Fantastic experience: The staff at this gym are so kind and respectful. I have been looking for a ladies only gym for a while and had been really disappointed by the other gyms in Birmingham. I tried this gym out and I am so pleased! The ladies facilities are great, there are so many machines to use, the locker rooms are huge. More than anything though, the staff and gym members are so supportive. Only thing I'm hoping that they introduce soon is ladies only classes! Definitely recommend :)

Positive experience: I came here few times in the evening and some yobs were having a knees up in the car park, that aside didn't enjoy using the gym as it wasn't clean upstairs in the workout area .Some Lockers were mashed up and the mens lavatory was not in good condition.

Negative experience: Ordered taxi 7 minutes online 20 minutes later still waiting for a taxi to be dispatched watching on tracking no where near why lie ?

Fantastic experience: Been coming to this gym for a few weeks now, it’s a very cool gym it’s got lots of weights, cardio machines and other equipment. Got everything you need and the music is a very cool vibe too.

Negative experience: Came for the first time a few weeks ago and the women’s part absolutely stunk of BO I couldn’t even work out because the smell was so bad and in the end went into the main section also after this I received a fine from the gym for parking lmao awful they cancelled it after I wrote them a very rude email but not worth it

Fantastic experience: Joined here for the ladies only section & I really like it. I don’t go at busy times so it’s never been busy & everything is clean. So happy to have found a ladies only space. The staff have been so friendly to.

Negative experience: Absolutely no aircon? Zero air movement.. And they don't care! A gym without aircon?

Negative experience: Been going here for over 10 years now, and my wife about 8. Unfortunately I agree with the majority of negative reviews, except about Alic. I've never found him rude or observed him being rude. He's a plain talking guy who doesn't take any nonsense and that's probably why the entitled people in these reviews who think he's supposed to fawn over them don't like him. he can't make the owners spend money to improve the gym. Although recently, for some bizarre reason, they decided to put in pink coloured lights!!! Why? Part of it now looks like a seedy adult shop. Should have spent the money fixing the broken equipment. My wife has been moaning about the women's toilets for the last 2 years, blocked, broken etc. Takes ages to fix them, again, not Alics fault that the owners won't put their hands in their pockets. When machines break, again, it takes ages to fix them. Oh, and theres only 2 pairs of handles for all the pulley machines upstairs because they won't replace the ones that have been pinched by a certain section of members/visitors. And therein lies a major problem. It's cheap, so attracts people who don't understand how to treat property that's not theirs with respect. Breaking lockers, messing about on machines and breaking them, shaving in the men's toilets and leaving their bristles all over the sinks-vile. People thinking it's ok to defecate in the showers, yes, seriously. One of the last times I went, there was a guy drying his meat and 2 veg under the hand dryer! Don't get me wrong, this is only a minority of people, most people there are great, but it only takes a few to bring the place down. I've now joined another gym and will be saying farewell to Alic shortly. If he reads this and hasn't already figured out who I am, I'll bring a jar of the good stuff as a leaving gift. Alic and Chris do their best, but when the owners spend money on pretty lights and not on what's needed, it's like sprinkling glitter on something that has exited a dog's behind. Looks sparkly, but underneath all that glitter.... well, I'm sure you get the point.

Negative experience: This gym is an absolute disaster zone. Everything's falling apart – broken machines, seats held together with tape, and cables that never seem to work right. It's not just inconvenient; it's dangerous. And good luck trying to talk to the staff about it – they're as rude as they come. The sauna? It's either out of order or stinks like something died in there. The mirrors – they're all smashed up. Seriously, do yourself a favor and find another gym. This place isn't just bad, it's a health hazard waiting to happen. It is cheap for a reason, stay away from this awful gym and save your money. And also, the ceiling is on it way down. 1 star is me being generous. STAY AWAY

Negative experience: Only come here if you want to get verbally abused by other gym members. I was racially attacked and threatened at this club by two other members. When reporting it to the staff they did not want to listen to my side and did not take me seriously. I am very disappointed with how the situation was handled. Staff easily dismissed me and were rude and defensive.

