Fantastic experience: Have joined the gym in January. Loving the yoga classes, especially the Sunday morning yoga with Helen! She is very professional, lovely and very friendly in the class and when I see her around the gym. I always try to not miss her class :) Also love the Thursday yoga class with Becky. She really knows what she is doing. :)
Negative experience: Nice pool but the opening times are awful and only a few lanes, Wednesday they only open to 7:15pm with a 45 minute session and Friday till 7pm with a 30 minute session, only till 4:30pm on weekends. If they add more lanes and increase the opening hours then it would be good.
Fantastic experience: Back in September I was referred to Egham Orbit on a GP Referral where I first met Helen. I was very apprehensive at first, but I have really enjoyed the past 6 months attending different classes with Helen, Mo and Steph who have all encouraged me. My fitness and health has certainly improved. I have since joined a a member as I enjoy the company of the other class members. Have found all the staff members and friendly and helpful what ever there job role.

Fantastic experience: i started to go to egham orbit back in october, my experience at the gym has been incredible, the facilities are amazing and the staff is incredible every time you enter everyone welcomes you with a bright smile and is happy to exchange a little conversation with you, Lucio and Helen are the one i had the chance to speak with the most and they bring a ray of sun in the gym. i started a PT training program with Helen and she’s the most supportive, helpful and kind person. would a 100% recommend

Positive experience: Good gym and spa facilities. Spa closes early and usage is limited to two hours slots. If spa was open for longer, then this issue would be eliminated as it would give customers penalty of time to use the facility without feeling rushed. Classes are limited and always full, more classes should be offered especially in the evening to give working people an opportunity to attend. Toilets are not well maintained. The membership fee is too expensive for what’s on offer.

Positive experience: The staff at reception and in the cafe are really friendly and welcoming. Facilities are brilliant. Have used the swimming pool for years for kids lessons, and has the cleanest changing rooms I have seen outside a hotel. The swimming teachers my kids have had are also really good and going to be missed. Finally the lady who I made my final membership payment to is a star

Positive experience: Nice gym! Great spa and lovely staff But why does this big space only offer 1 class for adult swimming lessons. Which is always booked up! I’ve been waiting to join the beginners adult swimming lessons for a while. The weekday crash course doesn’t work for me as it’s right in the middle of my working day Would be great for there to be more than 1 class for adults

Fantastic experience: I recently joined Egham Orbit Gym, Sally the sales manager has been super supportive and helpful and made joining such an easy process. Before I left she made sure that I was signed onto the Achieve Lifestyle app along with the Lifestyle fitness app to ensure I was good to go booking classes, swimming and the spa. The team have been super friendly and I would highly recommend this gym to all!

Negative experience: The gym was supposedly renovated , but it’s become worse Congested space , machines too close to each other . Lack of benches at peak time , only one machine available and is almost always taken , so you end up waiting Go look for a better gym elsewhere with the cost so high anyways here

Positive experience: I’m really enjoying the updates at the gym! The new machines keep my workouts fresh, and the yoga classes have been a great way to unwind and improve my flexibility. It feels like there’s something for everyone here, and it’s made me look forward to each visit even more. The only thing that would make it better is if the gym stayed open a little longer. With a busy schedule, having more flexible hours would be such a help. It’s a great place, and a few extra hours would make a big difference!

Have Simply Health through work so got 20% off the gym, swim, class Energiser package, along with a £75 of vouchers for half price bookings and complimentary entrance for friends (offer from Orbit on for the rest of October) Sign up was with Sally Legge, who was very efficient, friendly and helpful. A great start - really looking forward to my personal trainer session tomorrow, where I will be shown around the new gym and have a personal program created for me, which is so brilliant as I don’t have a clue whats what! Negative experience: The facility itself is clean and modern. I mostly take my children swimming. The website and navigation to just see the swim timetable and book is tortuous and not intuitive. The staff are nice but seem to have their hands tied adopting a “computer says no” mentality, as opposed to being able to make pragmatic decisions. This has happened several times e.g. wanting to take my 6 year old daughter swimming during the week. She can easily do 20 lengths (with me following), but she’s not allowed as she is “under the allowed age of 8” for lane swimming. No open sessions during the week! Excited to see the new Center open in Staines.
Negative experience: When I went to freeze my membership prior to the end of the month, I was sent a blunt email stating that I had to request this 2 weeks prior. This was never mentioned to me when I joined. Additionally, when the gym recently closed for refurbishment, I was never sent any emails or communication regarding this. I was then charged full price on the 1st October and when I requested an explanation for this, I was told in another blunt email that I was sent “several emails” regarding the gym closure and “several reminders” to freeze my membership. I was also offered no financial credit, despite Orbit not informing me. Not impressed with the service thus far.

