Fantastic experience: Great centre. I attend the site frequently to use the gym and find the staff helpful and friendly. I have not been sure on how to use some of the equipment in the gym and the staff have not only shown me how to use and have also recommended how to get the best out of my workouts. Leisure centre is clean, friendly and very welcoming. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had a great time at family fun session with my son today. We emailed Better on the day who confirmed the water slide would be operating in the session, so we were surprised to be told when we arrived at the centre that it wasn’t working! However the response of the staff to our understandable dissatisfaction was excellent and the flume was opened so everyone in the session young and old had lots of fun (it’s a really fast flume ride!), so thanks to all at OneNK!

Positive experience: Called to enquire about taking my toddler granddaughter swimming. £7.85 for 50 minutes! If she were 3, or older, it would be £11.85!

Negative experience: My daughter has been attending swimming lessons for years but she has not moved up and at the same level for at least three years. Whenever I ask they say that my girl has weak legs. Teachers don't give any regular updates and assessments are done by someone else who has no idea about their swimming abilities. They don't push the kids and teachers keep on changing.

Negative experience: Poor customer service when you call you get put through to BELFAST call centre who can’t speak English very well and can’t get through to my local centre so a waste of time don’t use go else where

Fantastic experience: I have been going swimming there with my daughter for years and joined the gym a few months ago. The pool is great and changing rooms are always clean. The showers have recently been fixed and all lockers work. The classes are excellent especially dance and aqua. All staff and members are very friendly and helpful. A very inclusive place to exercise and have a good time.

Fantastic experience: Very Friendly staff. Very Helpful Reception Staff. Any queries complaints re lack of toilet rolls or empty soap dispenser have been dealt with quickly n efficiently. Help given to those needing help navigating round the Better app..to book a class or pay membership etc. Getting more n more different classes and new instructors being trained to deal with the number of classes needed. Instructors are brilliant n so helpful in improving health,posture, balance,fitness. There is also so much camaradie in the classes. Made some lovely friends n we chat over coffee( n often cakes )in the cafe after. The new LiNKup scheme on 1st Thursday of the month has been a hit too..Over coffee we do quizzes or craftwork for Charity.. .or sell baking for Centre's latest Charity Fundraiser. I have done my 5k Swimathon for Cancer Research n Marie Curie at a Swim Fit session allowing me a whole lane last year. Shows how obliging they are. I definitely get good value for my membership as i do lots of classes n swimming a week. All Classes are included in the membership.

Fantastic experience: Posting on behalf of a friend. 'I would like to say how helpful NK has been to me after losing my mum and my job at the same time. The classes are amazing, swimming I love, Pilates helps me so much, the gym I really enjoy but the dance classes with Bryony is by far my favourite, a real feel good factor. Thank you NK. -Carole'

Fantastic experience: I use the facilities at OneNK on a daily basis - I swim, do aquafit and use the gym, all of which I thoroughly enjoy. A lot of my enjoyment is of course down to the wonderful team at One NK but also to the excellent pool, upto date gym equipment and our trainers. Would not choose to go anywhere else for my exercise and wellbeing.

Negative experience: Yuck! Been to their ‘leisure’ pool twice, 9 months apart, and each time our little one ended up getting conjunctivitis from the disgusting dirty water. The pool has dirt lying on the bottom and there is a lot of hair and other gross things floating around in it. Never going back again.

Negative experience: Absolutely useless place. My partner pays a monthly fee to swim there and three times now in the past month she has booked a time slot online to swim, only to arrive and to be told swimming for members is cancelled because they have reserved the pool for a school. Perhaps they should update their website to advise people that the pool is not available for members to book a time for swimming to prevent people wasting their time. It could be worse though, as next time she turned up for a swim and jumped in the deep end she probably would have ended up with a broken leg because someone forgot to put the water in. Needless to say, she has cancelled her membership.

Positive experience: Daughter loves it here, clean changing rooms plenty of space for families, although a couple of showers, hairdryers and locker keys and straps broken and never fixed in a few years, swimming experience great with lots for kids to play with

Positive experience: Unfriendly staff member in reception, muddy changing room, but little girl was very hapy in swimming pool, nice splash area. Will never go again.

Negative experience: Went swimming and the pool was freezing no way was it the right temperature even with swimming still felt cold asked one of the life guards what pool temperature was and she didn't know just said it is always cold and getting a shower afterwards having 4 showers out of order meaning you have to wait would expect more for the cost and you only get 50 minutes swimming

Fantastic experience: I visited to OneNK for the first time the other day and the staff members were so welcoming and informative, especially Cole! This place offers such a diverse range of activities; it was also really easy to find and super hygienic.

