Negative experience: Visited the hotel to use sauna and swimming pool facilities after calling ahead to check and paid £24 for two day passes, already very expensive. Only to then find out that they only have separate saunas for men and women therefore useless to us. It then took 20 minutes for them to issue us a refund. On top of this the swimming pool water looked very murky and unclean. Staff were clearly untrained with zero hospitality skills and we weren't even offered an apology for the inconvenience and complete waste of our time. If the hotel can fail so much on such a basic level then I dread to think what the rest of the facilities are like. Poor show indeed.

Positive experience: Perfect for what I need. Not to costly all staff are friendly and helpful. Other members are friendly and swimming, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room all included in membership.. what more could you ask for

Negative experience: Unclean, poorly maintained, and over-priced. The equipment is fine and staff are usually friendly. Just don’t expect to see them stick around - the smart ones seem to leave within a few months. The building is neglected and falling apart. The company does not care about loyal members, offering sign up bonuses to create the illusion of value for money. Sadly, none of that money appears to be spent on regular cleaning, painting, and care.

Fantastic experience: A lot of people have made very negative reviews about this spa. I'm writing this review on the 17/10/23 The changing rooms are clean newly fitted with new lockers and the floor is clean see videos The sauna has been newly renovated is very clean. The Jacuzzi is working and feels great and so is the steam room. The pool is clean and warm too. Yes the building is 20 years old and needs some renovations but this is normal. The spa facility is free for hotel guests and you can't complain as I use a local council pool and spa near my home and it costs £7 so this for free is a great bargain on top of your room and other hotel facilities. I rate this spa 4/5 but overall give it a 5/5 for Google.

Positive experience: It's ok,but there are some obvious things need improvement and nobody cares.There are literally rotting disgusting carpet right on your exit from male changing,it is there decades no one give a ...and many other things like that

Fantastic experience: Building is dated - however this is easily overlooked as it is a lovely club , friendly helpful staff, great classes and in particular spotlessly clean. Having the added bonus of plenty of free parking, use of the restaurant and grounds is such a bonus. Membership is appropriately priced.

Fantastic experience: Manager Glenn is am absolute legend

Negative experience: Cheaper than most, but not worth the money. Only joined recently, as I wanted a local gym to train in after work. Shower etc, go home eat and relax. Seems like the Pool is full of kids lessons all the time. Equipments ok, but building maintenance is the pits. Member for 4 weeks and in that short time, sauna not worked 2 days, no showers / no water, (almost a week now, and that was without notice for first 2 days), toilet filthy and broken, hotel toilet no better. Rubbish, Bulbs out, Clock, still needs a battery, Towel bins overflowing, Some equipment been out of use because of ceiling falling above. The whole place has been a hole for a while, its about time jupiter spent some cash completing the much needed repairs. Staff are nice enough, but powerless and unmotivated.

Fantastic experience: I love this wellbeing centre. Very friendly staff and not an overcrowded place. The gym is well equipped, having the sauna, swimming pool, hot steam room and jacuzzi accessible after a workout for me is a plus ❤️ without breaking the bank too . I will 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic . They do have swimming lesson that are taking place which means you can still swim if you don't mind the noise i know some people like to swim in quiet, but this can be avoided if you go at different times they also have a gym and different classes i.e yoga . There is also a pt instructors there

Fantastic experience: The gym is great value for money for the amount that you get. Cardio room, weight room, resistance room, studio, pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna. All the negative reviews stating there is not enough equipment just aren't working with the things available to them, you do not need 100 machines to target specific muscle groups and 50kg dumbells to do one rep on chest press. Glenn the manager is always helpful and friendly and has really changed things up since he started. 5 stars.

Negative experience: The staff are helpful and friendly which is a wonderful thing. However the is sparsely equipped in the free weights area there is only two benches and if there are a handful of people working out then you would have to wait a very long time. There are a few resistance machines lats, thighs, pecks leg press and leg curls and the cable station. More resistance machines are needed shoulders,biceps, triceps backs The cardio room is a little better with more machines to use. Did I mention that the staff are excellent. The location and how the gym is situated is good and being in the hotel you can have a meal which is nice and plenty of parking.

Positive experience: Generally a Nice Gym to be in but there isn't much equipment. Showers are not private.

Negative experience: I got a free pass as thinking of changing gyms and it hasn't changed since I came here 20 years ago.. The changing rooms are rotten and the lockers are broken, I can't believe it's open and they charge for memberships

Positive experience: The classes are good. The gym is good enough for my needs and not busy as the times I choose so that suits me. The changing rooms are grim and need updating and cleaning better - I hear this is under review. It is not expensive.

Negative experience: It's alright, but there isn't much variety in the resistance machines and there's always at least one thing broken, the jacuzzi or the sauna for example! Also, one star removed as I just found out they don't do personalized induction programs, just generic ones based on what you want to get from the gym!

Negative experience: Avoid like the plague should be paid to use it

Negative experience: Poorly managed. Staff leaving in droves. Facilities crumby, changing rooms appalling. Can't believe local residents pay to use it. What is the host hotel thinking of?
