Fantastic experience: Viktorija was the nicest person, gave me the best walkthrough of the gym. Signed me up, stays in touch every time I walk in the club and is the best encourager to keep coming back. Can’t wait to try her bootcamp ☺️ a true beacon for Fitness First, don’t lose her!!!!!! The facilities are def aging, but the team really makes best with what’s there.

Fantastic experience: I strongly recommend this gym as always well-organised and clean. Also, very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff/trainers especially Victoria and Owen. Great community as well, members are quite welcoming. I only have a bit of concern which is just the squat rack/smith machine as only one, the gym has to add atleast one more though. Positive experience: Member for a long time now. Unfortunately losing its way. Sauna has been out of order for nearly a year and today the steam room was broken. Not sure it's worth the money without these. Very friendly staff and good classes.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for almost 10 years and honestly it’s a great gym with a strong sense of community that’s hard to come by. A huge shout out to T, an incredible PT and staff member of QP FF, who is always willing to help and truly cares about the members and his work. Negative experience: Sauna has been damaged for over a year, and now they close an hour earlier every day :( not a comprehensive set of equipment/machines and some quite rusty, but cheaper gym in the area for these reasons as well

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym in May and I’m loving it, especially the classes! The spin classes are amazing – so much energy and great music. Huge shout out to Shan and Jennifer for being such fantastic instructors! These classes have truly become my main source of motivation to keep coming back.

Fantastic experience: Been a member now just less then a year, and my experience so far has been absolutely wonderful. All the staff are super friendly and very welcoming, and I feel very welcomed everytime I go in. The gym itself is perfectly equipped with all that you need or require to have any kind of workout you choose and tons more! It is very clean, very well maintained, unlike my old gym, not seen one equipment or machine out of service or use. There are seperate saunas and steam rooms included with the membership for male only and females only, and I have used the steam room a few times, but the sauna seems to be out of use for quite a while now, not sure what's going on there however it doesn't affect me as I prefer steam room, so no points lost there from me. The changing rooms are very clean and very well maintained, hardly any lockers broken or out of use. The showers are just excellent, powerful, just how i like my showers . The people are very friendly and have made quite a number of friends during my time there, it's a great and friendly atmosphere. There are many classes also included with the membership, but I haven't attended any as of yet, mostly because of the times they begin and finish is just not possible for me. All in all, I'm very happy being a member, and I believe I will renew my membership once the year comes to an end. If all the above wasnt enough, there is an app that you download to monitor and record your exercises, also gives you instructions, tips and all the information you need about workouts, exercises, booking classes and from your branch and all the other branches too, and plus tons more which would takes ages to explain all. If I could suggest anything, I would say, maybe have a members evening out once a month for drinks or meals etc, I think that would be super fun and make more friends. Other then that, thank you very much for a wonderful service and a lovely experience

Negative experience: I’ve been a member here for several years and the decline is appalling. As others mentioned, the sauna has been broken for 6+ months, and no staff can provide a timeline for when it will be fixed. They suddenly changed closing hours to 9pm instead of 10pm with zero notification to members. Really frustrating to be charged the same membership fee and receive fewer amenities — feels like a breach of contract. The staff are nice but the gym is always overcrowded at peak hours and the music is way too loud. It’s a sad outcome that the corporate chain doesn’t care enough to ensure this facility is maintained, as I’ll shortly be cancelling my membership similar to other members.

Fantastic experience: The staff are so nice and helpful, especially Jo! Her energy put me in such a lifted mood. I booked on classpass and I was given a warm welcome to the gym and a tour of the space. Really enjoyed my session here and I'll be booking again :)

Negative experience: Sauna hasn't been repaired all summer. The Staff keep saying it will get repaired soon. Now I hear it's going to be removed entirely. Sauna was the selling point of the gym. I will change the review once we get the sauna back.

Negative experience: Welcome to the 90s! For every GenZ member out there who wants to visit an authentic 90s gym that has not seen an upgrade since Oasis was formed, go visit! Some of the machines are so old, gallons of sweat have corroded the base of them. The sauna has been broken for months. Ask a member why nothing has been fixed, and you receive a friendly shrug. It's not their fault, they are very professional, helpful and try to accommodate, but blame corporate greed. It always feels the gym wants to drown out its shortcomings with music. It’s a very noisy place. Why am I still going there? Convenience. It's a short walk from home. If there was another gym near Queens Park station, I'll be the first one to switch. I'm certain many Fitness First members will do the same …. Waiting for the BOT response below in three, two ….

