The lanes are not monitored by staff, so you end up with people in the slow lanes standing in the water and blocking the lane as the faster ones get busy. They also keep 3 lanes for the kids swimming lessons when most of the time 2 are enough. Lastly beware of the hidden 20 day cancellation notice which is a shameless way of making you pay an extra month.

Scarlette Heywood Marx 1 year ago

Positive experience: Amazing equipment great staff and good facilities, the reason this loses 2 stars is because of their 20 day membership cancellation notice, I wasn’t informed when I signed up and when this affected me all they said was that it’s in the terms and conditions. this is something that should definitely be mentioned to new members. I know this sounds like a me problem but it really feels scammy. I have a whole month extra at the gym that I paid for that I don’t need.

Remain Anonymous 1 year ago

Negative experience: This better leisure facility has no awareness of hidden disabilities, I am autistic. Every time I attend, I have to ask for the disabled change to be opened which causes more anxiety for me. It's an unpractical system, as all those at the front desk will be aware of your request, sometimes you have to wait in the que which can be long, then to get down stairs to find it still isn't opened! Staff on the front desk look at me, and roll their eyes. Which makes me extremely uncomfortable and anxious. I do not have to prove my disability to anyone. But it seems this leisure complex has no awareness of hidden disabilities. Staff are rude, and not approachable. The Australian bald life guard who usually works on Monday mornings is very rude, and patronising. He is also bias, only targeting certain people when it comes to lane discipline. I have complained about this matter of lack disability awareness on numerous occasions to members of staff and even the manager, but it continues. So, I will not be returning back to this pool again! Avoid this leisure centre, otherwise you get discriminated against and have to shower in dirty changing rooms at the end of it!

Matt Johnson 1 year ago

Positive experience: OK, but expensive. £7.70 for non-membership swim. £5.60 in E17. What gives. Add 30p for a token for a locker (which is taking the mickey frankly). Changing rooms are small as well. Pools OK but crowded.

Alexa Cam 1 year ago

Negative experience: How is it possible that now they charge £13 for using the gym, £12 for classes and £17 for sauna??! What’s the point of paying a membership if they’re gonna charge this amount of money for each facility? I’m cancelling my membership now.

Fantastic experience: This is a small centre located within the Camden Council Building. Clean bright, very well equipped decent sized gym, decent sized 5 lane swimming pool with separate small pool for small children, sauna and steam pool side. There are 2 studios downstairs for the fitness classes. Lovely staff, the tall brown lady at the reception desk was very helpful and patient with us during the membership process.

Negative experience: This place is going down the hill they say wear wrist band and do book online sauna& steam and when you do so and turn up hour early for gym and sauna they will not give wrist band and will ask to come back on time receptionist new staff is extremely rude if she’s on computer you just have to wait till she’s free to just hand over a wrist band.unfriendly place

Fantastic experience: I used to come here to swim when it first opened. Beautiful pool to swim in. I came again about a year ago and was disappointed to see it looking pretty grubby and run down. But I have to say the place is in top shape again. The pool is clean, well lit, the colour wall is fun, once again it's a beautiful pool to swim in.

Johnnie Moore 1 year ago

Positive experience: Swam here as a one-off visit while in London despite some of the reviews here. I thought it was much better than expected and it's a super convenient location for travellers into or via King's Cross/St Pancras. Would have given 5 stars but for the stupid 30p token system for lockers which is just a scam. Just include in the cost instead of messing us around. By the way, take soap poolside so you only use locker once!

Yahya 1 year ago

Negative experience: Gym is in a nice area but the machines are so cramped and 3/4 of the gym is wasted on cardio that is never used (Even on new years)

faye barnes 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: I love going here. It's nice, spacious and clean! It can get busy at times, it just depends on what time you go there to do your sweaty workout

paul peters 1 year ago

Negative experience: This locations abysmal cleanliness standards are glaringly evident in the men's shower rooms, with an alarming presence of worms and flies. The cleaning staff's negligence, underscored by their apparent reluctance to use disinfectant, leaves a persistent unclean ambiance, even during their so-called "cleaning" activities. It's apparent that the staff's training focuses more on cosmetic mark removal than actual cleanliness or disinfection. Prepare to encounter nails, pubic hairs, and various bodily fluids in the showers—a truly disgraceful situation. I must discourage anyone from even considering this facility due to these severe hygiene concerns. Brace yourself and pack loads of bottles of Dettol and sanitiser - slippers are a must if you even dare to venture in. It's far wiser to avoid this place entirely. Shockingly, despite being informed over 5 months ago, the manager has taken no corrective action, as the staff candidly revealed. It's so important to bring this gross hygiene lapse to the attention of the council housed in the same building. It’s Shameful and appears a result of cost cutting the staff say. Something really need be done here if they’re to stay operational.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym, all equipment are clean and water as well in the pool

