Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Giuseppe Gallo enough as a personal trainer! Having done very little routine exercise in the past, I was looking to get healthier after maternity leave, and Giuseppe was exactly the support I needed. He helped me establish a consistent routine, taught me so much about healthy habits and strength exercises, and set me on the right path to achieving my fitness goals. What I truly appreciated was his personalised approach—he paid special attention to helping me build a positive attitude towards exercising in the gym, which made all the difference. Giuseppe provided plenty of practical suggestions for continuing on my own, and prepared a straightforward workout plan tailored to my needs. Thanks to his guidance, I feel confident and motivated to keep going, and I’m thrilled to say I’ll be visiting the gym regularly from now on! Fantastic experience: Had training sessions with amazing pt Giuseppe and I’m so glad I made the decision! Giuseppe really helped me to learn the movements while keeping the sessions fun and effective. I feel stronger after the sessions and am motivated to train by myself. Fantastic experience: Training with Valentina has genuinely changed my entire relationship with fitness and my life - I went from being pretty afraid of the gym to now holding down a regular routine and going to the gym 3-4 times per week. Her 1-1 sessions are highly tailored, ambitious, but importantly fun and I felt like I could see and feel progress already within a couple of sessions. My energy levels and mood have especially benefitted! I realised that going from 0-1 was the hardest part and now almost a year on since starting sessions with her, I have been able to do great work by myself thanks to the foundations and motivation she taught me. I cannot recommend Valentina enough, she is the most fantastic trainer and above all else an amazing human!

Negative experience: Turn the heating on. It’s a fridge in here.
Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. We have recently made slight changes to this area, looking at improving energy efficiency. This is both to control our energy usage, but also with a look to reduce our carbon footprint. By law, we have a requirement to provide a certain amount of fresh air based on occupancy levels, and our ventilation system increases and decreases at different times throughout the day and night, making sure we meet these requirements and provide good air movement around the gyms. These levels are based on size of the gym, and occupancy levels, and are regularly monitored. All member feedback is reviewed, and brought to the attention of our Facilities team, who regularly review any changes we make to our gym facilities and all feedback is taken into account when making any future changes. Negative experience: Can you turn the music down please. Nobody wants to have shitty pop music blaring out of the speakers in every corner of the gym. Just stop.

Negative experience: Avoid all the costs! Genuinely, the people who come here are the worst I have ever seen anywhere in the UK. They think they can chat in a leg press machine for 15 minutes without training in busy times, and it seems that this is the people’s general behaviour, and no one stops them. And people don’t bother to put their weight in after they use it! I can’t blame the people who work here at all.

Positive experience: Only turned around in the car park but it was clear of any litter
Positive experience: Decent amount of weights/benches/machines, nice waterside location and generally clean facilities. Like all gyms can get very busy at peak times. Has been my home gym for 5+ years now and can't complain overall - just a few extra bits of gear like a boxing bag would make it 5 stars.

Positive experience: Cleaning is problem here. I have see a hair in an equipment over over 2 week, the hair is still there. Staff are rarely seen cleaning unlike other renowned gyms. The ladies gym room here is a plus.

Positive experience: Great location, but the building may need to be bigger as there are too many members at this one location, which makes it hard to use equipment.

Fantastic experience: PureGym London Limehouse is improving in the last months. I believe that Michael's dedication (Manager), is reaching some goals that we all needed to be solve. There is still some work to do (deep cleaning once in awhile in the common areas for instance) but, definitely it's getting better. One of the most important and positive things about this gym is the Staff! Valentyna's Scapin hard work classes and Connor's guidance as a PT and as a trainer in other group classes, mixed with their knowledge and kindness, gives me the energy I need to reach all my goals! Very friendly gym! Well done all of you!

Negative experience: Lots to improve guys.
Fantastic experience: The best coach for body condition; amazing zumba coach; incredible pilates coach. Pilates coach made me love pilates and teach me how to control my body and head. Zumba classes are most fun, relating and joy. Love it every class I attend

Fantastic experience: My 5 star is 100% attributed to one of their personal trainer that works here: Valentina Scapin. I started my journey with Valentina a year ago and I can happily say my life has changed since then. With her passion, charisma, professionalism and dedication she’s been able to transform my body and regulate my diet in a way that has become natural and part of who I am now. She doesn’t just show you how to train your body and how to eat healthier, she’s able to change the way you perceive exercise and food. I can’t be happier to have found her and I know for sure I will regularly make good use of her time in the years to come.