Fantastic experience: My two children and I thoroughly enjoy our weekly swim lessons with Michelle- she is encouraging, patient and a great teacher! It's been lovely to see both children make steady progress and achieve their competencies thanks to Michelle's hard work and care. Zoe in the administrative team is always very helpful and communicates promptly with any queries relating to our swim classes- thank you again for all your help! :-)
Negative experience: Cleaning is non existent changing facilities are filthy, I have raised this for years and no improvement. Equipment in the gym is always broken and can take weeks or months to get fixed. Their customer service is shocking, its like they want you to leave. I do not recommend this gym, unless they have a complete overhaul of management & customer service.

Negative experience: I’m a member of the Orbit gym, tonight 06/08/24 at 4pm there where 2 kids/teenagers in the gym shouting, swearing and banging the equipment. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this in this gym. No staff members are stopping this behaviour. If this continues I will leave this gym. I can not recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been attending swimming lessons with Michelle since she was 18 months old, she's now 4 and is only leaving as she is off to school in September! If we could stay in Michelle's lessons we would as she is absolutely brilliant! The time, effort and compassion she gives to all the children in her class is second to none and I wouldn't have wanted my daughter to learn with anyone else. My daughters progression and joy throught the classes and stages has been a joy to see. I honestly couldn't recommend Egham Orbit, or Michelle enough. We will both miss coming and wish Michelle all the best for the future.

Positive experience: Nice new sports centre. The facilities are lovely and place still feels new. However the membership area needs rethinking. It’s not obvious that certain seats have special purposes. Was sitting on a bucket chair minding my own business whilst waiting for my son to finish his activity… and was pretty much asked to move! I’d already been sitting there for an hour and a half… but apparently the seats are needed for membership. They’d been empty for the previous hour and a half! It’s not really a very private location in a corridor and by the bins!! I did move as was quite embarrassing as the member of staff made such a loud fuss! Completely unnecessary to be honest. I’m sitting her and watching those precious seats… empty again! Was it really worth the scene? I notice a sign has now been put on those empty seats saying for membership use only. That blatantly wasn’t there earlier!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been wanting to write this review for a long time- but you know how life gets! I wanted to commend the superb lifeguards at egham orbit, specially as they are a group of young individuals! They all want to do the best for you! But I have to really give credit to one in particular, Chloe shines above the rest, her can do attitude and professionalism is beyond her years! She really can’t do enough to help you no matter how many other things she is doing! Her presence always makes my day better she knows all of her customers and always asks about myself and my family and of course my animals!!! She goes above and beyond In all that she does and brings everyone together it makes it feel like a real close knit community. Not to mention that the centre is always kept in an immaculate state which further adds to w wonderfully positive experience!!!! Xx

Fantastic experience: My daughter loves her swimming lessons at Egham Orbit! Her swimming teacher is lovely and calm. The group is small enough that they can get the extra help if they need it. Positive experience: This place is ok but a lot of the equipment in the gym is out of order all the time, some machines have been broken for over 4 months. With the gym already being quite small to begin with, it is a problem as there is a lot of queuing going on for the remaining equipment. Facilities could be cleaner, especially in the changing rooms and spa. On the bright side, the gym and spa staff are nice and friendly, and the sauna is really good.

