Positive experience: Good gym with great staff and a variety of machines and equipment to use but my only complaint is the lack of cleanliness.

Positive experience: No nonsense weights gym, friendly staff, good range of equipment and not badly priced for a monthly pass..open daily from 6am to late,so hard not to fault it really.

Negative experience: Went in there after a fairly long time. Been a member numerous times in the past. Forgot place was cash only. I asked the brother if I can have a session now that, I'm here and square up tomorrow, he refused. Disappointed as I was a previous member numerous times, and have family that frequent the place, for a measly £5 he lost some members. Sparkhill Gym and Formans rd gyms were better anyway with more facilities.

Fantastic experience: Really good gym and the best showers I seen in a gym has everything you need times 3 as there are many machines no waiting around to use equipment like in those smaller gyms and the price per month is definitely value for money

Negative experience: Worse gym in Birmingham old out dated machines that do not work and very smelly. For the price you pay you might as well go to the Gym Group or pure gym at least there machines work and it's clean.

Positive experience: Good gym more of a underground fighting gym needs more machines but over is good for the price

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible gym. Weights missing, broken equipment, machines not working wouldn't recommend.

Positive experience: The machines are good and overall good people BUTt there's this one skinny guy in particular that works in the night that ruins it all .Firstly has a terrible attitude secondly he always closes the gym early but always makes exceptions for the people he knows .when you ask him about it he gets very aggressive like he owns the gym .I've been going to this gym for 5 years but I honestly am considering buying a gym membership somewhere else shame really

Negative experience: Over run by kids and ego lifters. No one really wants you to do better than them, if your looking for good sessions and good equipment this isn’t the one for you. Most equipment are either ripped or broken. Dumbbells never get put back in their places and there is no hygiene no one cleans after themselves, you’ll often go to benches covered in sweat, it’s disgusting, glad I left.

Positive experience: Staff are welcoming and always have a smile when you arrive. They have a refurb underway and much of the building has had a facelift in lockdown... big plans for expansion. There’s a family atmosphere and other gym goers are friendly. The new hammer strength equipment are a great addition bringing the gym up a few notches and making it a pleasure to train here. Boxing ring and MMA cage are popular with a few instructors doing classes and one to one sessions. I look forward to coming here for a workout ️‍♀️ Great gym, good people... thanks guys

Negative experience: The sauna and steam room hardly ever work and I used to go 7am because they told me no music in the early morning but I have had to complain numerous times before they stopped playing it

Fantastic experience: Great place. Attitude has become much better and facilities are always in good quality. A great workout is included followed up with some great and motivating sparring.

Negative experience: We had such a have good times there because when I first came to this gym Fatima was there and I used to come here everyday in the mornings. Unfortunately this place is closed down because in the ladies gym the new owner could not be able to run this place ever since Fatima has quit her job and no wonder why the majority of the ladies have left the gym after her departure. It looks like everyone prefers to go to Sparkhill Pool because it's much bigger than this one and it's always busy at all times. I have left this place for good because it's not the same without Fatima being here with us and I feel very dissapointed when she left her job because of the major argument with her manager.

Negative experience: When Fatima was there and ladies had the upstairs space,the gym was like a second home for many women as she made them feel welcome. It was pleasure Working under Fatima and it's a shame she wasn't appreciated for her efforts and now it closed down as no one could manage that place like her.

Negative experience: facilities in the gym are at a low There is nearly always a wait to use most of the machines especially the treadmills. There is only one set of weights. The hygiene levels are not satisfactory at all, there is solely one toilet and the changing room is narrow and cramped. Staff members- the young woman is kind and polite and helpful to a limit however the older woman is rude, unhelpful and impatient. The gym brings a lot of hassle to locals in the area as parking becomes a mission- they do not have a convenient parking space for gym users either. Prices maybe cheap however i do not recommend for anyone who wants a real gym experience!

Negative experience: As a present member of the community in which 'premium fitness' is located i can confidently say i am completely far from impressed with the gym and all the hassle which has come with the arrival of the gym in the community for the couple years! When news first came about of the gym opening in the area people like me living in the area were excited and optimistic about the future use and benefits of the gym- to stay healthy as there isn't enough facilities like this in Sparkbrook. However! i can confirm that we were all far from pleased with the actual outcome of the gym but more disappointed and annoyed! For the gym itself, there are low facilities, not enough facilities and a limited amount of space in the womens section of the gym... also the changing room is cramped and narrow! The hygiene is also at a low as they only have one toilet which is in the changing room and is absolutely unsanitary! Regarding staff there is one young woman who is kind and helpful to a limit but then there is an older one who is downright rude and completely wastes my time everytime- as a result recently she has been fired! And that is my experience of once upon a time being a member BUT in the perspective of a member living in the community the gym not only is the cause of litter plastering the roads but to find parking is now a daily mission for us, after stressful days of work we are to come home to then spend another half hour merely looking for parking because of inconsiderate members of the gym leaving there vehicles for hours on end! The gym should really take use of the space around them and come up with a parking convenience for their customers who use the gym. If people do not talk about what is going on in our area how are we to better our ways of living. Do you want to live somewhere disgusting and abused like our streets are beginning to look like now? or somewhere you can call 'home' which is clean and peaceful- you're haven? I urge all members of the Sparkbrook community to share their displeasures regarding this nuisance! Thank You

Negative experience: This is a Male only gym. The women have a pathetic little seperate gym that shuts very early. They say women can enter the main gym. But provide no facilities for women. Not even a toilet. The staff are extremely rude and very cocky. When I asked for toilet facilities they told me to go to the womens gym, which was closed, and they knew it. They just made me run up and down the stairs like a fool. When I returned to say it was closed the (insert expletive) laughed at me. Disgusting establishment.

Negative experience: customer services is awful staff rude and cocky. They open late meant to open at 6AM but they open at 7AM but rather then that the gym membership £15 a month!

Negative experience: Sick and Tired of this gym and all the bad parking and rubbish and litter on Montgomery Street which is all created by the gym goers. the owners of the Gym have no consideration for the local community and the affect on them. I have to wait till late every night to park my car outside my house, from morning to night there's no parking due to Gym goers take parking space. the BCC should revoke the licence or put restricted time. I would like to hear other house holders on there day to day.

Fantastic experience: Extraordinary gym, absolutely blown away 10 out of 10, looks absolutely amazing, great facilities, and the decor looks excellent. Definitely recommend. can't believe its only £15 a month great value gym.