Negative experience: No staff in sight. In July 2019 I was left alone and unattended with very large weights. I did a kettle bell swing with a 20kg weight and it has ruined my back leaving me with life changing injuries. L5/S1 herniated disc. I was unable to walk for 8 weeks. I get flare ups and it has greatly reduced my quality of life. Pure Gym leave you alone with heavy equipment unsupervised and vulnerable to serious life changing injuries

Fantastic experience: The gym has definitely improved over the last few months: cardio equipment is mainly working now, the changing rooms are clean and the showers have hot water and are working. Great value for money.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars for my favs Valentina, Gintare and Connor they have all helped me maintain my fitness goals, lost 10kg in 3 months helped me with my confidence getting back into the gym after an accident, and just the most fun in my classes with the rest of the old G’s i train with I have a ball every morning. Also Mike the manager is new to the gym but he’s a cool guy listens and what I’ve asked for has been addressed.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for a while now. The gym is value for money, some times are busier than others, it’s just a matter of organisation. The classes and the fitness team are amazing though, especially Valentina’s cycle classes. She is able to keep me motivated and and help me push my boundaries, so I take this opportunity also to say Thank You to her!

Positive experience: Decent range of equipment, though the place can get crowded at times. Place is fairly clean. Don’t see much staff around, though? One inconvenience is that the mobile signal & Gym WiFi are terrible, which is not ideal for streaming on a workout. Please could you get a signal booster installed?

Negative experience: Today I had an experience very different from what I usually have. So, I'm doing step ups on the Smith machine on a bench, and when I finished and I'm about to leave, the manager comes to me and asks me to not use the bench because it damages it. First, then you should fix the hip thrust bench that is used as its supposed to and is ripping apart. Should people not hipthrust?. Secondly, he suggests that I use a step-up. I wasn't trying to do lunges in case you hadn't thought about it. And third, it was rude and arrogant. I work in a gym that costs 200 a month and I don't go to my customers telling them they are ripping my leather. Rude and bad customer service.

Negative experience: for the past 3 months of me going to this gym only 2 of 6 showers were worked. no one fixes them and there is no one to ask to address that. Today the whole bathroom including showers was flooded and i don’t don’t when that will be resolved

Fantastic experience: Been going there for over 2 years, loving it. Good quality Ziva dumbells going up to 50 kg., lots of barbells, treadmills and all sorts of machines. Very spacious , would recommend.

Positive experience: Decent gym. Good weights area and cardio area. Love the idea of a women's only studio. 1 lifting platform gets busy at times. Avoid at peak evening windows if you just want to get your workout plan done. Staff are friendly and helpful

Negative experience: If you love queuing for machines. This is your place. Otherwise avoid busy all day. If you want it empty have to go around 2am till 6am.

Negative experience: Twice the door opened only from one side and then refused to let me in. I'm so angry and shows me that I am in BUT I am out. I hate this door !!!!!

Positive experience: Classes are really great, but the gym is always too full, never any blue roll to wipe equipment down and the weights are NEVER in the right place. Why this is one of the most expensive branches is beyond me.

Negative experience: The only reason I will keep using the place is because it's 24 hours open and I don't like crowded gyms (hence I go at 4:30am). That being said, here's what I think of the place: Several machines do not work or are on the brink of failing. It does not help to just put "out of order" signs on them. If it doesn't work how about taking it out? The men's shower area is always full of puddles of water. The urinals always stink of urine (this is the only thing that really gets to me). If you are going to use waterless systems please get one that works, there are many in the market. Being a cheaper gym chain doesn't mean it has to be shoddy with basic things as the mentioned above.

Negative experience: everyone we talked to was wonderful, but unfortunately the website made us believe we bought a Plus contract prepaid of X months (no UK bank account). We would have never bought a membership that only allowed access to 1 location as we have a different apartment in a different neighborhood every month or so through 2024. After trying to use it at Limehouse and realizing it didn't work, we contacted various customer service and they told us that the website switched it to a basic (with no warning) when we selected "pre pay" at the payment option. That's fine until we couldn't get a full refund, nor is there a way to convert after. We had actually intended to come back after opening a UK bank account, but the lack of full refund is anti-customer and unreasonable. There are plenty of other gyms with multiple London locations we can choose from.

Positive experience: Used to be really good but has declined recently. The classes have become less varied and often get cancelled. Some machines also need maintenance.

Negative experience: It's in a great location however the fact that there is no signal or internet available in the gym is a turn off. Also, the air conditioning isn't that great in there. The yoga sessions are good there though!

Positive experience: I've been to many puregyms and this one was probably the one I had my best workouts. There's a lot of staff - all professional, and specified in different areas. The equipment is good and the dumbbells are not all over the place. The only thing I would consider is fixing the internet connection - which is faulty and very slow - and the AC - as a person with asthma, I had to bring my mask some times because the AC kept blowing dust. 6.5/10

Positive experience: Decent and cheap gym that has most equipment you need. Some of the equipment is very crammed (rows cable machine and dips machine will hit each other if both being used). A lot of the machines don't have weight numbers anymore, so you have to work out how much you're lifting. Apart from this, equipment works well.