Positive experience: Amazing designated space for ladies! It's worth going to

Negative experience: Used to go this gym many years ago for years… it was good back then! Been back a few times since, gym falling apart, steam and sauna never ever in use! Showers are pathetic… whole place run down and no care but wanna take peoples money lol… all the tvs gone, gaps in ceiling ceiling half falling down?! Crap! Used to be 10/10. I’m now looking for a new gym and iv advised others not to waste their money on a gym that has no consideration for paying customers not getting what they paid for… why are you promoting the gym I still get emails??? Needs closing down!

Positive experience: First time visiting today. I am a member at the Cannock branch but I wanted to try out the Birmingham branch and was quite satisfied with it. Lots of parking available. Alec helped me get my fingerprint sorted when I arrived and showed me around. All in all, a good experience. Plenty of free weights and cardio machines. I didn’t use the studios or the boxing equipment but it’s good to know it’s there. My only criticism would be the showers. There is a weird smell once you enter the shower area and the shower I used was defective. You had to hold the button at all times or the water wouldn’t come out. Looks like they have a sauna but it’s out of order at the moment. Will probably visit again.

Positive experience: Great place with its own parking, good facilities and 24 hours access anytime of the week Does get crowded after work times or after school hours but that's to be expected, can still get machines or place Worth it for a good price however, be warned, if you do a monthly sign up for the first time, you are contractually obligated to pay monthly for the next 12 months before you can cancel anytime

Positive experience: Been going to this gym for years. At the start was amazing. Now just a washed up gym. Sauna steam ain’t been working since Covid. (Stop trying to save money, open it) Most the equipment just old and broken. Mold and leaking from the sealing. Just because u paint it in dark colours doesn’t mean u can’t see it. If something broken they just seem to tape it rather than fixing it. Use to love this gym. Honestly has huge potential if some money gets spent here. This is my last month after 4 years here.

Negative experience: old broken down lockers, men who just sit around naked in the changing rooms (gross), many of the barbells aren’t marked - so you don’t know how much they weigh, people who complain if you film yourself to check your form. No bumper plates for deadlifting. Blocked and broken sinks in men’s changing room. They don’t provide cleaning spray and tissues - so you can’t wipe anything down before or after use. Enjoy the sweat covered benches Avoid.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym

Negative experience: The gym is filthy and the not so friendly manager isn’t one to fix the issue ! The equipment is worn away and the state of the flooring anyone could trip and fall the showers are filthy and constantly smell like wet damp believe me avoid this gym !

Negative experience: Disgusting and mouldy showers in the men's room definitely hasn't had a deep clean in years. Stinks really bad due to no AC, Only one water machine working. It's a shame really because this gym would be good if they decided to actually clean the place. Even the car park is dirty and hasn't been cleaned in a while. Looks like complaints don't work with this gym as they don't do anything to fix it. CLEAN YOUR SHOWERS!! MOULD AND DAMP IS A HAZARD!!

Positive experience: A lovely gym. The ladies only section is really hot sometimes though, not sure if Aircon is broken.

Negative experience: How do I begin? First and foremost the manager is really rude, doesn’t know how to speak with you and if you ask any questions regarding the gym he will just be rude so good luck asking questions. Second, gym has no business with taking payments or any cancellations whatsoever that we al would have preferred and they could have made it easier but you apparently have to deal with DFC, today I finally paid my bill and when called them to check, well guess what? i had to pay another amount because you apparently only got 10 days and it can be quite hard to talk to them. The gym itself is dirty, and women section looks like a secondary school full of people! There’s hair and sweat everywhere and its never clean. (I used to bring in my towels and bags but me and my partner we were told that we can’t) so basically you have no options. I would say if they had a different manager who actually could manage it would have been different! Trust ME! YOU CAN FIND BETTER!

Negative experience: Me and my friends would go to this gym everyday if they added a hip thrust machine in the women’s section it would be perfect for us since the smith machine doesn’t go low enough.