Negative experience: I have been a member of this place since it was known as Egham Leisure Centre first under the council then later under the staff and now it's called Egham Orbit. It has gone through a few transformations from the beginning as a child when it was very traditional with squash courts, judo and karate being taught here and a gym that was larger than today was expanded to be even larger. There was a bar & pool playing area. Later on, the gym moved to the ground floor with a huge area to stretch and vast equipment. The staff were friendly and so we're the reception staff. I've been reading the review comments below for the past 5 years. Each person is going for different reasons either for classes or the spa the pool the gym or for their children to use the facilities. So each person will have a different perception based on the facilities used. Unfortunately, the majority of people have complained about the quality of the reception is rude and not friendly & not professional. I'm afraid I have to concur with repeated similar situations that I try to avoid going. I've even raised this to the customer service manager who didn't have any empathy or care about the issues I told about you. I saw staff rude and patronising in the swimming area with no good reason and if raise to duty manager or reception one cares. In the gym, the staff are mostly self-centred and lack warmth or help. I agree with everyone talking about the gym being very small and very busy with equipment being unusable for many weeks. For what you pay I agree with everyone that the gym you cannot get membership by itself and that it's so busy. The staff don't care if someone is hogging A machine for an unsurmountable amount of time and doesn't want to share & they don't intervene they don't care. Even the management I've raised the issue & they just don't care. I don't know why they have the system that you have to swipe to get into the gym because most people just tailgate to go into the gym anyway. The duty manager doesn't care when you raise it to them. I've even had people tell gate me when I'm going into the place with the barrier doors. I also agree with the comments that the quality of the cleansing of the showers in the swimming area & the men's gym is more than to be desired. The shower walls are greasy full of Mac that you spray onto yourself when you're having a shower & the smell can be so detestable. Anytime you raise any issue to reception they seem to be aloof and cold and distant & don't seem to care let alone have very poor listening skills. Yes, the car park is free & it's a large car park and it's always been like that for decades. It seems that people enjoy the classes but some people are moaning about the late fee or not turning up. Some places often will have such a policy hence why I avoid classes to avoid such fines. It deters me to go in case I'm held up in traffic or at work. How many times I have emailed the ones given by the management to reply to the comments below in the past 12 months and often they do not bother to reply? The location is convenient as it's not far from where I live to walk and has a pool. But I agree with the below comments can get very cramped where they book up to 8 people per lane. Any more than 3 it's too crowded and get one Alpha biological appearing male cad who will be antisocial & if you report to staff or management they don't care to get more details just want you to go away. From the very first week of a 12-month membership, I had mixed feelings & over time it has happened repeatedly. I get so anxious after some situation or incident that I have to build up courage and truss is not normal. You go to relax and enjoy & be respected. I haven't been now for 3 weeks. I tried to get it yesterday but felt disheartened if I'll enjoy going or not. I don't understand why the kickboxing bag in the gym has disappeared but at least now there are 3 rowing machines not just one. They used to have 6-8 in the old gym. I won't be renewing my annual membership & join a pure gy

Negative experience: I have been going to the gym for 8 months now and every time I see a broken machine I realize how long it takes to fix it. The hip adduction machine has been broken for over 2 months. The Smith machine is also broken. It takes an inordinate amount of time to fix the machines. The gym has a large number of customers and yet the machines are not fixed quickly. The frequency with which the machines are checked needs to be assessed and repairs should be made as soon as possible. I think there also needs to be a serious overhaul of a lot of the equipment as the main issue is they fix old, faulty equipment, just for them to break again in a couple of weeks.

We're pleased to announce we're refurbishing our gym at Egham Orbit with all new equipment in October, including all new cardio and resistance machines, as well as a new service agreement to repair any broken equipment within 48 hours. In the meantime, we're striving to repair any equipment that is out of order with our contractors.
Positive experience: Decent enough facilities when they're open. Steam room and sauna doesn't open until 10.30am on weekdays which is ridiculous if you use the gym or swim in the morning and it shuts an hour and a half before the building closes. Plus you get kicked out of the gym 30mins before the building closes Monday to Friday. I've never experienced this before in the dozens of gyms and leisure centres I've been a member of before and I can see the opening hours have been mentioned in other reviews, so this clearly needs to be addressed. Some gym machines also stay broken for weeks or even months on end. If these key things were bettered EO would be great but unfortunately they make being a member extremely frustrating as it seems the timings are convenient for staff not for members

Fantastic experience: My little girl and I have absolutely LOVED swimming at the centre. Our teacher on Mondays is amazing and very caring of the little ones! She explains everything so well and why we are doing certain activities. Baby motors skills have come on so well since starting! Changing rooms are brilliant, lots of space for baby and family changing. I can't fault anything at the centre.