Negative experience: The space is tiny, the women’s toilets smell really bad . Apparently there was an incident with the sauna but they haven’t fixed the smell. The machines and the equipment is really old. There is no space to do much and it’s always full , you cannot even move

Negative experience: I really like the stuff in that gym but when a specific one is in,my workout is so confusing.He shouts all the time in the reception or around and I loose my concentration as also because I have anxiety,I get irritated.I just don’t understand who would shout during their work

Negative experience: This is the best gym location wise for Queen’s Park and has amazing yoga classes and kind knowledgeable trainers… but the gym floor is just simply too small to get a reliably good workout and at £54 a month it’s about £20 more expensive than competitors on Kilburn high road. I’ve always been confused why the changing rooms on the other hand are huge compared to the other gyms in the area. If this gym would make the changing rooms smaller and the gym floor bigger I would be back within a day. :)

Negative experience: I joined the gym over 3 months ago. Very friendly staff. I had a session with a personal trainer Jamie. He is great, helpful and knowledgeable. Jamie prepared the plan adapted to my needs. Thank you so much Jamie. Unfortunately, I dislocated my elbow. My recovery will take longer period of time. I sent 3 emails to the office and an email to Queen's Park manager with the evidence of my accident. I asked for cancellation of my membership. I'm waiting for the response over a month. When I went to the gym people tried to advice and help. One person checked if they received my emails. I overheard that noone even opened them to read. I was told to send another email to the office and the manager with the medical proof which I did. I'm super disappointed with a lack of interest, professionalism and support. I won't recommend this place. I sent an email to [email protected] as suggested and I received a message - there is a permanent error.

Negative experience: This place is getting worse and worse. Dry sauna is closed for 5 months (??!?!?!) and now the steam room is closed more often than it works. I mean, it takes a month to build a sauna from scratch, what could possibly happen for it to not work 5 months apart from the staff's indifference? Sauna is half the reason i'm paying for this subscription. I'd honestly have left a long time ago but unfortunately there are no alternatives in the area. I think that's the main reason everyone is taking the piss here, honestly one of the worst experience ever

Negative experience: Just signed up recently and was looking foward to using the sauna and steam room to find out it hasnt been working for months. I will be cancelling my membership and going elsewhere as information online is misleading

Positive experience: I really like it here but the AC has been way too cold in recent weeks, and the music far too loud. Can barely hear my own music even through noise cancelling headphones. Would be cool if that could change :)

Negative experience: Disappointing Decline in Quality. I used to love this gym. It was a fantastic place with excellent facilities, all for a reasonable membership price. Unfortunately, over the past year, the quality has plummeted. One of the most frustrating issues is the sauna, which has been broken for five months. The website still claims it's up and running, but that’s far from the truth. Even worse, no one seems to know when, or if, it will ever be repaired. This kind of misleading information is unacceptable and should require compensation. Additionally, the gym has become overcrowded to the point where it's nearly impossible to have a comfortable workout. There simply aren't enough machines to accommodate everyone. Of the three cross-trainers, only two are operational because one is broken. The lack of equipment doesn't stop there. There is only one gym ball for all members to share. This is ridiculous and speaks to lack of investment in maintaining the gym's standards. It's truly a pity to see a once-great gym go downhill so quickly. I hope they make the necessary improvements soon, but until then, I can't recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: It was my first Yoga class and for sure not the last,I met Sophie a Vinyasa Yoga expert. I felt am alive while copying her moves, I am proud of this gym for having Sophie. My hero

Negative experience: Their website says one of the benefits is a complimentary towel, but they did not have towels in Queen's Park. Im not happy with how their "multi-access" to other locations works. I have to pay £10 per entry to go to another club. I dont recommend this Gym

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. The gym has very good sized windows which let the natural light in. Much better than the casual under the basement gyms that you usually find in London as rent is cheaper. Only con is they don’t provide towels so think to bring your own one. Cloakroom would need a revamp at some point too.

Positive experience: Good gym if you live in the area. It’s relatively small, but always very clean and the staff is super friendly. Classes are varied and easily bookable via their app. I’ve enjoyed all that I’ve taken so far. One thing I REALLY wish they’d reconsider though is the music. It’s way too loud. If you look around the gym, practically everyone has headphones on, including me. Even so, their music is SO loud I can still hear it through my headphones. Sometimes, I get headaches and working out helps, but not with such loud music. Also, there are several other health-related reasons people may be sensitive to loud noises, for instance being on the autism spectrum. I think the gym would be much more enjoyable and inclusive with no music, but just turning it down a bit would already be a huge help. Overall, the place is great. But I do find myself getting annoyed and stressed out while I’m there due to that reason. It puts me off the gym.