Gentleman Biscuit 2 years ago

Negative experience: Lockers The lockers being 30p for every close, not every use, is not acceptable. It means you need to pay 60p each swim to store your items then retrieve your soap and take a shower at the end of your swim. This locker situation is completely different form other Better swimming pools and is completely unacceptable when you are paying 43pounds a month already, if you swim 15 times a months that 4,5pounds in locker fees which is ridiculous. Staff I enquired about the lockers at the front desk, the FOH employee was rude, dismissive and short when I asked about this and why it was different in other better gyms. Changing rooms Okay, quite small compared to other pools Pool Good, nice to have natural light. Not sure about the changing colours on the side wall :)

Wendy Stevens 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: Nice clean gym. Staff are good. Instructors are good. Love the classes.

Kate 2 years ago

Negative experience: You have to pay 30p every time you open and close the lockers, which is outrageous. Staff could not get a token out of my locker. Pool rules not enforced and the sauna is tiny. Not worth the money and not impressed.

Yvetta Ralcheva 2 years ago

Negative experience: We were hoping to stay for their "Inclusive" swimming session, which, was supposed to be for people of various ages and abilities but were told that this is exclusive for registered disabled people. This is clearly misdescribed on their website, as are their opening hours. One of the women/lifeguards with an Australian accent was rude and argumentative. She also seemed to ignore what information appeared on their website. I was having quite bad back problems on the day and needed to swim but this was not possible due to their restrictions. This is supposed to be a public swimming pool open to all and encouraging people to pursue sports activities. It is not acceptable to exclude various groups of people from using the facilities altogether at different times of the day based on their gender or health. There are discriminatory practices taking place here. Branding these exclusions as "inclusive" is insulting, while describing them as open to people of all ages or abilities is mis selling. Being rude to paying guests is also unacceptable. We would suggest that the offending member of staff undergoes further training on her customer service skills as well as centre-specific information or at least she refrains from arguing. Ultimately, an obnoxious person is not suitable for a public-facing job. The changing rooms were also poor, small and cramped with only 3 showers. The one I used didn't lock while another one was too small. There was a huge pushchair parked in this small space and on the way out there was a boy in the female changing rooms... This is an overall unacceptable swimming pool that doesn't fulfil its purpose and by far the worst out of all the "Better" ones that we have tried. "We hope that Better"'s suitability to run this swimming centre is re-examined.

Negative experience: You have to pay a fee every time you get a locker, they are trying to make money from everything. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place for appointment , dine, and relex

Shima Hosseini 2 years ago

Positive experience: I go here most of the time for swimming and also for sauna but I was not happy with the changing rooms they are very dirty

Helene Maloigne 2 years ago

Negative experience: Went there to use the pool so this review does not reflect conditions in the gym. The women's changing rooms are filthy. The floor hasn't been cleaned properly for a while as is clear from the lighter colour under the benches. Clearly no cleaning is done on a regular basis during the day, judging from the amount of hair, rubbish (including panty liners) on the floor. The pool area itself is clean. Staff are rude. The person on the desk just about acknowledged my existence enough to take my payment. When I told about the state of the changing rooms when I was leaving, they just turned away and ignored me. I think it's a rip-off to charge for the use of lockers! You have to buy tokens at 30p each, which are not returned.

Tanveer Yahya 2 years ago

Negative experience: Very difficult to have a decent swimming session here. Tight lanes making it awkward and just very unpleasant to swim with three people in one lane. Also quite disappointed that I wasn’t allowed to swim besides my 8 year old brother even though he can swim fine and was asked to swim with him in the children’s pool. What a joke. I mean how does a grown man ask me to do that? Hilarious.

Elena Williams 2 years ago

Positive experience: As you'd expect from a local non-profit leisure centre. Friendly staff, nice instructors. Some classes/instructors are cliquey, but overall they're good and the other members are friendly. Gym is OK, but not much floor space for stretching. Not an insta or tiktok gym, fortunately. Great pool when not busy, but I'm often sharing a lane with three people, and not everyone follows the lane speed instructions, so it can be incredibly frustrating and not a great swim. More could be made of the pool, like aqua aerobics and HIIT classes, the big names gyms do much better at this. Pool changing room is not well maintained and gets very grotty and disgusting by the afternoon. But I like still like this place, and it's convenient for me.