Fantastic experience: I took out a Swim only membership in January, and decided to give Aquafit a go. With thanks to Kate in Membership, i upgraded to include classes. Kate, saved me money and introduced me to new classes, I even go to the gym!!! From being Swimming addicted, and recovering from a very painful knee injury and Osteoarthritis, I am now loving Aerobics, Power Hoop, Aquafit and now Pilates! Tonight I try Body Combat for the first time, and I'm booked in for Body Balance this week also! To say I'm loving it is an understatement. I can't thank Kate enough! Had I not talked over my membership, had a little tear, and a hug, because I couldn't believe the effect on my knees, and the positive effect on my mind, I probably wouldn't have tried all the classes. And I really do love it! To sum it up, great staff and lot's of classes to choose from, in a great environment

Negative experience: Major Concerns About Egham Orbit's Facilities and Hygiene Standards Having been a member of Egham Orbit in Surrey for several years, I am compelled to address not only the limited size of the gym floor but also the concerning state of cleanliness and hygiene, particularly within the changing rooms and toilet facilities. The gym floor's exceedingly small size significantly impacts the quality of the workout experience due to overcrowding and limited equipment availability. This issue is further exacerbated by the unacceptable condition of the changing rooms and toilets. The changing rooms are frequently unclean and fail to meet basic hygiene standards. The smell within these areas is often atrocious, creating an unwelcoming and unpleasant environment for members. Moreover, the toilets are consistently problematic, with 60 to 70% of them out of order at any given time. This not only inconveniences members but also raises serious concerns about the gym's maintenance and attention to member comfort and health standards. While staff members like Helen and Lewis make commendable efforts to provide a welcoming atmosphere, their hard work is overshadowed by these significant and persistent issues. Negative experience: The worst gym I have been a member off. Staff are rude to coloured people, only time they’re nice to coloured people is when they are about to make money from them. The gym has ridiculous rules surrounding workout classes and they charge for a missed class which is weird bc I know a previous member who of the gym who still had access to book classes so clearly they’re not concerned about attendance, just a moment making scam. They enforce a £15 charge plus £9 for guests to attend a class saying £15 is to go through health and safety and £9 for the class, but as a member the gym have not made me go through health and safety so that’s another money making scam. Avoid joining as they force you to stay for three month although I sign up to a monthly contract. Their facilities are always out of use such as swimming pool and they have about 3 showers which are shabby and old. They charge you for a membership card or you can use app to login but you don’t get phone reception inside so you are forced to sign up to their WiFi. I can’t wait until my contract is over so I can leave!

We are proud to have a diverse group of customers and staff, no matter your social or ethnic background, we are a place for everyone. We, like many leisure facilities, have a no-show charge to mitigate those who simply book and don’t turn up for their classes, the cancellation policy and rules are shown to you every time you book on our app. The health and safety you’re referring to is an induction to the gym, and a chance to ask our trainers any queries you may have, it also includes a personalised fitness programme. This is included in our memberships but guests who wish to use our other facilities pay per use and activity. The Wi-Fi is also available to all customers that are unable to use their mobile data, there is no charge for the Wi-Fi. All our monthly direct debit memberships have a minimum three-month contract, which is shown to you on our terms and conditions whether you join online or in person. Fantastic experience: Tonay in the gym designed a strength training programme for me in August 2023. After making significant progress he updated this for me last week. Tonay always takes an interest in how my workouts and progress are going and is always approachable and proactive in helping me get the best out of my training. Fantastic experience: Not just the gym the staff at Egham Orbit is amazing. I was in touch with Sally with regards to signing up my brother for gym and she was a star. She made the process smooth, explained everything simply and filled the forms offered the best options and services she possibly could. Additionally, she was very calm throughout the process. Just with emails all was set. I definitely recommend and a big applaud to Sally for her outstanding demeanour.

Fantastic experience: I frequently use the studio classes, body combat, body pump and body tone. The instructors are fantastic, especially Leanne, Jo-Anne and Jenna. Would definitely recommend these classes as the instructors make it more fun. Keep up the good work.

