Beauty & Melody Spa: Opinions
Negative experience: Booked at spa day for 2 at the Beauty and Melody spa. 3 days before our booking I was told the venue was not available due to emergency maintenance but that we were being offered an upgrade at their Euphoria Spa. We attended but it was not an upgrade by any means. It was a creepy place with mostly male staff and next to no facilities. There was also a horrific incident where my mother suffered injuries when the frosted glass door shattered on her while she was in the shower. She had cuts to her head, hands and feet and the staff at the venue dealt with it appallingly, not only continuing to let people into the changing room while it was covered in glass but then tried to blame my mother for opening the door in the wrong way. Nobody has even bothered to call to ask how my mother is after the incident.
Negative experience: We originally booked to go to the one in Liverpool Street. The day before we were meant to go we get an email to say there is maintaince work being done and they have “upgraded” us to their new spa in bank. This was certainly not an upgrade. I had no choice but to say yes as it was the day before and it was my boyfriend’s birthday. We got there and both saunas weren’t working, both steam rooms were not working. The facilities area is awfully small too and no where really to relax when it’s so small with only limited beds to sit on. When I complained via email, I have been ignored several times since. The customer service is awful. I finally got a reply after some time to which they said we could have complimentary 2 hours to use the spa facilities. I have replied to ask if this can not be in the bank one as we had an awful experience there, but no reply. I have been emailing back for 2 weeks no and still nothing. Really appalled by the awful experience as a whole, and the awful customer service experience. Baring in mind we paid over £120 and it is definitely not what we paid for and can’t seem to get a reply to compensate it.
Positive experience: Rosa was horrible, seemed like she was uninterested and didn’t want to be there. Kept stopping at times or walking off and coming back. Elvin was amazing and all the other staff were lovely. A shame Rosa let the team down
Fantastic experience: My sister and I had the best massage session. Rosa and Iryna did some magic on us. I definitely would go back and with them!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m Marsha and had the best time making the most of their facility, start with the gym, swimming, SPA and 50 min. body massage with my friend. Staff are friendly and attentive with your needs, they have the most amazing staff who knows how to treat their customers well. This was book using virgin experience voucher. I wanted to go back there again if I could find a good deal again. The only thing I can comment on is the shower by the pool won’t adjust to cool water, way too hot after steam and sauna. Overall it’s a good place to have your own me time.
Fantastic experience: Iryna and Rosa were the star of this spa!! They completely understood the assignment and knew the right places to massage.. my sister and I were very pleased. Would highly recommend booking them and will be back for them.

Positive experience: I had a lovely Swedish massage by Victor. The spa was clean but very small and busy when I arrived. Had to was to use the sauna. The steam room was not working. The jacuzzi was lovely and warm. Female changing room very cramped. It was a nice experience but definitely not 5*.

Fantastic experience: Relaxing time, good facilities, the receptionist (Victoria) was warm, receiving and gave us the half an hour extra in the spa that we missed by coming late. Masseurs Mert and Kate were excellent too. Would highly recommend!

Negative experience: My wife and I went for a spa day, a birthday treat. The spa is nicely located in the basement of a hotel on Finsbury Square. The staff were all welcoming and professional, and the facilities were mostly good - but see issue below. Our massages were very good indeed, best in ages, 5 stars for these! The steam room is urgently in need of refurbishment though, if you visit stick to the sauna for now. Also most of the recliners around the pool were very stained and grubby. At these prices in this location the facilities need to be up to scratch, hence my 2 stars. No reflection on the staff, thank you.