Gaurav Puria 2 years ago

Negative experience: I'd give a 0 if possible. Imagine paying for a full membership, then paying about 10% more just to use lockers. Come 5x a week, you'd pay £6 every month just to buy locker tokens, absolutely absurd

Kadi D 2 years ago

Positive experience: The venue is conveniently located, clean and well equipped. I use it weekly as part of my multi centre membership for classes I like. Staff and people are friendly

THE BIG SHOWCASE 2 years ago

Negative experience: One of the worst gyms I’ve been too. Too much ego, you can’t work out in peace. Locker area not secure. You will not enjoy yourself here (I have a bodybuilding background and this is a sad depressing place). Go to fitness first or a dedicated professional gym.

G C 2 years ago

Positive experience: It’s a multifunctional gym, quite big for London standards, although I only use the gym. The free weights are ok but do get busy at times. My only complaint is the lockers. They were poorly installed to start with. Many of the locker door do not close properly and therefore are useless. When the centre gets busy sometimes it can be challenging to find a useable locker. The management seem not to care. Many of the broken lockers have been left this way for many years.

T4NV1R4HM3D 3 years ago

Positive experience: Decent gym price is stupid, a/c is constantly broken for weeks, wide cables machine is uneven in terms of weight and has been like that for 6 months+ and one of the free bench doesn’t adjust. Staff don’t really check nor care.

David Trezeguet 3 years ago

Negative experience: Like most gyms in London the weights area Is ridiculously small in comparison to the amount of unused cardio machines.. Its always packed all time of day.. the mens shower floors are gross with hair and dirt, there is only 1 changing cubicle in the mens. you won’t be able to get a workout done quickly either because there is always a full natty brah hoarding the 1 squat rack there and they take an hour to finish their sets.

Rob Koreniks 3 years ago

Negative experience: always seems dirty! mens changing rooms always have some garbage on the floor & don’t look properly cleaned. floors are grimy

Mike England 3 years ago

Positive experience: I can only speak for the gym - it is a decent size. Normally can get access to equipment but evenings are busy. Large cardio area. Reason for 3/5 is that the gym is often filthy. For example the free weight rack has probably never been cleaned, meaning every time you lift a weight up it’s full of dirt. Often cleaning supplies run out too. Another thing is that because it’s in camden, if you live in Islington only a couple hundred metres away you have to pay quite a bit more than someone that lives say 2-3 miles away in Chalk Farm. Would be nice if this was sorted out.

Llewelyn Jones 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: Great big gym, lovely swimming pool. Great location. Massive shame the government is tearing the heart out of our nation and choking public services to the point of danger. Welcome to the UKDecay. Sad state of the state, massive shock the lack of pride successive governments have in the nations they serve. Regardless of political persuasion a basic level of state functionality is needed to alow planet and people to thrive. We have lost our way blinded by greed.

alana ngọc 3 years ago

Positive experience: great community, some of the gym equipment don’t work sometimes so they have to fix it. doesn’t have as much variety than other gyms i’ve been to but overall i can work with what’s there

Sarah Vaitkus 3 years ago

Positive experience: Great gym, and people. Only issue is that most machines are broken and they take their time to fix them, also sometimes there are machines that are broken but don't have 'out of order signs' on them so when you go to use it it's broken. Would be great if the lockers in the changing rooms downstairs would use those reusable tokens instead of having to put 20p in them. Staff also should have cash on hand if people need change or install a change machine.

Aminul H 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: I used to come to this Leisure Centre. There was adequate amounts of space and top quality equipments in the gym. The showers and changing room were of satisfactory standard and the swimming pool and sauna were always clean and well kept. You were given a progress tracker key which you could use to track all your machine work outs automatically or manually via entering the data in. I really enjoyed coming to this gym and it always felt good and motivating as it was not crowded or unkempt. The only downside was it was pretty expensive for its monthly subscription but then again it is a mid tier gym with a lot of services.

Dya 3 years ago

Positive experience: I like the layout and natural light of this gym. It could have newer running machines, but still okay. Worth mentioning the locker room is quite large which can be a real drag at some other places. This one could be cleaner, but can’t have everything can ya? The gym feels safe and staff is not rude which is a massive plus in London 2022.

Hermaleigh Townsley 3 years ago

Negative experience: Generally busy, changing rooms are often messy. You have to pay 20p to use the lockers but the gym itself is cashless so they can’t give you coins to use - which is ridiculous

M A 3 years ago

Positive experience: Its a very nice gym. However, there is very little floorspace and nowhere to skip or do things other than sit up or push ups. There is tons of equipment though so it depends on what you are there for

Fantastic experience: Used the childrens pool with my 1 year old son. It is ideal, he had so much fun and easily access for us both with the steps with me being pregnant again. Will definitely be back

Positive experience: Everyone keeps mentioning free towels, shampoo etc - not true, member or not you have to now pay £9 for a towel. Decent facilities but sauna and steam opening times are restricted.