Negative experience: No gym only option, you must combine with swim which makes it particularly expensive. Maybe this helps keep it less busy but at peak times you will regularly wait for equipment. To make matters slightly worse children are allowed in the gym and I have had to wait behind groups of them during non-school hours. Appreciate its a community gym, though maybe providing dedicated times for <16 of age would help. There is a class on Mondays that takes 90% of the free floor space and adjacent studio during peak hours of the gym, so no room for stretching. Hours not always amenable particularly if you need to arrive just before 6. Weekends aren't as good as many other gyms offer and bank holidays are usually awful. Broken rowing machine and it was never replaced even post 6 months. Lost ab wheel roller, its a £15 at most peice of kit. It was not replaced after months so I brought my own in. Broken air assault bike also never replaced. After being a member for a little over 2 year I was unable to cancel my membership prior to the direct debit payment on the 2nd of the month. I was forced to pay for another month. I was told being a customer 2+ years or 2 weeks makes no difference by the membership sales manager. Managers have no discretion and there is no customer loyalty. I was told it is not a budget gym hence 2 weeks minimum notice is required though there has been 2 seperate broken cable machines going on 4+ weeks. I have witnessed budget gyms fix equipment much faster. There has been a lot of staff changeover in my time here, so much so the staff board is very outdated. My 2 star is for the above reaaons.

Inconvenient Opening Hours: For those with standard working hours, utilizing this facility is challenging. The opening hours are increasingly restrictive, particularly on weekends and bank holidays, often resulting in complete closures or reduced availability. Limited Access: Even during regular hours, access to amenities like the swimming pool is severely limited due to scheduled classes, leaving little room for casual use. The same applies to the spa and gym areas, which are often inaccessible due to events or classes, restricting access to various parts of the facility. This establishment, unfortunately, offers a service that is only sporadically usable, compounded by an unwelcoming attitude and outdated or malfunctioning equipment. It's regrettable that a place with such potential is poorly managed. I earnestly hope for a change in management that prioritizes proper staff training, offers fair compensation, and recognizes the paramount importance of customer satisfaction. During my tenure as a member, I've witnessed numerous long-standing patrons depart due to these persisting issues. It seems that only those without alternatives remain, suggesting a concerning trend in member retention.

Fantastic experience: Enrolled my son into Achieve Lifestyle Egham Orbit after seeing one of their personal trainers on instagram… I’m very selective on who I let teach my kids but even by the social media content, I could tell they had a special PT at their gym. I messaged Tonay via Instagram and gave him a brief run-down of the situation I was in with my son… Just like his social media content, he was great with communication and very informative. He invited us to the gym for a chat and we immediately block booked PT sessions. 8 weeks later Tonay has taken a complete gym and boxing beginner, to a flourishing confident, strong and ever improving boxing training fanatic. Their relationship is brilliant and my son looks forward to his PT sessions every week. Tonay is a huge asset to Achieve Lifestyle and a huge asset to my son’s growth and confidence. Negative experience: Can't review the swimming pool and the gym, but people working in the cafe and managing the soft play are just so hostile... They advertise online that each softplay session starts 30 minutes past the hour. I got there at 14.10. Waited 5 minutes for someone to come to the counter, as they'd all been hiding at the back, paid for an hour play just for them to tell me the session started at 2pm (false advertising), so we had only 45 minutes left and we were not allowed to stay past 3 to do our full hour, which we were paying for, just because, no reason given :/ I mean this could be totally acceptable and understandable if what you're advertising online was correct and if you were fully booked for the following session. But there were not any other children there! Why not let those who were there play on if the place is empty anyway?! If anything, you'd have earned an extra few quid, as we would have bought another coffee and something sweet. That's totally unreasonable and actually quite rude. Maybe this is why the place is so empty

Positive experience: I love the facilities here the gym is in good form The spa is a good luxury And the swimming pool i decent too And brilliant activities for kids too However a couple of things I have found relatively disappointing is I pay £100 a month to use the gym spa and swimming pool When i signed up I asked with this price does this allow me to use these areas when i please within the opening hours i was told yes However I have on a few occasions been refused access to the swimming pool due to kids swimming lessons which is disappointing its a big pool there should be at least a couple of lanes left available for the members Also i took my kids to the soft play in there i thought as a treat id take them into the pool too I was about to buy them both a swimming costume each and pay for them to be able to come in the pool with me until i was told id have to pay for my entry too i told the lady at the reception that I am a member but i was told id still have to pay for my own entry I pay £100 a month to use the pool why should i be expected to pay extra for myself just because I wanted to take my kids in This in my view is unacceptable

