Fantastic experience: Very kind coach

Negative experience: This is a true statement of my experience at this gym. It has gone down hill. If you think you will become a champion here, think again. There is jealousy between coaches and boxers, lack of compassion and empathy, and it's full of self-centred bullies. If you are looking for a career out of boxing, you won't find it here. GOOD LUCK!

Negative experience: My time spent at Birmingham City Amateur Boxing Club was marred by an extremely frustrating coach whose behavior made it difficult to train and enjoy the experience. The coach's demeanor and approach were far from professional, leaving a negative impact on the overall atmosphere of the club. The coach's communication skills were severely lacking, making it challenging to understand and follow their instructions. Their explanations were unclear and often contradictory, which led to confusion and hindered the learning process. It was frustrating to repeatedly ask for clarification, only to be met with impatience and dismissiveness. Moreover, the coach displayed favoritism towards certain individuals, neglecting to provide equal attention and guidance to all club members. This selective treatment created a sense of division and unfairness within the training sessions, further diminishing the club's overall appeal. Overall, my experience at Birmingham City Amateur Boxing Club was greatly hindered by the coach's difficult nature and unprofessional behavior. Their poor communication skills, disrespectful demeanor, inconsistent scheduling, and favoritism created a negative training environment. I would not recommend this club to anyone seeking a positive and supportive boxing experience.

Positive experience: Excellent place. Coaches are friendly and calm but push you to do your best at the same time.

Negative experience: A little skanky if I am honest, we tried to get some gorgeous promo girls here but a member of staff was really mean. Maybe we are too good for this place