Alex C 3 years ago

Negative experience: The swimming pool is quite nice. Staff is good. But the company asks for a 20-day cancellation notice. I’m sure they will have a great explanation to justify this, but the problem is you end up having to pay one month, because this is not something you expect, and rightfully so.

Alice C-Smith 3 years ago

Positive experience: Been a member for a long time, the gym is getting tatty and rusty, swimming pool and spa are good ,showers are hot, jaccuzzi very rarely works. Better could refurb the facilities to make it better!

Raúl K (Mendez) 4 years ago

Positive experience: There’s always something wrong in this gym - pools are closed, health suites are unusable, equipment sucks. I live 2 mins away from the gym but i’m not in “Camden” so I have to pay more than some people who live further. Do not recommend this gym, if you are reading this - please invest your money somewhere else

elma habibe 4 years ago

Negative experience: Extremely dirty unsafe and smelly with flies and insects flying around toilet and changing room, the floor and shower are always dirty and wet. It has not been cleaned for the past week now and we complained and yet nothing has been done, clearly the manager don’t give a F about it. Staff on the spa area are very rude and full of attitude and not helpful at all. Jacuzzi is turn off every week and we complained every week as we are paying every month and we expected to get the services paid for. We are extremely disappointed and the lock room is dirty as it has not been clean for the past month, we can’t even take shower or change as it smells very bad.

S A 4 years ago

Positive experience: Been coming here from day 1. It can be busy, but the new management and staff are friendly. The gym is good if you catch it when it is not busy, pool is usually busy but sauna and steam room are good. Compared to other better gyms equipment, facilities are modern and hygiene is a lot better.

John Bye 4 years ago

Positive experience: I've only used the swimming pool. Clean and tidy changing room and showers. Lockers cost 20p to use so remember to take one. The swimming pool has a strange aroma and took a couple of showers to get the smell off. Currently costs £6.60 for admission.

Sara Masarone 4 years ago

Negative experience: Edit: 2024: I’ve changed this to 2 stars because it used to be a great swimming pool but now it’s very poorly managed. The app doesn’t show all the bookable slots, speeds are not “enforced” in the different lanes, there is very little to no swimming etiquette: the lifeguards used to advice people to change lanes when needed, they don’t do it anymore so quite often you’ll get people going for very very slow swims in the fast lane and they need to be constantly overtaken. Quite often you’ll also get big groups of people standing at the end of the fast lane chatting so you can’t touch the wall anywhere to turn. Recently my friends and I have also noticed quite a few people who go straight from the sauna to the swimming pool dripping of sweat without taking a shower first. Hopefully it’s just temporary though.. ———- 2019: Great swimming pool

JB 95 4 years ago

Positive experience: Very good value for money considering location and facilities. However, had a few issues whilst being a member. - Air conditioning would often not be working - towels were old and smelly, also shower rooms not the most hygienic

M B 4 years ago

Negative experience: No I can't be bothered to scroll through to find the particular centre, no type filter, nor are they in alphabetical order! Tried to book in person, but covid is used as an excuse to funnel people into a broken app.

Nala E 4 years ago

Negative experience: They don't follow social distancing rules at all. The staff have their mask under their chin or under their nose, they don't keep their distance from you either. The swimming pool is overcrowded with people waiting at ends of the pool shoulder to shoulder. If you care for your health and follow social distancing rules, this is not the place to go for your workout.

Fantastic experience: “I’ve had an excellent experience at St Pancras Square Leisure Centre! The facilities are top-notch, with a spacious gym, clean and well-maintained swimming pool, and a wide variety of group classes. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. The location is also very convenient, and the atmosphere is welcoming, making it a fantastic place to work out or relax. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay active!”

Negative experience: So much of the equipment doesn't work (treadmills etc). and a lot of the staff are consistently rude. Also it is always very hot (air con???) Only go because of location convenience, but the temperature makes it less enjoyable

Jamesie Co-De 4 years ago

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Got everything you need. Reception staff are amazing. Most of the regulars are proper good stuff and like a little gym family and it's kitted out with premium health club equipment. Value for money wise I can't think of anywhere that could better it for what I look for in a gym....

