Negative experience: When phoning trilogy to ask to sign up for a membership (which I had done successfully for another child during the week) I did not expect to be met with such hostility from Shirley. She was rude, unhelpful and unnecessarily aggressive. I had spoken with the most lovely, helpful lady during the week.

Negative experience: I appreciate they have done some refurbishment work for the main changing room side...But, God, the state of the swimming pool and the saunas... Been there 6 months ago,it just gets worse and worse. There is green algae all over the tiles, the floor of the pool is yellow... They have no cleaned it for way too long. Unacceptable. The sauna space is terrible, it needed to he done a few years back.. there is mould all over the ceiling in the resting space. The chairs and shezlongs are dirty and broken, everyone looks so creepy. The sauna needs refurbishment as well... I don't think anything gets cleaned properly given the number of people... You have to sort this out, these are not acceptable facilities, you will be loosing clients, you can't not look after the space for that long...just complete neglect.

Positive experience: Been coming here for around a year now and can honestly say it's become my second home the staff are lovely and love the swimming pool, steam room and plunge pool. The instructors are doing a great job at teaching the kids as well.

Negative experience: I will not leave myself under any circumstances! No one can do this to my child! I sat behind the glass wall and saw the teacher explain something to him several times! When I noticed that my child was crying, I didn't know what was happening! So I went there and asked what's wrong? The teacher then said what medical reason does the child have for using SWIMMING NOSE CLIPS!? I'll give the money to the company! And this is how they treat my child!? Seriously? The way they treated the child is not acceptable under any circumstances!!

Negative experience: Not worth the money for the state of the place. The changing rooms are tiny, and like many have said very grubby. Pound for pound there's better gyms in the area. Just to add, staff are great and are always friendly, polite and helpful.

Negative experience: Changing room areas very dirty and majority of cubicles have clothing items in them despite there been ample lockers. Again, no blue shoe covers and when staff actually appear at reception the only answer they have is "we're waiting for them to come in".

Fantastic experience: Amazing. went there right next to checkout there is big changing room. lockers are good.and showers next to it. there is a big swimming pool because the other tryolighy places expctext dannes camp is bad. The swiming pool is big and there is another swimming pool. The trash is cleaned amazingly

Positive experience: We go to lessons here, it is pretty loud, the pools are pretty dirty on the sides and in the pools, lie some bandages and other things. But the instructors are top-tier, but they can do more to improve this.

Negative experience: The worst swimming "lessons" I have ever witnessed. First lesson - had to pull him out after 15 minutes because he was being spat at and the instructor just kept telling my son to "swim over there" - he cant swim that's the point of being here. When I questioned him on it he said it was too hard to handle the kids! Complained about this - told they would view the lessons - and they didn't I then requested to move lessons to get new instructor and away from the other kids - this instructor was better but they a week later they moved the kids who spit everywhere into this lesson without warning so I then had to move instructors and days this time to new lessons. Went to the new day and the instructor spent half an hour throwing floating toys into the pool for them to just run about and pick up. That was the cherry on the top! Under qualified, under trained, dated pool, and no care whatsoever when you put complaints in about them. I have since taken my son to another centre for lessons and the difference in quality is unbelievable!

Negative experience: The staff are friendly and helpful. The Sauna and the changing rooms are filthy. There are flies in the changing rooms/shower. You have People shaving their beards in the shared area in the spa. GET THE CORRECT CLEANING STAFF TO DEAL WITH IT.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, staff and clientele friendliness is the only real positive thing what has to say about this place. It’s filthy and lives up to this reputation. Like an old car, something is always broken and they are not quick at repairs nor letting you know ahead of time. I’ll spare you the disgusting pictures of mold EVERYWHERE!!!!!

Negative experience: The yoga class is amazing but staff need to supervise the spa facilities. You have People shaving their beards etc in the shared area in the spa. This does not make for a very hygienic environment.

Fantastic experience: Лично мне это место очень нравится. Тут чисто, тепло. Персонал следит за безопасностью. Есть большой бассейн с глубиной 2,75 метра, детский бассейн и бассейн с холодной водой в сауне. Кстати, в сауне температура слабенькая. Не больше 80° C. Мне бы хотелось хотя бы 110° С, но её не можно регулировать. Есть также жим. В общем, хорошее место.

