Negative experience: They commit fraud. Wish I could give 0 stars. Signed up for the on demand membership and decided barre wasn’t for me and cancelled my subscription (mind you early 2024 and even that time they tried scamming me by attempting a charge) come today 6/1/2025 they randomly decided to attempt a charge??? Luckily I hadn’t topped up my card so it didn’t go through and immediately contacted the company for support to which they confirmed my membership was cancelled. Then today, 7/1/2025 they decide to attempt to charge me again- except this time it goes through. So yeah they quite literally stole my money. I’ve tried removing my bank details online but of course there is no option for that nor is there an option to cancel a subscription but then again, I didn’t have one anymore to begin with. Read recent reviews and apparently it’s not an uncommon thing for them to be stealing money and committing fraud. Definitely getting in touch with a lawyer.
Positive experience: Katsie was really helpful and encouraged me to visit and try out the classes. Shes friendly and gave me a very professional orientation. Grace is the best instructor! shes friendly and focuses on every client with passion and smiles!
Fantastic experience: Love BarreCore Chelsea! Staff and instructors are super helpful and I go religiously 2 to 3x / week. My favourite instructores are Holly (Thursdays AM) and Grace (Wednesdays AM). Since I started doing Barre I have felt and become fitter than ever. I have hip & knee joint problems and keeping this fit has been a blessing. Now when I ski my legs no longer hurt!

The front desk staff, including Amelia, Elli, Caity, Sophie, Tamara, and Mayowa, always greet me with genuine warmth and are exceptionally efficient in managing my needs and any concerns. Their proactiveness and solution-oriented approach make the experience seamless, even on the busiest of days. The instructors, on the other hand, are the heart and soul of Barrecore. Grace, Sophie, Hayley, Ciara, Catherine, Johnny, Harriet, Phoebe, Holly, Flo, Georgina, and even the occasional subs like Mani bring their A-game every single session. Their mastery over techniques is commendable, ensuring that every participant, whether a beginner or seasoned, gets the most out of the class. Their infectious energy and enthusiasm permeate the room, creating an environment that is both invigorating and calming. Each of them is genuinely invested in the well-being and progress of their students, constantly motivating and guiding us, ensuring that we achieve our fitness goals while prioritizing our health. What sets Barrecore Chelsea apart is the perfect synergy between the front desk staff and the instructors. They operate like a well-oiled machine, creating an atmosphere that is inviting, supportive, and professional. It's evident that they all genuinely love what they do and this passion translates into an unparalleled experience for us participants. In conclusion, if you're looking for a place that offers top-notch barre classes combined with impeccable service, Barrecore Chelsea is the place to be. Negative experience: Unfortunately my score is very low. I booked 2 sessions with classpass and they have been both been cancelled the first time I have received an email on time to avoid the commuting.. the second time I have received the cancellation just 30 min prior the session meaning that I was on the way to get there.... So I will avoid the Chelsea brunch for sure I am afraid...

Negative experience: My cash and credit card details were stolen at this place and it’s been more than two weeks and nothing has happened. I have reported it to the police. But both my friend and I who’s physical card was also stolen are still waiting. The management refused to help us even though there is cctv on site and by law they have to tell us if the theft has happened or not so it just makes them look guilty. Don’t go here.

Negative experience: I attended Barrecore last week and due to an incident where my credit card details were compromised at the gym and cash stole i had to deal with the management. They are not helpful at all, their staff are not trustworthy do not go here at all!!! I have reported this case to the police and both my friend and I are suspicious of the receptionist who stole our credit cards and went shopping... so sad!

Negative experience: Horrendous experience in Chelsea this morning. Catherine Hutchinson was rude and unprofessional.
Negative experience: Terrible cancellation policy - if you feel ill in the morning and have already booked an evening class more than 12hrs away, you will get charged. How is that realistic for people waking up at a reasonable time (like 8am) who may have booked an evening class (their latest is 7:30 pm) to not get charged if they feel ill in the morning? Honestly this company only cares about money and will tell people to come in even in full knowledge that they may be contagious to others and ruin their experience.

Positive experience: Fantastic class if you are targeting to work those deep muscles through! However, NOT recommended if any previous legs/feet/plantar fasciitis/sciatica issues. Terrible cramping for 20mins after may follow like you haven't had in a few years Sophie is an amazing teacher though and can't recommend highly enough! One star off as staff and atmosphere in the studio is a bit too uptight vs my regular super friendly 1rebel and hotpod yoga studio, but maybe it's just their Chelsea location with too many 25+ cool for school wannabes ;)
Negative experience: I am having a terrible experience with this so-called gym. I am not happy about them and i have just had a terrible experience with the front desk girl named Katie, literally smirking at my face. I came 8 min after 11.30 which is my fault but they did not let me in which i find really not fair as far as people pay the money and i have not had this disservice in any other gym i have been before. I do not live near the location so it may happen that for transport reasons any delay can happen but the front desk girl was really rude, having a really satisfying face cause the things went her way. Anyway, this made me really angry and upset but obviously it will reflect on the future decision to follow barrecore as my training gym.

As stated on our website and booking confirmation we have a strictly no late entry policy to class. This is to ensure all clients complete the warm-up and that there are minimal disruptions for the teacher and other clients in the studio. We suggest always arriving at least 5 minutes before class to ensure you have time to check-in, put your belongings away and get set up in the studio. Negative experience: They put the airconditioning incredibly high. Everytime i go, im freezing in class and i then have a sore throat the next day. Its incredibly bad for muscles that have been warmed up as well.

Fantastic experience: Love this place! There must be new management because the previous reviews couldn't be further from the truth. Lovely staff who are attentive and the classes are killer (in the best way). Bringing my friends next time!
Fantastic experience: I had a great first experience at Barrecore in Chelsea - the reception staff were really friendly and welcoming. The instructor was really great and you definitely feel the burn! Natalie pays attention to everyone's form and corrects you if you're doing it wrong. I'd recommend for all experience levels.
Negative experience: Overpriced studio with mediocre barre classes, and incredibly rude and arrogant front desk staff. Classes tailored for those over 50 or pregnant, not for those fit and in their 20's and 30's. No actual locker rooms, only 1 or 2 showers, and STRICT policy. I arrived 9 minutes late for a class and wasn't allowed in. Save your money.
Fantastic experience: Best barre studio in London! I do barre religiously in Miami and was so happy to discover an equivalent place in London - finally! The classes are an amazing workout, the studios are really cute and the staff is extremely sweet. PS they require socks! :)