Simon Thompson 4 years ago

Negative experience: Making this gym have a 'residents tariff' for Camden borough residents only despite the fact that it's significantly closer to larger swathes of Islington than most of Camden borough is ridiculous. The fact that someone who lives 4+ miles away can count as a 'resident' but someone 500m away doesn't just stinks of bad management.

Fantastic experience: I had been exercised at Pancras Square from my very first day in London. I worked out everyday. Lots of running machine or methods to use it. More importantly, I gained positive energy all time and refresh myself everytime. I love and thanks a lot to have such a great gym near my UCL flat. Many thanks

Positive experience: I used to enjoy using the pool when it first opened but I strongly believe they dropped the temperature of the water, and I now find it uncomfortably cold. The downstairs changing rooms are also freezing. Really puts me off going, especially in winter.

Fantastic experience: My favourite gym. I have yet to use swimming pools but apart from that, this is one of the most affordable and lovely gyms in the area

Negative experience: Getting a towel is hard. What's more, they love *Money* but they don’t respect customers. But there are plenty of gym materials and good personal trainers.

Positive experience: Nice leisure centre. All the facilities were kept clean. I only used the pool which was very nice

Positive experience: I do like this gym, however I find the ladies toilets down stairs rather disgusting. Always finding hair on the floor and shower room, or customers always leave empty bathroom essential around when there is a bin provided. Maybe there could be more in that changing room. The lockers hardly work, so often find items in them unlocked. As they take your 20p but don't lock. The lockers where you can use your own padlock are upstairs, not suitable if using Sauna,Steam, swim facilities Downstairs. The Jacuzzi is general cold too, would rather it warm in these winter months.

Positive experience: The swimming pool and wet change is all a bit cramped and I hate lockers that don't return your coin. Pool water seemed a bit cloudy but was a good cool temperature (26°C).

Negative experience: There's absolutely no upkeep, the changing rooms are filthy with stained tile walls, the floor tiles in the downstairs changing room are actually grey with built up dirt. Considering how much money Camden spent on this building it is beyond disheartening to watch the team that manage this gym quite literally drive it into the ground. The downstairs showers are calcified and rusty and the sauna has seen better days. Anyone giving this gym a 5 star on these reviews is someone who either works there or has been asked to put up a review. I threatened once that I would get health and safety involved and voila as if by magic the following day there was a hive of cleaning activity.

Negative experience: Possibly the worst gym I've been to since I started training. The way the changing rooms and padlock lockers are segregated added extra steps to my session. I didn't like that. The weights section, if you may, barely has equipment for the cables so you cant even do cable rows properly. The sauna offering for all saves this place from being a total mess If you want to do a full body workout...this place is probably not the one Staff are fab I must say...they answered all my questions I had because it was my first time there!

Negative experience: The facilities are quite good. But it's always absolutely fithly. Plasters everywhere on the floor round the pool, the bathrooms and changing facilities are rank and floors covered in filth whatever time of the day, toilets broken, hair all over the sauna and steam rooms. Whilst understanding that it's an affordable centre, there's no excuse for how disgustingly dirty it is. It's a shame, as otherwise it would be quite good.

Positive experience: the gym is good. But the personal trainers are a bit overpriced. And make you adapt to their schedules. As opposed to them adapting to yours.

Positive experience: Good facilities but when something is broken it takes forever to get fixed. Often there will be lockers that take your money but don't work - the staff are normally quite good with refunding you the amount, but it's still a hassle. My biggest criticism of this place is that nobody ever answers the phones if you call. I have let it ring and gone about my day, come back half an hour later and the phone will still be ringing. I don't know whether they just mute the phones but it is seriously annoying.

Positive experience: This gym was great when it first opened, now it’s beginning to look shabby. The sauna has been broken on and off for a while now. Equipment takes a long time to be fixed , the changing rooms downstairs are rarely clean and the pool is much colder than it use to be.

Fantastic experience: This leisure have everything you need, you don't need to bring your towel, shampoo and soap because is available in the leisure. Also in the reception they are very polite and advice you well what is good for you.

Negative experience: Terrible value for full-paying members at £54 per month. Air Conditioning didn't work over the summer, it was boiling hot. Now in winter, the heat is blasting and the gym is again boiling hot. Much of the equipment is broken and takes months to be repaired (some machines never at all!). WiFi is non-functional. Management completely unresponsive. Better off joining Anytime Fitness nearby at £35 per month.

Positive experience: It's an ok gym but it's too small when its busy. Equipment is often out of order or has issues. There have been a number of larger issues inc. broken air con, flooding, blocked drains etc that keep repeating and don't appear to be be fixed permanently. All in all ok but improvements need to be made