Negative experience: This gym is very outdated, hasn’t had a deep clean in what looks like years. It’s very dirty, I left a wrapper once in the holder on the treadmill to see if it would be picked up, I went back 2 weeks later it was still there. After that I cancelled my membership, I felt physically sick after that thinking how dirty the equipment must be. Machines are old and run down, sad because it has a lot of potential.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym wouldn’t go anywhere else everyone’s amazing especially Alex always extremely helpful.

Negative experience: Membership cancelled after months of seeing that nothing is being done to try maintain any sort of standard. I understand businesses lost a lot of money during covid BUT its not expensive to mop your floors and clean your mirrors? Owners and staff clearly take no pride in the place at all. Add to that the hair buildup in the corners of the women’s area, many torn seats and out of service machines. Women’s toilets (both in the ladies area and the main one) are almost always disgusting, out of order and have no ventilation. Seen reports on community group’s recently that cars have been broken into while parked there and the cameras weren’t even on. There’s a big difference between saving costs and being cheap. They’ll keep losing customers because of these issues I’m afraid.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very helpful. The equipment is really complete. I love it here.

Negative experience: I have been to gym wanted to joining the gym unfortunately there was one black guy he was working at the reception desk he was very rude very racist person doesn't know how to talk with the customer he got a big loud mouth، me and my son Decided not to join the gym, coz of that person I will never go there again.

Negative experience: No hot water. Dirty gym equipment. No sauna. Boxing bags are battered

Positive experience: I’ve had a good gym experience in terms of not being pestered by men here & the staff have been lovely! However, the whole place needs a revamp! A lot of equipment needs replacing, air con system needs replacing and the women’s section needs more work and cleaning. There’s cheaper gyms out there with which are in much better condition which is a shame because this place just needs more investment.

Fantastic experience: A regular here, the womens section is pretty decent judging from the other ones in Birmingham. It does the job really. Only downfall would be if the machines were topped up, the leg extension machine has cracks on them so it’s not very comfortable. It would’ve been nice if the ladies section was bigger in comparison to the mixed section. The tv screens are always off, before lockdown they would always be on. Changing room is very spacious and the Parking is decent. Edit: they’ve fixed the seats with brand new leather!

Negative experience: The lowest standards ever! I came there once and I cancelled my membership the same day and I still didn't get refund for this. The owner doesn't even speak to me to explain the situation. Such a lack of respect... hate complaining but this one deserves it.

Negative experience: Shocking gym. Been here a few months and one machine has been broken for th3 whole time. In this time other machines are dropping like flies to never get fixed. Putting a label on a machine saying I'm having a rest day is useless if its out for months! Especially a water tap!!! That's not a luxury, it's a necessity! What are you doing?

Negative experience: I was a member at this gym a few years ago but had to stop going to the gym for medical reasons, I re-joined about 2-3 months ago and I was shocked to say the least when i re-joined for several reasons. 1. They never emailed me my membership number, I had to stand outside until 07:45 until a staff member came in to register my finger print and even then the start time for staff was 07:00. 2. I signed up and was paying for a premium membership (yes I double checked what I was being charged and what was confirmed on my contract) yet I only had access to the standard membership. 3. The gym is so dirty, I can understand a bit of mess here and there but it was sooo bad and don't even get me started on the really strong smell of sweat and flatulence due to no air con. 4. I have emailed and used to contact us form for the gym 4 times and have never ever received a reply. 5. I don't mind and understand that they had to close the sauna and steam room facilities due to the looming energy crisis but this should be mentioned on the site! 6. I thought i'd try and just give it another chance maybe the few times I went it was just a bad week or something, I tried to then sign up through gymflex which was still linked to my company only to sign up for the gym to say that don't want to do it anymore! You're own choice but at least accept those who signed up whilst the offer was open or take the offer off asap! I would like to add that I have only used the womens only facilities at this gym! Sorry to moan so much, but this gym really was just that bad.