Positive experience: I like the gym and have been coming here for half a year now. The staff are always friendly and the facilities are kept in a decent condition. I love the yoga classes they have here, Paolo and Sophie are excellent instructors. The classes are fairly frequent and I always enjoy the challenge. They're super simple to book using the FFX app. The equipment is pretty good, there is a fair amount but because the space is small they don't have some weightlifting machines that other gyms offer. Ultimately, it's a good gym and something for everyone. I've enjoyed my membership thus far and would recommend it to people in the Queens Park area.

Negative experience: They still don't fix the sauna door, you can't drink water either because it's always broken. I also suggested that they put a note with the things that are prohibited and they haven't done it, people get treatments and shave inside the sauna, disgusting

Fantastic experience: This fitness club is local to me and has everything I need, lots of free weights and machines. The staff are very nice especially Vicks and G. Sauna is quite hot so if you like that it would be a bonus!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to the gym for many years. The staff are incredibly friendly and the gym definitely has a great community vibe. Given the size, virtually all our needs are met. The only recommendation I can make however is a second squat rack, which I hope they can acquire very soon.

Positive experience: Used to attend here for studio classes. The room was a good size with mirrors. The floor is good and not too hard. Music system is good. Temperature control is great too. The gym is up on the first floor. Water facilities are available. Reception staff are really friendly.

Fantastic experience: Boxfit with Mr T! Easily the best class and best instructor I've ever had! I'm a member of FF Camden, but come here especially for T's classes. He gives so much knowledge and motivation and always stays an extra 30 minutes to give you that extra push. Thanks T!!

Negative experience: No towels, why is it £49 a month? the changing rooms are straight out of 1980s. Also the staff scares me so much.

Negative experience: Another Fitness Fitness that's 10 years overdue a refit. Tired, poor kit, nutcase members screaming and not putting weights back. Forget squatting during busy periods there's only one squat which is rammed in the far corner of the gym where people often decide to do floor work. It's a no from me.

Positive experience: Can't wait to go back in February. The gym is good, the only thing which I personally don't like that there direct debits straight for minimum of 6 months..I rather pay for 2-3months straight but not every month for 6 months. The rest I'm happy with.

Positive experience: You are always greeted with a smile by the staff when you walk in! Modern and clean environment with multiple machines and free weights for your workout. The sauna and steam room are also a big plus. Maybe one or two more training benches would be helpful. Music is most of the time on high volume, so when you want to listen to your own music make sure to wear over ear headphones. If you are in Queens Park and are looking for a nice gym with good atmosphere this is the one.

Fantastic experience: I have been teaching spinning for over 23 years now. I recently started teaching at Queens Park because of Cleopatra. I have known her for many years and respect her as a fitness instructor and manager. I am so happy to be part of her team. The members are great and absolutely love the spinning room. Fantastic experience: Cleopatra's Rhyde classes are really good. She is very energetic and the music is fun. Would definitely recommend. The gym needs some improvement but that's really down to Fitness First' head quarters not giving this gym a larger budget and nothing to do with current managers.

Negative experience: I have been a member of this gym for many years. It has gotten much worse over the years. The monitors work sporadically and when they do, there is no mechanism to be able to plug into any monitor so we have to rely on subtitles. The gym cut off Sky years ago. The exercise machines are so old (at least 20 years old) that they squeak-none of them have a visual animated monitor to try different programs which is basic to all exercise machines that have been produced in the last 15 years. There is apparently a new Manager who I have never seen even though I am in the gym most days. The only reason I continue to go there is convenience (it is close to where I live) and some staff members, specifically Jo and Imran who kindly showed me some boxing techniques.

