Negative experience: One of the worst managed places in Wandsworth…..never got a refund for my son and daughter cancelled swimming sessions …once you pay in they do anything to don’t pay you back even though its them who cancelled the sessions….i had a very stressful time dealing with the managers there very rude and unprofessional……
Fantastic experience: Comfortable and fun environment with lots of activities
Positive experience: I've booked classes that I'm no longer able to attend, I have tried in vane to reach a member of staff to see if I can transfer my booking to another date but no one answers the phone, the mailbox is full and the automated system just keeps taking you in circles. Classes I've managed to attend have been good with the only fault that I booked previously for a "all levels session" to be told that it's not and that the booking team label it as such to boost attendance numbers - however the instructor did accommodate me. But even if you book for the wrong class you can't reach the admin team. It's frustrating that I loose my class fee and others miss out on the slot if you are unable to attend because the phones aren't answered.
Negative experience: Limted parking on site. Sports hall is very small for netball.

We understand that parking may be challenging, and the sports hall may seem small for netball, however it is in fact a full sized netball court. Negative experience: Shut this place down if reception don’t have time to find simple information for potential customers. Really disgusted with the receptionist told me this morning ‘he doesn’t have time’ to find out if classes are suitable for pregnant ladies.

Positive experience: I was there for a meeting the environment was welcoming and staff was polite
Negative experience: If you’re serious about swimming or training for an event, avoid this place. Can’t be too harsh on the running of the place as it’s run by kids and they’re just doing their job (literally, never seen an adult on site in the 1.5 years I’ve been going), however, management of this place is poor. This is the fourth time I’ve turned up and about to get in the pool to be told the life guards not turned up. Zero communication before hand, so wasting time travelling to and from the place for nothing when I could have gone elsewhere. There’s been times when the sessions run over before and they cut your session short so they can go home. Not what you expect for £6.60 a go. Don’t waste your time or training slots on this place.

Negative experience: Lovely place, great facility but extremely poor customer service! I had to wait 20 minutes over the phone to just book one session. Staff at the front desk are poorly trained. They give you misleading information. They make up instant company policies over the phone.

Fantastic experience: I'm a fan of open shoot archery. Instructor gives you attention and good tips how to improve your shooting skills.
Negative experience: Pool has been unavailable for weeks and they don't tell you until you turn up. Shambles. My wife had 3 sessions booked and was never notified . Turned up to find it closed.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her 7th birthday party here. We chose a bouncy castle party and it was great! All of the children had so much fun, the staff were great with them and kept them well entertained. Two bouncy castles and lots of games set up. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful in providing things we needed and they really made my daughters party fun. Highly recommend for kids birthdays.
Fantastic experience: Ive been to quite a lot of archery classes here and can happily say that the experience is always good. The instructor is incredibly knowledgeable and approachable. He helps people of all levels and seems to have limitless patience. The equipment is generally good quality, a bit old or worn perhaps but perfectly serviceable and safe - and free to use. The general staff are all friendly and helpful as well. I can't comment on any of the other facilities or classes however.

If you are booked onto our swim sessions, automated emails and text messages are sent out when cancellations take place (you have to opt this in due to GDPR compliance). We also have our service updates twitter account (@Aspire_Help) updated as frequently as possible to reflect any issues with our provisions. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the chlorine supplier has been experiencing massive disruption to their supply chain & logistic operation over the last few weeks and hence why we closed the pool down for 2 weeks over the summer break. On another occasion, the centre was closed for one week as majority of staff had to unfortunately isolate as instructed by NHS Track & Trace. Furthermore, we must strictly adhere to our parent & child ratios during Family Swim sessions and because of this, unaccompanied children under 8 years of age will not be admitted and it was the reason why you have been turned away from one of our sessions (we issued you a full refund). Health & Safety of our customers and the public is of utmost importance to us. We apologise for the inconvenience caused. Aspire Team
Negative experience: Aspire Southfields closed due to covid outbreak didn't let football clubs know they were closed very unprofessional things need to change football teams had to use the bumpy grass around the centre and had to end early as it got dark....

Unfortunately as you know, we were forced to close the centre unexpectedly due to NHS Track & Trace and the emails sent through our bookings systems failed. For this reason some clubs were not notified in time. As the centre was closed, and following GDPR we don’t hold personal information of our customers hence, we were not able to make phone calls neither. Fantastic experience: Not alot of parking spaces. But well stocked.
Fantastic experience: Small but well equipped gym with everything you could need. Reasonably quiet and good if you just want to get on with your session. Akira, aka Kira and Chloe (I think (?)) very helpful and friendly.