Negative experience: Definitely unforgettable! For a start the address didn't show that the spa based in MC building. The phone line wasn't responding and the reception people explained that something was wrong with a phone line despite one of them was engaged on one phone with private conversation. I've booked 2 months in advance to redeem my Gift Voucher and I did mention to that I don't drink an alcohol and sparkling water, juice or cup of tea will do well. Unfortunately they didn't have enough time to be prepared for such simple task! I was offered an orange juice lately and after quite a long wait and a couple reminders an apple juice! was served. It was very unusual to get additional charges for a bathrobe and slippers in a gift voucher (luckily I brought my own!) and to my horror, when I applied to my body a shower cream I couldn't wash it off because water in all showers was boiling hot! A few customers, who were using a spa from early morning, did mention opposite, that showers were freezing cold earlier! I would like to mention that lemon water is kept in reception and is never offered to customers in a spa/pool area and people walking to reception and asking for water... My body massage was unusual either - it ended with very intense head rubbing and it was not possible to call it as a head massage. I've asked 3 times to help me with water temperature but no one gave an assistance! I had no other choice but to leave with a sticky soppy hair and body. Very unprofessional. Very unprepared and absolutely careless! DO NOT RECOMMEND TO NO ONE!

Negative experience: Last week we had a booking with my friend. When we arrived they informed us that they had a problem with the therapists and we can't have massage the same time but one after the other. We found this awful as we booked this together because we wanted to spend some relaxing time together.They have offered an extra hour access to the spa facilities, something that in first place we didn't ask for, but anyway we wanted to use the facilities together after we both finish the massage so I think when I was waiting my friend is normal that I can use the facilities, as I was waiting for one hour.By the time I have started the massage, the door open and came in an other therapist with a client.I think this is so unprofessional to have a completely stranger having a massage next to me, and in the end I need to get dressed in front of someone I don't know.Nobody asked me if I am okay to share the room with a stranger. Isn't it funny that I couldn't have a massage with my friend but they brought a stranger? The facilities was okay but I wouldn't recommend the spa for someone who wants to relax, as my experience wasn't relaxing at all.

Positive experience: Has a relaxing afternoon spa and treatment with my mother. Excellent service and staff. The women’s changing rooms could be bigger, but over all had a lovely experience and would come again.

Negative experience: The initial phone booking with Jenna was pleasant, and Stem at reception was welcoming. However, issues arose when seeking locker assistance and encountering the therapist, who displayed annoyance and made unprofessional remarks. One in particular her words were "I am not a locker lady I am a therapist". Despite discomfort, the therapist rushed me into the massage room, insisting on immediate undressing. No introductions were made, and professionalism was lacking. Forgetting my bra added to the awkwardness, met with criticism. The overall experience was the worst compared to previous spa visits. I felt judged and uneasy due to assumptions made by the therapist. It seemed Irene had conveyed her frustration to other staff members, during my experience. I never thought it was possible to leave a spa feeling worse. My birthday treat was completely ruined. The hotel is fancy but the spa itself was OK, nothing out of the ordinary of what you expect a spa to look like. There are two Suna rooms 1 wooden and usable while the other looked like it was in terrible need of deep cleaning and maintenance (lots of mould and cracked walls )but shockingly still accessible.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful building matched by the warmest welcome. Reception team talked us through the treatment options and showed us the fab facilities. A really relaxed vibe topped by a luxurious massage made this the perfect pamper day!

Positive experience: The facilities at the Spa were great aswell as staff. The only let down was the masseuse. I opted for a deep tissue massage but received nothing of the sort. Not even close. Before I knew it the massage was over. I left feeling disappointed. Wasted money. I don’t think I’d return unfortunately.
Fantastic experience: I had a lovely experience today. The reception staff were kind and helpful, they managed their clients efficiently so the treatments ran on time and the spa facilities did not fill crowded at all. My treatment (facial and massage) was very relaxing and enjoyable. I wish I got the both receptionists and masseur’s name they were great.

Fantastic experience: Massage was great - knowledgeable and effectively identified back issues. Gave advice and worked in depth on problematic areas. Staff very welcoming and friendly. The facilities were very clean. The only downside is that the changing area is quite small - everything else perfect!

Positive experience: Welcoming super-courteous staff, small but peaceful spa. Pool is good for restful floating but not big enough for swimming lengths so definitely all about relaxation. Changing rooms well equipped. Sadly jacuzzi was out of use and we were so busy enjoying relaxing by/in the pool that we didn't have time for the steam room or sauna before we had our superb full body massage treatments. A perfect sneaky mid-week afternoon pampering treat.