Fantastic experience: This 5 stars is only for one person! The lovely staff member Jo. She goes an extra mile, she always manages to put a smile on my face even if I had a tough day. She is one of the best staff members. The only staff member keeping me in that gym. The moment she leaves, I will terminate my membership as the whole place is falling apart. You can say Jo is the glue of that gym! Thank you Jo for being you! Thank you for your amazing customer services! Thank you for your kindness! Unlike the rest of the team she actually shows and cares about you. The classes that are amazing is A lovely’s lady new spin class I can’t recall her name which is a 10 out of 10, Sunday class with Dianna which i haven’t been able to attend due to the class time change. Can we please bring this back to 10:30? If anyone is reading this?! I also attended Cleopatras spin class it was amazing to start with but halfway through the class it went downhill and she sounded like screaming cats on the mic. The gym itself deserves a minus 10 , the gym is a disaster. It’s never cleaned, you can see all the sweat marks on the stairmaster and the dust collection on the equipment. The windows have spiderwebs and spiders (is it Halloween)? The team is just as bad as the gym, they are more interested on their phone and hiding in the office - seems like they’re just there to collect their pay check and bounce. This gym seems to be like a cocky boys club for the personal trainers and a gossip station for the female staff (apart from Jo). It’s nice to know that Data protection is safe and secure in that club…NOT! Everytime I walk in you can see the staff members on their phones! Is the manager even doing their job? Who is the manager? Seems like the manager is not even there for the staff to act like this.

Negative experience: I’ve been at fitness first for a long time now, unfortunately they have been declining in their customer service and their hygiene is dropping by the day! They never have cleaning wipes for the customers to wipe down machines, and then no one checks if they need refilling. What’s really sad, is I’ve been to other branches and YES they are better! Queen’s Park are ruining their reputation on the market. The Sauna is always out of order and the one thing that is working is always dirty and smelly, steam room only gets rinsed with water and they don’t actually use any cleaning products Shame as this gym was great when I first joined around 3years ago! Also new staff are not friendly at all and seem to enjoy hiding away in their office most of the time. I’d rather pay more and go to another gym :(

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to spin classes for more than a year and I try and go 2-3 times a week. I love Cleopatra’s spin classes at Queens Park - she always injects hers with so much energy and enthusiasm that it doesn’t feel like a chore going to them! My form and technique have improved a lot thanks to her and she adjusts the difficulty for everyone based on their skill level. Fab music and if you’re looking for a class to push yourself whilst still having fun I’d highly recommend it!!

Fantastic experience: Very good gym. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Cleopatra’s rhyde class and Dasha’s yoga class are amazing. Both very professional with a great spirit; their good energy makes you want to go beyond!

Negative experience: Gym is a disaster since the new manager started and I heard she caused one of the staff members to injure herself to the point she had to leave. The best classes have gone and the manager is dreadful. Never going back now

Negative experience: I recently quit my membership of fitness first due to the queen's Park branch where classes were getting cancelled, there is also general poor upkeep of facilities, the lockers are often broken and the sauna has been turned off for the last 2 months with no news of when it will be fixed. There is a steam room but it isn't hot, maybe turned down low to save energy bills? Membership is quite expensive given this has become an ageing no extras gym.

Fantastic experience: I just joined this gym a few days ago and I absolutely love it here. I was worried about going back to the gym due to the pandemic situation but the staff here keep it super clean and tidy. I had issues signing up online but the manager had been extremely helpful - not to mention her amazing Rhyde class on Monday evening. The staff are incredibly kind and supportive, I'll definitely be getting my friends to join here as well.

Positive experience: Excellent gym. Clean and tidy plenty of equipment and space for everyone. Has a separate studio area which is big. Hot showers as well as steam and sauna rooms separate for men and women. Plenty of CV equipment and a functional training area. I took advantage of the Red Monday deal and have got three months for the price of three and no joining fee. Apparently only available today January 18th.

Positive experience: I joined this gym just 3 months ago and although it’s fairly small, I think that’s overall a asset because it gives the place a really nice sense of community and the staff are really friendly and approachable to everybody. General hygiene is good and the equipment feels very high quality. My favourite thing about this gym though are definitely the classes. I just came out of a Ryhde class with Cleopatra and the energy and empowerment she brought to the room was unmatched, we were all dying but feeling so incredible and proud by the end hahaha. Two complaints I have is that sometimes the sauna (and often the steam room) are turned off/ not working which is quite annoying when you're in a towel and have to get changed and go ask for help and also on one occasion a few weeks back the instructor didn’t show up to a spin class and nobody seemed to have communicated with her or know what was going on. But I don't want to end on a negative note because my experience has been a really positive one, especially compared to my previous gym, and my fitness has improved dramatically since joining

Positive experience: Good space - good variety of equipment, not huge therefore there is only one of each machine/squat rack etc but not hugely busy later in the week, friendly staff