Positive experience: I've only used the sports hall for archery at Aspire but it seems like a really nice sports venue. It's usually nice and quiet when I go in the evenings or Sunday afternoon. I'll have to give the swimming pool a try as that seems quite popular but again without too many people.
Negative experience: Could do with a refurbishment in the changing rooms. Flooring is constantly pooling making it slippery and a hazard

Negative experience: This leisure centre is for people in Wandsworth and Southfields to use. In an area where there are no other swimming pools aside from private ones (e.g. at a cost of ~£70.00 per month), I had hoped this would be an affordable alternative. The centre only has adult lane swimming from 6.40pm onwards in the week, and then on weekends they have family swim sessions. There are no earlier times for adult lane swimming (even say 6.00pm one night a week), and there are no morning lane swimming options either. This is far too restrictive, and in practice means the lane swimming only attracts a certain demographic. It is a real shame as if the centre were open more for lane swimming, it could be really helpful. It is a shame they have let down the local community in this way.

Please note, Aspire@Southfields is not a part of the local authority. We aim to host more Lane Swim sessions during the holidays, however, throughout term time, there are other pool sessions and activities that need our attention, such as Swimming Lessons for children and adults and Family Swim sessions. Some equipment such as kickboards, woggles etc. are reserved for Swimming Lessons and/or Lane Swim sessions to reduce damage to the equipment used and due to H&S limit number of floats in the pool; the storage areas for these are also clearly marked. Positive experience: Gym is small, but reasonably well-equipped - free weights, small selection of machines, several treadmills, three or so cross trainers. Classroom facilities are a very decent size, with good resources available.

Hi Qasim, Hasnat who made a booking on your behalf was aware of the equipment used and he understood our facilities do not cater for indoor football. Since then we have made sure he would be booked in the second sports hall which has more ventilation. The structural design of the first sports hall is unfortunately beyond our control. Negative experience: Very disspointed and would avoid booking the Aspire Courts. I called and they said the hall was available for a specific time I called back to pay. When I did so the manager said the court wasn't available and that the receptionist wasn't aware of the process and that I was talking to the wrong person. I also found out the same thing has happened to numerous other people. It doesn't take a lot to create a sign and note for a receptionist to say. If someone rings regards sports hall hire give them the following email.... WORST SERVICE I've recived from any leisure centre in LONDON!!!! Wouldn't recommend

Negative experience: Absolute disgrace how the staff dealt with our ongoing football booking. Our team has been members for over two years, gave them notification every time as agreed when we couldn’t play and they abruptly cancel our booking with poor/no reasoning. Very poor communication and wouldn’t take calls, hid behind emails even after trying to discuss the situation reasonably, logically and politely. Falsified claims to back up their prerogative to strip us of our booking and give it to someone else. Situation was dealt with extremely poorly and could have been avoided. After being members for such a long time can’t believe this is how their management deal with things. A clear understanding barrier of customer service which you thought would be key considering they are in the service sector. Your response is noted; however should you wish to play this game and accuse us of taking liberties to save face I can easily show a trail of emails showing cancelation notification as agreed and your staff cowardly not responding when trying to resolve the situation. You again have stated facts wrongly to argue your case, this is an absolute shambles you conduct yourselves in this way. It wasn’t impossible either to speak as I spoke with staff over the phone who informed me when managers would be in. Your apology is lacking any sincerity and purely a PR stunt. Please can you provide your highest managements contact details?
Dear Mr Francis, We here at Aspire are sorry that you feel this way after the cancellation of your booking. However this was not taken lightly and was the result of multiple weeks of late cancellations and late notice. We tried to accommodate you with this as unexpected situations can occur out of the team’s control. Liberties were taken with our gesture of goodwill and whilst the team had perfectly valid reasons for cancellation, the 48 hour cancellation policy we hold was disregarded. This happened 6 weeks in succession. As a community centre, we have multiple local teams that have been waiting a long period of time for space on our 3G pitch. We feel that it is unjust that these teams have to miss out when they could in fact play. Furthermore, the cancellation took place right before we closed the pitch for Christmas therefore the whole centre was closed over this period making it impossible for us to speak with yourself. We did manage to speak with yourself in the January (as soon as we returned) to further the discussion of your booking. Once again we apologise for any ill feelings you might have and thank you for your time spent here at Aspire. Kind regards, Aspire Team.