Negative experience: Was TOLD, not consulted, that I would have a male massage therapist. This was in-front of a cramped reception area and I was too embarrassed to dispute it. Shocking. Facilities low standard (steam room is in desperate need of refurb) Won’t be back.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. It was my partner's birthday yesterday, so I decided to gift us some time at the Beauty and Melody SPA Looking at the reviews I thought it’ll be a great experience please don’t waste your money.
Fantastic experience: Amazing massage by the best masseuse Sam (Chinese lady) she was absolutely the best she deserves a raise . My partner had Shilon he was very very good also he gave him deep tissue massage and his knots are so eased he can go to gym. I really recommend the spa staff all very kind and polite. They used to have elemis shampoo and shower products not anymore which is disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Great morning at the spa. A swim in the pool, followed by a quick dip in the jacuzzi and a bit of a lie down. My daughter and I then had a massage, and both really rated it highly. Finally, a glass of bubbly - lovely!

Positive experience: From the offset the greeting from the receptionist was frosty to be polite - to be honest she was downright rude, which pertained and set the tone for the whole of our stay. The atmosphere was sub par and the facilities less than good. There were ominous stains over all of the lounge furnishings in the pool area which didn’t allow for a relaxing feel. The false advertisement and price were the real set up for a huge let down. Not sure in what world this could be depicted as a 5* service. The hotel maybe, but the spa itself no way. Disappointed. ***UPDATE*** The manager contacted me directly regarding my experience. The member of staff who was incredibly rude had been let go as there were other issues with them too. The manager invited me back in an attempt to rectify my bad experience with a good one which I greatly appreciated. The second visit was much more pleasant - all the staff were really friendly, helpful and attentive. A much better experience Thankyou!
Positive experience: I had a body scrub, a Swedish and foot massage with Rosa today and it was wonderful. The facilities though are a bit in need of refurbishment.
Positive experience: Great full body (Swedish) massage by Rosa, however, the entire spa experience was a bit chaotic. Half of the electronic lockers in the changing room are not working. We spent good 20min trying to find one that actually worked. Pool is small and looks a bit sad, relaxation beds are worn and stained. Also, our gift voucher included glass of prosecco, but the receptionist forgot even though we asked her twice. It took the third time for someone to bring it over. This place definitely needs some spark & refresh, and a bit more organised staff.
Fantastic experience: I went there today with my mom for a massage and the spa and it was beautiful! The lady who looked after us (Her Name Was Rosa) was very attentive and friendly and made the whole experience much better!!

Positive experience: Visited this spa with 2 of my friends and we had a lovely time. It was relaxing. The downfall is the changing room. It is too small and there weren't enough lockers. Would definitely go again though.

