Feedback Friday…’Excellent Hotel In Scenic Location’ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“Booked 1 night with dinner and breakfast as a couple. Checked in by Denisa who made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless with a very comfortable large double bed, large smart TV and excellent powerful shower. We had a canal view which was very picturesque and was a delight to take in all the wildlife with a cup of tea. Swimming pool was lovely and warm and facilities were clean. We opted for a bar meal looking over the moors and the burgers were of gourmet quality. James the Operational manager introduced himself and asked if we were enjoying our stay and for any feedback which shows the attention to detail this hotel boosts. Fact of the day: Skipton was a trading centre for sheep and wool and the name Skipton is derived from northern dialect/Anglo Saxon for ‘Sceap’ (sheep) and ‘Tun’ (town or village).