Negative experience: Staff friendly but always there’s one Karen out there, plus the pool is dirty, I wonder if they clean them, and werent gonna let someone who’s 14th birthday is the next day, because they “don’t care”, and the gym is small for £25 per month, I’m gonna cancel my membership from now, we had no problems untill this Karen, she better get fired if you don’t want to lose clients.

Fantastic experience: As a regular mature member of the Mounts Baths I'm pleased to leave a comment about the lovely friendly staff. I love visiting the Mounts it's a vital part of my week. I think they deserve a pat on the back for keeping cheerful and respectful when some customers are so rude and argumentative. Also they constantly clean up - despite uncaring people not wearing overshoes...leaving rubbish in cubicles. It must be a thankless job at times but I've never heard anyone grumble. Thankyou

Fantastic experience: I have been attending the Mounts for over two years now, as a patron of both the gym, health suite and classes, and it's hard to find major flaws in the place. For someone conscious about their size I've found the staff nothing but helpful and incredibly considerate, there's enough equipment for varied workouts and targeting all aspects of what you need. The only flaws I can find is that there seems to be a random chance that something in the health suite is broken, and often petty things seem to break it, or there's not enough advisory signs to stop people from breaking things, so it's often a mixed bag if something is not working, but it would benefit from more frequent band checks and more rigorous cleaning during the off days. EDIT: In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic I've had to adjust this review. Trilogy's team have been overwhelmingly accepting of the new rules of regulations and are going out of their way to prevent the pandemic spreading further. Truly more than anyone else expected. My other comments about the health suite seem moot now, as I've begin to think it's unfair to treat such issues as breakdowns as a flaw when, in retrospect, they've tried their absolute hardest to deal with the problems as they cropped up, only being delayed by the protected status of the building. I couldn't commend them more.

Negative experience: The whole cleanliness let's the pool and changing rooms down completely, and no matter how many times it's reported they don't seam to get the correct cleaning staff to deal with it. There are issues in the pool but nothing gets done so no point it bringing it up.i will add a ps... The staff iv come into contact with are very nice helpful guys if iv asked for info they're always on hand and helpful.

Positive experience: Nice clean modern changing area and well maintained art deco era swimming pool. You can park free for 90 minutes at Aldi’s parking lot about 300 metres from the Baths. Plenty of room for scheduled lap swimming in the 33.3 yard pool. A good option for visitors who need their daily lap swimming fix. Lockers are a pound in the slot returnable. Casual entry is 4.80 pounds.

Positive experience: Nice changing rooms, actual pool a little dated and on the day we went the water was really cold. We went to a family friendly swim session and the only difference we noticed between that and the general swim was that the lane marker was moved. Good for those who can swim well, so we were ok, but not really a family fun swimming session. Parking was also very limited and across a very busy road.

Negative experience: Had to give a one star bcos I wanted to leave a review. DO NOT PAY FOR A MEMBERSHIP IN TRILOGY, I had to cancel my membership due to unforeseen circumstances. I called them up to ask how I can do this and the lady advised I need to cancel my direct debit with my bank and it will be done. She failed to mention I will have to also cancel my membership with her directly and also pay a cancellation fee!! Due to her failing to advise me this, I was put in arrears for something I should not have had to pay an excess amount off. Such poor and disgusting service provided, I called to raise a complaint too but this too could not be actioned. TRILOGY STAFF TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR MONEY SO DO NOT BOTHER WITH THEM.

Negative experience: Old building, poor facilities and expensive for what it is. They charge for use of lockers and limited parking around the back. Dirty nappy in our family changing room, when asked to get it removed (had my 10 month old with me) it was simply taken away and not cleaned

Negative experience: When I first joined I gave it 5 stars, however that was a mistake. The health suite ( sauna&steam room) are out of order constantly and the length of time it takes to get them back up and running is ridiculous. Every other week you expect some notice of something being out of order and not to mention these facilities being quite dirty and the staff don't seem to care about these issues. Not great.

Fantastic experience: I love this pool, I swim there regularly. The reception staff are great. The pool is not "a lame 70's" pool as previously described, it is a beautiful Art Deco pool built in 1936, that is a listed building. It could do with larger, more reliable lockers in the main pool area, and a bit of a deep clean in places, but it's over 30 meters long, and they try to always keep one lane open for serious swimmers to use.