Positive experience: The couples massage was great! Appreciate the masseuse I had (blond lady that had a slavic language) she was excellent and trying to make sure I had a great time. The spa was alright, but just a pool a small hot tub and wet sauna. Dry sauna was out of order. They have great prices if you want to visit again!
Negative experience: Terrible experience. It was my partner's birthday yesterday, so I decided to gift us some time at the Beauty and Melody SPA. I chose it cause I saw nice pictures of the spa on the Internet and also because online it was said that they got all the services we were looking for, such as jacuzzi, steaming room and sauna (which is what my partner was looking forward the most). So I booked, £145 plus £20 cause it was during the weekend. I was so happy to spend that money as I thought I was going to gift my partner a quality experience. So we called a baby sitter and drive for 1hr to arrive at the SPA. When we arrived the staff was kind and smiled (which was probably the only nice thing about this experience).we paid an extra £10 for flip-flops and robes (which had holes in it), fil lthe modules (10 min taken away from our 2hr spa time already, but it was fine, we knew that was probably going to happen). We then arrived at the changing rooms, where the lockers didn't work, so most people would bring their valuable at the pool and leave the lockers open. I luckily met a girl who was leaving, so she left me her locker which "was kinda working". I put my staff there but it wouldn't close properly, so I lost another 15 min trying to make this locker work. When I finally menage to deal with the locker me and my partner can finally go the SPA. The corridor for the changing room to the SPA was freezing and when we arrived the sauna was broken, so we used the steaming room for a while and then decide to go to the pool, hoping it was hot since we had yet again to pass through a freezing corridor, but when we arrived it was cold. Nevermind, we still use the pool while waiting for a place in the jacuzzi, but we are only able to use it for a little time, since when it finally got some spaces our SPA's time was almost done and we had to go to our treatment. Our massage was not great either. We waited for the two massage therapists as they were late, then we waited for them to find the keys in the cold again (other 10 min lost). I paid for 50 mins massage, but with the therapists arriving late etc. we only get about 30 minutes treatment. After the massage we got a glass of prosecco, which arrives warm. Finally our time at the spa ends and we go back to our lockers, mine once again is not working properly, so I spent another 10 min trying to open it as it was blocked. While I deal with the locker the changing room gets crowded again with people dealing with lockers and I try to get changed and leave as quick as I can. It should have been a relaxing experience, but I just came out more stressed than I was before. It also was very embarrassing, as I thought it was a nice gift for my partner, but ended up just wanting for the experience to end as quick as it could. The place also excessively smelled of chemicals and chlorine
Positive experience: I went on a Saturday.. it was quite busy, wasn't able to get a locker.. and a lot of congestion in the changing area as well as some of the facilities not working.. BUT the massage was DIVINE. I got a full body massage and I felt lighter afterwards! The customer service was very polite and helpful.
Negative experience: All the staff we met where friendly and professional with a special mention for both Matt and Irina the masseurs who were very knowledgeable. However the spa facilities are cramped and tired so it’s time for expansion and a refit. Surprised the Hotel has a 5 star status from what we saw of the reception

Negative experience: Definitely avoid this place. Emailed me at 4pm on a Sunday, less than 48 hours before the appointment to say jacuzzi wouldn't be working. I rang them up to cancel and they told me I would have needed to cancel 48 hours before the appointment. Ridiculous.
Negative experience: My treatment was good but the treatment room was small and we were meant to be 2 people receiving treatments in that room. The spa needs a clean and freshening up (dirty door handles, walls etc). Disappointed in having to pay a £5 fee for robe, towel and flipflops when this has always been provided anywhere else I've been. And the changing rooms are not fit for purpose. They are too small with only 2 showers meaning queuing and overheating whilst getting changed. I wouldn't recommend this spa. It seems they overbook for the spa's capacity. Not the chilled spa experience you would expect.
Positive experience: My partner had booked this place for my birthday, prior to arrival I had read the reviews and tbh it wasn’t looking great at all but as it was booked we thought to ourselves why not what’s the worst that could happen. From my own personal experience, The staff and receptionist were really friendly, the massage was really great, and facilitates too, jacuzzi was working and so was the sauna and steam room. Only downside I would say that it could do will a clean, not major clean but I did manage to see that door handles and floors weren’t wiped or sweated properly. Also there is a lot chlorine in the air, but understand it is in the lower floor so the only source of fresh air would be from the A/C they have. Overall I had a wonderful experience and I would go again.
Negative experience: I have mixed feelings about this place, though they are sadly mostly negative with only a couple of highlights. My massage I had, though I cannot remember the ladys name was really quite fantastic. She really got in on the knots in my shoulders and her techniques were wonderful. I was in total bliss. I would give her 6 stars if I could. The guy at reception was extremely friendly and had good mannerisms. But sadly the good points kind of end there. There was an extremely high amount of chlorine in the air, there really needs to be more ventilation as it was really quite strong. The pool itself seemed cloudy and in desperate need of a good clean and PH balance, there was black grime around the edges of the pool, it looked unclean. We also managed to find a really grubby looking black plaster floating around in the pool, when we told a member of staff about it, he spoke poor English and didn't seem to understand what I was saying, even though I was pointing directly to the plaster, I couldn't hear him very well either and he seemed to just get irritated and left, I didn't see him again after that, but once I had informed the man on reception he sorted it out straight away. The hot tub was out of action, and there was no communication on how to use their facilities properly, I had totally missed the showers and changing area which was down a long hallway to the left on my initial visit. And when looking for towels to dry off with, I was told that we needed to bring towels from our room down with us or pay an extra charge to use theirs, which seemed kind of crazy. My mother also had a massage, but left feeling disappointed with hers. She said that she didn't really use any pressure at all and just sort of gently rubbed around, she kept trying to encourage her to use more pressure but apparently refused. My mum has multiple health conditions and finding relief for her can be really important so I was really saddened to hear this when she came out after mine had been so fantastic. She didn't feel that relaxed and her massage felt rushed too. Overall not a great experience. If I was to stay at the Montcalm again (absolutely brilliant hotel, cannot fault it or their staff) I wouldn't be likely to use the pool or spa facilities at all without some serious improvements.