Negative experience: I feel a bit frustrated with the lack of flexibility for the swim for fitness. Always seems to be a family swim, or swimming lessons, or closing earlier so limited for swim for fitness. When I finish work on weekends nothing for swim for fitness just open for all and it closes early. I don't even have access.

Fantastic experience: I popped in the other day for a look around and cole I believe was the assistant manager showed me about. Was so helpful and nice would really recommend visiting and also cole!!!

Negative experience: very disappointed is a understatement. Pool was freezing, so kids couldn't enjoy it. lifeguards on this morning was rude. Couldn't wait to leave! waste of £30

Negative experience: Called up and asked if they had swim nappies, they said yes, got there no swim nappies, the person at the call centre just plain lied lol if they had just said no I would have got some from elsewhere and this review would be different. If I owned a swimming pool, I'd defined stock some stuff people need just for the sake of the sales, let alone the service. Nappies are non-perishable, easy to procure, and fundamental to swimming hygiene, so there really is no excuse for not having stock. Also, the kids' pool was murky, probably meaning the levels were out and there was not enough chlorine. 02/04/23 11:50-12:40 session. other than that the kids loved it!

Negative experience: Not been since before covid, £7.70 per person for general swim! For that price I’d expect a fairly decent temperature in the pool. Incorrect.. after swimming for 45 minutes I still felt cold. Wanted a hot shower. All the cubicles were locked! So all that is available in the unisex changing rooms (family village they call it!)were the row of push button ones. With nowhere to even hang your towel up on these ones whilst trying wash yourself with shower gel (if you go take some of your own as none is provided in a dispenser) and holding a towel is just shambolic. It was an ordeal, and that was me on my own let alone taking the kids. Won’t return (can’t afford to!!)

Fantastic experience: Used the sports hall to play badminton. It's easy to book online. Facilities are good no complaints. You can hire racquets and shuttlecocks for free.

Negative experience: Kids pool was so cold my daughter cried when she got in. I mentioned it to the lifeguard and she mumbled something and gave me a look. We ended up in the castle play area which was nice and warm, but it meant that all parents of small children were forced to go in there and no one was in the kids pool.

Positive experience: I’ve started bringing my son here now for a while. My son wanted to go down the slide but was too scared, because of his height I wasn’t allowed to go with him. He was 8 the first time we tried. I thought that was poor of the staff to not accommodate his fear. I’ve since gone down with him when eventually someone see sense and he now loves it. I really like it here and the staff (apart from what I’ve mentioned) are really good and polite and in my opinion, there is a good amount of lifeguards watching. I think the price is good and facilities are more than adequate. Parking is sometimes difficult but it’s not a negative as there is only so much space. And nothing more can be done. The only thing I’d like to see is better clothes hooks in the changing rooms and raised water mats on the floor in the cubicles (if you understand what I mean) as the floors can be grubby, which is understandable when we all wear our shoes going into them. Lastly, my son loves it here.

Fantastic experience: Great facility for the local area. The staff are always on hand to help out and give tours for new members and are very knowledgeable in most areas :) Love the swimming pool, and there are lots of different session to cater for everyone’s needs. The new gym equipment that was put in recently is also a really good selling point for the centre as it increases what you can do!

Fantastic experience: The leisure centre staff was really welcoming towards my younger brother and I when we went in the fun swim. They ensured that the pool was a safe and fun environment and the flume itself sets it apart from any nearby pool

Positive experience: Went for our first visit today because of the slide that is advertised on their website. The screen for the slide is not working so it’s just a normal flume but was good. I think there is a health and safety issue to be sorted regarding the slide, a member of staff stands at the door by the pool and allows 1 person to walk up the stairs to the slide one at a time. When I walked up to the start of the slide I was shocked to see that there was no safety net around the side of the staircase, as young children walk up the stairs on their own and if they were to climb over the side, it’s a few floors drop to the bottom. There should be a member of staff at the top of the stairs to supervise young children. The swimming pool was very cold and then the showers were very hot, people were not letting their children shower because how hot they were. Please can something be done for the safety of the children walking up the stairs to the slide.

Positive experience: It could be nicer place if would be look after properly.. When you coming in to the pool changing room you can smell urine very strong.. Not clean there too.. Horrible.. Shame..

Negative experience: Can swim 25 metres and wouldn’t let us in the deep end I’m not happy. We were diving in and everything

Positive experience: Busier than I expected considering there was supposedly limited numbers. No one adhering to the cv19 rules that they request. The flume is ok but the camera thing broken. The pool life guards seemed friendly and helpful. The place was relatively clean considering no one was taking their shoes off before you walk around the changing room. It's looking a bit tired in places but overall a good experience.

