Positive experience: Nice local pool, wish it was open during the day though ..

Positive experience: Clean changing rooms but very few of the mens lockers worked and still only take old 1 pound coins. A shame to see facilities like this have limited investment.

Negative experience: They can't even notify you if they're available for the bank holidays or not. Bad service

Negative experience: Sub-par. I have been a member of this gym on and off for two years when I’ve been at home from uni and I must say that there are major improvements that could be made in comparison to other and frankly better gyms I have used at university. The changing rooms smell disgusting and look extremely tired (especially the toilets, which I try to avoid). One thing that is incredibly frustrating is in relation to the refurbishment of the gym. There used to be around 6-8 treadmills and now there are only 4. There is one treadmill that has been out of order for the last two months, so realistically there are only 3 working treadmills. This is very irritating as usually they are not free and you have to wait. Honestly, if I was in a position to change gym, I 100% would and I think drastic improvements are in order. Other gyms usually have a page where you can see how busy the gym is and I think this would be really useful. Please increase the number of treadmills!!!!

Fantastic experience: Awesome staff and instructors, our son really enjoys his swimming lessons here!

Negative experience: Filthy This gym is filthy. I have emailed staff and completed customer satisfaction surveys with the feedback and never receive a response. The floor is covered in dust, dirt, hair. The equipment leaves your hands filthy as well. Not asking for much just a clean every now and again - especially considering they have recently increased membership costs. There’s also no mirrors which is odd for a gym. The bar is on the floor. Come on guys!!

Positive experience: Became a member for the pool. Loved that it was quiet, dated but seemed clean, the worst part is the showers! They hardly ever work and when they do its a trickle. Cancelled my membership as the showers were out of order for a month.

Negative experience: Dirty, floor uneven by weights area, changing rooms never cleaned, only half of TV screens work

Positive experience: The gym changing room toilets are perpetually out of order and smell a bit bad, the water dispenser was out of order for a week. There's plenty of equipment and space in the gym and it never seems too busy. The highlight is the staff. They're the most helpful and friendly staff I've come accross anywhere. Absolutely fantastic.

Fantastic experience: The cheapest Gym in Ware by far, the £20 monthly charge at the moment is amazing value (Normally £26pm) this includes swim and gym, if I use it once a week its still cheaper than pay as you go. Swimming is available some nights and all weekend but gym available every day, its not the most up to date and doesn't have much equipment but has everything I need. The Active app is also great with loads of online work out classes.

Negative experience: Unable to gain entry to gym as card wasn’t working and staff seemed to be in hiding, knocked on staff doors and rang the desk and still no response...I’ll stick to grange paddocks

Positive experience: Friendly helpful staff, but found issue with the gym in that there was regularly a machine or two out of order and not quick getting back into service either. I didn't use the pool but am told that it is not always available as the school has first dibs on it during the week and it could sit unused all day. Parking is plentiful. Not a bad gym all in all.

Fantastic experience: My favourite pool in the area. Not too busy , warm water and pleasant staff. The Changing rooms could do with modernising but meh, they're changing rooms and do the job.

Positive experience: I like going there, it’s not too crowded and there is a family atmosphere. It’s supervised by a lovely staff who makes you comfortable. However the pool, especially the changing rooms, are quite old and the car park is in a desperate state of disrepair.

Fantastic experience: Support your local pool, or it will disappear! OK, changing rooms a fraction spartan (don't expect a power shower at the end), but a 25m length pool that's not too crowded, open at 6.30am,with friendly staff, what's not to like? Has a gym, don't know anything of that, but use it or lose it!!!!!!

Positive experience: It's our local pool & hopefully it won't be shut,but money needs spending on it.My Daughter who's 9 doesn't want to go in the male changing rooms with Daddy so some 'unisex' changing rooms would be great!

Positive experience: Swimming pool and gym facilities. Used the pool, the spectators area very humid and uncomfortable seats. Changing rooms a little outdated but usable. Used for swimming lessons for a few years, it's local to us. Parking ok most nights, unless chauncy have parents evening, then it's rammed.

Negative experience: Literally the worst swimming pool I have ever been to... Dirty, dated with inattentive staff takes you straight back to the 80's.. don't go there unless you desperate..

Negative experience: It's nice enough. Needs a refurb and showers definitely need fixing. Staff are a little slow at reception but they are all friendly.

Positive experience: Great little pool. Clean and friendly.

Positive experience: Nice Staff - but small pool with and enclosed roof that made us feel like we we're huffing chlorine. Good for short stays say 30-45mins. Might get high if you stay longer.

Positive experience: Gym ok but could be supervised better, my first visit attendant was more interested in watching the footie and no one on site to explain equipment, 2nd visit no different but visited 7am and attendant showed up 1 hour later. Changing rooms are a bit dated and one loo was flooded. Reception service good though. Pool times vary according to term times, has dedicated lanes for those who wish to use them. Catering is vending only as no catering facilities on site.

Negative experience: Often quiet, can be dirty and poor showers

Positive experience: There is a gym here too, not into swimming so it helps there is something else to do here.