Negative experience: The whole vibe was nice, but the actual massage itself was a big let down. It felt rushed and was more of a rub down than anything else. I could feel him going over the knots but he just glazed over them. Every time I thought he was gonna step it up he would move on to another area. I took it for what it was, which was a free massage and just closed my eyes and relaxed His time keeping wasn't great. He asked me to lay on my back and preceded to massage my quads which lasted all of 2 minutes. Only plus was that this was a free gift. It's a tough one as I did feel relaxed at the end of it, but I just wanted a bit more.
Positive experience: Upon booking, checked with spa twice to see if the jacuzzi was working. To our horror, upon arrival the jacuzzi was out of service, bearing in mind we had called to double check if the jacuzzi was in full service. Staff had apologiesed, however, we have booked this specific spa because of the jacuzzi. Overall, our day was good, but it would be nicer to have a longer slot as you are only allowed to have 1 hour to use facilities and then you are taken to have massge, therefore 2 hours. It does not seem worth the price for this amount of time, etc.
Positive experience: Mixed feelings. Positives: Was easy to book, lady on the phone was polite and agreed to confirm it on the day of the expiration date of voucher as other days were not available. Actual treatment- Swedish deep tissue massage was excellent, we had 2 therapists for 2 of us in a room for couples. Both of us actually were thinking why these great masseuses are working here and not in a better places. Even they were very busy - new treatment every hour - 10-15 mins break between sessions, and still they were very friendly and did great job. Negatives: changing room is too small for amount of people using it at same time (they let you in 2 hours before treatment by Groupon voucher), lockers are in the narrow corner and only 2 benches so you can’t even think about social distance. Some lockers Were broken. Pool seems like has no air conditioning- was not easy to be there - way to much chlorine in the air. Sauna was closed. Towels and robes are quite old with holes. Summary: it’s quite all right when it’s not busy.
Negative experience: So small. There were no lockers free for us to leave our things. No slippers or robes available due to none being clean. Staff were blunt and not very helpful or welcoming. Email communication said arrive 15-30 mins early to make the most of facilites but were not able to enter when we arrived 20 minutes early and was told if we go in we would have to leave 20 minutes early too. The space is small and you always feel like your in someones way. There were maybe 10 other couples in at our time and realistically only 3 spaces around the pool, space for 2 couples in sauna, steam room, jaccuzi so everyone felt the need to rotate like clockwork rather than have a leisurely time. The steam room was off for an hour of our visit. By this time, all the steam had left and you could see a slunge from what I assume is an extraction vent down the wall. Gross. With all this said we had a nice enough time, however, would not return.
Positive experience: I wish I could give you guys 5*. The staff was really friendly and the massage was great. Only issue was that at the time both the jacuzzi and the steam room were not working and I really wanted to have a relaxing jacuzzi session.
Negative experience: Be sure to call before you even buy an experience for this place because they don't have any slots available for treatment. After trying to book in a day experience they stopped picking up calls and i had to contact via email. Sent over the security code to confirm the booking and instead of booking it in as i had asked them to they wanted to argue specifics and we lost our slot. Very irritating staff members