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had a bad experience recently where I had booked a relaxation package at the Otium Spa - use of spa facilities and a facial. The facial treatment was booked 2pm, after using the spa facilities I was left waiting until 2:25pm to be told the beautician was no longer available and they could not find her. Further, I was informed that the manager would call me to follow up - nobody has. I won't be looking to return to EO again, this was a poor experience and did not feel there was much customer service/concern.

Fantastic experience: Myself and My friend take our little ones to the soft play regularly. It is clean, tidy and great for toddlers it is the perfect size. Negative experience: It’s for kids. An amazing facility for them. As an adult it was really weird. The pool is entirely surrounded by people in clothes. There is no specific viewing area which is THE most ludicrous design decision I’ve ever come across. The lanes are also over booked there were 6 people in the lane I’d booked for one hour. I immediately left.

Fantastic experience: Great leisure centre
Negative experience: Otium Spa is absolutely disgusting to visit. You come to a spa with expectations to get relaxation and tranquility, but instead you get dirty pool, unclean changing rooms, it smells wet and damp and like it has never been cleaned. You find rubbish on the floor, there are big pieces of dust in the pool and also the drinking water tap is out of service for months now. The fact that it’s not clean was reported by me to the reception staff & management for a couple of times and they smile and promise it will get cleaned, but the dust in the pool still stays there for weeks. When initially you have a tour around the place before buying a membership, they don’t show this, so if you are thinking about getting into this I wouldn’t bother. Also it’s not monitored by staff at all, as people smoke vapes inside the relaxation area, watch news outloud on their phone INSIDE the sauna, use in appropriate cursing language and eat leaving all the rubbish around.

Negative experience: Disappointed since the refurbishment. The pool is a good addition. However the gym upstairs seems more cramped. Alot of people seem to need more weight space. The reception staff are rude and not knowledgeable of the services they offer. No longer have a creche for kids which is a big loss for a lot of women in the area. The soft play is disappointing compared to what it used to be. Never seems to be cleaned either. All just a bit of a let down for what they want you to pay to join.

Negative experience: Im shocked at the lack of cleanliness. This is thought to be a “premium” gym the equipment is old its from another gym or another place it is rusty. The gym is not clean at all i have been going to pure gym for 9 years and i have never gotten dirty from their floors even never mind the equipment .i walked out with stains on my gym-wear honestly i don't know how this gym even runs. Staff are nice though

Negative experience: Avoid if having you're wanting a party here. Used soft play for my sons birthday and the customer service was horrendous. Drink jug were given out to young children with old dried food floating in it. I returned it with no apology, nothing. I have since been in dispute regarding a room rental which they just don't reply to emails. Avoid avoid avoid.

Negative experience: Gym is small, everything in there looks old, some of the equipment is out off service. They don't have anything more that PureGym in Staines but they ask much more. The opening hours online are wrong. You would expect something better from new build and expensive gym.

Fantastic experience: Archive lifestyle, Egham orbit they have gym, spa, swimming, and yoga, and it’s all subscription based and they do have carpark on site. Subscription prices yes they are a bit expensive but worth it! Friendly staff there to assist and do book an appointment to check out their venue and see what they got to offer!

Negative experience: Dreadful reception staff service. We arrived early for a swim session and they advised us to sit and wait nearby which we did. Nearing entry time same receptionist told us that pool was now fully booked as people had been booking while we were there. When we asked her why she had not let us know or God forbid, sold us a ticket initially to avoid this , she became defensive insisting it wasn't her fault. I wonder what her job is. Appalling unprofessional unhelpful service. Will not visit again if I can help it. my family very disappointed. Incidentky, my sister has had numerous encounters with this terrible receptionist. Really not sure how she retains her job....management, I would keep a close eye, this person is a dreadful representative of your service

Negative experience: The swim classes themselves are great, 4 stars, but the swim admin are incredibly slow and difficult if a swim class is cancelled. They advise of a due refund immediately but sadly think 21 days to process it is acceptable and calls are just deflected to the website, so other Achieve Lifestyle staff, 5 stars, have often helped me pursue a refund.