Positive experience: Joined this gym on and off about two years. They are pretty decent! The only downside is that the cleanliness is really bad. For the price we pay we should have this as standard! On the positive note the classes are getting better. Big shout out to Zsombor who is very creative and gives us a challenging workout in his classes

Negative experience: Pretty poor customer service, asked to change my membership before my payment date but still no response. I don't see why members cannot change their memberships online

Positive experience: Pretty decent gym, chose it due to the reasonable price and proximity to where I live. I've only been coming here for classes so far so can't speak for the equipment, but I do notice that the workout areas always tend to be packed in the evenings so a bit overcrowded for sure. The classes are pretty good with good instructors and there's a good variety of them. Can feel hot/stuffy in there sometimes too, but would recommend overall.

Fantastic experience: Just signed up to the gym after moving to London. App said 40 people but was able to get on everything I wanted I.e. free weights and machines. Layout of the gym seems good. Would want people to put away their weights but not the gyms fault

Negative experience: The PIN didn’t work and had to go home. Not sure why they have a help button when no will come out to help, ended waiting 30 minutes (while the gym was staffed) . Also they ask you to call a number which doesn’t take calls
Negative experience: Convenient location. 24 hours. But broken air con, too cramped and too much equipment is broken for too long. Also, they’re quite happy to change your membership benefits half-way through a month without providing a refund.

Negative experience: I have had multi access gym ave have been paying for membership without using the facilities since 2019. They have since stopped access țo the gym next to work place without notifying me. I have been paying non-stop all this time during pandemic. Had they notified me, id stop subscription. I have gone back into work and decided to go gym after but there is no access. This is a scheming fraudulent company, I tried calling, no answer, I tried email, short generic reply, I replied, no word for 5 days. My brothers a lawyer and he asked me to go via trust pilot, Google review and then FCA. What's my rights in this matter In my household there's 5 puregym membership, you will receive 5 negative reviews on trustpilot and Google

Positive experience: A pretty solid gym and Giampaolo (gym manager) was super friendly and welcoming! I haven't used all the different facilities yet, so I can't judge everything, but I do think the womens section is wayyy too small that I'll think I'll need to go to the mixed section for that reason The mixed section is great & wayyy bigger with types of equipment ready to use! This is my first time with PureGym and I definitely recommend for you to at least try them, one star down just for the womans section here but otherwise great!

Negative experience: A lot of equipment is out of order and stays that way for weeks. Functional area is locked off because they carry out additional classes to the ones already taking place in the studio.
Fantastic experience: Great location, very nice collection of free weights with lots of benches. Very clean and loads of antibacterial spray and towels. Also machines are great. The only thing that is super annoying is the weights seem to be never get put back, I think the management should start fining members for this as it’s getting a bit out of hand.

In regards to weights, it is in the Gym Rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times or outside of staffed hours it can be hard to police. Negative experience: Every day another piece of equipment is broken in this place. You can't use half of the stuff, the leg press it's broken from more than a month. Every day I'm stepping in to the gym something else it's broken. Disappointing!

Negative experience: Please be very careful if you plan your workout around midnight. The locker rooms gets closed and you won't be able to get your stuff back as there is nobody from the staff around that time. PureGym, it'd be very helpful to broadcast some warning through the speakers that the lockers will be locked.

Positive experience: It’s a quite nice gym. But why doesn’t PureGym repair the broken machine? When can PureGym fix the leg press equipment? It has been a month since I joined PureGym and I really wish I could use it. And can PureGym turn down or turn off the music? I saw many people were using their own earphones.

Positive experience: new benches are needed in the free weights sections as well as some of the equipment's. They have one new bench and the other ones are old and some a bit risky as they feel like they will give in. Also the ropes (which are mainly used connecting to cables) for things like triceps is damaged and only one in the gym. various other equipment's such as the small triangle bar (don't know the exact name of them) the rubber grip is gone on all of them. They need replacing. Upstairs needs some sort of ventilation as the air is trapped and is really stuffy. If a PureGym member comes in early, they will need to rearrange the free weights section by putting the dumbells back into its designated place (as labelled with the weight number). Due to no one doing this, the free weights section is a mess and no one has any care for them. (He/She will only need to do this once) I can only say this from my experiences in 20+ PureGyms as I like to get a different scenery. I find that if they are kept tidy and placed in its correct place, people tend to put it back in its right place. Hence why other PureGym's have been organised in this regards.