Negative experience: The whole process has been substandard from start to finish. Firstly, the booking process was far from easy. There was considerable confusion; one person told me I couldn’t use the voucher as Shoreditch had closed and was not valid for Liverpool Street. Another, after giving me a time slot, then told me the slot was no longer available when I tried to redeem the voucher. So, despite the first hurdle, I was looking forward to my treatment and duly arrived about 30 minutes ahead of time. Firstly, the queue to actually speak to a receptionist was unacceptable and, when I finally got to do so, I was yet again given conflicting messages as one person told me that use of the spa was included, along with a glass of Prosecco however, when I left the treatment I was told this not the case and that I couldn’t use the facilities. I appreciate that this may have been a genuine mistake, but I do not appreciate your staff making me feel as if I was stupid and causing them problems. On checking on my return home, the website clearly states that use of the spa is indeed included on my treatment. After filling out the forms, because of the queue, no-one came to take me to the room, nor explain how the lockers worked meaning I was then late despite having arrived so early. Furthermore I was asked to pay £3 for a robe despite having credit left on my voucher. So, the actual massage - I had been given a voucher for £100 to cover a 50 minute Deep Tissue massage which I had originally booked. I ended up receiving a Swedish massage (£10 cheaper), something I didn’t want in the first place which but, because of the delays at the desk, ultimately ended up being only 40 minutes. I was told, somewhat patronisingly, that all the information should have been included in an email, which I never received because the initial receptionist had misspelt my name (proven as the lady read it back to me this morning!) All in all, I’ve left what should have been a relaxing morning feeling stressed and upset. Not only did I not get to enjoy the full experience, there remains a credit on my account which I was told someone would be in touch about. It’s been 48 hours now. I’ve tried to contact the spa regarding this and my other concerns, but with no luck. Can I also just add that there were four different people communicating with me on the day. Clearly there is a lack of training, since I was given so much conflicting information. Given these events I certainly do not recommending Beauty & Melody to anybody wishing to go for a relaxing experience. It was anything but relaxing! And I really hope someone will be in touch soon, like I was promised on the day.
Negative experience: Echoing everyone else who has submitted a review. Avoid this overpriced and below average place. From the moment I had to call multiple time to try and use my voucher I knew it was a bad sign. The place is tired, grubby and staff seem to be incentivised to sell you inflated potions and lotions to cure your ailments while you are having a treatment. Pretty shameful. Also no offer of water after the massage, pretty basic. The treatment also started late but yet managed to finish dead on time. Honestly do not visit, spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
Negative experience: Had a bad experience here in late May 2021. No COVID regulations were followed and the place was packed with barely anyone wearing masks. The pool was full with lots of rubbish round the edges. There were 5-6 people in the hot tub. The changing rooms were also dirty with rubbish lying around. Massage was average.
Negative experience: I've attempted to utilise a spa package that my partner purchased for me via Wowcher for Christmas; of course, we were on a nationwide lockdown, so everything was closed. Once everything reopened in April, I attempted to book and was unsuccessful, and I tried to book again in May for a bank holiday before my voucher expired and once again, it was excuses and poor customer service. They offered to extend the voucher for one month, Monday-Friday, which of course is impossible to attend if you’re a working professional. I would not recommend this place at all. I was left in shock and distress after my phone conversation with staff, who were incredibly rude, unprofessional and un-informed. AVOID!!

