Fantastic experience: Great space, Always clean, Sauna is great. All the weights an machines you need to have a good workout, yes could benefit from changing up the machines as some are just terrible, maybe more leg press style machines would do wonders for this place.Overall it’s convenient and clean with friendly staff ✌

Positive experience: I have been coming here for about a year absolutely perfect. No issues with the gym or equipment. The staff currently are very helpful and kind. The only thing I would say is buy some decent lockers as most of them don't secure the pad lock.

Negative experience: Never recommend. For a machine you should wait 30 minutes. There is just one machine of each machine. Never never recommend. I was wrong registered there and it’s the first and last month of all my life been in Better gym. Don’t waste your money and time there.

Negative experience: My husband been physically assaulted in the gym yesterday. He was fainted on the floor. Management is so pathetic, no one bother to call the ambulance when I arrived i had to call the ambulance he was sat on chair with head injury etc. This gym should be ban for operating. And there should be more than one person operating the service.

The open gym have way more to offer but as a women who started wanting to work out in the ladies gym I’m very disappointed as nothing much to offer at all it’s very disappointing.. also don’t find it very comfortable sharing the sauna or steam room with the men, think they should have their own!

Negative experience: Awful gym for ladies! Twice this year my membership has been “cancelled” without warning or any emails to say my account is suspended, and I have had to a pay sign up fee twice. Happened for the third time last week and they asked me to pay £32. Pretty expensive for a gym that has 5 treadmills in the “ladies section” if you can call it that. Had to wait 20 + mins at peak time for a machine to be free. The showers are rank at any given time, sanitary pads will be floating around in the woman's showers alongside clumps of hair blocking drains because they’re not cleaned properly. The toilet in the ladies bathroom has been out of use ever since I started going to this gym last year. I used to work at a gym, I can see when members are put first vs grabbing as much cash as you can. If you can’t accommodate a reasonable ladies only space then simply don’t have one! 5 treadmills is not good enough, having to get in line for a machine at the gym is not good enough.

Positive experience: It's OK not sure about the sharing of the sauna and health suite on different days and times for men and women. It would be better if each had their own. There is a ladies section and studio for classes and is quite neat and tidy. Toilets could be cleaner and the showers could do with a jet wash they looked a bit dingy.

Negative experience: The system of this gym it’s Suit professional thief’s Temporarily stopping the subscription costs you five pounds, and canceling the subscription costs an additional month fee, for example, if you request to stop the subscription in January, your request will be implemented in March, and thus you will be forced to pay fees for an additional month that you do not want .. A professional theft program in the absence of government officials

Negative experience: This gym has gone downhill. Old equipment of which some machines are faulty and out of order. Equipment needs attention asap (DEFINITELY REPLACING) The place is accumulating a lot of dust which is visible on the walls/speakers/and windows around the gym. Needs a deep clean. Thought this gym was a not for profit organisation so why can’t they re invest the money back into the facilities.???

Negative experience: Please fix the steam room. I joined this gym due to the sauna and steam room facilities offered. Unfortunately the steam room has been extremely disappointing, especially these past two weeks with no steam at all. When I first joined, the steam room was excellent. There was so much steam, you could hardly see the person next to you. Unfortunately this didn't last long. For months it has been temperamental. Now there is no steam at all and it is at a very low temperature. Please fix this issue.

Positive experience: Very good gym lots of space and machines for cardio but the havey weight exercise area is small and less equipment. And the time for weekend is too short.

Negative experience: Very friendly staff but need better cleaning (a lot of dust on the walls and ceiling’s. Old Equipment’s Bathroom washing liquid none left for few days , mirror broke … Gym close at 22:00 Monday till Friday and the TV’s and Music Stop at 21:30… Very ugly Costumers been complaining but never nothing been done… music should be on till 22:00 …Can’t stop the Tv or Music when I listen or watch when I run … very disappointed…. Hope something will change

Positive experience: Gym is absolutely fine, equipment is decent missing odd few machines but really sound for the money. I really don't know what the 1* reviews expect for the price. I go there to train and never had one issue with training. It is clean, yeh dust on the vents but that's the same almost anywhere. The sauna I don't go for that so I can't comment. For the price I have 0 complaints would give it 5* if it had a few more machines.