Negative experience: I have been a member of this gym for a year. The place has got dirtier and dirtier, the staff get ruder and ruder. Not one person is friendly. I have tried to cancel my membership for 3 months now with no luck.

Fantastic experience: Best part of the gym is it's 24/7. Has good equipments which means even if it's crowded you can still have a machine available for your workout. Offers several other workout plans.

Fantastic experience: Absolute pleasure training in the gym, equipment all functional and maintained, no weights left on the floor, clean and maintained and I’ve been around the uk training this is a hidden gem! General manager also very social and seems a very nice guy Thank you very much! 11/10

Negative experience: I have been attending this gym for years and it has just gotten worse and worse. Women come in large groups and there are too many people in a small place at one time. The women's section is absolutely filthy, hair and dust all over the floor and most of the machines are run down or out of use. The mats are disgusting too and there is no air conditioning or windows which makes it stink even more and no ventilation in light of the heat and people still able to spread Covid. Someone needs to inspect this gym and sort out the cleanliness and safety of the place. I ended my direct debit as it is a waste of time and money to try to work out here and you're better off looking for another gym. The manager Alec is pretty rude too and has no customer service skills.

Fantastic experience: Large weights room with a variety of free weights & resistance machines, upstairs boxing bags etc & a cardio area with cross trainers, exercise bikes, steppers & tread Mills. Sauna, steam room & showers.

Negative experience: Alec the manager is probably the most rude guy you’ll find in that gym. Has no manners, doesn’t even greet you. In the women section his always got the telly switched off and when asked to turn them on the employs just say it’s to save money so they can’t. The machines are broken and left there for months on end instead of getting them fixed. Especially when they’ve upped their prices but not the quality!!! The cleanliness is an absolute joke! Ceiling has damp coming through. Don’t bother turning up super early (7am) cuz they ain’t there so if their finger sensor doesn’t allow you access (plays up) then you have to wait until someone bothers turning up for their shift. And after 1pm don’t bother, there’s no one at the gym. Always blamed on no staff, well if you paid more attention to customer service and felt less entitled then you wouldn’t have this issue Alec. Just like the manager the equipment at this gym is out of date. Avoid! There’s better gyms in surrounding areas.

Negative experience: I would not recommend joining this gym. As much as I like the classes (Yoga, Bodypump). There is no ventilation and aircon in the gym. During heatwaves I felt really dizzy because of heat and lack of air... The smell is really bad after classes and not healthy at all. Unfortunately the management is waiting for the landlord to fix and it seem that it could be March 2023 but they are not sure.

Fantastic experience: Only recently started there but I haven't had any issues, the gym had plenty of equipment to use and the staff have been nothing but helpful especially the manager Jay who took time to show us how to use the equipment. Would definitely recommend !

Positive experience: Equipment is pretty run down and there is only two squat racks (!?) but otherwise a pretty standard gym

Negative experience: I have been member of this gym for few years then after long time tried to join the gym again today but not impressed with staff no one was interested to talk or show me around as it's changed alot since i left very disappointed. If the customer service goes like this I'm sure no one would join this gym at least not me.

Fantastic experience: Been going to this gym for a couple of weeks, the atmosphere is great, staff are friendly and always there to help. Will definitely be my go to everyday gym. Funnily enough I witnessed the below incident, the chap appeared to be verbally screaming and abusing a young lady, seeing how intimidating he was a member of the gym defended the lady which I thought was handled well and rightly so.

Negative experience: The staff is very good, but unfortunately the amount of cheap customers made me having the worst experience ever. A woman was parked in 2 spaces in the gym's car park, asked her to move and she started swearing I told her off and a random guy got involved taking her side whilst she was the one swearing I asked to cancel my subscription, it was my 4th time Good manager, not his fault, but didn't find any support at all.

Positive experience: Nice gym. The locker room is spacious and clean but have to bring my own padlock and towel. The steam and sauna are not open. I was told its permanently closed. It sucks! and still paying the same without the facilities. It would be nice if they reduce the fee. I really enjoy the sauna tho. Oh well! I'm hoping to reopen I'm sure alot of people would be pleased.