Fantastic experience: Great place! Nice gym with lots of choice of machines. The classes are great too. I recommend adding the spa option to a membership. It’s definitely worth a look around it but adds a touch of luxury and all round wellbeing. I’ve tried many gyms in the area, but always came back to this one. It is in my opinion the best.

Positive experience: Friendly front of house staff and very friendly lifeguards. I gave 4 stars as I think the outside should be landscaped to a better standard.
Negative experience: Whenever I try to book or enquire they never answer the phone. Wanted to book a 5 a side pitch but have given up and gone elsewhere.
Negative experience: Although quite a modern leisure centre, it's has a couple of really annoying issues, rubbish gym opening times (930pm was 10 pm but hey ho, on a weekday 430pm ish on a weekend) charging you if you have missed a class even though it is not full, limited access to the pool, no general swim for kids during the week, overall I feel that management just want to take your money and a little by little reduce the services they offer you. I feel I will probably end up going to another gym
Positive experience: Nothing great, use it because it's close to home Some memberships include classes but if you're late or don't make it to the class you're charged £5 - never known another gym to do this Free weights are ok but only three benches, better off at The Gym or Pure Gym

Fantastic experience: Joined as a full time member last week. The gym is well equipped, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool, and changing facilities are great. The Gym instructors were very friendly and welcoming. Overall nice experience.
Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS GYM Unless you like bad customer service and out of service machines. They do not care if you have come to the gym but are very happy to take your money. My membership was suspended due to covid then the gym reopened but I was never notified only sent an email which was in my junk folder. The gym itself is in bad condition, always a machine out of order and the staff are very rude and unhelpful. Even after paying over 6 months for not using the gym I requested to cancel but was told to do it in writing.
Negative experience: Far too expensive for what it is. You'd expect David Lloyd/Virgin Active quality. No student concessions except summer.
Negative experience: Hugely dissapointing, nice enough pool, but the lanes are crammed far too close together, and when you end up getting cruella de'vile joining you in the lane taking up about 90% of it, more room required, felt very uncomfortable, won't be returning, waste of money, if you're planning o going, do so with caution. Also any chance you could tidy up the outside a bit, looks a bit like a military training camp, poor all-round too be honest.

We are Asian family residents in Egham, Today I walked my kids for a swim afterschool at 3:20 ish, took us half an hour to get there and we were all sweaty allover, the reception woman was so rude and impatient, shouting at us 'booking only' , 'members only' and 'no children under 8', and I asked for proof of that, she couldn't provide any but ask us to leave, first time there and children were all shocked by the attitude of that receptionist... and felt very sad and disappointed, strongly suggest don't go... No fun and totally waste of time :( ...

Negative experience: Horrible telephone serive made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable bearing in mine this person would be frount of house to the Orbit and having to aproche her when visiting is the last thing id like with the way she made me feel just though the phone... due to her lack for care for my enquierys to the point i felt she was making fun of the fact i said im not the best with online stuff. I then couldent find my purse so asked to called back.. she replyed no problem your details are saved. rung back someone else picked up acted as if she couldent hear me then hung up got back to the 1st lady and she risisting laughter down the phone... continue she begins it say oh its miss ..... isent it.... to the which she goes "oh i cant seem to find you now" and a long silent pause... by that point i felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome i decided to hang up my self and take my money else were... such a shame as it is a nice facility. But reception the face of the place is really letting them down i shall not be returning id rather wait and go Bracknell Moral of this review is you never know what someone deals with on a daily. I have anxiaty and this was a big step for me to take but due to there unprofessionalism, its lost you a regular customer as its on the door step but id rather travel further out and go somewere i know its always been 100% service for all kinds or people and backgrounds
Fantastic experience: Very spacious gym with efficient covid measures in place. Lovely facility, welcoming staff and lots of parking. Would highly recommend.
Positive experience: The space in it self it’s marvellous. Great parking facilities and always very clean and safe. But the the management should be more serious... from my experience they didn’t shown to be very serious. But dispute my experience I recommend.