Positive experience: The steam room and sauna were closed for well over 2 years. They opened earlier this month, after they were supposed to have been revamped and refurbished and today just 3 weeks into opening the steam room is not working not bad going when it's been closed for 2 years.

Negative experience: Submitted a cancellation form twice now. Description says will be dealt with within 3 days it’s been 2 weeks now had no response whatsoever from gym. Also called the gym no answer at all. Fully robbing members by providing poor gym facilities and not responding when members want to cancel. AVOID THIS GYM AT ALL COSTS.

Positive experience: It's a very nice gym with everything required to fit your needs. But there are two reasons in why I am only giving it 3 stars. 1. Some of the equipment is a bit rusty or makes high pitched noises when using them. It's more of a nuisance and will not hinder your workout. 2. It is extremely cold in the building. I always have to wear a hoodie and sometimes I shiver. This hinders my workout as I have asthma and cold air hurts my lungs when I do cardio, luckily I bought an excersize bike for my home. I'm sure this is because of COVID but I sometimes wonder if they are cheap when it comes to heating. Other then that I think this is a good gym that also fits the covid requirements so you needn't worry about that when you workout here.

Fantastic experience: Good gym at a great rate. Includes a variety and range of classes. Women’s shower facilities are excellent. Only painful thing is after using the sauna you have to get changed again to walk out to get to the women’s shower area. Would be great if it was connected to the sauna room (which is the case for the lads - Also a bit unfair). But other than that 5* because it’s always kept clean, affordable, and easy to access and park! Great management also, always sort out any queries promptly.

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs all complaints have been fobbed off steam room/ sauna area is very unhygienic I don’t think it even reaches the correct temperature not to mention the missing tiles that you have to sit on if we ask staff when will more shower facilities be provided all we get is a candid answer of soon! currently three cubicles and three open showers on a typical night about 25 /30 males in the building, you do the maths!!!!!

Ive been coming here for the last two years and it is still the same. My suggestion is to go somewere better for a cheaper price and a better facility

Positive experience: It’s a very convenient gym in the community Especially for the elderly who straggle to travel far . loads of free parking spaces , the ladies section is small but compact . It’s clean and the ladies shower area is well managed and clean . For the price you pay the sauna and stream room is a bonus. Staff are friendly and approachable, always happy to answer any questions. It’s not a 5 star luxury gym but your not paying big money to join and attend .

Negative experience: They only have two portable platform decks which is annoying as you have to go round the whole gym to search for one that’s available. You book classes online only to find out that they’re not running when you arrive. There’s limited accessories for the cable machines (only 1 tricep rope and 2 revolving bars that I’ve found which I don’t think is enough due to the size/capacity of the gym). The female staff are so unfriendly (would be diff if you’re male) It’s been so hard to engage with them and they give you death stares and walk around with an attitude, giving off an unwelcoming vibe. Hard to get any form of conversation or advice out of them. A smile wouldn’t kill afterall you’re meant to be creating a professional friendly and motivational environment for all your customers no matter what shape or size. If it wasn’t for the miserable looking female staff giving off bad vibes, then the gym is fairly okay. It’s the closest gym to my home so it is in a convenient location however, due to the female staff making you feel uncomfortable, I’ll be going elsewhere and telling people about it.

Positive experience: You get what you pay for. Adequate facilities and can be busy at times. Rated four due to the shower doors not closing properly. It has been left unseen to for a long time and it is annoying for many.

Negative experience: What a waste of money. They provide no tissue or hygiene spray to spray the exercise equipment after using it. The place absolutely stinks and department of health need to close this place down. Their closing times on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are too early at 6pm. Even if they had it close at 9pm on weekends then it would negotiable. All the mens showers are broken so there's no place to shower.

Negative experience: Looking good from outside but they accept only local bank accounts for payment. Cash or international credit cards not possible = foreigners have to choose another gym. Pity!

Positive experience: The gym is starting to make a lot of positive changes but the thing that lets it down the most is how messy it is. The staff seem to allow certain people (who they know personally) to leave weights all over the place. I don't want to make this a racial issue but in a room full of Asian men, I was the only person who was asked to put weights away (I am a white male) and the worst part is I was never using them in the first place. The female staff member was very rude. Anyone that knows me knows that I respect everybody no matter what, but this was very annoying for me.
