Positive experience: Decent swimming pool, that's all I've used.

Fantastic experience: this gym is really good for people who only like to do a bit of things , the swimming pool is nice temperature there are private showers in the changing room which is amazing for people who don’t like being around people , the only issue is that there is no one really at the till and the staff don’t really know what there doing .

Negative experience: Unprofessional staff. Jobsworth. Wouldnt let my 3 yr old have a swim accessory in the pool. Just started arguing abt it and made it look big deal eventhough same accessroies are accessible during other sessions. Not usomg it again. Very hot showers. even in this heat of 26 degrees. Just disappointed, as its closeby. Not worth it in my opinion. Will look for a friendly place.

Negative experience: Sadly with the lack of swimming hours me and the wife will be leaving this gym. Plenty more in the Gloucester area which provide a better service, obviously costs more, but worth it if you're getting more. Sadly the staff are kind of ill-mannered, and not much communication. I don't know why I paid for a membership, when most of the times I come in there is no one at reception, so I could just walk in without any payments. Children kicking things around from the next door school.. and it's lack of facilities makes it difficult to go. If you're planning for a baby to go, then I suggest don't.. there is no steps to go into the pool.. so you will have to do a fireman's lift with your baby to go down the ladder. Hope you've worked in an emergency service field.. it will come in handy getting in and out.

Negative experience: The staff are utterly, utterly clueless here. I DO NOT recommend. They are void of any interpersonal skill. They talk to children doing swimming lessons like they stood in them and kids feel unwelcome. There are no showers other than one IN the pool so kids can't properly shower down in privacy or girls do their hair. The app does not work...and oddly enough the staff haven't a clue how to assist. I really regret moving my kids here from another pool. It is absolutely terrible and I would actively urge you not to go here.

Positive experience: Great gym for starters with nice range of equipment and machines. However only downside is the very outdated app which is a struggle to get working.

Positive experience: Use the gym regularly and like it. It could use a few bar weights to compliment what they already have. Only negative is the playlist that seems to be aimed at 10 year olds most of the time. It would be good if it was a bit more mature and motivational in the evenings when the school kids aren’t there.

Negative experience: Kids and push chairs coming through weights areas because of lift placement. Dangerous and off-putting.

Positive experience: Lots of money spent on everything except the changing rooms and pool, what has been done is lovely.

Positive experience: Children attend for swimming lessons. Currently having some building work done but lessons continue and its all well signed throughout. Pool water is a nice temperature - not too cold for little ones

Negative experience: Timeslots for swimming are too short, Lifeguards have no manners

Negative experience: Very badly managed by Halo, terrible!! Overbooked one week, second week, no staff, shoddy communication.

Fantastic experience: Have only used the pool and sports hall but facilities are good and clean with plenty of parking and helpful staff

Negative experience: My son and I go every Thursday to badminton.....the sports hall is ok but the rest of it is a dump. The toilets and changing rooms are disgusting. Doesn't look like it's changed from when i went to the school there a long time ago.

Fantastic experience: My son had his football party there today. Kids had a great time, thanks to Spike Devlin for running it. Good size party room after for you to have food etc. Definately use again. Good location with free parking.

Fantastic experience: A hidden gem. On the rise with new developments. I run a badminton club from here and play squash. Staff are friendly and are pushing hard to improve the place (as shown recently). All the facilities you need, all be it run down... But your there to play sports and train! What else do you need?

Positive experience: A great sporting facility within walking distance of Kingsway and Tuffley. Didn't even know it was there until recently and pleasantly surprised to see the range of facilities available (swimming pool, squash courts, gym etc). Fair prices and lots of times available to use the equipment. My only criticism is that there is no water dispenser, very thirsty after lane swimming!