Negative experience: What an absolute shambles this (once nice)place has sadly become. The changing rooms i wouldnt put my chickens in without sterilising fully they are awful. Some of the staff are actually nice but the rest are kids all congregating in reception chatting.. Ignoring customers. One of the male lifeguards who looks about 12 covered head to toe in tattoos was just stood staring angrily at people. Its without doubt the least welcoming place ive been to in a very long time Safe to say i shall not be going again. Avoid if you can.

Fantastic experience: If you are over 50, you must come along, actively on a Tuesday badminton, tennis, table tennis and bowls. On Thursday morning walking football boy and girls. Next Friday as Tuesday morning. All start 10:15. Really good fun and friendly two pound fifty a section. I will be 69 next brithday, and can't tell you how much I enjoy going. The venue is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. I am still going to all the sessions which are great fun.

Negative experience: Appalling customer service, always palmed off by staff on reception including management. Details can be taken 20x over and still no call back. E-mailed the top 2 swim instructors nearly a week ago and surprisingly still no reply

Positive experience: Good size pool, reasonably clean. Water was colder than expected. Not too busy either.

Negative experience: Positive: Great one instructor (Nikki) Negative: Very limited number of classes. Staff at reception unfortunately useless, many times they would leave a gate open saying that everyones’s attendance was marked on the system and then I would get penalty charges for no shows (3 in two weeks). Impossible to freeze membership, staff at reception lost my letters confirming work trip despite multiple chasing. In the end they simply said it is not possible to freeze membership so I better cancel it (which they did for me). One week later I got an email from head office confirming freezing the membership. Sadly the worst gym experience I had.

Negative experience: Today, me and my friend visited to play badminton. This was after trying to phone for three days but with no answer ! We decided to go there anyway in the hope of being able to play. As we walked into the reception, there was a group of five teenage staff all sat gossiping amongst themselves. After a good five minutes, when they finally noticed us stood there. They informed us that they were not taking cash due to contamination. What was so ironic was that none of them had a facemask on ! Absolutely no good vibes about this place, and will not be returning.

Negative experience: Can't book online for the swim for all and can't call the gym directly to book. Brilliant.

Negative experience: A business doesn't exist without staff to answer the phones! The automated message sucks as it's nearly 2 minutes of useless information that has no relevance!! Your customers want to speak to you to find out about your facilities but the automated service and lack of been able to speak to anyone is unbelievable! Maybe you could address this as I'm not the only one complaining about your lack of customer service and the ability to pick up a phone.

Negative experience: Cold...the water is very cold, some staff are unhelpful, there is even tissue at the bottom of the pool, the changing rooms are cold too, do not visit the pool.

Positive experience: Nice to see the parking area sorted out no massive pot holes!! Entry to swimming £8 for adult and 1 over 5. Changing area fairly clean. Great area for toddlers did see few moldy bits tho round both pools and the interactive part of the water slide wasnt working so coudnt select music or have pictures sent to email this hasnt been working now for about 8 months, fairly dissapointed about that considering they boast about it being the uks first interactive water slide ! Will be visting again hopefully it will be fixed for summer holidays.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym. The gym instructors are so friendly and motivational.

Negative experience: The facilities are decent enough but its let down a little by the gruff and painfully slow staff at reception and the car park is actually dangerous and likely to do serious damage to your vehicle and thats not an exaggeration, you could get strong legs in the gym and just as easily break them on the way back to the car in one of the cavernous pot holes!

Negative experience: NEVER answer the phone, car park and lighting shocking state of repairs, havent even been inside as outside puts me off

Negative experience: Joined on a 1 month trial in October, received no paperwork, and then continued to have a direct debit taken out for an extra 2 months. The facilities are okay, but if you want to take part in any of the popular classes, you have to book as soon as they become available the week prior which isn’t any use for somebody wanting a bit of flexibility. When I cancelled the direct debit having had further payments incorrectly taken, despite me informing the gym in the December that I had only signed up for 1 month, and being assured that it was their error and I would receive a refund for the 2 incorrectly debited payments, I am still to receive any refund. To add insult to injury, their direct debit collection company contacted me for non payment of direct debit in January, despite having been informed in the December that my membership had been cancelled. Be careful when signing up to or being offered any “trial” memberships.

Fantastic experience: Great place to be :)

Negative experience: Appaling. Doesnt open to public til 1pm. Main pool is around 29° body temp is 36-37°. Everyone complained how cold! Cold makes yoy wanna pee.. suprise suprise.. toilets in changing rooms out of order for men and women! No explaination, no alternate, no provision, no apology! Ill let you guess what the alternate was...in the pool...AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! Its not even 1 Star come on nk, £12..its really not worth it!

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking if i could have given this place 0 stars i would not hesitate! Customer service is shocking every time i go i get charged more and more each time. Started at £1 a head last year and is now £30 for 1 hour! Utterly preposterous