Fantastic experience: My 5 star review is solely based on my massage therapist Vagelis. He is so amazing at what he does and listens to your concerns and addresses them and exceeds. His previous background and knowledge of physiotherapy ensures all areas of your body are left satisfied. Ask for him when making a booking!! The receptionist staff are friendly and professional. I haven't used the spa facilities so can't comment on that.
Positive experience: Massage itself was nice and the staff were very polite! However the facilities are underwhelming. The pool and jacuzzi area is tiny and the changing rooms are ridiculously small. I probably would have been happier if I hadn’t spent £100 on a 50 minute massage on groupon, and had spent around £50 instead as that’s what I felt it was worth.

Fantastic experience: It was a very excellent session. Decided to treat myself to a nice 50 minute deep tissue treatment, followed up with nice bubbly and end the day with sauna and a jacuzzi. Great staff on hand to help out and it wasnt busy at all when i went so it was fairly quiet which i like, and everything super clean! Hope to be back soon thank you :)

Positive experience: I booked an experience here for myself and my sister in law. The pool and sauna are beautiful and The treatment was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The lady at reception and ladies giving the treatments were friendly. The products in the showers smell beautiful. The only thing that lets it down is the steam room is missing a few tiles and is a bit smelly. I know other places where the steam room is almost menthol. This isn' . And the changing facilities are very small. We came fairly early in the morning so had space but just be cautiou .

Fantastic experience: I visited Beauty&Melody Spa with my boyfriend a few days ago. We had a 50-mins massage and a glass of bubbly. It was a birthday surprise and it turned out fantastic. The staff (especially the therapists) were so professional and helpful. They really helped us make our experience more enjoyable. The spa itself looks very nice and tidy. Also, they offer so many facilities: from the well-equipped gym area through a nice swimming pool and Jacuzzi to sauna. Place worth recommending. We'll definitely be back soon!

Negative experience: I made a couple's spa package booking well over a month ahead of time specifically to spend quality time with my husband on Easter Sunday. And we had shaped our day around the spa appointment and specifically requested that my husband and I receive our treatment together. After having made the appointment, I received five emails changing my appointment time without having previous called me or consulted me to confirm they are suitable. The night before our appointment, I received a phone call to finally ask if I am ok with a newly changed appointment time for the couple's massage, and when I asked twice during the same phone conversation whether my husband and I will be treated together, they confirmed yes. So it was to our surprise when we arrived on the day to be informed that my husband and I have different and separate appointments for our treatments. The staff did approach the issue with patience, and eventually advised that we could be treated together if we waited half an hour, which we agreed. However, it came to our surprise when, after waiting half an hour, we both each escorted to separate rooms to receive our massage, rather than being treated for a couple's massage as previously advised by the staff. We were misled and misled across every stage of what should be a simple process. When we asked to discuss with the manager, she was defensive and unfocused to provide a solution to the circumstance, as well as the lost of time, where my husband and I stood around waiting. She was aggressive and spoke with anger - the qualities which could not be more polar opposite to the essence of running a spa service. The overall process was distressing and poorly communicated. We did not feel that they had valued us as customers, nor tailored our booking to what was previously communicated and assured. I felt incredibly upset and anxious, to the point that I did not feel I could enjoy the massage. We had wasted our 6 weeks wait for this appointment, wasted our holiday that we had looked forward to for a long time, and wasted our money. I do not view this company with credibility and professionalism and walked away viewing this glitzy establishment full of false pretences. When I invest on a relaxation experience, I do feel the company ought to reciprocate with care for customers and valuing their individual circumstances to make the most out of their enjoyment. I regret to have planned a much anticipated vacation on this place, our lost time cannot ever be recovered, and I do not wish to advise anyone else to have to go through the same.

Positive experience: In general a good experience but not Luxury... Been there for a massage and spa. Very massage even if the room I get was a bit little and noisy. The swimming pool is just beautiful but it is very tiny around. In the hammam some piece are going out... Service is good but not “luxury”. No soap in the shower next to the sauna and in male no body wash... thanks god the cleaner maintain the cleaning at a top level.

Positive experience: Didn't try any of the treatments so can't comment on that but my girlfriend and I were very pleased with our spa experience. We used the sauna, steam room, swimming pool and hot tub. Clean and excellent facilities, awesome service, the showers were some of the nicest I've ever been in.