Negative experience: The gym is just okay. However, be WARNED when trying to cancel your membership!! They use a separate company to deal with monthly payments. The gym has no interest in helping you sort it out. They go by the name of Debit Finance Collections. They don't respond to your emails and will continue to take your money after trying to cancel. Look them up on Trust Pilot, worst reviews going. Definitely do a day pass before signing up, I wish I did.

Negative experience: I used to use the ladies gym here and went back after the March lockdown in April 21. When I went, it was so filthy, there were cobwebs on the machines, chewing gum on machines, literal dust when I touched things. It definitely wasn't cleaned properly if at all. People workout on top of you, there's no social distancing (this was before restrictions lifted and there was 1 to a machine). No one came to enforce the rules. They still have equipment in there which is ripped and therefore can't be cleaned properly either. They had the vent on at the top, which was blowing out hot air, yet there are no windows in there and the fire doors were shut. So basically it was just hot air, no ventilation, plus people sweating during peak COVID. I emailed them after just to raise issues, hoping they would address them, but they just ignored the email and didn't respond, so I doubt they've done anything about it. Cancelled my membership as a result of how dirty it is. There are 100% cleaner gyms in Birmingham for the price you pay. Not worth the money at all

Positive experience: Its a shame that's half the spinn bikes are broken and are old and dated. very disappointed with the air-conditioning need more fans way to hot

Negative experience: Just joined this gym. After seeing it advertised on the 24/7 Facebook page that classes would commence on Monday 17th May, I decided to join. First day at gym today and my first class. I turned up but the instructor didn't. Class was only cancelled 10 minutes AFTER it was due to begin. A lot of disappointed customers tonight. Apparently, this poor level of service is not unheard of here. Avoid

Fantastic experience: Rejoined this gym this week... great team, friendly and helpful.Very clean, staff are cleaning throughout the day and cleaning stations throughout. All gym users are thorough with cleaning equipment before and after use too...everything ya need from a gym

Negative experience: Covid 19 not safe no mask worn by staff

Negative experience: Filthy changing rooms. Rude staff, especially the Brother with the glasses mentioned in another review. Their attitude is to police the gym members rather than make them feel part of the culture. Equipment is old, often broken and tired for what you are paying, and I never felt safe using the lockers or leaving my bike outside.

Negative experience: Through this second lock down they have charged me twice and on the website it said that they will pause all payments. So not impressed with that although I have cancelled it now but trying to contact them is not the easiest thing.

Fantastic experience: Have been going to this gym a number of years, great equipment, friendly staff, good womens area for privacy which some family members use, good parking facilities, hygiene has been good throughout COVID. A few recommendations for improvement. - Clothes Dryer, these are great in some gyms and swimming pools, would be good to put wet shorts etc in after sauna shower, would be a great addition to the changing rooms - The shower areas need to be cleaned more often. - Gym can get extremely busy at peak times from around 5 - 8pm, maybe put in an offer on off peak memberships to encourage users to use the gym early AM and late PM.

Negative experience: I have recently joined the gym and I've called to enquire in regards booking a class. Staff was awfully rude and hang up on me, so unprofessional and definitely not very welcoming for new customers.

Positive experience: Good facilities only a few brownies machines not enough bins for blue roll and not enough sanitizer stations I had to go right next to someone in order to wipe down the equipment I was using so it kinda defies the object

Positive experience: Very spacious and great that it has a car park, would have been great if the sauna and steam was open earlier as Im more of an early bird. Defiantly great value for what you get compared to other gyms around.

Positive experience: It's clean advertised as 24/7 but steam room and Sauna shut at 6 on a Friday till Sunday and 9pm on the weekdays. When they're working . Great classes and great machines. But the steam and Sauna times let it down

Fantastic experience: Great gym with Sauna and steam room. Would be much better if the sauna and steam room were open a little longer on the weekend as that's when most people have free time. 6pm switch off on the weekend is all that let's it down for a 24/7 gym
